Having just purchase a $45,000 vehicle, I was not at all happy about the missing entertainment center headphones & remote and key fob. When I purchased the truck, those things weren't disclosed and when I did realized it, after signing the papers, I was told a fob would be only about $130 - it was OVER $300, I was given some headphones (thank you), but not offered a remote (that's an additional hundred+ dollars). I find it absurd and RIDICULOUS that a 2016, $45000 truck with only 7000 miles would be missing those things. What's worse was the way those things were just brushed over/ignored by long-time Chevy salespeople and managers - that knew about the shortcomings. A 'We OWE' should have been issued and I shouldn't have been mislead to believe it was a minor expense. Sadly, that's the story I'm sharing with friends, not that the... Service Department did a great job setting up the key fob and getting me in and out quickly.

My initial issue with my car was addressed and fixed, however when I picked up my car my front parking sensors where pushed inside my bumper and missing. When I received a call from the service rep she explained that the clips that held my sensors in place were missing which caused issues with putting them back. She stated that due to time constraints that was the best they could do. I would have appreciated being told this beforehand rather than discovering it myself. I also would have liked to be offered some kind of solution on how it could have been addressed and fixed rather than basically being told that it is just the way it is. Its frustrating because now that's a feature of my car that cannot even be used since the sensor is pushed inside my front bumper my seat is constantly vibrating and the sensor is going off. I now have to manually turn off the parking sensors each time I start my car which is very frustrating. I would have simply liked to been informed of this issue and offered a solution, even if it cost me additional money to fix I would have been more than happy to pay it. Now at this point I will have to take it so another dealership to address and fix.

This is the place to go if you need a car. Everyone I dealt with was super nice and personal. They treated me like an old friend. Justin my car salesman couldn't have been better. He was super friendly and has even helped me when I was looking to add some additional things to the car. Purchased a 2013 Chevy equinox I put around 1200-1300 miles on it only had it around 2 months when it began making a rattle noise upon acceleration turns out it was low on oil, which they supposedly did a new oil change right before I left with it, then a few days later without warning it wanted stall when i was leaving work up in Louisville, I got about half way home back to Bardstown when the check engine light came on, no sooner I pulled into the dealership it died as soon as I put it in park. I paid close to 400.00 for this repair, and have had it back 2 weeks and guess what its having very similar issues again, won't know the prognosis until Thursday, they can't get it in till then and it's Monday now and I have to figure out how to rearrange my work schedule and borrow a vehicle from someone. I am extremely angry whether it's the same problem (Which exhaust problems were the last one) or as they say could be something else, I am a single mom and have a kid to take care of, money is tight. VERY DISAPPOINTED THIS IS NOT FAMILY IN ANYWAY, feel like I was sold a lemon and they don't care

I had my oil changed and my tires rotated along with a new set of wipers put on. The passenger side air bag light was on (again), so I had them check that as well. This was the third time it had been checked. The wires had to be soldered before and the technician said they had come loose and needed to be soldered again! I drove it two days and the light is on again :-( I don't have time to keep going back to the dealership for this repair to be done over and over again. Plus, they left off one of my valve stem covers. This happens almost every time they change the oil. I had to buy new valve stem covers.

Bought my first car from them maybe a year ago. The women I was dealing with was very impolite and somewhat disrespectful toward me. The car I bought seemed great and was said to be in near perfect condition, and because of this they were not willing to negotiate on price very much. After driving the car for maybe a month tons of problem started to pop up. This dealership blatantly lied about the condition this car was in, and took advantage of a first time buyer. All in all this dealership along with the people employed by them are dishonest, and far from being “family” oriented. My advice; do not give these people your money. You will have a much better experience at almost any other dealership in the surrounding areas.

Best Service dept. in the Franklin Family! We bought our van used at the Somerset location and have to get maintenance done at a Don Franklin service center. I've been to the London, Campbellsville, and Bardstown locations! Melissa at the service desk in Bardstown is wonderful!! Very friendly and eager to please! The waiting room and restrooms are awesome too!! I won't go to any another location now!

My son went into this dealership today to test drive a vehicle. He is a young man, only 19 years old but has worked since he was 15. He is currently an Independent Catastrophe Insurance Adjuster grossing about 4200.00 a week (probably more than the rude car salesman who wouldn’t help him) He had a down payment, established credit and if needed a co-signer. The older gentleman that he talked to was rude and stated that he wasn’t even going to waste his time taking my sons application or running his credit. My husband and I (in our younger years) have also ran into people at dealerships who were disrespectful and treated us this way due to our age even though my husband has always had a good job and could buy us whatever we wanted. It seems ridiculous in this day and age that your employees would be allowed to treat people this way. Your company should really explain to their employees that just because someone is young doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t be treated with respect. The vehicle my son was going to trade in is in my name and I can guarantee that I will not sign it over for him to buy a vehicle from your car lot. So you can thank your employee for losing out on the sale of a 42,000.00 truck.

This is by far the most professional and courteous treatment I have ever received when buying a car. My calls were promptly returned, the buying process was quick with ZERO pressure and I got exactly what I wanted, and they worked hard to get it within my budget. I can't recommend Tanya enough. The entire staff was wonderful, from the manager to the receptionist and finance administrator. When this SUV has met it's life span, I will definitely return for my next car to Don Franklin in Bardstown.

Have had nothing but problems since I bought my car from them three years ago. My alternator just went out and they priced a new one at $350, plus the maintenance and NOT free diagnostic ($100) it was going to cost me well over $600. I can buy the alternator cheaper, get a free diagnostic, and have my FIL fix it (free labor). Every time I go for a oil change it takes them AT LEAST 2 hrs and that’s with an appointment. I had people tell me they couldn't trust them, and I didn’t listen. Now I’m paying for it. Never again will we purchase a vehicle from Don Franklin and I will make sure everyone knows my opinion. The only good thing is the service department has always been nice.

We were in the market to replace one of our vehicles and I had been watching the Franklin dealerships website. I stopped in and met with Frank Webb about a month ago and discussed they type of vehicle we were looking for. We touched base on a weekly basis. I saw a vehicle that matched up to what were were looking for last week, but it was at the Somerset dealership. I reached out to Frank and he had the vehicle in Bardstown later that afternoon. Frank and all of the staff that we met made the acquisition process simple and painless. Great dealership with folks dedicated to making sure you are a satisfied customer. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a car. Ask for Frank. You will not be disappointed!

Went there for an appointment they set up with tires they ordered. When I got there they informed me that they didn't have the ability to mount and balance the tires. Wow!! Then on top of that, the tires they ordered for my vehicle weren't the right ones. So they sell a car they couldn't service. Huh!!

The service manager is HORRIBLE...... Yes, Lee you are not very professional and knowledgeable in customer support or what it takes to provide service. I'm assuming you probably landed your job through family. It's a shame Chevrolet allows the service/parts dept to wear the logo, total incompetence. To you potential customers you'd be better off finding a more professional service/parts department to work on your vehicle than this circus,... you all have been warned.... Funny thing is they just spent thousands on remodeling the entire lot, all they need now is to clean house and start all over, or perhaps provide some training and have "0" tolerance. No experience with sales dept.

I bought a 2015 Tahoe from Franklin Family. The quality of the vehicle along with price was exceptional compared to other dealers. Other dealers lacked in price/quality and most of the time lacked in both areas. This is my 4th purchase from a dealer and my husband and I agree that we got a lot of "extras" compared to other dealerships. I took my 12, 10, and 6.5 month old with me and we waited for several hours only because my husband was working and needed to sign papers also. Harley and Chad were exceptional. They weren't rude and didn't give off the annoyed vibe that many have. They held conversation with my older children and would talk to the baby if she got whiney. Harley even helped make sure she was buckled in good and help with getting her out when I did a test drive. I am thrilled with my purchase and because of our experience we will buy from them in the future. And we highly recommend Harley and Chad at Franklin Family so check them out!

We had our car towed there due to a bad computer. To be on the safe side we choose to have them run a diagnostic ($100). To install the computer and program it was supposed to be $150+ 100 for the diagnostic should have been $250. They called us and told us the computer was bad but before the part go in they called us back and told us the bcm was bad not the computer they had the part for only $10 more so we said go ahead and fix it. Now we have 2 children under 3. The same day they called us back and told us the computer was also bad. Now were looking at $1000 bill and they have had our almost 2 weeks. Was supposed to be done friday. Friday afternoon no one would answer the phone so after going up there we were informed their machenic left and our car would not be done until monday.. We know we have been screwed but their the only gm dealership we have here. So dissapointed. Next time it will go to elizabethtown.

Where to begin..... My trade? They gave me more than ANY other dealer. I visited 5 different stores, and they started at a higher level than anyone. Off the bat, I knew they weren't there to take advantage of me. My vehicle of choice? Ready, on the lot, cleaned up, fueled up, ready for a test drive. Truck was exactly as described. Low mileage, clean all around. Price was better than the next comparable within 500+ miles. Autotrader had NOTHING that could touch it for year/miles. My salesmen? Josh went above and beyond. Steven set my appointment, and when I arrived on Saturday they were swamped with walk in clients. They handled the traffic perfectly, and still made me feel welcome and relaxed. My financing experience? A+ Service. Extended warranty was an amazing price, and the entire management team was stellar. Overall, 5 stars doesn't cover the amount of service I received. I can't wait to refer everyone to the Don Franklin team. This isn't a paid advertisement, nor was I asked to report back on google. The staff was very polite but I knew what was wrong with my Acadia. They didn't listen and replaced a $200 part unnecessarily. It didn't fix the problem and my vehicle died on the way home and stranded me in an intersection in 90+ degree weather. It was a $1270 repair but I had it done somewhere else.
