Horrendous. Spare yourself; just pay whatever the difference is and work with a professional company. I left my husband with our toddler and bags downstairs so we didn’t have to haul everything upstairs-big mistake. What should have been 10 minutes or less took OVER AN HOUR. After waiting close to thirty minutes, I asked if there was someone else who could come out and assist customers since there were eight people in line, not counting the two currently at the counter. I was told they needed to answer all the customers’ questions-um, that’s not what I said. So I repeated my request: MORE agents to help since the line was so long. They don’t have any other computers I was told. That’s funny, there’s a third computer sitting on their counter...ok. I’m next in line, so I pull out my license and credit card, and have my reservation pulled up on my phone. I hand them to the agent as I walk up, and she asks me to “step back.” ?!#%?!? This is going well. She’s doing whatever she’s doing, and as the customer next to me walks away, I said to him, “Enjoy your wedding!” (We had chatted during our 40-minute wait.). The agent says to me, “Do you want to go somewhere else???” I said, “Excuse me?” She said, “oh, I thought you said you wanted to go somewhere else.” Heaven help me... If I could have, I would have cancelled our reservation and never looked back. Save yourself the “deal;” it’s not worth it at this cost.

Check in process was fine - Nice, personable women who were well organized. The vehicle had visible damage, a somewhat malfunctioning driver's door, and apparently slightly flat 2 tires. The car inspection woman had no interest whatsoever in helping us fix the door (a wrench could have done it in 30 seconds) or assess the tire pressure. This was very underwhelming.

Not worth the money you save booking with them. Stick with the professionals: Enterprise, Avis, Hertz, Budget and National. Very unorganized and slow. Look at all the one star reviews! That says a lot about the customer experience. Just checking back in on the review 30 mins after writing the initial review... still 4 people ahead of me in line. This is unacceptable. I want a full refund for wasting 1.5 of my life making me wait in line.

We recently rented a car in Salt Lake City for noon. We,family of four, arrived about one and half hour early. They already had the car ready but they had us sit and waited until 12 to give us the key. The customer service was so rude. We complained a little about it. She talked some bad stuff in front of other customers. Such a bad experience with this e z rent a car.

The customer service I received from Janet and Barbara was horrible. This was not a ez process. Please make sure you bring your patience. There was no car ready for me. The overall experience was not pleasant. I will never rent from them again. I travel from Atlanta to this area about 3 or 4 times a year and they have lost my business.

The experience was not good. First we were told to purchase a toll pass, we did not need; then we receive a sheet with a diagram of the car and it was called the pre-rental inspection form. last we need a car with a GPS to help us get where we were going which did not have none. I was force to use my cell phone which died before we reach our destination. we struggle to find our way because we were from out of towm visit a sick family member;because there was NO name of the company EZ on the form, NO name of the reprentative, no a phone number .We rental for three days. July22 throu July 25. When we return the car, the reprentative who was a young lady directed us to pull the car in. There was one car infront,then our car and at least two othercars behind our to be check in. We got out and started to remove our belong from the car and my husband was checking in the car. He ask the representive was everything clear, She said yes, and we preceed to leave never once did she say where is the keys or please make sure you leave the keys because there will be fine. she respond yes, your fine only to find out my husband for got to leave the keys. EZ Advantage sent an email or text to my son phone telling him of the issue, because he was the person who rented the car for us, by then, we had already taken the shuttle from the rental area to the Boston airport. Our flight was 7:37am that morning to Baltimore and then to MytleBeach,S.C. My husand start to go back but the airline representative said if the plane come earlier than was stated, he would miss he flight. So he stayed.In the meanwhile,We tried to contact EZ Advantage car rental as to them sending someone over to pickup the keys or if we could leave the keys with some at the airport. To no avail, there was only a 1 800 number to call and you were only able to reach the voice mail for EZ Advantage rental Then I call my son in the meantime, he was calling me. So he was able to reach someone and talk to them. They told him the keys needed to be back in 24 hours or we would be charge $250.00 He stated to them the keys wouldbe back in three days or less and to make a not of it. The very next day, I sent the keys back only to find out they had already debt the credit card for $250,27 There reason for the extra charge was the car was blocking the entrace for other car to come in, BUT THAT WAS NOT TRUE othe car could move through because the cars that was being return was park on one side to be checked and there was more than enough space for other cars to proceed,My complaint is that there was no one to speak with about my issues at the time of the matter and their was know paper working given telling us about the keys and the fee upfront.The only paper work was the diagram of the pre-rental inspection we receive from the representive no phone no. or the representative name. We were frustrated when we saw we were charge after sending the keys back after, my son had spoken with someone on the phone. I feel there should have been a drop box or representive at the airport that you could leave the keys or given the keys to someone there. I feel this could be a scam to make more money from people who travel. This method give no option for you to reach anyone. They need to review pre-rental document and change some thing on it, because if they do not, they will continue to have unhappy customers. Sylvia

Don't leave the key and go during the car return even if the service person says you to do so. What happened to me was that the return time was recorded as 4 hours later than the accrual and one day extra was charged..... Okay mistakes happen. I called the customer service to fix the return time and asked for the refund. However the EZ Rent-A-Car refused to make the refund. They just offerred me 20% voucher as a compensation.

I would rate my pick up of my rental and agent with a 5+ but the drop off was problematic because of my age and condition and inability to manage my 1 bag to check. The agent at pick up personally carried my bag to my car before I could even walk there without a bag. At drop off, the agent made me walk to the shuttle area to try to find someone to go back and pick up my bag. If there were walk-in talkies to call for help it would have saved me a lot of walking. The assistant who came back to the car with me was most gracious and helpful and put my bag on the bus. He WAS NOT an EZ employee. Also it would help if out of State travelers were told about needing a transponder to avoid $25 toll charges as happens in MA.

Worst Car Rental & Service Possible I made the reservation online and went up to get my car. Upon arrival the man there says he isn't allowed to give me the SUV I had already pre-paid for because of some law the company has in MA - that I would have to rent a Minivan, for an extra $30. First time I hear this and WHAT? Then he proceeds to say that I needed to provide proof of my car insurance - which I wasn't able to get on the spot, given it was a Holiday and the company wasn't working and I couldn't get my account online. He left me without a car nor help for me to pick up my family in NYC who just made it from Puerto Rico after enduring the humanitarian crisis going on. If I could give 0 stars to this company and make sure no one else rents from them, I will be satisfied. He dismissed me to the side, poor customer service and didn't even say an apology. When I approached him since I had already pre-paid my rental, he said "you can call your agency and take it up with them". Trust that if you rent with EZ, you will be on your own and their customer service is next to inexistent. Good luck mediocre company. I was able to find a car on the spot with Enterprise, for a lower cost and zero problems.

The worst car rental ever, after waiting in line for 2 hrs then getting to the counter to realize the car that I have reserved wasn’t available and getting put into a similar “style” I get to the car to find it was filthy. Now I get a bill for the ez pass for 165.00 for 15$ worth of tolls even after I request the ez pass to be in the contract. Mind you this is Boston, and there is no longer toll booths and you have no choice to use the ez pass. This was all done though Priceline. What a mistake, I will never use either of these companies again! Very poor Business practices.

Use this fly-by-night company at you own risk! I rented a car using this company from Boston Logan Airport and they didn’t have any cars available! My wife and I (and countless other frustrated customers) waited for hours in the middle of the night after a long flight for a car. Worst car rental experience ever!

*beware*: the co has this policy which is not very obvious (hidden?) when you reserve a car online which states that you are not eligible for unlimited miles rate if you are living within 65 miles of pickup station. For unlimited I was charged 20$ extra a day. The car which was given to me was scratched and dented in a front and on the back. Will never rent from this company again.

Their customer service in Las Vegas is horrible. Their 1800 number customer service is worse! The vehicle we rented had to be returned because the engine service light turned on (this meant they probably don’t do regular maintenance on their vehicles, come on it’s a 2018 Sedona) The company could not provide a vehicle for all of us and were very rude about it telling us there was nothing he could do for us. We wasted part of our vacation just trying to get them to help us with this issue. Upon our arrival back home I get an email stating that we owe $100 more because they think the car was returned at 6am when they told us it was okay to return it by 11:59 with an hour grace period. I’m so upset and would sincerely advice you to look for another vehicle rental company!!!!!!

When I arrived in Boston Logan Airport, despite having a reservation months in advance, I was told they were out of cars. It was about 11 pm at this point and it looked like we'd be stranded. After waiting for about an hour they some how came up with a car for us to rent, it wasn't the one we reserved but that was okay. The car was nice and worked great, return was easy. However it's been almost two months now and I'm still getting random charges on my credit card from this company.

At pickup, the attendant tried to trick me into upgrading to a larger car by offering a “manager’s special” which I declined. Turns out there were only larger cars left, so I got the upgrade for free. I also wasn’t told if I prepaid for gas, it wouldn’t be prorated, so I ended up paying for an entire tank of gas instead of the 1/4 tank I actually used. Shady all around.

Be forewarned: Even if you rent through priceline, expedia, travelocity etc this counter does not honor and will not honor all 3rd party rental agreements including unlimited mileage, size or class. I Rented through priceline, called the company (EZ) and confirmed my reservation. Yet when I got to the counter I was told that this office refuses to honor priceline to anybody with an in state drivers license. After getting a priceline representative, then supervisor then manager on the phone to talk with the EZ shift manager he still refused to rent any car to me at their listed price.. But I could pay 3X as much to rent the same car. After 20 min of listening to the priceline gentlemen and the power tripping EZ manager argue. I was told by priceline that they could cancle my reservation and book me with National in the same size car for the same price. I would not rent again with EZ, its not worth the headache or frustration of having to deal with such a company.

This was the worst experience of our vacation. We landed in Miami, where every person we spoke with were unable to answer our questions. We had to file a claim for damage to the car that our rental insurance apparently did not cover. They could not provide me with a copy of my claim paperwork because they did not have a photocopier and asked me to take a photo on my phone if I wanted a copy of my car claim. When we called halfway through our vacation to file a claim over the phone and get information, we received a voicemail TWICE and never got a call back from leaving two voicemails. This was a truly awful experience and tainted our vacation plans.

Avoid this place at all costs. It's an obscure, lower-caliber rental service for a reason. I've been renting cars for 3 years because I travel every week for work. This happens for weeks at a time in multiple cities. I've had the pleasure of building relationships with companies over the years that show their appreciation in multiple ways for being a loyal business customer. Unfortunately, this location has proven to not truly care about their customers or their loyalty. A few of the employees and one of the managers had gotten to know me since I was renting EVERY WEEK as a loyal client. But when I spoke with two young ladies on a Thursday afternoon and asked them to continue what the other employees were allowing me to do - Angela and I can't remember the other's name - they were rude and acted like I was a criminal off the street. They got their boss, Todd on the phone was even more rude. He was cutting me off and raising his voice about their policies without letting me get a word in. He didn't seem to care one bit that I had spent THOUSANDS over a period of months. Working in management/customer service myself, I know that's NOT a good look and doesn't lead to longevity or cash flow in a business. This is NOT how you treat business customers. I hate to write this because the gentlemen that work the night shift are fantastic; but I'd encourage them to go work for a legitimate rental car company that has an ACTUAL loyalty program and cares about people who give them their hard-earned money.

1 star is minimum option I can give. They even do not deserve that. I had never seen that much rude staff in any rental company before. Super rude. Even I tried to talk with their supervisor, no way. Also they tried to cheat. I made reservation online and my total price was clear on reservation. They said, because I live in Nashville, they wanted me to pay $20 per day more.

A car was rented for a week. Mid week we had to swap it out twice (Even before we left the lot). The day of return the car lock on key wasn’t working so we couldn’t properly lock the car. Then the manager had to nerve to ask why every car we took out had an issue. Well maybe if the team thoroughly checked the cars we wouldn’t have bring to their attention the car they rented us was not probably working. I guess you get what you pay for. Our plain was late 3 hrs, we called to inform them and they said their was a $40.00 late pick up fee, the car was dirty and had damage, so be very careful to look the vehicle over and make sure its reflected on the inspection, as they did not go out with us to look the vehicle over, I had to go back in the tell them to correct the information. Also a very hard sell, and frankly misleading in my opinion on the toll booths, so they could charge you the extra $19.00 day. I also had proof of insurance and coverage letter from Credit card co but that wasn't enough, I had to call my co's claim dept to confirm coverage.

Horrible experience. We had to wait for a shuttle bus for 30 minutes when the bus driver was there and denied us entrance. We had to wait for him to come back around, 20 minutes later. Finally get to the rental car facility. We had reserved a car and are told they only had a mini van. The attendant was rude and when we asked about the car we rented he said it's the van or you can wait and hour and I know you don't want to do that. We get in the van, it's dirty and has a broken key. We go inside looking to speak with someone and are told to go find their manager. The manger did help us find a new vehicle. The staff is not helpful and we wasted over an hour trying to get a car

One of the most unprofessional service I ever had to deal with. The queue was ridiculously long and the staff thought that it was appropriate to chat and take it easy. I came for 2 days to visit a new city and spent half a day waiting to get my car, while the staff was enjoying a laid back service. I even made clear eye contact with a man who was checking in and didn’t even bother to stop laughing and get to work. This is in SF. Next time I’ll use another company 100%

Buyer beware. This place makes every attempt to scam you. tells you gas is only $2.22 if you buy it from them but they charge you for a full tank no matter what. They don't clean the windows so you cant see the little chips then try to charge you for a windshield. Tried offering us an upgrade for $10 a day more and gave it for free to the guy next to us because we got the last of that size. The car was fine, just be smarter than them.

After a long flight my husband waited an additional 2 hours to rent a car. They told him about a possible upgrade, he listened and said it was a good deal, the clerk ran it on his card without signing anything or agreeing. When my husband asked for a refund he was told it would be refunded when he returned the car. Poor customer service.

What a HORRIBLE experience. Anything BUT easy. We rented a car for work, when we arrived to pick up the car at the airport no one was at the desk to greet any customers. As we wandered around someone finally approached us and YELLED at us for bothering him. He then told us that we couldn't rent the car and his explanation for not allowing it (we even bought the insurance and are a licensed driver) was to "google it" . Rude? YES. After we begged him to let us rent the car he told us to leave and ended up renting a car in minutes with a brand name rental service. This place is a joke. The EZ of renting the car. The girl at the counter was very helpful. Thats where it ended. I made reservation through Orbitz never again... I asked for a mini van like Odyssey with navigation. When I got to the airport they had no mini vans with nav and in order to get Nav i needed to upgrade to SUV. that was 120.00. I heard on the shuttle bus about tolls not being able to be paid in cash so now I needed an easy toll 30.00.. Once I left the counter I spent over an hour in the lot with 2 lot attendants trying to get the Navigation to work. They were not able to help. I then realized I had to load an app on my phone just to get it to work. The screen never stayed on and required constant touching to get it to come back up. The vehicle had a couple of other hiccups that I made the lot attendant aware of but he was so busy trying to park cars that I dont think he wrote anything down. So I called this afternoon and relayed everything to the 800 Number for Boston just to make sure they were aware of the issues with the car.. I was not offered any compensation for my trouble. Not very good customer service... My original rental quote was about 350.00 This cost me 670.00. Big difference

Just rented from E-Z at Boston Logan. Was in town for a funeral and communicated that information to the rental agent. She continued to sell us the prepay fuel option saying that the price for the prepay was much cheaper than the price of gas at the airport gas station (which it is) but failed to mention that when you prepay you are paying to purchase a full tank and not just the amount you use. We drove 70 miles. We picked up the car with a full tank and returned the car with 90% full tank even though the return agent marked is as returning on empty which would be impossible only driving 70 miles. We were charged the prepay option of $46 to refuel an entire tank when we only used 2-3 gallons. Of course “customer service” can’t help with this because you sign all the fine print up front in a stressful situation. Would never rent from them again and lesson learned about prepay.

DO NOT RENT HERE!! I made a point of asking the sales rep. whether or not I should extend my rental period by a few hours, because I was likely to be a little late returning the vehicle. She reassured me that I would have a two-hour grace period, and not to worry. Well, I returned the vehicle in good condition an hour and thirty-eight minutes after I was scheduled to return. I was not only charged for an extra day, but customer service told me to contact Priceline if I had any issues, even though they have nothing to do with the charge. Terrible company. Terrible service. If I could give them a zero star review, I wouldn't hesitate to do so.

I pre-booked my car online for a week like I have many times before. Online it says there is unlimited mileage with the rental but when I went to pick up my vehicle the guy there wanted $.055 per mile and told me that they NEVER offer unlimited mileage with their rental cars. I refused to take a vehicle and pay that much when I am already paying $300 for the week and they still wanted a damage deposit of $200 + the additional 55 cent per mile charge. That is ridiculous. Then when I went online to reserve another car, the same company kept coming up in my search with unlimited mileage. Advantage / E-Z rentals is a rip-off.

We arrived late (around 2 am) and waited an hour to get our car. There were only 2 people in front of us. The woman who was being helped was on hold with the EZ rental car customer service for over half an hour while we all waited behind her. When the woman in front of us asked if the woman in the booth could help us while she was on hold the woman rudely said "no". When we finally go to the front of the line the woman was extremely unhelpful and rude and acted like we were inconveniencing her. My fiance's card was declined and when we asked if we could switch the driver on the reservation (so we could use my card) she told us she would have to completely cancel the reservation and we would lose the car and have to call the customer service line to re-book, but she couldn't guarantee that we'd still have a car because they were sold out (even though one of those cars was ours). Even if that is the company policy (which I have never experienced at any other rental car company), she was EXTREMELY rude and unbelievably unhelpful at every turn. I understand it is 3am and you are tired, but so were we and a little customer service goes a long way.

Beware!!!!! Charging for pre-existing mechanical damage. We rented a car but they couldn't find it when we arrived. They gave us an "upgrade" vehicle but when we got in the car it was filthy with mud and had damage to hood and side. We thought it was weird so called the attendant over and he marked it on the sheet. When we drove on the freeway to Santa Fe, 2 days later, the car shook violently and the tire light came on. It was terrifying! We filled the tire with air but the problem persisted but at this point we were in Santa Fe. We could not drive over 60 miles per hour and it felt very dangerous. We called to notify E-Z and they told us to return car to Albuquerque. The next day we were flying out of ABQ so returned the car then upon our return, hours early. We let the woman that something was wrong with this car when we received it and she was nice enough to give us a refund. Today, we get a call that they are filling a claim against us for damages because there was mud caked in the wheel wells. This place is not trustworthy! I wish I could upload the video I took of the car shaking violently. It's insane E-Z would rent a vehicle without a proper inspection!

The worst service ever , I have never experienced something similar any other company. Nashville Airport, they were 30 min late, couldn't find anyone for half an hour, I booked my car on line, at the counter they have surprised me with the amount I had to pay... $350 extra..."refundable deposit " for the extra mileage I "might" use.... $700 dollars at the counter instead of $250 as it says on the papers from booking on line, which she didn't even looked at and said I had to read a fine print somewhere.... you guys are the worst ever! It took one hour for me to get the car and finally leave , and hope they will refund $350 later when I return the car. Never rent there, I think any other company will work much better and I used a few... never had experience something similar.... why decided to try something new ????I regret it now....

Do like waiting 20 minutes as one customer ties up the line because he can't find his reservation email and the clerk won't ask him to step aside? I called the day of my flight (Thursday) to make sure my car would be ready because my reservation (made by a 3rd party) showed that I would need my car at 12 p.m., despite my coming in at 12:00 a.m. on Friday, . The lady I spoke with said it was going to be fine and the car would be ready. When I arrived at the car rental center, there were two people working. One was having to run back and forth to unprepared cars because they did not have enough cars for the number of people who were waiting for cars. Part of the problem was my own reservation which I had called to check on. It took over an hour and a half to get my car. The girl working was either not fully trained or their system isn't good. The guy running back and forth was having to stop and help her. They were both surprised I had been told my car would be ready as the times were wrong and I should have been told it wouldn't be. Too bad it was their co-worker who told me it would be fine. Also, the girl running the computer kept talking about going to see her man and what she wanted to do when she saw him. She did tell me to initial a few places but didn't tell me what they were. At least the car was nice. The receipt I received after turning my car in was a shock, to say the least. I declined insurance which I was later charged for, they overestimated the amount of gas I used which cost an arm and a leg and no one told me there was a daily charge for the toll tag. I will never use this company again, I will be making a complaint to Priceline and I am lighting up every review place possible.

My first trip to N.E. I pick EZ rental there and the van has a ice block about 6 inch thick covering entire roof and vehicle is filthy, and the clerk was rude. I get 10 min down the road got pulled over for failure to remove ice at 2am .Also at check out I was asked if I wanted to rent a toll tag, since I was only going up to Maine watching my daughters graduation and parking for a week then returning to BOS airport I opted to just pay cash at tolls. They FAILED to inform me that I would not have option for cash in MA. And that i would pass 4 tolls just leaving airport tunnels total $7 ...PLUS $100 convenience fees each way...:(..WOW!.. Thanks a lot

Booked and got charged for a full size car and then provided a Hyundai elantra (compact car) and the service rep lied and said it was a full size. After getting paperwork, went to pick up the car and it was not ready yet. The employee working this station seemed to care less about helping out. The car was fine, the return process was easy, but it appears the agents are instructed to try to con you into paying more than you need to. 1) they said they would put us into a larger car than we asked for, but did not tell us it would be an extra $60 per day until they showed us the paper to sign. 2) they assume you will just want to pay for a full tank of gas when you return it. This is literally the worst company ive ever had the displeasure of doing business with. I was slammed with over $200 of fees that i was told at the time of rental i would not incur. I was then told i would be refunded the additonal fees. Six weeks later, after going back and forth with customer service and their third party fees company i was nothing but misguided and misinformed. Vantage car rental and EZ car rental have the same reps at Boston Logan Airports car rental location. The sales person for this rental car tried her hardest to up-sell me on the things I didn’t need. She made me purchase a fast pass at $10 per day saying from Boston to Worcester there are over 10 tolls and none accept cash! There were zero toll roads from Boston to Worcester! She further said that if I bring the car over 2 hours late, It will be cheaper just to rent it for an additional day as opposed to paying the hourly rate for the two hours. Both were obviously lies to get me to spend more money that I had to with the company! Don’t rent from this company.

I have rented through multiple car agencies and from multiple cities including Boston. Two things that I consider important is showing courtesy to customers and quick service. There was only one agent who took 20 minutes per customer as she was so slow. The other agent came after 1 hour and after standing an hour in the line with just 3 people ahead of me m, I finally went to pick my car. The guy did not even apologize for the wait. He did not care to explain the different charges or why am being changed so much. His behavior was as if he was doing a favor by talking. I wish I remember that F****’s name. When I booked the car on the internet, I was pretty sure the car was “unlimited miles”, because I was very concern about that. However, when I went to the counter, the clerk said I can only drive 60 miles per day, and if I want to drive more, I should pay another $20 per day to get unlimited miles. If it wasn’t for the incredibly nice woman working the front desk I would rate this place a zero. When you book online with a rental car company I think it’s fair to assume you would get unlimited mileage. After all it is a rental car right? I’ve rented from all of the major companies multiple times and never have I been told upon picking up my car that I would need to pay an additional $20/ day for any mileage over 250 miles. Second to that upon showing the woman my emailed confirmation where the very first line states it’s unlimited mileage, she advised me that it was my responsibility to read the user terms and conditions but as you can tell from the email photo it seems to me like I’m being taken advantage of. Poor way to do business and poor way to treat a first and last time customer. There was nothing EZ about renting a car and ultimately cost me added $160 to my bill.

Pickup in Jacksonville. Customer Rep was very pleasant and courteous. The checkout process was easy . The vehicle was new Kia Sorento. It was in great shape, clean and drove well (12,500 miles on it). Unfortunately the key fob did not work on either key, so we had to manually lock and unlock the vehicle. We also had to drop off in Orlando. Wasn't expecting the fee to be $250 for this option. It was airport to airport and the distance isn't that far. Drop off was easy as well and right next to the ticketing area at the MCO airport.

I picked this rental car company because they were located in the Terminal. As it turns out, most of the car rental agencies in Nashville are located in the Terminal. The rental itself went well. The guy at the counter was courteous. The person at the booth in the garage was okay. The car was the problem. It had not been cleaned. The exterior paint was black and it had bird poop on it. The interior smelled very perfume-y of cleaner but there were chewing gum wrappers in the console between the front seats. It also looked like someone had spilled soda pop on the console - sticky and shiny. The car worked fine for what I needed, but I think I'll stick with the other companies to assure a more consistent experience.

Never have I had such a terrible experience with any other car rental places. I would never recommend anyone to use advantage/E-z They assigned me a faulty vehicle which had three service lights come up on the dashboard, which began giving me trouble after only having it for 15 hours. I tried calling customer service for assistance, after trying to reach someone and being on hold for 30 minutes, I was finally able to reach someone. I did not feel safe driving it back to the return center. The person I talked to on the phone said I would be charged for towing fees If I did not drive it in on my own. In order to avoid additional charges I decided to bring it in. Once I was finally able to get back to the airport, the guy that was assisting me was extremely unprofessional and It is such that I have to take my own personal and vacation time to come deal with this situation. Wasting almost 4 hours of my life with a company that has terrible customer service.

Bait and Switch... Be careful with this company if you need to drive more than 200 miles in a day, they will charge huge fees. Even if your advertisements, Expedia reservation and confirmation emails state unlimited miles, it's just a lie. Go with Budget or Avis, they always have unlimited miles.

BE CAREFUL RENTING HERE. I rented a standard sized car for my boss who was working in Taos and also visiting a friend who is dying. When she picked up the car, the guy who processed her upgraded her car without telling her that he was upgrading the car and without saying that there would be extra charges (the rental had been paid for upfront online). Afterward, when we saw the final bill, they refused to refund the extra charges that were not authorized. This slimy company seems to want to reinforce its bait-and-switch policies and support its dishonest employees. Triple check everything--paperwork and car--if you decide to rent here.

Average 15 minutes to check out a customer. If there are 10 people in front of you (always is at least 10) expect to wait an hour or more in line to get your car. Not worth the $10 you might save.

I had good experience with EZ in the past, but my last experience was not so great .First the service was very slow it took me 30:00 min to be served ,with only two guest ahead of me, then when it was my turn i was told that the med SUV that i booked on line is not available and i was downgraded to Kia Rio LX , Very small car compare to what i booked.then i was told either to take it or look elsewhere.I was very disappointed,plus my baggage couldn't fit the small trunk.

Bait n switch don’t rent from them!!! Their policy is different then Travelocity terms. They will say it’s in the terms but it’s a lie! Go through the Travelocity terms and it’s not there. I read mine n showed it to the desk and the guy try’s to blame Travelocity!! Liars liars bait n switch!!! You show up and they add all these fees and try and blame it on third party. Pathetic-losers!! Walk over to budget and get a honest deal which is what I did. Don’t give these companies they hide under a blanket and use third party companies for business but don’t honor their terms. They also don’t do a military discount reason alone to not support them!!

I usually rent from a new place after checking the reviews thoroughly online. However, in this isolated incident I missed checking the reviews online because of a hurry and the result as expected was bittersweet. The staff seriously needs some customer service training or increase in wages (I don't blame them if they're paid ridiculously low wages). I rented online using priceline before visiting the place and got convinced into buying insurance on top of my original booking. This brought my total to a price which made the trade off between awesome customer service at Enterprise and saving a few dollars seem worthless. Keep in mind, they charge extraordinarily high penalties for refilling (around $9/gallon) or bringing the car late (1 hr penalty for 1-2 min late car).

WATCH OUT!! If you rent car from this location and you live within 65 miles of the location, you are not eligible for unlimited mileage. The policy will not be obvious to you when you rent a car and by the time you find out at the front desk, it’s most likely too late. I was charged an additional $60 ($20/day) for unlimited mileage, which I thought was crummy. The car tank was barely full when I left the lot too. I WILL NOT BE RENTING FROM THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!

It was my first time Renting here and they have some crazy rule about local renters having a mile limit and this is not mentioned online. I spoke with the rep at the front desk before getting the car and explained to her that my order online was for unlimited miles. She told me she would make sure I was not charged extra for any additional miles for my rental so I got the car. upon returning the car I get an additional $155 charge for extra miles. The manager says there's nothing she can do because that is their policy despite what her employee said to me at the time of pick up. I told the lady if she could not get me unlimited miles that I needed to cancel my reservation and I was assured I would not have to worry about it.

Not the best service and they try to upsell you on insurance coverage. They were very persistent and used scare tactics about paying for damage plus loss of rental to bully me into paying. I still declined and they said "you're making a mistake". If you can put up with that, the price was cheap!

Front desk rep was great. Car had strong odor, interior was not cleaned properly, multiple scratches on vehicle and a slight dent on passenger door. Cheaper doesn't equate to better.

vehicle had an unpleasant odor inside when picked up. staff misinforms you about toll roads in order to upsell you Toll Transponder service. very slow shuttle pick up service (waited at airport close to half an hour for shuttle) . when returning (at 5 am) same person accepting car return was the shuttle driver. Slow return process. will not rent from them again despite the low rates.

Rented a car out of Raleigh and when I arrived in Raleigh I had to wait for over an hour to get my car because they had 1 person working. I had 5 people on front of me. The lady who checked me on was very friendly and thanked me for my patience. She offered a free upgrade. I was supposed to be in a Kia Forte and was upgraded to a Toyota Camry. That would have been great except for the fact that the vehicle had red ants in it and the cruise control didn’t work. The gentleman who was checking my vehicle, when I returned told me to tell the manager about my experience and that I had been bit by a couple red ants, though I killed about 20. I proceeded inside and told the manager who offered nothing, barely even got an apology. He really just let me know that he would treat the car and make sure that it was ready to go for the next customer. He did thank me for telling him about the issues. I’m pretty easy to please and I do realize that stuff happens but I also work in a management position and it is always the goal to exceed the customers expectations so that they will hopefully return and be willing to share there good experiences with others. I would not recommend this rental car service. I saved about $10 to use this service instead of another one. I guess that in this case, you get what you pay for.

Nice staff. Great deal. EZ Rent wasn't on the road sign at the Raleigh Airoport with the other companies so it was confusing for my hotel shuttle driver to figure out where it was. It's to the left with the Advantsge company.

WORST. PLACE. EVER. First of all, my mom and I stood in line for nearly 1.5 hours, because there was only one person working behind the desk. Then, when we got to the front of the line, we were told that because we lived within 65 miles of this place, we were limited to only 250 miles for our entire trip here, and that if we wanted unlimited, then we would have to pay $20. So, we went ahead and paid the $20, because we were going on a trip to Asheville. We got our keys, and we went outside to look at the car, and the first car we looked at had a chocolate stain (I believe) in the back seat. So, I asked a person to come over and take a look at it, and they said to go back inside for a new car. So, we went back inside, and by that time the line had grown again. It felt wrong to go in front of everyone and ask for a new car, but we were in a rush, so we did that. The next car we looked at, had a broken rear wiper. We asked a person about it, and they said to take a picture and that they would sign our paper for it, as well. The entire process took nearly 2.5 hours, and the cars were terrible. Both had problems. I don't think they take care of their cars, so I would say to stay far away from this place! If you do get a car from here though, make sure to inspect EVERYTHING. Otherwise, it might cost you.

I rented a car for one day at Advantage. Not familiar with the area and not planning to have to use a toll road, I didn’t get the toll option, but I did prepay for gas, leaving about $30 worth in the tank upon return. Unfortunately, on my way back, I was unavoidably rerouted onto a toll road, and as you know, there is no way to pay the toll as you drive. When I called management to see if they would cover the $3.00 toll considering they would make an extra $27 on the excess fuel left in the car, Manager said that not only would they not cover the toll, it would charge an extra $15 fee. They wouldn’t even let me pay the toll on checkout. The default position is to do nothing-why are you are paying a manager to make a default position? Where is the value added? Would it not have made sense for this manager to think about future potential for rentals to me and the large company I represent. I will never rent from this company again. Advantage has lost my business forever.

Rented a car in Raleigh and it was incredibly easy to pick up. The shuttle got us from the airport and took us right to the pickup building. Very fair max mileage policy. Friendly staff. Be aware their customer service is only open Monday-Friday. The car we were given’s driver door did not open properly which we did not realize until after leaving. We wanted to make sure we let the company know it was like that when we picked up the car. It was not a big deal but due to it being a weekend, we couldn’t contact customer care to let them know.

EZ rent a car was quick and easy. The service representative Pamela was extremely helpful and provided pleasant service. They do put a $200 hold on your card which is not told beforehand and there seem to be a lot of extras offered for additional pricing which can hike up the price but overall service was good.
