We have a 2019 Crosstrek that was having a little trouble with the AC getting cold. The service center got it right in and took care of the problem. They were very professional and nice. The techs even vacuumed out our vehicle and washed it for us! This is our 3rd Subaru vehicle from Subaru of Wichita. We won’t go anywhere else!

Absolutely terrible experience. I was out on a Sunday running some errand so I thought I would shoot y the Subaru dealer and look at a car I was thinking about buying, the 2019 ascent. So I pull into the lot to ring that the dealer is closed which is okay I just figured I would get out and look at the cars on the lot. As soon as I get out of the car this alarm starts going off. I don’t think much of it, thinking it was a nearby business or something. So I kept walking the lot just looking at the cars, and then a voice on a loud megaphone starts yelling out that I am trespassing on the property and I need to leave immediately. At this point I realize the voice is coming from a megaphone posted on top of the dealership and that they are addressing me. So once I knew they were talking to me I left. It was embarrassing and rude and an absolute joke to do that to a customer who was in there looking to buy a car. Because of this I will no longer buy my car from this dealership and will take my business elsewhere. I will also never recommend this dealer to anyone.
Subaru of Wichita is a wonderful place. The staff is friendly ,and welcoming. They will go above and beyond in order to help you out and give you the best experience you can have. They completely replaced my engine and did an amazing job. Will definitely be coming back

Scott Thomas was amazingly helpful to me in a scary situation. I was away from home and by myself with car trouble. In a very tightly scheduled day he managed to fit me in and get my problem diagnosed. He truly went above and beyond for me and I truly did drive home happy. Love my Subaru and it’s people.
I love my Subaru and don’t plan on eating rid of it any time soon. However, I feel like I am being taken advantage of every time I go there for service. They tack on random things that don’t need to be done. I will buy a Subaru again but unlikely to go back for service.
The entire team i dealt with here treated me very kind and went the extra mile to make me happy with my purchase. They all were very forthcoming with info about my purchase and beyond. Sam Steele, Jimmy Bolden, Cary Lubbers and Steven Crafton were all apart of my process and each one of those guys were super informative and conscientious of me and my questions, however dumb some of them were. I am a first time buyer from a dealership and did not fill like i was sacrificing my pocket book in order to make the deal. I would recommend anyone to make this dealership their go-to to purchase a vehicle.

The people and service at Subaru of Wichita were great! I was there early and out early. The waiting room was clean and comfortable with good drinks and snacks. I have bought two cars here, and In ten years never had a bad experience or been disappointed with their attention to detail.
I took my car in to have some recalls taken care of on a Friday, and was called the next day to pick my car up. I was even given a rental for the time being. The service team was friendly, professional, and fast.

Smooth process with involved sales persons. Short delay in getting a 2nd key, but was accomplished in about 1 week.
The website showed they had several cars I was interested in. Upon arriving I was told they were in order and it would be about 2-3 weeks before they arrive. When I asked about the lack of Subaru selection I was told this was a marketing strategy of Subaru to keep cars in demand. I’m not sure if this is true or not. My sales guy was nice but the finance guy kept coming back to me with outrageous numbers and they tried to high pressure me into putting $500 non refundable down to reserve the cars coming in. I declined and said I would think about it. Once home I found out quickly they were about $3K higher than other Subaru dealerships and the outrageous payments were at 12% interest. They never ran my credit so I don’t know how they got those numbers. If they had a realistic price on the car and payment I probably would have reserved a car but I won’t be doing business with them because of this.
Way over priced. Trusted them to do honest work and they an extremely unfair price. They do not deserve to do business.

Subaru was very helpful and quick to remove the stain left on the seat after being serviced. But this is the great service they have always provided.
thanks SoW for the service video...our technician outlined the serviced as it was performed...we also appreciated the saturday service pizza bar while we waited. however, this is the second time that we have had to wait more than 2 hours for an oil change. it was necessary for us to cancel another appointment due to the unexpectedly long service time. as always, everyone there did their best to make our visit pleasant.

I appreciate the quick turn around time getting my airbag recall done. I also like the video inspection and recommendations. Everything including brake issues were done inside of 3 hours.

Subaru recalled my Outback for air bag. They scheduled based on my schedule and agreed to shuttle me home, as repair is 4 hours. Upon arrival, they gave me 2019 outback rental for free. More than friendly and welcome surprise compared to other dealers.

Really great place to buy a car. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy. Facilities are nice. Current road construction can make it a little bit of a pain to get to but that is not their fault. Just something to be aware of.

Shockingly positive experience. I’m always terrified to get service at a dealership, but I had a recall notice and was close to 60,000 miles. Mark Kerschen was very helpful in explaining what was recommended, along with up front pricing and his opinions on what could maybe wait a while. I got a loaner super quick so I could get to work, and then a few hours later he sent me a video of my car being worked on explaining what they found, what they were doing, and what else I may need. That was such a time saver!
You are one of several people waiting while auto is being service, but you always feel like you are special with your car taking personal care. Waiting area is comfortable and your assigned service rep is attentive and personable and keeping you advised along the way. Thank you Subaru. Original Review: I’ve been here about 3 times and I always schedule an appointment for my oil change instead of just showing up because I don’t want to have to wait a long time. At my last visit I made an appointment for 11am. My husband and I, along with our kids, got there at 10:45am and didn’t get our vehicle back until almost 2pm. It was a horribly long wait and I had my 3 little kids with me so it was rough for them too. Then when they gave me my vehicle back the speedometer all of a sudden wasn’t working and it was working just fine prior to my appointment, plus this vehicle is brand new so nothing should be wrong with it. So I had to turn back around, come back to Subaru, and have them fix the speedometer. It was just a nightmare. To have to wait 3 hours for a simple oil change to be done is excessive and exhausting and honestly very frustrating considering the fact that I had a scheduled appointment. What’s the point of scheduling an appointment if you’re going to have to wait for hours anyways? Then to also have to turn around and come back so they can fix whatever they messed up with the speedometer was even more frustrating. And no explanation was given as to why it took so long or why the speedometer wasn’t working. Just overall a very disappointing experience.
We bought an Ascent from Subaru of Wichita yesterday. We are from the KC area and the dealers in KC didn’t have the trim level we were interested in. I checked the inventory on their site and saw two possibilities. Since we were visiting family in Wichita anyway I contacted the dealership and spoke with Emily. When I explained we were from out of town Emily got with her manager and we agreed on a price within minutes over the phone - subject to seeing the vehicles. Emily had both cars waiting for us side by side once we got there. We chose the interior color we wanted and made the deal. Everyone at the dealership was extremely helpful and had us out the door in no time in our new Ascent. We’ve only had a day with the vehicle so far but we love it!

Mark was very polite. Explained everything very well, and gave me a timeline for when things would be done. When the timeline was not going to work, he came in and found me and explained the delay and apologized. Very friendly atmosphere that made the wait fine. Very good place.

After telling us we need to have soecific maintenance done on a leased vehicle (may) we called their office 10 times and had to wait until the last week of September to be called back and scheduled. When the car was taken in forthe maintenance we were called back and said that everything was complete and we are able to pick upthe vehicle; upon arrival we were informed no maintenance was preformed and that we must wait a few more hours for it to be done. This place has been nothing but q rude and dead end goose chase so far. We will see if they do anything on the next completion call.

Sale was agreed with 500 down payment. I live out of town so they took advantage of this and begun to renegotiate the sale to line their pockets. If you shake a mans hand on a sale I feel you should stick to that deal.

Other than the 2 hour long wait it was fine. I didn't have an appointment but Usually it doesn't take so long for an oil change. They sent me a text message to watch a video from the mechanic but it wasn't loud enough to hear on most of it. Good popcorn and nice selection of drinks free while waiting. There were cookies as well. I am gluten free so I didn't eat any.
Great experience! The service department gave me a list of my suggested service with prices, before they did anything. I was able to choose which Services I was going to get within my budget. And now I have a list of services I can have done on my next Oil Change. Love that they are polite and easy to work with!

Subaru issued a recall on a brake light switch. Subaru of Wichta finished the replacement a few minutes less than estimated while I waited in their comfortable waiting area. The people were professional and friendly.
Service dept has really struggled the past couple of years. They’ve changed a lot of personnel and are getting better but not all the way there yet. This week I had work done for a recall and told them when I needed it finished. Ten minutes before the time I specified, they called and said they hadn’t started. Yet I was one of the first to drop off my car that day. Quality of the work seems okay.

I had a great experience buying a new car at Subaru of Wichita. Brie was the one who worked with me and she was very helpful, even before I walked in the door (I had spoken to her on the phone a few days in advance). Everyone there was really great about answering my questions, even the simple ones. The best thing was that the process was very easy and streamlined. I was so nervous going into it because it was my first time buying a brand new car, but everyone is so helpful and genuine, and they really take care of their customers. It was a great experience and I LOVE my new Subaru Crosstrek!
I am once again thrilled with my experience here! These guys are honest and go over and above expectations. I came in to prep my vehicle for a road trip. I was expecting one issue with my SUV and they found that it was no big deal and fixed my problem with a good cleaning. They fixed a minor recall thing that I wasn't even aware of. And they fixed a small window inconvenience I'd gotten so used tp that I'd forgotten to mention it. The folks at Subaru do a fantastic job and are straight up in their dealings. We own a 2017 Outback, and have a service agreement that includes oil changes for three years. The first oil change they handed me a bill even though I’m sure they had record of my service agreement in the computer, plus, to be sure, I showed my copy. I wrote this off as a simple mistake. When this happened on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th oil changes, I am angry and disgusted. I am not impressed at all with your service writers. We love our Outback, but our first Subaru may be our last, and it won’t be the cars fault. Update:: Subaru of Wichita has been in touch with me several times, and I believe they are trying very hard to resolve this problem. I genuinely believe that they would like as much as me to have a smoother service experience. I think, hope, and expect that they will get this accomplished.

My brand new 2012 Forester has burned over 2 quarts of oil between changes since the day I bought it, and nothing has been done to fix it. My factory installed remote start has had to be reprogrammed TWICE, and it now needs to be reprogrammed AGAIN. Now that it is OUT of warranty, supposedly they know how to FIX it, at MY COST. A brand new car should not burn ANY oil, and items that fail while under warranty should be REPAIRED under warranty, NOT DELAYED until the warranty expires.
My husband and I bought our first new vehicle from Subaru a few weeks ago! Great service from start to finish and now we are officially a Subaru family. Make sure to ask for Jimmy!!

The employees here really do everything they can to help make your experience at the Body Shop side go as smoothly and quickly as possible. I found that they repaired my car quickly and even washed it!
I had engine trouble in Wichita and it turned the repair would cost more than my was worth. The closest dealer who would look at my car is also owned by the person who owns this Subaru dealership. The two dealerships worked together and I was in a new Outback approx 48 hours after the process began. I'm delighted with the courtesy and helpfulness of all involved, as well as my now safe and reliable car.

I have had a recurring A/C problem. I worked with many different members of the service team and everyone has been direct, timely, and friendly. When I had to return my car to the shop Mark listened to my frustrations and gave me the help with my warranty to cover most of the repairs. They really go above and beyond to assist their customers. Car repairs can be frustrating but with Subaru's service team you will feel taken care of and can depend on a job well done.

My visit at Subaru Wichita for a recall issue on my 2013 Outback was a most pleasurable experience. All employees were quick to offer very good service and I left with complete satisfaction. I encourage others to trust and use Subaru of Wichita. Subaru is the best!

I haven't been back since I paid to have an oil change and asked for a wash and detail and check all filters. When they finally answered my multiple messages they threatened me with storage fees. They claimed they had called a week prior for pickup. When I picked up the car 1) left rear tire was flat. 2) car hadn't been washed nor detailed. 3) the engine air filter nor cabin air filter had been checked. I know this because the filters had dates written on them from prior owner. 4) oil drain plug was loose enough to leave a puddle of oil in the lot. 5) staff was extremely rude to anyone not purchasing a 2018/19 subaru. If this is Subaru I'll never own another. Customer service is non existent. And apparently the service department staff is lacking quality leadership. If you cant trust a Subaru dealer with your Subaru there's a big problem.

Subaru offers top notch customer service! I am so impressed with my entire car buying experience. My 04 Buick finally became unfixable. I contacted top rated dealerships all over the city for help. I was always laughed at when I said my budget was 20 grand. At the Buick dealership down the street, the cars salesman couldn't answer any of my questions about the car I was interested in and he even told me he couldn't help me unless I paid more. When I walked into Subaru, I was expecting the same treatment I got at the other 4 dealerships I visited during the week. I was pleasantly surprised when I was greeted at the door by 3 smiling sales people. Emilee was quick to offer me options that were all in my budget that fit my needs. She was incredible knowledgeable, empathetic, and kind. By the end of it, she helped get me into a brand new Forester in my budget. It was more than I could possible ever hope or dream of. This dealership and their entire team is best in the area. I'm beyond impressed and will be a loyal Subaru customer for life.

Service was quick. Love the new feature they have, they video the engine and under carriage narrating as they go about what they see and what could be wrong. The only negative is the service is a little pricey.

Hands down, this was our best car buying experience. Every single person we interacted with was friendly, kind, and helpful. I had done a lot of research before test-driving and they respected my preferences and decisions - never getting pushy. They spoke to me (not just my husband) and were patient about answering questions and giving us time to thing and review options. They didn't waste my time and I didn't have to haggle. The customer service has been superb and I'll likely only buy from Subaru moving forward.

Had to get my brake light recall done on my Subaru Crosstrek Saturday June 29th. It did take a bit long but they did say it would take 1.5 to 2 hrs to complete the recall. As I was driving my car back home something fell and hit my foot as I was driving...it was a 14 mm wrench. Tool inventory by Subaru's mechanic lacked a bit. So after this review Subaru of Wichita's Service Manager called me to address my concern. He wanted to make things right, so we agreed to a free oil change and a free tire rotation. I increased my customer satisfaction from a three to a five. Many thanks for making this right!
I had a noise coming from the rear of my 2018 crosstrek. They got it in and found that both rear wheel bearings were bad. The tech sent a video of the diagnosis and other recommendations, the repairs were made and I had my car back the same day. The only complaint that I would have and keeping my visit from 5 stars was that it took a while to get my appointment scheduled. This was due to the fact that I needed a loaner. Obviously they only have so many for customer use. However, if i am told that you will call me back in a couple hours and I have to call back at the end of the day, stop by, and call back the following day to get the appointment scheduled, it is a little frustrating. Communication with customers by the service advisor is key. Now with that being said, the service advisor I dealt with was very knowledgeable and got everything taken care of as needed. And I would deal with him again although I hope that I dont have to take my car back for service for a long time. And my car was cleaned and vacuumed out when i got in to leave.
I have loved every part with working with Subaru! From buying my car Demetrius was great. My first service on the car was super easy and quick! I cannot remember who was helping me...but he was great! They send a video of services being done just another customer service touch. Everyone is so awesome at Subaru I recommend everyone look into getting a Subaru you won’t be disappointed in the vehicle or the people helping.

Subaru is a place of excellent service and genuine caring. I’m confident that I can trust and believe what they tell me; my choices are explained, and what’s entailed in service visits and the advise as to what to wait on and what to fix immediately are provided. As a past employee, I KNOW a good deal more, for instance; what the values and mindsets are, and that they are the same behind closed doors as they are on the surface. They’re open and honest, with sincere concern for the satisfaction of their patrons. There is a motto of “No Sharks” and TEAM WORK rather than competition - a servant attitude that is rare and unexpected in this industry, and the intent to treat all patrons as they would treat their own family members. Knowing their motives is knowing EVERYTHING. The day I showed up to interview 4 years ago, one of the young salesmen came out to open the door for me, they continued to treat me with friendship and respect as I worked beside them, and greet me with the same hospitality two years after I’ve changed vocations. I was in yesterday for service, and the sales staff were meeting. The sales floor wasn’t open yet, but when I ventured outside to look at cars, Colin broke loose to ask if I needed any help. Two or three times while I waited for my car, someone came to offer me a drink, Scott Thomas came and let me know when the car was almost done and said he’d come find me when it was. Colin asked Spencer to draw me up a “what if” quote for my daughter to lease or buy used, pointing out the pros and cons for HER in particular. Everyone has different needs and assets. They will take this into consideration and advise you accordingly! The time flew by, and I left feeling attended to, well taken care of, and equipped with the info I needed to help my daughter start to ponder a tough decision. No high pressure; just education, details, and some sound advice and service! Thank you, Subaru!

My wife and I bought a used 2017 Outback back in Oct. 2018. It was the first time either of us had purchased a car from a dealer and I have to say it was a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and helpful and the salesman wasn't pushy. I have always heard terrible things about other dealers regarding the salesman pressuring you into buying a vehicle just because they are trying to make a sale. I did not feel pressured whatsoever and I felt like the staff was genuinely trying their best to get my wife and I the best deal possible. I have always been a Toyota guy, but our Subaru has been one of the best purchases we have made.

Here's a 'shout out' to Jimmy Beldon and his colleagues at Subaru of Wichita. They're very knowledgeable, not the kind of folks to pressure you for a sale, friendly, and thorough in explaining features and options. Their approach was refreshing given what I had encountered at other dealerships. I'd highly recommend you consider Subaru (great vehicles!) and Subaru of Wichita. If you're just thinking about an upgrade, at least stop by and let them help you explore your options.

We have had a great buying experience with Super Car Guys in Wichita. We bought our car and noticed the front tires were pretty worn so they offered to put them on at no extra charge to us. Everyone was super friendly and helpful.

My last experience with Subaru of Wichita and Subaru as a whole left me questioning if I would buy a Subaru again. My 30,000 mile service ran about $450. In addition the I have something else that is needing serviced that feels as though it should be under warranty. They are saying it doesn’t. I looked up the part online and it runs $80-120 but the want to charge me $1500 for the part and repair. Not sure I will stay with Subaru.
Everyone there is always so courteous and thoughtful. We also enjoyed getting the email video of the work that was done and doing the check points. He even showed me how to adjust the back hatch door so it would raise higher up when it is opened. Good info to have. The person who drove me to work was also exceptional. My only disappointment when I picked up my car was, that it hadn't been washed. Your staff is normally very gracious about doing that after it has been in your Service Dept, which has always been a big hit with us. But, as far as the recall service goes, that was handled fine. Thanks for always having such great service advisors to assist us all the time!
This sales team sets the bar high on how to treat customers. They are friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and most importantly conduct sales transparently. They go out of their way to find the right vehicle for the customer. Even if you can't find one from their lot! They will HELP you find one for the perfect fit. So if you're not crazy or unreasonable you will love how they treat customers.

I originally came to the lot to look at a car that had just sold, but a young lady there named Brie welcomed us in and found us another car that was perfect for me. She did a great job! I am a broke college student and the people here treated me fairly and worked with me to get my ride. Everyone here was open and honest which made my first car buying experience better than I imagined. I will definitely be coming back to them!
Justin Sheffler and Sam Steele were fantastic! I was dreading car shopping, especially when I wasn’t 100% sure if I even wanted to buy a new car, but I have no complaints about my experience. Justin went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy and did his best to make sure the dealership could meet my demands for my brand new car. He handled my indecisiveness with great patience (I was driving myself nuts, so I can only imagine how he felt). Sam made sure my paperwork and financing went through seamlessly and that I understood everything. In general, it’s a laid back dealership— salesmen don’t swarm you as soon as you enter the parking lot and nobody tries to pressure you into buying. There’s still a few borderline corny introductions here and there to make sure you’re happy and feeling valued, but it’s quick and painless. Overall, I’m very happy with my experience and would absolutely go back!

This is the second car I ha e bought from Super Car Guys. These guys are the best. They do everything they can to do find rhe exact car you want with the payments that you can afford. I know the lot on Broadway and Pawnee is the only one I have been to but I will look there first when I need or want another car. I highly recommend them.
