Disappointing!! I have wasted my 2 weeks due to this dealer. Initially, sales person Navarre was giving correct info. But, later everyone especially the manager behaves really bad and was continuously moving the price up just before signing the docs. I left this place 2 times just before purchasing the car due to same reason. Most of my friends took the car from Carmax and they give you best quality plus good customer experience. Everything is finalized, and I am going to buy my car from Carmax this weekend. I will suggest, do research and buy from right dealer. Many dealers like Don Franklin, initially tells you low price of car to attract and later increase the price just at the time of signing cs. That's why People suggest to buy the car from dealers like Carmax where you don't see price fluctuation.

Pretty horrible experience. Went in to get a leaking CV boot replaced and have a door latch that was loose tightened. They wanted to charge me $70 to "diagnose" the problem with the door even though I already knew what was wrong and told them what the problem was, so I passed on that and took it somewhere else for that work. As for the CV boot, of course they wanted to replace the axle assembly instead of just the CV boot. So that means a more expensive part that isn't entirely needed. I was told it would take 1.5 hours and it ended up taking 3.5 hours. No explanation or apology for the extra time was given. When my car was finally done the guy came in and joked "You've been here all day". Yeah bud, I know. Will not go back to this dealer as they are obviously trying to squeeze every penny out of you that they can. Incredibly disappointing to see a Hyundai dealership run this way. Would be nice to be able to trust your local dealer, but not this one.

After an absolutely TERRIBLE experience with Jennifer Belcher at Don Franklin Nissan, we walked out of Nissan and walked down to Hyundai and dealt with Navarre Smith. Navarre took GREAT care of us and listened to our needs and wants out of a vehicle. He and Brad went to work for us and got us the very best deal possible. They have changed the car buying experience for us. We didn’t think we would buy a Hyundai but with the level of expertise from Navarre, Brad and Chandler, we were confident in purchasing one from Don Franklin. Let me just tell you about this amazing salesman we had!!!! Navarre Smith, was the absolute best!!! He listened to what we wanted and we got it! We ran him ragged I'm sure, but he does what it takes to make his customers happy. This was by far the best vehicle shopping experience we have ever had (seriously)! He took care of us up until, the very last part of the transaction. He not once acted unprofessional or irritated having to run back and forth to get us the deal we wanted. I was scheduled to meet Chris Spaulding to see a specific car. When I got there, I was told he was busy, and then when the other salesman went looking for the car, he was told they sold it yesterday. They even sent me an appointment confirmation the day of... The other salesman at least tried to sit down and go through the website to see if there was anything else I might be interested in, but overall was a waste of time, and pretty unprofessional.

Go to Gates, horrible customer service here at Don Franklin. Most notably, Bo, the “Parts department ***manager***”” is horrible. Was told tire would be in on a Saturday, went in the following Tuesday, still not there and her response was “system is down, nothing we can do.” So here my brother is out of work for extra days. Notified Wednesday the tire would be there by 12pm, but they couldn’t mount, balance or put it on until next week. This place is a joke, go to Gates Hyundai.

My sales experience was great, but after I received the car there were several things wrong. Scratches were not buffed out as promised, No navigation due to a broke antenna and broken rear defrost. I live in Louisville and they have been very unaccomadating. I drove the vehicle back here today and sat for 2 hours without my car being moved, only to be told I will have to come back again to have the antenna fixed which I told them in advance to prepare for. Not very happy as an out of town customer.

From start to finish was one of the best buying experiences I have ever had! Big shout out to Jeff and Shannon for their professionalism! They don't do like other car dealership but trying to push you into a vehicle that you don't want. Shannon introduced me to Jeff and immediately he asked what I was looking for and he pulled up the stock and explained each vehicle compared side by side then we hit the for the test drive. By the second car I had already decided which one I wanted. We went back to the shop to discuss prices which by the end I think we got the vehicle that I wanted for a great price! The employees treat you like family which made the experience that much better. Sent the car through inspection after the deal was already signed and completed and they found that a tire had a knot on the sidewall; instead of just replacing one they put brand new tires on for me free of charge to me. I will continue to do business with them as long as these two gentlemen are the people are working for the company! Again congratulations Shannon and Jeff!

On October 29, 2018 my father who is 81 years old went to turn in his Sonata lease and then lease a new vehicle. They provided him with printed quote and set up an appointment for him to come back on November 1, 2018 to complete the deal since he wanted to discuss with his wife and son (me). Then he returns on November 1, 2018 ready to complete the deal they proposed to him. Unfortunately, they decided to attempt taking advantage of an elderly man by telling him the payment will now be more that what he was quoted. He left upset and in tears, but I'm proud of him for not buckling and being taken advantage of by Don Franklin Hyundai.

Was very happy to get in my new car at first, but the they ripped me on taxes and tags, (new tags were only good for 5 months, not even until my birth month, and they didn't take my trade-in out of my name.) When My temp tag expired before I got my tag in the mail (2, almost 3 months after I bought it,) they were of NO help, and I had to drive all the way back up to Lex with an expired tag.

My Hyundai was hemorrhaging oil and not drivable. This was due to a recall issue. I had my car towed in at 11am. That specific recall and two others were completed by 4pm! Keep in mind this was an unscheduled emergency. This is absolutely amazing! I need to give specific adulation to those who also deserve it. The first cheerful person I spoke to was Tiffany. She was a ray of sunshine. The person that handled my case from open to close was Seth. WoWW!! I hope to goodness this company realizes what an asset he is! He kept me apprised of what was going on via multiple phone calls . He went above and beyond throughout the entire day. He made a very stressful situation a pleasant occurrence by day’s end! I bought my Sonata from Glenn about 16 months ago with several warranties including free lifetime oil changes. Everything was fine until Don Franklin took over. The service department has threatened to deny free oil changes stating they can not honor it. This is ridiculous! When Don Franklin became the owner, they not only assumed assets but the liabilities of Glenn as well.

I purchased a car from here in May and they misled me on what they were giving me for the trade in of my vehicle and rolled $1700 onto my new car loan without my knowledge. I was told they were giving me $2700 and instead gave me $1000. I would highly recommend making the drive to Gates Hyundai in Richmond instead for honesty and lower prices on the cars anyhow.

The SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS HORRIBLE AT THE HYUNDAI STORE!!!! All though I had a wonderful experience with the sales team during the purchase. I had one of the worst experience with the service department for a simple oil change. They lie about how long it will take to complete service. My oil change took over 6 hours to complete even after they told me 3 seperate times that it would take an hour and 45 minutes to complete. Because of this I missed several appointments for work that cost me potential money. Did they care? Absolutely not! The manager of the department was pointless. He kept saying "I don't know what happened, we just dropped the ball". We purchased a maintenance plan from them during the sale. DON'T DO IT BECAUSE IT'S A WASTE OF MONEY!!! Because we prepaid for service no one seemed to care about rectifying the situation. They explained that I had to contact the warranty to get a refund. Then the refund company told me I had to call the dealer to get my money back. I left messages with several people at the dealer with no response over a week ago. A bunch of run around to get the right people. And to think I was going to bring my other truck there for service. They don't care about your time and only want your money. I waited until now to write this as I hate ruining future relationships with companies. They have ruined my outlook on the entire company now because I did attempt to contact people outside of the service department without any luck. I'm not doing any future business with a company that doesn't respect its customers. I need to go alter my other post about the Auto Mall now because of this experience. Not a 5 star facility.

I love having my vehicle serviced by Glenn Hyundai. They always provide you with a great experience, However, requested something outside the norm didn't go so well. I requested an extra service other than my normal oil change and nothing was written on my paperwork to indicate what they found leading me to believe they never checked. I was experiencing hesitation while climbing hills to where the gears didn't seem to shift correctly. My third disappoint in service.

This is the worst car dealership in this town. Not only were they deceitful when we tried to buy a car, but we scheduled a Hyundai recall service on our 2014 Sonata 3 weeks out. They told us we could drop it off Friday and pick it up on Saturday. They called 2 days before we were to drop it off, and said they could not have it back to us until Monday. 2DAYS. Do yourself a favor and stop at Car Max to get your car

Leased a new Tucson. The car is 5 weeks old and already having issues. Died in the middle of a busy road (all electrical died but started back up after pulling over and waiting a couple minutes). Basically was told by Don Franklin to get it to them somehow and they would look at it. No loaners were available so was told to try and see if Hyundai Consumer Affairs might help. Jury is still out on service support after sale. I was left feeling I wish I had my old car back. Stay tuned. Will amend after service.

I purchased a vehicle here a few days ago. While purchasing the new vehicle I was offered a pretty offensive amount for my trade, much below KBB value. Luckily, I was able to negotiate to a more reasonable number. However, a few days later I get a phone call advising me that I told them the wrong payoff amount on my trade in. While I did provide them the loan balance instead of the payoff amount (small difference due to interest), they somehow wrote down the number wrong that I gave them. The dealership had been contacting me, expecting me to provide them with nearly $1,000 over a mistake that was their fault. This is my first and last time purchasing a vehicle from any Don Franklin dealership.

Had a bad experience went to service department on August 6 had issue with battery drain with my 2017 new car .talk with representative for about 15 minutes he said tech. Has to look at the issue what is causing that problem . And gave me appointment for August 14 at 4.30 pm Upon checking at arrival today guy can not find me in system. Finally he find it and telling me it’s 4.30 pm we don’t have any tech. To look at issue . If you don’t have tech. don’t give appointment at that time Then she said its battery issue let me check. Che checked with machine and said need new battery Then why some one did not check that with machine on August 6 . If I knew there is no technician available and if the will check battery with machine Why they told me to make appointment for battery check . I have to drive 40 miles for that I should just go to Walmart and checked it Bad services Not coming again

Made an appointment to have my car looked at. The lady who scheduled me said they could even probably fix it the same day. Got to the service location, they told me they “didn’t know why she scheduled my appointment at that time because they didn’t have anyone there who could look at my Hyundai.” I left work early and drove across town for them to tell me there was nothing they could do and asked me to make ANOTHER appointment. Seems like you would need all employees to be on the same page with work times and scheduling...

My husband and I purchased our first Hyundai Tuscan back in 2011. It was a wonderful purchase. We stopped by Glenn's in Mary of 2014 just to see what they had and to also see how much they would give me for my 2011 Tuscan. We ended up buying another Tuscan but a 2014. They worked with us to get the color and interior I wanted. Now my payment for my new Tuscan is $60 less than it was on my old Tuscan, plus leather seating on my new one. I am very happy with my purchase.

I recently went to Valvoline as a matter of convenience to get my oil and fluid levels checked before a road trip and they informed me that there was no oil in my vehicle and I had been driving it around for almost 3,000 miles. I have never had this issue before with my 2015 Hyundai Sonata and they informed me that there wasn't any leaks. This could have been due to there not being enough oil or any oil being added to my vehicle when I had last brought it in for an inspection and oil change at Don Franklin Hyundai service. This was disappointing because I have normally had great service but most likely won't be returning, and I hope that there isn't any long term damage to my vehicle. Luckily Valvoline had ensured there aren't any leaks or damage from what they can see and I will work with them to get services done for preventive maintenance and ensure my car is running smoothly.

I leased a car from hyundai, made every payment on time. When I turned in the car, they sent me a 400$ bill, said the car looked great but I needed to pay them $400 to sell the car a "disposition fee". I called Hyundai finance to set up a bill payment agreement due to my wife and I are on a fixed income and the woman threatened me with calling and credit reporting. They will charge the person who buys the car a delivery fee, it's a big load of hogwash.

My sister bought a used 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe Unsatisfied with Glenn. They have lower there customer service. First the sale person was very helpful but I ask them to repair a few things before we purchase the SUV they agree to repair the problem on the following Week . The next week we return to Hyundai to repair the scratches and resurface the rear rotor. First there standards on repair the scratches is washing the car, they wouldn't fix / resurface the rear rotor because they didn't need them, but the rear rotors had wave in the rotor. Then after there so called inspection tell me how I'm missing 2 lugz nuts on my rear rotor. Then they want to tell me they never took the rim to check the rotor. Come on!!!!! Who can just shine a flashlight on the rotor and say it fine without touching the rotor. So after an hour it to just put 2 bolts on an SUV then notice lower dome light broke and they wouldn't repair the damage. My family has bought many car from Glenn but after this SUV purchase. My next car I buy will be anywhere else then Glenn because they agree to fix the problem but don't. I better go to a buy here / pay here lots at least they tell u they can't fix it or they won't fix up front. 100% 2 thumbs down.

I recently purchased a new Santa Fe Sport from the Don Franklin dealer ship and noticed right before leaving the lot that one of the overhead light bulbs in the car had burnt out. The whole dealership had actually closed when I was finally able to leave so I was told to bring it back the next day and it would be replaced. I lived out of town and this would be an extra trip but I said okay. I returned the next day and got it replaced without incident or so I thought. A few days later in the light of day I noticed black greasy grimy fingerprints on the cloth headliner all around the area where the bulb had been replaced and even on the sun visor. It was apparent that whoever changed the bulb "forgot" to wash their hands and didn't care about the mess they left. I was furious that they could disrespect my property like that. So I had to make another trip back there and demand that they clean it. The burnt out bulb should have been a minor problem that could have easily been fixed but now for me it became a huge problem. It showed me their lack of accountability, their lack of professionalism and lack of respect. If this is the way they treat a customer with such a minor issue it makes me wonder what they might do to my car if I had a really big problem. Is this the kind of people I could trust my car with. I don't think so. I don't think I want them working on my car again. Of course this will void the lifetime warranty that the dealership gives you which seems to be the way they"lock" you into using their services. Maybe this is the only way they can get people to bring their cars to them for service since I can't imagine anyone bringing their vehicle to them voluntarily if this is typical of the way they treat their customers. Who knows what a simple oil change might turn into?

The last time I had some recalls Taken care of back in May I was there for 4 hours with an appointment... some lady was aressed in the show room., and to top it off they tried to give me the wrong car. I go back last week bc my door was broken. I made an appointment they said we have the part of will be 30 minutes. 3 hours go by... apparently they didn't do any service to me car when I went there in May. And they didn't tell me it would take so long. THIS PLACE/COMPANY IS LYING ABOUT WHAT SERVICES AND THE WORK BEING COMPLETED TO CUSTOMERS VEHICLES!!!! If you have doubts I will show you all my WONDERFUL paperwork. Do not go here!!! I will drive all the way to Richmond for further work.

Went in today hoping to get a car and drove off the lot with a heck of a deal. The sales rep Chase Huston was on point with his manners and how he tried to get me in and out. He also went out of his way to find the car I came in to buy. That being said he also helped me when I was set on the price I wanted to spend!! Same goes for the manager Steven!!!
