Scheduled an appointment to have my car checked for engine pinging and gear shifting issues. The car was returned to me and I was told it might just be bad gas, that they could find no issues. Took the car back the next day when my check engine light came on. I was then told it was a coolant leak and that I was out of coolant completely along with a knock sensor and cam cover issue all of which would cost me over 300$ to fix. None of this made sense to me considering the issues I was experiencing (and I am NOT a mechanic). So I had my vehicle towed at my own cost to another dealership in Evansville. I found out the real issue was with a warped cylinder head in the engine. I had my car fixed at this other location (all of which was covered under warranty) for no charge and my car now drives great. I will never recommend Don Moore to anyone and will continue to take my car the 50 minutes to Evansville for any further issues I experience.

If I could give no stars I would. We went there after driving 2 hours to buy a suv. We get there salesperson was helpful but we drove the suv and there was a loud squeaking noise coming from the brakes on the driver side. He said "yea I heard that to." The manager then says he will then take it to the service department to get checked out. He comes back to tell us the service tech heard something but "ain't nothing to worry about." We listen to their speech. They will give us an extended warranty for cheap or help us out anywhere else with getting the price down more, etc. My husband and I knew the noise was something serious and when asked about it again they just kept saying oh it's nothing. We left. We didn't trust them after this. Got home and did research sure enough on Chevy Traverse's the brake boasters go out and make the same noise we heard. This dealership knew there was something wrong with it and was willing to do whatever necessary to get us to sign a contract. Buyers beware!

This dealership will do everything they can to make sure the customer is taken care of way beyond what is required of them, the people there are truly the BEST. I wish I could say the same for GM my truck is a diesel and came with a 100K 5 year power train warranty and at 4 years and 84K miles a electrical component in the engine went out and the warranty says electrical components in the engine are covered BUT this particular electrical component which I have found out is a common part to go out, GM has conveniently excluded from the "Power train warranty" and when this part goes bad the engine LOOSES POWER or surges, so my question is since this is a internal electrical component of the engine, why is it that this is not a part of the engine warranty, I have spoken with GM and even as they are reading the warranty script, they even say internal electrical components are covered. And when I point this out they say Oh that one is excluded. Maybe because it's very hard to get to, and requires a great deal of labor that GM simply doesn't want to pay for so they stick it to the dealership and customer. Again concerning Don Moore Chevrolet in Owensboro, Ky. I simply cannot say enough good things about them, they really did way more than they ever had to do, to help in my situation. THEY DO EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO MAKE SURE THE CUSTOMER IS TREATED RIGHT. Unlike "GM"

They do their job but it always takes me way longer than it should to get finished. 1 hour estimate, by appointment just after opening takes over 2 hours. My appointment before that, they came out and apologized for forgetting I was waiting (with my thankfully well behaved toddler). They took off half the price but we were there for about 3 hours for a tire plug from a screw/nail that should have taken no time. But, they are always polite and accommodating.

They were rude to my mom her car was broken. She took it there to have them fix it. She need an appointment they didn't look at it for two days. She missed two days of work. She's from northern Indiana she had no way to get home. They knew she was from northern Indiana they should have been on the ball and made that first priority but they didn't. Then to top it off they couldn't even fix it. They couldn't find what was wrong with it. So as far as I'm concerned don't never get any business from me or anybody I know.

I scheduled a grille replacement over the phone and was given a cost and an appointment. I dropped the car off and was later called and told the repair would require additional parts at additional expense. I get the impression this is probably a regular practice for this business.
I went in and talked to Cody. Explained my situation, and that my payments needed to stay in a certain range. I had 6 days to find a car, after day2 of being told they still can't find me nothing, I told him I had to go else where! I went that same day to Champion on 54, within 3 hrs I had been approved for a 2012 Hyundai Sonata!! I am glad I followed my gut and went elsewhere. This vehicle even had 7500 miles on it!! Got a GREAT DEAL!! Don't know why Cody couldn't do this...he obviously kept putting me off!!

PAY VERY CLOSE ATTENTION TO ALL YOUR PAPERWORK BEFORE SIGNING!!!! The Moore value price is NOT what you will actually get the vehicle for. The price listed on the vehicle is only based on many stipulations!! BEWARE buying demos!!! They will tell you that you will be compensated for the mileage an the vehicle and that the price will be lowered however if you pay very close attention to your paperwork it will NOT be discounted! Also be careful putting a down payment down bc if you pay close attention to the numbers and details on your paperwork it will not all be applied to the vehicle bc they find a way to raise price or make charges or leave out discounts that actually puts your down payment in their pockets. They list prices that are very misleading bc you only get that price if you meet many different criteria’s. DISHONEST!!!!

I recently had to have my fuel pump control module programmed on my Sierra. They did an excellent job, and came in lower than what I was originally quoted. Many times shops tack in an extra $10-15 for other miscellaneous- they were straight forward. They also found where one of my fuses was missing and reset my codes for no extra. Great people and great service. Anita and the rest of the shop knows what they're doing!

I had a bad experience. I brought my GMC in for front end work - on the way home, the transmission failed. After the transmission was replaced, the car kept stalling. It was in the shop for 3+weeks. I ended up selling the vehicle. It was a loss considering what I paid for repairs. I will be avoiding them. The customer service staff is very friendly, but I cannot trust the mechanics/service with my vehicles.

The salesman I got was afraid of losing his job if he negotiated the price of a used car. I got laughed at when I tried to negotiate! After I left the dealership I got a text that asked if they could sell me a car that could better fit my budget....He had no idea what my budget was! In the past I bought a brand new car from Don Moore (the car I am driving now) I will not buy another car, used or new from them!
Had an alignment done, and my car still pulled to the left. I called and scheduled an appointment to have the car looked at again. After waiting 2 1/2 hours, they came and told me both my front tie rod ends needed replaced, which would cost an additional $300. I waited 2 1/2 hours for them to do absolutely nothing to my car. When I asked why they didn't notice this when they did the alignment, I was rudely told by charity that I didn't specifically request that it be done. This is part of an alignment! I am not a mechanic. I dont know what parts to ask to be inspected specifically. I have attempted to contact customer service several times, but they haven't returned my calls or emails. Edit: after posting this, I was contacted by an employee from Don Moore. I explained what happened, and that I had been trying to get a response from someone for 3 weeks concerning the issue. I had already purchased the parts that needed to be replaced on my car. They offered to replace them and redo the alignment at no charge. Both of the employees that I dealt with that checked me in were very courteous, one even held my daughter's hand and entertained her while I was transferring her car seat back to my car. They also gave me a loaner car while the parts were being replaced. I appreciate them rectifying the situation.

Fantastic experience. All of the people there are a pleasure to work with. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt welcome and never felt the least bit pressured. In truth, it felt like the opposite. I really got the impression that they were all working hard to find the right vehicle for me and to get me in it. Don Moore should be proud of the staff at his GM location. 3/5/19- Just as a follow up, had to let you all know that when you buy your vehicle at Don Moore, the first service is free. I went by to see about getting my oil changed, because I was already in Owensboro that day. Stopped in and they explained that I had a free service due for purchasing my truck there. Nice, added bonus. Just one more thing that will keep me coming back to Don Moore. And did I mention their in-house coffee bar? Awesome coffee, great baristas and terrific service.

Had radiator service work done. Easy to communicate with. Nice staff. Only complaint I have is the mechanics didn't put cloths over the fenders and front grill and got dirt and grime all over them.

Horrible experience here. We bought our vehicle. They tried to call us back 39 days later and re-work our financing because the contract they provided wasnt accepted by the financing company, though they never bothered to let us know until then. We finally got a title in the mail two months after our purchase and it wasnt for our vehicle. We're three months in and are still currently waiting for a license plate. We will NEVER use them for a vehicle again.

Then she is always patient in explaining to me, in language I can understand, exactly what is wrong and what needs to be done to correct the problem. All estimates I've received from them have been on the low range of the national averages, and my final bill has never been more than the original estimate. I have 2 vehicles that I take to Don Moore on 54 for all of my maintenance and repair needs. A++ Staff from the service reps, to the cashiers, and the mechanics perform skilled work. Bought a used car at don Moore on frederica 3 weeks ago. Have had to go back to 54 the last 3 Saturdays in a row ! Now I have to 3 or 4 more days till more parts come in an guess ill spend another sat at Don Moore ! My opinion , the store on Frederick should have sent in to the Chevy place on 54 an had it all checked out before they put it on the lot to sell ! !

My wife and I bought a new car here in May. We did our research and got our loan prior before going in. That being said the atmosphere was very professional and there was no pressure to make a deal. The coffee shop attached is pretty good. I'd recommend giving Don Moore a chance before you buy somewhere else.
Words cannot express how AWESOME this dealership is. We purchased a brand new 2017 Chevy Camaro and from the start the car had problems. The problems it was having were due to factory error. The car broke down twice in 4 weeks and had paint issues. Every time it had to be taken in the ENTIRE staff was more than accommodating! They made sure, I was treated with nothing but respect and concern. After the sixth time it had to return to the dealership they got me out of the car and placed me in the exact same car with no hesitation or additional cost to me. They absolutely have customers for life with my family. I'm extremely grateful that they handled the situation the way they did. Awesome place to purchase a vehicle from. Have had some issues a couple times in past with black oily smudges on grey interior and oil cap left off after oil change. My last visit was on a Saturday and the young lady that checked me in was very therou and professional as was my service.
