As you can see it has an average rating is very good, and it is based on a very high number of opinions, so we can think that the valuation is quite credible. If people have bothered to give their review when they are pleased with the business, it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to set scores when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Rent Cars belongs to the category of Chevrolet dealer.
The only "gripe" I might have is that 2 hours AFTER I left from my oil change, I got an email with a coupon for a reduced price on the oil change. It would have been nice to have that BEFORE the appointment but such is life. Overall they were terrific. Got me right in and out, very friendly and an overall good experience.
I bought a Buick Enclave two weeks ago. My salesman, Chris Thomsen, was extremely attentive & spent almost 2 hours making sure I understood how to work all the "gadgets". When I decided to put in vinyl rather than carpet floor mats, Jeff in parts not only ordered them for next day delivery, but also installed them for me. I had a great experience buying my new car at Longbine Chevrolet Buick.
I would not take anything to to longbine again and if there level of professionalism and responsibility the set standard of all chevrolet and gm dealer repair shops across country id highly doubt ill be in another dealership for repair on my truck. I had a break down nearby when my radiator failed and was mixing transmission fluid into coolant. Longbine was set to replace radiator and flush cooling system. I have a 2005 chevy 3500 dually with the 6.6 duramax. 2 days later I get my truck back making a noise that prior to repair didnt make. I postponed shipments that I was scheduled for to get truck back to my mechanic in Wisconsin who on inspection of the noise found a screw from a intake clamp in my turbo. Upon contacting the service manager about the issue 1st thing he denied touching intake at all to replace the radiator. Intake is a s&b cold air with s&b mouth piece. Then retracted saying service tech did remove intake box and I dont no how thats would be possible to do without removing the intake tube and filter as the intake box is mounted internally with 10mm bolts.. Upon discussion with attorneys involved they still denied any wrong doings. Which after discussion with my attorney the matter will be taken up with small claims court as well as complaints filed with the better business bereau. I would not take anything to them wether it be a oil change.. If it comes to buying a new vehicle I will take my money to ford or dodge first. Thanks to longbine my faith and business within the chevy family will be tarnished.. As I stated to service manager I live by doing a good job for my customers and aim to see 100% satisfaction if ever there is a issue I go above and beyond expectations to make them happy .. This customer is beyond dissatisfied with the longbine dealership. I do hot shot transport and was talking to a salesman about a newer truck within 3 months. Guess ill look at ford and dodge dealers across the country for a more stand up dealership that takes pride in there name. Not take advantage of the customers and do shotty service repair.. And looking now at reviews I see I wasnt the only customer dissatisfied with there service department .
Really appreciated your help with the warranty work that was needed to be done. Felt Chris really went to bat for us to help get the needed repairs for our vehicle. Very impressed with the service that we have received these last few times we have been in for service work. Lots better than past experiences.
Looking at used cars, "window shopping".
work was completed promptly
Called Charles about a truck I saw online. He was going to be out of town so he put me in touch with James. Also talked to Russ and Jay. All great people to work with and no pressure. I always hate sitting around the dealership for 2 hours after you make the deal waiting to get into finance. That is not a problem at Longbine, I waited maybe 10 minutes. It's worth the drive from KC to deal with nice people.
You gave us excellent service from just dealing over the phone. We love love our '58 Chev Impala 2 Door Hardtop and so does everyone else
awesome sales and service
Got a used vehicle from Longbine and within the first 30 days vehicle was in the shop twice. They would not stand by their product they sold us and wouldn't cover the thousand dollar bill for the brakes that had just gone out. I highly recommend not going to this place customer service was very rude. Will never let the mechanics here even look at one of my vehicles. Biggest mistake I made was buying a car from this place!
An excellent job. Everything is working, Heating and Cooling.
All services were done very well. Would refer people to use them. Roger Kennedy
I have been doing business with Longbine Chevrolet Buick in Emporia, Kansas for many years and have never had any reason to rate this company lower than 5 stars. Salesmen are not high pressure individuals and the service department is second to none. Need a new or used vehicle? I highly recommend this great company.
On our route from New York to New Mexico driving my 2011 Chevrolet Traverse the vehicle started to run hot. We were on our way to National Championship Mountain bike race and had little time. Luckily we were only a few miles away from Longbine Chevrolet and able to drive in. After explaining my story they dropped everything and had my Traverse repaired in under two hours! Wow I have worked in the automotive business in the past but never experienced this level of service. From the service writer to the mechanic, everyone was extraordinary. I wish they were my local dealer!
Poor, Poor, Poor, if I could would rate no Stars. Did not finish the work properly! My Spark Air conditioning was not recharged properly after a transmission change under warranty. When I was returning to Texas the AC started blowing warm air and now you are telling me you can't talk with the dealer in San Antonio, TX to fix this problem. It is a WARRANTY deal not fixed right! Can't really understand why GM DEALERS can't talk to each other and get this fixed....like I am going back to Emporia, KS when I live in San Antionio, TX. All I need is the dealer in San Antonio to re-charge the AC correctly!
Salesman pleasant but calling too often.
I would not buy from this dealer cause they will tell you your credit is fine and run the credit app and will tell you that you need money down.. This dealer is a joke!!!
Crappy place. I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire. I wouldn't recommend anyone go there. They give you the run around and lie to you.
They left the cap off of the antifreeze reservoir
Fantastic deal on a used Jeep. Thanks
I used to like Longbine tell me what to buy a car for my wife and they screwed us over that I decided not to go there anymore so I started looking elsewhere the bank even showed us different dealership some places to go to buy vehicles by better quality vehicles
Everyone I dealt with was very polite. Car was done earlier than expected :) Thanks
Great experience
Great car buying experience
Love
Service lacking! My car was picked up @8:30am for an oil change and was not returned till after 2pm, 20 minutes before I leave for work. Extremely annoyed.
Chris Thomsen helped us get our first brand new car we were going in super nervous so we didnt know what to expect finally picking out the car we got sent home in the new car since they were doing financial numbers to get us the best deal we came back this morning numbers were higher than we wanted but Rick Nunez didnt give up we looked at another vehicle just in case that was the best but in the end Rick got us a GREAT deal on the car we wanted so great we couldn't pass so we took it! I would suggest you stop at longbine and see chris and Rick because they really do care and listen to your concerns and want to help you out!
I have an Equinox that has had some problems with burning a lot of oil. There was a special coverage for this problem but I had to do an oil consumption test, there was an issue when I had my oil changed there but the service manager immediatly responded to the problem. I was pretty upset and didnt want to go back but I had to, to do the test. When the test was over it was a very close call on whether my vehicle was covered or not, the service manager took a second look and said because it is so close, we will honor it. They put me in a brand new vehicle to drive while we waited on the part and repair. They kept me informed of the status of the order and repair and called me when they noticed a problem with a different part and waived the labor fees since they were already in the engine. I didnt even buy my car from there and they have treated me so well. My husband bought a truck froma different dealership a few months ago and it's having problems already and I was planning to buy my next vehicle from a different dealership but we will definitely look at Longbine before we go anywhere else.
Excellent customer service....during AND after the sale! I wouldn't hesitate to buy a used car there...this is my second one, in fact...
Chris over in the service department at the Chevy dealer, and his crew did a outstanding job! Helped my wife with a rental, told her which hotels were best when we had a blown transmission got it done quickly, and got her back home. Hands down best service we’ve ever had in a service department. I’d give this Chris guy, and his entire crew 100 stars! My hat goes to all these guys! Thanks again everyone!!!!!!!
Fast friendly service.
Longbine Auto is always pleasant and is prompt with service.
Good, friendly service rep with fast, complete job performance.
I took my 2016 Travers in for an oil change and the service was great as always....from the gentlemen in the service drive up area to the payment area.
On a recent holiday visitation in Emporia from our home in Oklahoma, my daughter's defroster quit working. On the day after Thanksgiving, I called the service department and spoke with a very courteous and helpful gentleman named Scott. After explaining to him our dilemma, he assured me that they could work her car in and make the necessary repairs that same day! He also gave me a very reasonable estimate for the cost of the repair.. I would highly recommend Longbine Auto Plaza's Service Department. They performed above and beyond the call of duty!
Great experience and good service from everyone at longbine auto plaza
Just had a regular service done all went well. I am always treated well when I go to Longbine never have had a problem.
Love going to Longbine for all service needs! Quick and efficient and customer service is dependable! Love the people!
Great dealership to work with. Service always tries to get to our vehicles in a timely manner and are very responsive. Communication is great, and prices are hard to beat!
Best dealership in the midwest. If you want the down home feel and great people, this is the place to go. They have always went above and beyond to help my family and I for over 15 years. This is a total team effort here at Longbine, give them a shot and you will not be dissapointed.
Salesmen are way too pushy and don't listen or respect your request not to be hounded with phone calls. Will never go back after two different experiences like that.
Always a pleasant experience. This time was no exception!!
Service department has always correctly diagnosed and repaired my various vehicles, including a Grand Caravan. Have also gotten loaner car from them when they're available
No pressure at all. Good people! Fair pricing. Free popcorn and soda while you wait. Love this place ❤️♥️♥️!
never a complaint and been going there for 25 years
My wife and I went in to buy a new Silverado 1500 they had on their website for $10,000 off and we showed up and got the total run around. The salesman (I don't remember his name) acted like that price wasn't real and that truck was probably sold. Notice there were plenty of other dealers around that had trucks at similar prices, we just wanted to keep our business local. We sat around for almost 3 hours for them trying to "find the truck" and showing us different trucks with less discounts. Finally the manager, Rick, came out and said if we wait around for a few days he can get us a truck with a $9,000 discount. It was all smoke and mirrors and wow, Rick - what a guy. Worst customer service and biggest ego-head I have ever met. There are a lot of nice car dealers out there but LONGBINE IS NOT ONE OF THEM.
Great staff great cars
It is not always about price..... When looking into purchasing a car from a dealership, there are many people behind the scenes (workers) who aid in your decision on which dealership to go with. This would be the case with Charles Davis at Longbine Auto Plaza. Due to his commitment to excellent customer service, the decision was made to purchase a car from this Chevy dealership over 3 others within a 300 mile radius. My decision was based upon the great overall customer service, I have experienced over last 15 years in their service department as well as the body shop. It had absolutely nothing to do with the sales manager. At the end of the day, I knew the service after the sale could not be beaten by another Chevy dealership.
We've had a couple issues with the service department. I travel frequently for work, to the tune of 30,000 miles a year. Last year the manufacturer recommended spark plug changes. They didn't have the correct spark plugs and contemplated not putting the non-GM kind in. They decided to put them in any way since I was leaving for Colorado pulling a trailer the following day. I ended up stopping in McPherson to get the correct plugs put in the next day because my truck was missing so bad I couldn't even go the speed limit. It wasn't that big of a deal, Longbine said they would pay the $400 repair bill I had at Midway in McPherson. They gave me a credit since I frequent there for oil changes. I jokingly - but not really - asked if it was going to be a deal where I go to get my oil changed and they have no record of my credit. They said, absolutely not. I was told just to come see him if anyone had any issues. I go in for my next oil change, the guy isn't there. I have a business partner take it in. He calls me saying they have no record of a credit there. I said, just pay it, I'll deal with it later because I had a trip to Kansas City planned the next day and I don't have time for it. After some investigating they called and said that they would just send a check so there is not another confusion. I was perfectly fine with that. Next issue I had a scheduled oil change and I told them I would have my business partner drop off the vehicle at 7 or 730. I was already over my oil change and had a business trip planned the following day. He dropped off my vehicle before they opened. Usually I would get a call with an update. In my business, if I have a client miss a schedule I call them shortly after the scheduled appointment to see if we need to reschedule. It was after lunchtime when I called to get an update. Meanwhile my business partner missed his lunch because he didn't have a vehicle. The guy was unaware we dropped it off while it was sitting there. It was a different guy than I was used to dealing with. The other guy seemed like he was always on his game. He said, Oh, I'm sorry about that. Let's reschedule a time. I said, No Thanks and I'll have him come pick up the truck. We both received calls. He told them you should probably not be calling me to apologize, but him to apologize. I received a phone call and was told it's water under the bridge and they will cover my next oil change. In my mind that wasn't really an apology. I told them "No Thanks" I already dropped my vehicle off in Kansas City for an oil change and got a loaner for the day. After going back to where I purchased my vehicle I will not be going back there. I've always been torn since moving back to my home town from Kansas City and supporting our local businesses. I am about due for a purchase of a new vehicle and I won't be purchasing from Longbine. As I am not losing sleep over the issue and I am really not that upset, I still won't be going back. It's easier for me to have my original dealership call to schedule a time, drop it off, get my equivalent loaner, do my work and pick up my truck at the end of the day, have a detail included and a bottle of water sitting in my cup holder. I don't have to do anything. It's like they want my business.....
When I called for an appt.I received the time and date i wanted. When arriving at Longbine, I was treated very courteously. the service was done promply, with a very nice place to wait.
The best service and dealership in town. They always meet my needs and address my concerns. The service is the best I have had in my 20 years of car ownership.
Just looking. Nice selection of trucks
Curtious folks here!
Be prepared to break out the bank. Service is questionable depending on who helps you.
Bought a truck
Great service and great customer service. The employees are wonderful. I trust the service staff to do a great job on my vehicle. I can depend on Longbine.
Very positive experience!
Service department there sucks ass!!!
I recently purchased a car at Longbine and am all-around very pleased with my experience and my purchase. The people there took the time to listen to what I wanted and were able to deliver. I appreciated how several staff members went out of their way to accomodate me. I will be returning to Longbine for servicing my car and future purchases.
