Great place as far as an auto dealers go. The sales person (Tim) was great,. Got a good price on a new car. Dealership has a museum next door to go too while car is prepped. When it looked like it would take extra time for prep and dealer installed options they offered to deliver to my door 100 miles away for free so I wouldn't have to wait. Great place.
Chris McConn was AWESOME!!!! I came from Oxmoor (which no shade to their service dept--b/c they're great) and with the sales reps, I was less than impressed. This was my first TRUE car buying experience, as I typically had a family member pick out a car and hand it down to me--so this was all very NEW, the jargon, the steps, what to look for, what to not worry about, etc. The reason I went with Swope was definitely Chris M. He knew the cars and very well, he was enthusiastic in presentation while maintaining professionalism. I didn't feel the pressure to purchase anything or make a decision NOR did I sense any pressure on his end that he was scrambling for his sale. It made it easy and relaxed, and he was very REAL about the things he was saying. I truly felt that he wasn't recommending anything to me that he wouldn't do or get himself. He was very informative, and answered all my questions, gave me different options (initially I hadn't planned on getting what I got--but to be honest, with all the details I learned--i LOVE my Elantra. I'm probably in love with it too. And I should be.) I would go back again. Chris was awesome, and leaves you with feeling like you met a guy who knows a lot about cars and has your best interest at heart, and not just "another car salesman". I did eventually meet Chris F. and I believe Scott (finance) and I just overall was completely impressed and very pleased with the consistency of professionalism and courtesy within the staff. I recently purchased a car from Chris Featherstone at Swope Hyundai. He was very helpful and seemed to be more of a friend, than a car salesman. Chris actually took the time to make sure I had the right car, rather than pushing one on me, like other car salesman in the area. Scott Mills was also very nice, helpful and actually cared about getting me the right car for the right deal.
We purchased a new Hyundai Sonata from Chris and he wasn't pushy at all. It actually took us a couple months, few visits and many phone calls and he was extremely patient with us throughout the entire process. By far the worst dealership i have ever been to. They tried to give 3000 less than msrp on my car. Say that there was thing wrong with my car. I went out and showed them that everything on there list is in working order. His only response was 4000 is still the best we can do. There sales people and GM could barely string together a full sentence. Complete waste of time they are only out for themselves and no helping the customer. Wish i could give them a 0 star rating for overall experience.
I had a trailer hitch installed on my 17SantaFe sport yesterday. All I can say is.5 stars us not enough.The parts dept worked with me to.price match another quote I had for the hitch and installation . The Service Dept was great. JR and the service dept kept me informed of progress of the installation. JR even found a recall for my Santa Fe that I was unaware of. Overall A+
Swope Hyundai gave us a stellar car buying experience. My family bought a Chevrolet Tahoe here and they fixed our brakes and the DVD player free of charge. They gave us good money for our previous car at trade in value. There was no hassle and the people there are really nice! Would recommend!! (Brett and Kevin were who we worked with btw)
Easily the worst experience I have ever had with car repair services. This is a long story. On June 8th my friends and I were driving from Illinois to Tennessee to go camping. On the way there, however, my car had a complete unexpected break down with "catastrophic" engine failure. Thankfully my car still had the engine warranty for under 100,000 miles and we were informed that it would be brought to a Hyundai dealership and repaired. My family and I were very pleased with this. Then the trouble began. At first Swope Hyundai refused to service the car because they did not believe us to be the owners. We had to send them the vehicle registration and other information before they would begin work. Now several months later they inform us that the car is ready! So my friend and I drive the five and a half hours down to Kentucky to pick it up. The moment I start the car an extremely loud squealing sound is heard that obviously signifies that something is not correct. After pointing this out to them they say "It should be fine". I am not convinced and ask that they repair the pully on serpentine belt that is causing the issue. They then say "well this wont be covered in the warranty". So we have to leave the car again and pay several hundred dollars for a subsequent repair. Then again they call and say that it is ready. My father and mother go this time as they want to see the car themselves. When they turn it on low and behold the SERVICE ENGINE light is on. At this point we have had enough and we will somehow try to get the car back to Illinois where we can have actual professionals deal with the issues at hand. I would like to ask the managers and owner of this establishment if they have any pride in their work at all? Do you even care about those you claim to be assisting? This was very difficult to manage finding 11-12 hours in a day to drive there and back with almost nothing to show for it. Please never come to this establishment as they will most likely do more harm than good. EDIT: Another point that I missed, that I believe is incredibly telling of their horrible service, is the fact that on the exit paperwork we were given they list that the car has the same mileage on exit as it did on entry. This means that they "repaired" the car and then did not even bother testing it. How is this even possible? This shows a complete lack of professionalism. I hope you all never to have your car repaired at this institution if only to save you the hardship that this has placed on myself and family.
Stopped in to have my bumper cover looked at after bottoming on my property in Bardstown, before going back to Virginia. Swope took my SUV in right away and ensured it was not going to come off on the hwy. Thank you and this was better service then I get with my dealer and their service. Great service and freindly people.

Went with my daughter to be her "muscle". Didn't really need it. She bought a used car from them. Mike was exceptional. Brandon dis a great job. I made an offer and they accepted it. Wasn't there to long, couple of hours total which isn't bad considering. Trade in, test drive, paperwork. I would go back to them to buy from any of the swope lots. We spoke with another salesman at another swope lot and he drove my daughter crazy with emails. She didn't like that and neither did I. Thank you guys for putting her in a car.

I bought my first brand new car here back in 2011 and it was a Genesis Coupe 2.0T. It wasnt necessarily the one I wanted but the dealer that had it was not cooperating with Swope in Radcliff. They had spent hours trying to contact the dealer but to no avail. I chose another model they had and to no fault of any service reps or managers I couldnt wait longer due to personal time. Always love the service I get going there, everyone is friendly, service department knows my brother and I by name, all around great place, great staff, and worked with me on my recent trade in of the 2011 for a 2014 R-Spec Model that I actually wanted. Couldnt be happier with the store.

I dreaded driving an hour to a car dealership where I expected to find pushy car salesman, but amazingly I didn't have that issue at Swope Hyundai of Elizabethtown. Jeremy Burke showed me what I wanted to see and didn't play games. He was honest on what he could probably do for me and so was the finance guy. They even followed up with me the following day to see if I had any questions. Best car shopping experience I had, hands down.
I bought my car from David. Everyone was very nice and helpful. He wasn’t pushy at all and it was an over all good experience. Him and his boss stayed late to finish our sale and make sure everything was done right. Neither one of them seemed to be rushing though the process to get out of there. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because after the sale was done they told me about this survey and asked if I would mind to do it. They sent me the link once I left. Over the next several days they asked me to do this survey 3 more times which I feel like is a little much.

Had a bad experience with a service center and went there for relief. The service department was supposed to clean and detail the engine bay as well as replace the cabin air filter. When i went to pick the vehicle up after being notified the work was completed i looked the car over. They had done absolutely nothing not even rinsed it off but charged over 300. The manager of the salea department looked it over taking pictures and agreeing with me. Then took it upon himself to send my vehicle to be completely detailed. His name was Ray amd he was very helpful. As far as the service department i would not only question the quality of their work but id the work waa even done at all. Negative stars for service department. 5 for sales.

I went to get my oil changed and we went over all my needs and wants. I was treated very respected and kept in the loop on everything going on. They would come to the waiting room to update me through out the oil change and was overall I think there the best I've been treated while having one of my new cars serviced. I first went to Swope Hyundai & Mitsubishi because they had a Ford Escape on the lot for sale, but when I went in to ask about his, the salesman, Chris Esterday, was very honest & told me the car had issues & he'd not want to sell it to me. He then asked what I was looking for and I told him. I felt very comfortable with him because he was so honest. The next thing I knew he showed me a vehicle and I fell in love with it instantly!!! I am now the owner of a 2008 Suzuki XL7 and I have never had such a great time and an easy smooth time buying a vehicle in my life!! I'll definitely refer and return back anytime!!! Recently bought a Lexus from them, called up Cody and asked him about the condition of the car before i could drive up that way for 3 hours... immaculate was the word he used for the condition of the car, so i took his words. After getting there and test driving it for few minutes, i heard some noises but couldn't tell what could it be, so i decided to buy it since the price was good plus they gave me good value for my car. so i bring it home and take it to my mechanic to let him have a look at it. he lifted it up and showed me the right side rear struts leaking oil, i ended up replacing both rear shocks for $950 plus alignment. i only wish they would have replaced the shock before selling me the car or at least should have told me about it, since they have their own mechanic shop to inspect the cars they sell.I tried to call Chris Featherstone and Cody to help me with the issues i was having with the car, after several phone calls and texted messages and voicemails Cody texts me and says he can't take the car back but he will but it from me for less price that what i paid and sell me another car from the dealership, I didn't think it was gonna be worth it for me so i decided to keep the car. after spending close to a thousand dollar car drives good but i hear a whinning noise coming from under the hood and i really hope it's not the transmission because i could tell this car was abused by their manager who drove it before selling it to me. In the end i would like to say i would never recommend this dealership to anyone because once you buy the car and you have issues you are gonna be on your own. They won't pick up your calls and help you solve the issue. Making long story short this dealership is the most shady dealership i came across and will never ever buy from them again.

I want to thank the staff at Radcliff Swope Mitsubishi. They were very patient with me dragging my feet on if I really wanted to buy a car or not. I told them my price range and monthly payment. They matched what I asked for, no hidden fees or small print gotcha's. I was even allowed to drive the vehicle for a few days to make sure I really wanted it. This group of employee's went above and beyond when most dealerships would have wrote me off as not a serious buyer. I am happy to say I now own my dream car with no regrets! Patience and hospitality go a long way.

I think it is a shame that a faulty climate control switch on a velostar that is a bad design and which is a fire hazard Hyundai says they are not responsible for after the first year. I guess that has made my mind up not to buy a new one. Also the case mgr at Hyundai wouldn’t even give her last name and wouldn’t give me anyone else to talk to. How sad.
Very helpful and I love my car. Best part is Swope also does my diagnostic checks and oil change. I simply pull up blow the horn the attendant meets me at my car, takes the keys. I go in have a coffee and they call me when it's done. Very pleased with this dealership

Dealt with Scott Mills and drove 7 hours one way for a car that my wife and I really liked. Arrived to find the car had not been detailed and was heavily smoked in by previous owner. Scott Mills lied and said the car was detailed and didn't know it was smoked in even though there were cigarette burns in the carpet and cigarette resin in the ash tray. The smoke smell was so strong that I got a headache from just sitting in the car for a few minutes. I wasted 14 hours total of driving and lots of gas money because Scott Mills hoped I wouldn't notice these obvious issues. He made no offer to reduce the price. He only offered to replace the cabin filter. Gee thanks. I'd give them zero stars for hiring someone like this, but one is the lowest choice.

Christopher McConn was amazing and Patient. while I made up my mind. I have been lucky and have not had a monthly car payment in a number of years, so the idea stresses me out. He helped my find a great 2015 sonata sport that was unsold and worked up a great deal on it as the 2016's are out. After he worked up the deal with the sales managers, Scott from their finance department worked very hard to get me the terms and rate I needed. Worst experience I have ever had buying a car. Drove 2.5 hrs down to look at and buy a used car that was not washed when arrived. Had 2 days to prep it. Why wouldn't they wash it? Well because it had clear coat defects. Called to talk to manager but was out do to death in family. Left message and no one returned my call. Worst dealership ever been to.
My husband and I recently bought a truck from Swope Hyundai. We met with the Joe and picked out what we wanted, in our price range with no pressure to buy something more than we needed. The next day both vehicles were ready and waiting for us to test drive. Nick showed us all the details of the vehicles and took the time to answer all of our questions. He was very friendly and personable. We didn't feel like we were being pressured into buying anything. Once we decided to purchase the vehicle, again Scott showed us all the options without pressure and helped go through different pricing scenarios so we could make the best decision for us. Bill and Jr in the service department have serviced 4 different cars of mine over the past 6 years and their fantastic service has made me and will keep me a loyal customer. They go above and beyond for their customers. Because of this awesome experience with the service department, I have since bought my second car through this dealership, the most recent, a 2016 Tucson was bought yesterday from Chris M. He is perhaps the best salesman I have had the pleasure of dealing with when it comes to cars. He was knowledgable, personable, patient and funny. He followed through with everything he said and was just a joy to work with. Cody in financing is another asset to the company. He was friendly, patient with my indecisiveness and most importantly, I didn't feel like I was just a sales number. The whole team was great with my three young children, who were bored out of their minds. As a mother, it made me feel more comfortable knowing my children weren't treated as burdens, even after being there for hours. All in all, I highly recommend this dealership. I won't go anywhere else for service or purchasing vehicles.

Swope was amazing whenever I went in to trade in my car to get a new one. From the second I pulled up Errond was there with a smiling face to greet me. I told him which car I was interested in and he knew exactly which one I was talking about. This was the first time going into a car dealership by myself and I was pretty nervous about it, but Errond didn't make me feel pressured into rushing into anything. Service is excellent. Salesman Chis Featherstone was very helpful. If buying a car, do some research and know how much you are willing to pay. The GM kept going back and forth with prices until I had to leave. Then they contacted me and brought the price down to what I asked for..haggling, hate it, but everyone is trying to make (or for me, keep) money.

Bought a car here and expressed our interest in tinting the car and told us that our warranty would be voided due to that matter. "Magnuson and Moss law" After vehicle was purchased CS experience was terrible! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL! Would have given a 1 star but the Hyundai Sonata model that we purchased did surprise me of my expectations. So if you are in the market and your leaning towards Hyundai then I would suggest a different dealership .
It was a typical Thursday. I had driven from Florida to visit my sister in Grayson County. We were headed out on an adventure and my car started making strange noises. We did a quick internet search and found the Hyundai dealership in Etown. From the minute we walked through the door, we were in capable hands. The service department was helpful and introduced us to other members of the Swope team. I had been doing casual searches for a newer Tucson (my Tucson had over 100,000 miles). A few hours later I had become the owner of a new Tucson. The team worked together to match my needs with the perfect Hyundai for me. The general manager, Mr Santiago, worked with the team to ensure the deal was a go. I have purchased many cars in the past but have never worked with a dealership with such ease. A big thank you to Andy. He was the glue that put everything together. (You have to check out his hat collection). The employees at this dealership really are a family and worked together to make sure my many travels would be safe and enjoyable in a reliable, safe, and sweet ride! I called my sister in Florida to tell her about my great deal and she was shocked that I could buy a car outside of my immediate area. I am glad I stopped at this dealership rather than risking a long drive home to Florida in a unreliable car — without any assurance of finding the one car for me once I arrived in Florida. My typical Thursday turned into a great day and extremely satisfying experience. The Swope family can be very proud of this team and the way they care for their customers’ needs. The Staff at Swope Hyundai is wonderful. They give you time to look around. I told the General Manager Ray Santiago and my Salesman Brett Stone what I was looking for and my price range. I also wanted something great on gas and something perfect for a college student. He even asked me if he could text me if he found something. He found us the perfect car. It even has a huge trunk space which all college students need. I even asked them to keep a look out for something for my other son. Mr. Santiago has not only sold us our vehicles but my parents too. If your looking for a Car Dealership that treats you like family and listens to you. A place where you can depend on getting a reliable car. Then you have found the place.
Stereotypical sleazy used car experience (even though we were buying new) - they were more interested in playing games. Can honestly say will NEVER buy a car from them. They lost a sale over less than $1000 which they called back the next day and could "magically" make happen. No Thanks - No deal! Played games and wasted my time. Happy to take my 40k elsewhere.
Service center was horrible. Did not even listen to how I described the issue I was having even after I told the technician and had to fill it out on paper. They test drove it for just a few mins, not even remotely close to the conditions I described and told me they didnt feel anything so I was good to go. Not even 5 mins down the road, SAME ISSUE! Not sure what the point of having a warranty is if you can not even use it when something is wrong?! EXTREMELY disappointing that my car is having a serious issue where it wobbles so bad it feels as if the wheel is going to fall off yet they just sent me on my way to drive myself & my 1 year old around every day.
I bought a new Sonata from Swope in November 2016. It included 4 free oil changes with tire rotation. The first service was done in February and the second was performed in June. After the June service, I was told that the oil change and tire rotation were both completed and I had to sign a receipt stating as such. Immediately after leaving the dealer, I realized the tire rotation had not been done. I went back to the dealer where the service tech said he thought the front looked better, so he didn't really rotate the tires. I find it unacceptable that a dealer lie about performing a service. I pointed out that one of the lug nuts was sticking out further on the rear, so they agreed to look at it. Upon further inspection, they found that the tech had cross threaded the lug nut in February. They tried to get it off, but it broke the stud loose from the hub. It was impossible to remove the wheel. It had been that way for three months. If I hadn't caught it myself, it would have been that way another three months. Basically, my car left their service center twice in this condition. If I had a flat tire during this time, there would have been no way to change it. To fix it, they had to use a hammer and chisel to break the stud. Now my wheel has several scratches and gouges in it. I'll never be back to this dealer again. They are either dishonest or incompetent.

On Friday the 15th my wife and I came in to meet with Chris Featherspoon who I had been corresponding with about the purchase of a new car. I had an appointment for 9:30 A..M. but he was nowhere to be found? But Stephanie stepped up to the plate and helped us out. I will never go back to this place again, the people I dealt with were nice, but lied right through their teeth. The car I was looking at, I was told the only thing that is wrong with the car is high mileage and that was a lie. It was only a month after buying the car that it started to break down on me, I took it to a shop and they told me all these issues (oil chamber busted in completely, axels on passengers side bent to the point the mechanic called it a safety hazard, back tire struts were rusted so bad that one tiny bump in the road broke them, intake gasket was bad, both O2 sensors were bad, and etc). I have fixed all those issues which cost me over $1,000 and now I have am having even more issues to the point my car can't even make it down the road for more than 5 minutes without breaking down ( EGR valve and O2 sensors both went out and I need a new sway bar) and my car won't even stay running if I put the brake on. I am only a college student trying to get back n forth from home to school, I don't make a lot of money and I have to go and get another car because they ripped me off so badly. I will never do business with these people ever again. If I could give any lower then 1 star I would. I have only had this car a year, its really disappointing and swope hyundai should be very shamed.

Relatively nice people, never had any issues with the customer service. However if you buy a used vehicle that isn't what they normally sell don't expect exceptional service for it here, not their mechanics fault they just aren't used to dealing with Mini Coopers.

Joe simoneit should be fired or pushing a broom. Bought a Lexus from them after taking back the first car we pick due to terrible vibration under the hood. We took it in oh and they fixed it. The power steering pump was out. Well I am a son of an airplane mechanic so I was driven to know mechanics. It didn't fix anything so we decided to go with the Lexus long story short they had put wrong size tire on front was rubbing took back. That tire was bad and wore out but they move it to the back. After that and many other problems we notice vibrations in the brakes. Called Joe boy and he gave me the most ignorant excuse. Well when your driving down the road your rotors get hot then when it rains its cools them off causing them to warp. Well I'll explain real quick rotors only raise in temp when u brake. If not every car on the road would have warped rotors. Common sense which little Joe has none of. IF a real ASE Inspection was done rotors would have been notice. Salesman Lie and a insult to my intelligence. Dont go to Hyundai swope terrible management and service is a joke.
