Terrible. Had motor replaced, which they denied me till I called corporate, and had to go back 3 more times to get things right. Now my air conditioning compressor is out. All within weeks of each other. Several times I heard other customers saying bad things. Just talking about my experience and can't say about others. I have to go there for warranty but dont reccomend them at all.

Here's the deal salesman named mark contacted me about getting a car. I told him what my credit score was and I did not want to waist my time coming there if he could not help me. He told me he wouldn't waste my time and that he would take care of me. Then I get a texted again it was a girl named Chelsy and she was the one talking with me even though I talked with mark on the phone, I guess mark had a sex change, then I got a text from a guy Forrest I guess mark had another sex change, now a get another text from chelsy asking me to asked for her when I get there, once again another sex change . So when I get there I asked for chelsy and out comes a guy named Lawrence once again another sex change. Very confused staff. So Lawrence tells me that he could put me in a sorento but my payments will be over 500.00 a month. What a messed up place. I will let everyone know what a rip off they are. Trust me there are lot of people I come in contact with each day in my job.

I really enjoyed my salesman, Brandon, BUT once I bought my vehicle it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. I had to clean my Jeep out myself (vacuum the carpet, wipe down the seats and dash) and I was told my oil would be changed but it wasn’t. The cleaning I did would have taken a professional establishment around 20 minutes, so it’s not like it was filthy but when you spend that much money on something you want it perfect, but mine wasn’t, unfortunately. Detail was not what I expected. Tire shine was all over my vehicle and the windows and the exterior was oily and spotty from it. The glovebox nor the center console had been touched.

I brought my car up there to get looked at because oil light was coming on. They said it needed a part and was leaking oil, I was unaware that the part they replace was only $18 but charged me OVER $500 for labor!! This place is ridiculous!

I stop 2 week ago at service to ask about my car My car 2011 Kia Optima hypred and the car want start so I ask the service told me you need to put the original battery starter or your car will not start . And this battery it’s delar only cost me around $400 so I bought this battery and I put in the car and I try to start it want start seem proplom. So I tow my car at the ki service in Nicholasville to do diagnostics after 3 days I call them and they say it’s the hayride battery and this will cost you $3500 I said I can’t afford that. Can I have my car. Thay say ok you have to pay $115 for diagnostic. I did and wall im trying to left tha car on the towing I look under the car I found the engine broken from the bottom and have holl and the engine locked.. I ask the service what is that . He say yah the engine broken I say how did you diagnose the car. He say we only diagnosed the battery and the battery is bad .wans we replace it and the car want start we will look for the unather problem . I said that crazy. So I took the car to Grage to replace the engine and we replace the engine and the car working fine ... bad experience at Kia service I will never go there again

Was sold a 2011 Malibu with 76,000 miles that was used. Had a bad Motor and ended up paying $13,000 ended up getting tricked for my money. I was young and now that I have bought a new car from a great Company I thought I’d write a review. If they would have done me right this $24,000 could have went to them. I will never go back. I do not recommend this place at all. They told me to contact them in the comment. So I did. They told me it was my problem. They just want quick money!! Not a care in the world for other people when buying a car. So upsetting. They just hire anyone. I’m so serious when I say stay away from this company. They did me so wrong!! Lesson learned so I’m grateful for that for future Purchase this down the road. I’m telling you all now it is not worth it to go here!! Absolutely not worth it. When you read this review please consider it. Just trying to help other people

Buying my car from here was great and everyone was very nice. I got a warranty on it and a month later something was wrong with it. I took it in and they told me they couldn't get me in until six days later but to bring it back early if it kept doing it so they could put me in a rental car. I came back three days later because my car died on me while I was driving. I got there and the same person who told me to bring it in and could get me a rental told me they didn't have any rental cars but they would see what they could do. I left my car with them and he said they would call me at 2:30. I called them at 5:30 because I hadn't heard from them and he said that they couldn't look at it today and that they would look at it Monday when I originally scheduled the appointment. I wasted a trip over there and now I don't have any car because I left mine with them and they couldn't even call me and tell me. I had to call them before they closed. Telling me you would get it looked at and get me a rental and then telling me you couldn't is ridiculous

Car Town Kia's Service Department is TERRIBLE! There was a recall on my vehicle. I had an appointment 2 hours before they closed. I arrived 10 minutes late due to traffic (election day), and I was told that I had to keep my car here over night. I stay an hour away from the dealership. They told me they don't offer Transportation to where I live, and I would have to pay for a rental out of pocket. They will NOT cover the rental... even for a day... The only person available to pick me up won't be available until 10pm tonight. The lady at the desk kindly suggested that I could "walk around Kohl's until my ride gets here 6 HOURS LATER". Yeah... no thanks Toots! I will NEVER buy another Kia if I have to get maintenance from this place. The blow would be a little better if they treated you with respect or spoke to you in a kind manner. Just rude and apathetic!.. But hey, I should've known better. Decent human beings don't work at car dealerships. Jokes on me!

BUYER BE WARE: I have been fighting for three months to get my Gap Insurance money back after canceling my insurance. I have written proof I canceled it but they always says it will show on your next payment voucher. And have always promised to check on it and call me back. All the calls I get from them is wanting to sell me a new car or service my car. I have no problem with the car it is a great car. Just the promises of the dealership. Hope you have better luck. BEWARE OF BUYING GAP INSURANCE.

Went here for the first time to have my car serviced as it had a recall. The man that worked with me was wonderful, which is why this review won’t have just one star. HOWEVER I made an appointment for 8:30. My car wasn’t even taken back for service until 9:20! I was the ONLY person there. By the time they took my car back and finished it was 10:15 just to replace break pads.... I watched them bring my car out and park it. I waited and waited for them to call me to come get it. Watched the guy drop paper work off on the desk as soon as he parked it and was never called. I walked in the office and the long haired girl at the desk informed me they “just dropped the paperwork off and my car hadn’t been sitting there long.” I literally watched them bring it out and watched her just sit at the desk and doing nothing for over 10 minutes as I kept waiting. Then I was signing my papers and she threw a stack of papers with my keys on top over her computer onto my hand and said “oops sorry I was trying to miss your hands....” SERIOUSLY!? I’ll never take my car back to them for service just so I don’t have to wait so long for what was quoted to me over the phone as taking less than a half hour to fix... and just so I don’t have to deal with the rude ass woman at the front desk. Ridiculous.

Service department is horrible. Made appointment last week. Dropped car off for recalls at 8am. Was told it would take 2-3 hours to complete. Finally got a hold of the service department after calling for an hour starting at 1:30pm because they were suppose to pick me up at 3pm and I had not heard from anyone I was told the car had not even been looked at yet.

Adam was great. Very knowledgeable. Didn't hover as a salesperson but was able to be close when there were questions. Able to take test drives without issue. Even though we didn't buy a Kia this time, I still would recommend seeing Adam. The only reason this isnt 5 stars is because another salesperson came out to talk when he was told we were working with Adam he kept talking that he needed to explain how 1 model is different to another & that's why there are price differences ( no kidding right). I let him know I wasn't ignorant & called to Dan "Hey Hon this man is talking to me like I'm ignorant. " That was when he finally left me alone.

I had a wonderful salesman (Jim), he tried everything to get me where I needed to be. But, once it came time to sign the contract it seemed like everything got twisted. This was my first purchase completely on my own. Age 22, and I was not aware of all the key things to look for. Needless to say, my mom had to come back to the store to discuss the contract with said person. Luckly, they fixed it. But, lesson learned.. LOOK AT EVERYTHING ON CONTRACT. When someone says something is 'included' - it really isn't. You are purchasing the extras. Just know what all to look for before heading that way. But, I did have an awesome salesman and an awesome guy help me find the best interest rate + payment option for exactly what I needed.

This place doesn’t deserve ANY stars. DO NOT SHOP FOR A CAR HERE. My girlfriend went in after receiving a call asking if she was interested in trading in her car, as they needed more used cars. After making it clear she was not able to pay more than $350 for a car payment and wanting to look at used cars, the salesman she worked with continually gave her countless reasons why she “needed” a new car vs a used one. He was showing her cars that would make her payment $450+ and claimed she “wouldn’t find a better deal than that.” They were nice enough, but extremely pushy, even after being told more than once she was overwhelmed and needed time to consider it. They pushed and pushed and he even brought in a sales manager who told her they were “slow” so he was giving her a “great deal” by offering 10 years of oil changes and gap insurance, instead of just listening to what she was saying and finding her a car with a monthly payment in her budget. She was in tears after leaving, feeling like they didn’t care at all about what she needed, only worried about making sure she left in a brand new car, regardless of what it cost her. We will absolutely never return, and will be sure to tell other people how Cartown Kia’s sole concern is making money, not helping their customers get what they need.

The auto repair center is an absolute JOKE. Engine was repaired (under warranty) and when I picked it up there were numerous problems that never existed before the car entered their care. I had to leave the vehicle there because it wasn’t drivable yet they STILL refuse to repair their mistakes or even look at the car. I’m in total shock that the lady speaks to clients the way she has spoken to us and the way Mike handles (or ignores and refuses to handle) business.

I went in expecting to buy a quality used vehicle but was able to afford a brand new one thanks to Jarred R. and the sales manager, whose name escapes me at the moment. They went above and beyond, staying over an hour after their closing time. Jarred was very friendly & personable and seemed very genuine, definitely breaking the ole car salesman stereotype. He walked me through every step of the process all while trying to get me the best deal possible that would also stay within my budget. I spent far less time with the manager but he also was very courteous & professional. They both gave me a lot of financial tips for the future regarding the vehicle, lowering my interest rate and maximizing my credit score and profile, in general. Oh! I almost forgot about Courtney, my initial contact. She too was extremely helpful and professional. I've had a 5-star experience so far and hope it remains that way for many years to come.

They put to rest all the rumors of “used car salesmen”. I spoke with Candace on the phone who was very knowledgeable about their product, and she actually persuaded me toward the Kia. I thought I only wanted a Honda or Toyota, and I wanted to buy something around $10k so we didn’t have to finance. She was so informative that we actually decided to go with a 2017, she was passionate about what she was selling. Candace wasn’t working when we went over to look at the van. Adam was our salesman, and there was absolutely zero pressure from him on what vehicle to purchase. He was patient and down to earth, and answered ALL of my questions. After looking over the van, There was a tail light lens cover that had moisture in it, so he gave us an IOU, and stayed true to his word and called me 2 days later to have it replaced. I will be in the market for another vehicle (maybe 2) in the near future for my children, I will definitely consider returning to Kia. Also, Kenny Cross did our financing portion and he was honest and upfront about everything, and explained everything in a way so simple that a child could understand, he actually drew most of it out. He was very professional and humble, and we were blessed by meeting him and hearing his personal experience as to how the GAP insurance was helpful. This entire process was a great one, even if we do have a payment now, we feel confident we did the right thing.

Be careful here! Negotiated a price for hours, ended where we felt comfortable. However the window sticker was not the actual price and they knew it. Extras were added in that we did not want or unaware of at the time. Very sly and deceptive! Refuse to sign anything until you get the contract and read read read - no matter how much they pressure you to be quick. We were informed by Finance they are "Giving us 21 free oil changes and 2 extra years of warranty" Key word is "giving" We did not ask for it nor did we want it - this was told to us after the rushing of the contract signing. Now we are stuck with $800 in oil changes and $2500 in extended warranty. We were told these would be removed - last week. Still waiting. They do not answer calls, emails, or anything else. Avoid this place - Honest People are taken advantage of. Bad business even for a car dealership.

I was really happy with the sales person, he was wonderful, in fact I can’t say enough good things about him, as far as the person who tries to get you financed was awful I had a high 760 credit score and by the time they where done my credit scores are down in the low 600’s, instead of starting with the company that financed me they checked with all those no name companies that I never heard of and everyone of them done a hard credit check, I will promise this I will never buy another KIA from car town KIa on Nicholasville road in Nicholasville Ky.

Robert was wonderful. He listened to what our budget was and what features we were wanting in a van. He showed us a minivan that was in our budget and had everything we were looking for. He even made sure we got the color we wanted, not just what was out in the lot that we were looking at originally. It was a no hassle/frustration free financing experience. They gave us their best financing and it was their best and what we were wanting. It made the experience 100 times better than other dealerships that took 3-4 times to finally get to their best offer. I bought a 2016 Kia sorento because it was an IIHS top safety pick and I did not have a car at the time after getting in an accident. First the sales person pointed out the seat warmers and was not very knowledgeable about the safety feature (but I had already decided on the sorento or a Toyota highlander). Then they hardly negotiated on price, couldn't talk them down more than 5$/month on the payments and I am sure we overpaid. Plus the whole process took several hours, I should have just walked away and gone to Toyota. The most upsetting thing that I still get angry about 3 years later it immediately after purchasing my vehicle I experienced several problems. One a weird thumping noise that was not figured out or resolved until taking my car in SIX times. Then the radio display stopped working and require another trip to the service department to have it completely replaced. THANKFULLY I moved to Ohio and I love the KIA dealer in beavercreek (go there if you must buy a KIA). When I moved I found out the oil changes I prepaid for are only good at cartown KIA. I was not informed of this when purchasing so I'm out that money and have to pay for oil changes. I had a fuel I take valve go out, it was covered under warranty but still....I BOUGHT A NEW CAR to not have to deal with repairs and taking my car in. OVERALL I feel ripped off and dont feel like cartown really cares about customer satisfaction, just selling cars.

Somewhat disappointed with the service department. I've got a 2009 Rondo purchased from Cartoon. It has been religiously serviced there since purchased. Service to this point has been excellent however this week I called to ask where the door panel screws where located as I have to replace a mirror. They were busy and stated they would call me back. Two and a half hours later still no return call. still waiting for it. This is a very difficult department to reach.

I purchased a 2015 certified pre owned Kia Soul back in 2015, it currently has 93k miles on it. I recently noticed the car using oil between oil changes so, I take the car to the dealership for service. I waited at the dealership for approximately 4hours to be told that the car needs a new engine. The service department said the engine has excessive ring wear and scored cylinder walls, I was also told that I currently have 2 warranties on my vehicle but neither warranty covers oil consumption. Well if the rings didn’t have excessive wear and the cylinder walls were not scored the it wouldn’t be using oil. I have contacted Kia Consumer Affaires and still waiting on a response. No one from the dealership has contacted me either. This dealership is all over people when selling vehicles but no where to be found when it comes to standing by their not so fabulous warranty! Kia uses the 10 year / 100000 mile warranty as a MAJOR selling point but what good is it to their customers if they don’t stand behind it.? I will never purchase another vehicle from Kia and will NOT recommend them to anyone.

Well I was told the car was supposed to come with the remote start a guy named Forrest was the guy who helped us at car town kia and when I called and told them it didn't they said I would have to pay a lot of money to have it installed. Plus our monthly payments are super high. When I thought you all offered low payments. I have to say I really like Kenny cross he is an awesome guy. Plus my automatic truck opener isn't working.

Horrible Experience. They pursued me. Called me telling me I was pre-approved, and only needed $500 down, just to get there and they tell me no less than $1,200. Wasted my time and my day. To top it off, the person that constantly contacted me to get me to come in, set up and appointment with me, then never once showed her face while I was there. Car Town Kia has made our car buying experience fun! This is the second car we have bought from Car Town Kia and we will never go anywhere else. Our car salesman, JP Hunt, went above and beyond to make sure we found a car we loved and could afford. JP Hunt actually cared about our financial situation instead of his own sale. He worked hard with the banks to get us a great interest rate AND worked with insurance companies to help us save money on our car insurance (which he didn't have to do). He worked around our work schedule and pretty much brought the sale to us. We started looking at a 2015 Kia Optima but left with a brand new 2016 Kia Optima Hybrid. Since JP Hunt saved us so much money on our car insurance, gave us a great deal on the new car, and gave us a great trade in value, we were able to buy the BRAND NEW car for the price of what a used car would have cost us. A huge thanks to EVERYONE at Car Town Kia for all your help and my beautiful new car. Such a great team they have. Everyone from the salesman, to the financial department, to the detail workers were amazing and friendly. Thanks again and I'm sure we'll see you all again soon!!!

I've had problems with my Bluetooth system in my optima since I purchased my car in 2016. I've had my cad in the service department on 3 different occasions for this same issue. I've showed the service personnel video evidence of the problem that I've been having and the sales person who sold the car to me has even seen it and vouched for it needing repaired. Every time the service department looks at it, they say that they can't replicate it so they do nothing. The last time I had it in there was right before Thanksgiving last year. The service personnel (a guy who works in the office part of the service department) told me that there was an update coming put right after thanksgiving for the Bluetooth system. 2 weeks after thanksgiving I still hadn't received a call back about the update, I call and now it's going to be after Christmas. I call back again after new years, the update still hasn't came out. I called back yet again today, 2/22/2018, only to be told by a girl in the service department that there isn't an update coming out and she has never heard of an update supposed to be released. I called corporate and because I can't give them the name of the guy who had told me about the update that they can't do nothing about. So be warned that the service department will lie to you just to get you out the door so they don't have to do their job.

So their ad they run on the radio is a gemick. Its a trick to get you to their dealrship. They will not pay off your car no matter if you owe thousands more the its worth. So beware. Its all a lie and should be considered false advertising and lawsuit waiting to happen. All they going to do is like every other dealership and look at the car and roll the negative equity into the other car. They will not pay your car off. Its a joke and a lie. Buyer beware.

I called Cartown Kia today and was told that he no longer works there & that I needed to BUY the floor mats. Shouldn't I get floor mats for FREE?? I just spent thousands on the SUV! Smh. P. U. Needed a used car and my sister was helping me with the loan. We went to the credit union to get pre-approved. Once complete they handed us documents and a list of preferred vendors with whom they had pre-arranged to work. Car Town Kia was on the list and having driven a Kia as a company vehicle I was wanting to check out what they had. We got there and negotiated a 2010 Soul that one of the sales associates had recently traded. It was a 2nd owner vehicle and in conversation with the sales person I commented that it seemed clean and assumed that since it was an employee owned car service was up to date and performed in house. When then proceeded to spend 2-3 hours in the dealership signing lord knows what. We explained our pre-approval to the salesman, but never met anyone else at he dealership. At NO TIME does anyone from the finance department come out and present any paperwork. Why were there for so long is a mystery. I am told that the vehicle needs to clear some other banking issues and I am given a loaner. A week later I am told I can pick up my vehicle. And everything seems fine. I inquire at the credit union several times and no loan has come through. Over month expires and in early July I get a call from Car Town Kia saying I need to come in and sign loan papers. What? No, I don't. I was pre-approved and spent 2-3 hours in the show room signing papers...well I did, because Car Town never had me sign sales or loan papers. While in the showroom, waiting for paperwork that I was told was ready the day before I here a couple of sales associates talking. First guy calls the second guy over and says "Recognize that?"....Second employee says "Who's in it?"...After a brief exchange and a couple of times of saying "Who's in it?" The two start outside to look at the car and I here the previous owner say, "All, I know is that second gear is gone." I mention the conversation to the finance manager who of course wants to close the deal. They have a service tech drive the car around the block. When he gets back I ask him if he felt anything and mention some vibration I have felt in 2nd gear, but thought it was my absence from driving a manual. He says "No."...We discuss it some more and says it will be about an hour before they can get the car into the garage for a "diagnostic", which he says will "cost me." I respond that I am not paying for it based on the FUBAR situation created by Car Town Kia. At this point apparently the managers come out and take it for another VERY SHORT drive. I am told that the car is fine and there is no further diagnostic that can be done. Smells so fishy I walked out and left the car. I really liked the vehicle, I put 2 bumper stickers that I had been saving close to 20 years on it. But, I am not buying this vehicle and neither should you. #smellsfishy

After buying two cars through CarTown Kia, my over all experience was good, not great. In comparison to other dealerships I’ve worked with, I wouldn’t say they have the best customer service either. They are there strictly to sale cars, not for the important piece of the business such as the customer connection. The finance department was a bit over board with trying to add additional packages to my monthly payment and they are very pushy with trying to lock you into a buy. Other dealerships seem to value their customers, this dealership does not! I’ve also dealt with their service department and they’re not very helpful. The detailing on both of my new cars were awful! Ended up cleaning them again once I got home.
