This dealership has got to be one of the best around.....Our salesman (Bryce) was very knowledgeable and seemed to do whatever it took to help us out. We actually were "window shopping" at 10 pm (to avoid the pushy salesmen) and he came out to talk about the car we were checking out (he was NOT pushy at all!!). Then at 8 am the next morning he was sending us over the info we requested......this really impressed me to see his work ethic and how much he cared. Bryce staid in touch and again worked with us to get to our budget needs......he was extremely professional. Overall I would recommend this dealership and definitely the salesman......Thanks Courtesy and Bryce for your help!!!!

I had a terrible experience today with the service department. After $141 to diagnose my car and estimated $1500 in repairs, I took my car to Ken Towery on Hurstbourne Lane only to find out the part that was broken was a water pump that should be covered under warranty. I then took my car back to Sam Swope Cadillac and had to convince the technician that the water pump was the problem and was quoted 90 mins to repair. 3 HOURS later and zero updates on progress, I had to go to the service manager and ask what was the progress on the car. After they repaired the water pump under warranty, my car runs smooth with no leaks although the service manager and the technician still told me that wasn't the solution. What rip-off artists!!!!! Don't ever trust the service department at this place as all they want to do is sell parts to you that you don't need and keep you waiting for hours!!!!!

It was horrible the people there are telling their costumers they need parts on there vehicles when the parts are not completely out or bad so there I will be taking my Cadillac xlr back to them ever. They told me my convertible top motor had went out and when I took it to my friends shop he took ground plug off cleaned it them the top worked just fine I will recommend people to take their cars there. Horrible and miss trusting. They also told me I had 3 struts that where out they are not they may not be brand new but they are still working just fine so yall are actually smashing people out of their money for parts

Dropped off vehicle for service at time of appointment (Thursday 10am). Called back today at 9am Friday to inquire about the status. First response from advisor was "I need to call you back my computer is being slow". Advisor called back ten minutes later and asked for my VIN# because he doesn't show a repair order in the system under my name and isn't sure which car is mine! RED FLAGS. Waiting on a call back now. I am not pleased with my first experience at this dealership.... <<>> Monday, call to inquire about status of vehicle. We do not have your name in the system... Let us get back to you. ---Really? I was provided a loaner car for the weekend, but my vehicle is still not in the system to be repaired apparently. The phone number you gave to rectify situation just takes me back to the service department. You can respond to a google review but not a service request?

My wife and I drove from Lexington to Sam Swope Cadillac to purchase an escalade esv, when we arrived the one we wanted had just been sold, but our sales person, Johnathan Finch, took the time to listen to what we needed (and what we wanted). Jonathan let me drive 4 different SUV's and was very easy going, and not pushy at all. We chose another escalade we wanted and were very pleased with the entire buying process. Thanks Jonathan!! This is the second time I have visited Sam Swope trying to purchase a new vehicle. Today I inquired about the Cadillac ATS Coupe. I went alone because I knew exactly what I was looking for. It was a terrible customer service experience for me. The salesperson was not friendly. He behaved as if he didn't want to share details about the vehicle I wanted to purchase. He gave me no information to review and told me I could find the information I wanted on the web. I have secured financing for any vehicle I request. The salesperson behaved as if I couldn't possibly afford his vehicle and continued questioning me about financing. I will find the vehicle of my choice, but I will not purchase it from Sam Swope!

I couldn’t remove the key from my vehicle. I backed it up, went forward, turned the wheel and still couldn’t get the key out. My husband tried. My neighbor tried. It was late. We managed to shut off the lights, and I had a fitful night’s sleep as I LOVE my 2006 SRX. It was the end of a long awful couple of weeks. We had traveled to NY for a wedding. My husband became ill, was hospitalized, had surgery, and we missed the wedding. Arriving home, this was the last straw. In the morning the car was dead. My husband jump started it and off to the dealership we went, with no appointment. When we arrived I burst into tears and explained my plight. Folks were sympathetic, caring and just wonderful. We got a ride home. Later, we learned that, of course, the key came right out when they parked it to await it’s turn for service. Examination proved nothing wrong, again, of course. They lubricated the key complex and were very kind and understanding and did not at all make me feel stupid, which was greatly appreciated. I was most pleased my the service and how I was treated.

I was not please when I tried to purchased parts from this Cadillac dealer. The parts counter rep couldn't even get my name right and had an extremely poor attitude, on the way out the door I had grabbed some of their crappy free coffee and going through the doorway one of their salesman ran through right in front of me as I spilled my coffee all over my white shirt and dress slacks! The guy didn't even say excuse me or try to help in any way as some other employee's just watched and kept walking. Thanks a lot! Don't worry, I will never attempt to purchase anything from one of Sam Swope's dealership's ever again!

Buying a vehicle from Courtesy Cadillac was the best move we could have made in regards to making our recent purchase! From the sales floor, Chris, to the service department, Anthony, we were made to feel like VIPs! No regrets and will most definitely do business with them again! Update- after Anthony left the service department, the place has gone downhill. Never will I ever buy another vehicle from Courtesy! I’ve picked up my Escalade and found garbage inside, fingernail clippings (omg) grease, etc. I was told things would be fixed only to find that after having it in there for up to a week or longer, the issues still exist. And do NOT buy the extended interior/exterior package. This far, nothing I’ve had it in for has been covered. I was told all the wonderful things that would be covered but not one damn thing so far! Well, except for a small chip in the paint that was “fixed” with what looks like white fingernail polish. Couldn’t really see it before but boy, do you now!

[UPDATE] - I did receive a very nice call from the service manager who offered to address my frustrations. I appreciated the call and - though my experience was terrible - I truly believe he will work to make things better. My 'check engine' light came on and I visited the dealership to see about my Variable Valve Timing Solenoid replaced (a process that recently cost my father about $75). After waiting for over an hour and a half with no word from anyone, I asked the lady at the register to check on my car for me. She went back a couple of times and finally told me someone would be out shortly. (The woman at the register was very helpful.) I explained that I had to pick someone up at 4pm (about 10 minutes from then) and I never expected to wait an hour and a half to even find out what was wrong. Eventually, a strange woman comes out, points at me and says... 'Yoouuuuu. You're the one right? Which car did you have?' I told her. 'Harding, right?' I said yes. She confirmed that the solenoid should be replaced and informed me that it would not only cost $135 for the part and $750 for the labor (!!!), but - after the other recommendations they put together for me - I would need to pay nearly $2400!! I explained that I would have to shop around for a figure like that. I had no plans to spend thousands of dollars on a 4-year old Cadillac. She says ok and leaves. I wait another 20 minutes before finally going up to the woman at the register again and asking her where my car was. I was now 10 minutes PAST my appointment time and I needed to go. I apologized for being a difficult customer, but I had to go. She disappeared and came back to tell me they would be bringing it around soon. A few minutes later, they pulled my SRX up... but then I had to wait for them to process my invoice. It was then - and only then - that I discovered they planned to charge me $156 JUST TO LOOK AT THE CAR!!! I was furious. I had to go, so I paid the money (vowing NEVER to return to this dealership for ANY reason) and I walked over to my car. The icing on this cake was discovering that the person who drove my car up adjusted my car seat so much that I couldn't even get into my own car. I had to have the strange woman at the front help me figure out how to fix what he did to my car seat. I was livid... and I was REALLY late. Then - just as I was ready to back out - one of the service members drove a car up and blocked me in. Finally, the service team cleared a way for me to get out and I left. I will not be back. Ever.

DECEPTION AND SENIOR FRAUD 12/21/18 An update on our situation with Courtesy Cadillac. We met with Ardrian Miron, the general manager/owner, this afternoon. It was an honest, open, courteous, pleasant and respectful conversation. We listened to each other expressing both sides concerns and issues. We laughed and talked about business philosophy. At the end of the day, he listened to our issues and concerns and wants to resolve this issue to both the dealership and our satisfaction. I feel confident this will happen. 12/5/18 We have returned to the dealership twice to resolve the issue, Friday, November 30th and Saturday, December 1st, as the response has requested. We've had multiple email exchanges with the GM/Part Owner Adrian Miron, all to no avail. Each time we requested to unwind this contract and return the 2018 XT5 and $2000 for the 2019 XT5. We were told flatly, "the deal is done and you're not getting your car back". Frankly, it is apparent that Courtesy Cadillac has no intention of resolving this issue. 12/3/18 WOW!! My negative review and exchange with the GM has been removed from their Facebook and websight. This seems to confirm the public and senior deception. Their websight says "Unfiltered Reviews" but they certainly do not adhere to this. 12/2/18 I sent this email to Courtesy Cadillac: The follow-up is listed below in a separate post To Whom It May Concern, This past Wednesday, my father visited the service department for a routine oil change and tire rotation. While waiting, he walked into the showroom to say hello to his sales person. While there, the sales person introduced him to one of the owners who said to him "We're going to sell you a car today". My dad's reply was, "I just bought one earlier this year" to which they responded, "Make us an offer". My father thought for a few minutes and offered his existing 2018 XT5 plus $2000 for a 2019 model XT5. After about 20 minutes, the offer was accepted, the paperwork completed and he left with his new car. Upon reviewing the paperwork yesterday, he noticed there was an additional $11,000 added to the finance! He immediately called the dealership to speak with the owner(who has yet to return his call). Finally, the salesperson told him to bring the car and paperwork back to see what they could do. When he arrived, his first response was asking for his original car returned to him to which he was told "they didn't know where it was". His next response was to remove the additional $11,000 which they refused to do. Ultimately, some of this amount was removed, yet this was not the deal that was agreed upon by the salesperson and the owner. Over the years our family has bought multiple vehicles from Courtesy Cadillac, Lexus of Louisville, Swope Infiniti, Swope Honda and Toyota of Louisville. It appears at this point, this vehicle will certainly be the last. He went to the dealership because we had always been treated fairly and honestly and he trusted the people he had dealt with previously. It is apparent this is no longer the case as this past visit was far from this. As local business people ourselves, we stand behind our word with people. This is the honest and honorable way of doing business. After many years of doing business with the Sam Swope Auto Group, this honest and honorable way of doing business no longer seems to be in place.

They literally act as though they couldn't care less if they sell a car. I've never been to a dealership where the people in charge of car sales were even remotely as bad as these.

I purchased my tires from a third party several years ago. This includes lifetime tire rotation. I took my car to that company for rotation, and balancing. I still had a bad vibration, so took it back. They said they rebalanced the tires. It was still bad. So, I took it to Courtesy Cadillac to have it checked, suspecting something else was wrong. Double check your service work! My wife went and got her oil changed today. When she picked it up the service reminder still needed to be reset. No big deal, she pointed it out and one of the service techs reset it. But, she heard another service tech over on the side make a comment like they didn't do an oil change. When I got home she told me what happened so I checked her oil. Oil was low and dirty, and I could tell it was the old oil filter. What did they do with my wife's vehicle, park it and then gave it back? What did we pay for? Service manager is supposed to call us back but we are still waiting.

Ever since Sam Swope was sold to a group in Florida service has suffered tremendously in the auto service department at Courtesy Cadillac. Every visit is a negative visit but to go back and see no familiar faces was definitely a shock since the faces are always rotating in sales as well as the service department at Courtesy Cadillac. I was very saddened to hear that David Holland had decided to leave courtesy Cadillac. My issue started when I made my appointment using the Cadillac app on my phone I did not receive a confirmation in email or by phone that my appointment had been received and made. on the day of my appointment I decided to confirm that they received it and I had a loaner car available which I had requested through the app. The young lady in the service department had never even seen the Cadillac app before I showed it to her when I got to the dealership .when I made it to the dealership the girl in service I'm sure her name was Tigre said she did have a loaner car and I would need a credit card for them to hold because it was the policy of the new owners in case I brought the loaner back without gas. this was a very great and malicious insult to my character being that I bought my car new in 2015 as a lease and a loaner car came along with his Service as well as multiple other things that I considered to be wonderful reasons as well as Cadillac being the ultimate American luxury car for me is why I decided to go to Courtesy Cadillac. I had already had a very bad experience with Brown Brothers Cadillac and traded in my Cadillac SRX to Courtesy Cadillac which was owned by Sam Swope at the time and had a wonderful experience in doing so. Months after my purchase I learned Sam Swope no longer owned the dealership and the service department indeed suffered. I have been lied to about the service performed on my car when in actuality there was none done example rotating my tires changing my oil and fluids and filters and Topping them off. my car stayed a full 24 hour and none of this work was done but it was returned to me as if it was done so you can understand my trust issues but even then I was not asked to leave a credit card in case I didn't put gas and the loaner car when I returned it I wasn't aware this was Cadillac policy. Also to add insult to injury my car is garage kept it came in spotless as I am the only one that drives the car and I usually have no passengers when I picked my car up it had bird droppings all over the car as if it had been parked under a tree the manager returned my car this way and told my husband I had implemented a no wash policy which is an utter and complete lie. As a matter of fact courtesy Cadillac has detailed my car two years in a row completely albeit not very well and they also wash it after any service has been performed so I'm not sure why the manager Richard chose to lie to my husband which infuriated my husband because it implied that Richard lied on me. It says a lot to me about a service manager willing to give a customer a car back not only in a way in which he did not receive it but also dirty in general and then lie about it. He had no interest in hearing about my prior experience and the service department his attitude was to turn his head and ignore me completely and talk to my husband and when I tried to voice my opinion and which I called his attention to being very rude in doing so. His Mantra was please give me the chance I will fix it I will it. this is when I brought my car in for service. When I picked my car up it was filthy with bird droppings. I have been so disheartened with the service I received from courtesy Cadillac since they have been purchased from this Florida group. Complete idiots run service department the mechanics did not know the key was located inside the key fob to open my glove compartment to change my cabin filter I had to instruct them how to get the key out of the key fob.

Have purchased and serviced several Cadillac's for from different dealers. Took my Escalade in for service and they would not provide a loaner. On two occasions the service depart up-charged me on parts and would not cover bumper-to- bumper warranty service. Tried talking to the service manager and GM would not return my calls. I would recommend their service or buying a car from them.

They are very professional however I have had my car in 4 times 3 times with this dealer and once to a dealer if Florida. Every time they say they see nothing wrong yet since I bought the car new it will not keep air in the one tire all they say is they can not find a leak anywhere. I am not a macanic but I wander if it July loses air when there is wieght on tire

You be the judge... I delivered my 2014 CTS for warranty service on the touchscreen and oil change. After leaving with the vehicle, within 1/4 miles the engine was in clear distress. By the time I was able to turn around and return to the dealership, I had the disastrous Low Oil Pressure message. The engine was completely destroyed. The dealership completely replaced the engine, but claimed it was a known issue and was covered by the warranty and had no relationship to their "oil change". I would normally be OK with a mistake. We all make them. A Cadillac loaner vehicle for a couple of weeks is no real hardship. Perhaps it was just a coincidence. But if it wasn't, then charging the Cadillac company for the price of a new engine rather than admitting a mistake would be a blatantly dishonest act. The reader can judge for themselves. These are just the facts.

Once your warranty is up you'll discover a whole different side of the business. While you have your warranty service is awesome and courteous. Once it's up you're on your own. So I'll detail a couple items here. My first bad experience was in regard to changing a headlamp on my ATS. While I didn't think 300 for it was awful because you've got to take the front end off of the stupid thing to get to it. What blew my mind is that while it was off they could have went ahead and changed the other one. It's only a $30 part. They didn't even call. So I just chalked that one up to my being stupid and not telling them to go ahead and change the other. Fast forward about a year. I've got another headlight out. Yea it's the other one. So I went and purchased 2. While I'm getting my time shifted around so I can take it in to get both headlights changed I get a crack in my radiator. So I've got to take it to them for inspection and possible replacement/repair. The guy calls me with a quote which totaled almost 4 grand. The kicker was that he tacked on the labor for the headlight replacement for one side ($300 to in labor) Then tacked on another $100 to change the windshield wipers. Who pays that much to have wipers replaced? I told him I'd come get my car. Mainly because I also had a couple other quotes in the works. (Certified Cadillac service shops.) Everyone else I called quoted changing the radiator for almost half what courtesy was asking and would do the headlights and wiper blades for free. (cost of parts excluded but I already had all of that.) So with that in mind I went to pick up my car at the dealership. This is where it becomes really irritating. So my wife drops me off and we look at my car in the waiting area next to the shop. Looks like it's good to go. I go inside and talk to the guy at the counter and gets irritated because I'm not having the service done. I tell him that I'm going to take it to another dealership which quoted the same job for just under 2k. He responded that my car is in the bay and not ready for me yet. I stated that my car was around back but would wait in the customer waiting area. The serviceman comes into the waiting room a couple minutes later just to tell me it will be a while and that wasn't my car in the back. I said alright I'm just here to get my car. What he didn't know is that my car has some details which really stand out and make it very easy to spot if you know what you're looking for. (Mainly I've got a couple plugs in the front fender which were painted to look like the front collision sensors.) I couldn't stand the front license plate holder that was on it when I bought it. So about 1 1/2 to 2 hours later I'm in my car and I make certain to drive across the road and grab some Dex-cool just in case and to give my car a quick look. I've left a lot out but overall it was a really tense situation and regardless I have no intention of ever doing business with Courtesy Cadillac again.

Bought a CTS and upgraded warranty. Honestly everything has been great, even had the motor replaced and warranty covered it, albeit after some serious negotiation and headaches. I had all of my maintenance done with them over the past 3 years. I recently needed to get something done, and asked for a loaner vehicle to which I was told it would be over a week. That simply won't work with my schedule. Instead of instantly leaving a negative review I reached out to Amanda Cress, the eCommerce manager, directly to get it resolved. She said that she'd have a manager reach out to me. Surprise, no one did. I'll take my business elsewhere from now on. Over all not a terrible experience until my warranty was up.
