I purchased a 2015 Honda Accord from Nick Williams at Kia Lawrence. It was a great experience. After the purchase, the starter stopped working so I brought the car back to Kia who solved the problem for me for free. I received very professional service from them. Even after the purchase, Nick Williams kept me in contact for the following month to make sure everything is alright. Caveat: Sometimes the price shown online is after discount which most of you might not be qualified for. So pay attention to the online prices.

Lawrence Kia is awesome! After a few weeks of research, I purchased a brand new 2019 Kia Forte yesterday and had the pleasure of working with Destiny in sales. She was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. She also ensured that I got the best deal possible, especially when it came to negotiating my trade-in. The gentleman in finance was also incredibly nice (I feel bad that I can’t recall his name!), as was the sales manager who came by to make sure I was having a satisfactory experience. Although I didn’t opt to sign up for insurance under Allstate, the lady who helped me there was great, too. Overall, I would highly recommend this dealership if you’re in the market for a Kia!

I was mislead and taken advantage by Kira the salesman and Mario in financing while purchasing my first vehicle. I wish I had someone to go with me to help me through the process and to ask the necessary questions that have left me in a bad contract with 2010 vehicle that has too many miles (116,XXX ) and paying a total of $19,910. The contract doesn’t have the correct miles ( 49,889) and the color of the vehicle is wrong when I called to correct it since I have warranty through Wynn’s Plus ( which none of this was gone over with me in addition to the $1,500 warranty an additional $500 to Lawrence Kia not sure what for again none of this was gone over ) they said they couldn’t fix the contract.......... so the warranty says I have 24/m or 24,000 miles all based around 49,889 miles and not the actual mileage 115178 ( at time of purchase).... I’ve called and called and Kira is no help she does nothing more then pick a vehicle and Mario seems to never be at his desk, I love out of town so it’s not as simple as driving right up there to inquire about my vehicle and contract and all the details that should have been gone over when and before I purchased the vehicle. However I was told that after 14 days it’s too late and there’s nothing I can do but pay off a high mileages over priced vehicle. I’ve learned and still am learning how to buy my 2 vehicle ( no time soon) and the necessary questions to ask and proper steps to take before jumping into a bad contract. I wanna thank Lawrence Kia for that.

Really bad experience! Used me as a pawn in their price game. My interest in a vehicle was used against me and the eventual buyer of the car. The eventual buyer already had made a deposit on a car a I drove an hour to come see and test drive. All they wanted me for was to tell the other customer that they had major interest from another potential buyer (me)! UNETHICAL GROUP- TOTAL SCAM!

Such an inefficient place, if you want to check out a car and then buy it, be prepared to wait at least 4hours +. Everything is so slow, if you ask the sales rep a question, he/she has to get up and ask the manager, every-single-time. Been waiting in the lobby for 3 hours right now, not even water has been offered in my entire time here.

Bought a SUV yesterday. Super easy process from the time I entered until finalizing purchase. Hunter, Sarah and Mario were all a friendly, professional, knowledgable sales and financing team. . Receptionist was also great.
We bought a 2 year old vehicle from Lawrence Kia that we were told was is excellent shape. We drove three hours to get it and it had problems the moment we got it home. It started making terrible grinding sounds and the engine would flash an engine warning about powertrain issues. When this was happening the vehicle would lurch and try to die at stops and not accelerate above 40 miles. It was taken to a mechanic 5 times in the two months we have owned it. Lawrence Kia has been aware of all of this and the 2 different mechanics they sent us to can't fix the problem. Kia refuses to take this broken vehicle back and refund us our money even though they guaranteed us before buying the car that it was in great shape. Long story short they sold us a vehicle it not safe to drive and they won't do the right thing and take it back and refund our money.
Buying a car is a long and stressful process. Nick took the time to find us the right car that fit our needs. He made the process easy and less stressful. I highly recommend going through him if you plan to buy a car.

So, here's the deal. I bought a Toyota here several years ago. They were phenomenal then. I've sent a couple dozen people their way in the years since. When you search online they're quick to call, follow up, and help. But, something has seriously gone wrong with the in-store experience! First, they act like they don't know you and waste an hour collecting info they already have on file for you. They don't want you browsing cars and insist on bringing everything up front to you. The car we looked at had bald tires, missing the coolant cap, broken mount for washer fluid fill. They can't tell you if the car has a spare key or just one, until you finance. They have you sign some paper about a military discount and finance discount, only to tell you that the online price is already the best price with those baked in. And, talking on the phone with salesperson, he tells his manager that we're a repeat customer and we can hear the manager yell back, "I don't give a fk what they've bought from us before!" Well, I guess it's clear what they think of their customers, so no point in trying to buy here again!!! UPDATE: 1. Apparently you don't note the DATE for a review! This was posted BEFORE you offered your explanation. 2. Funny that you call a person's willingness to hear your explanation "curious". 3. Some of your explanations in your reply here do NOT match what you said on the phone, such as your explanation of military and finance discounts. 4. Me "insisting" on seeing the car before service is an outright LIE! Your team SCHEDULED an appointment for me to see this car and it was NOT serviced and ready at that time! Thanks for reinforcing my points with further dishonesty!

We were very close to finish a deal with the agent that we were negotiating with, while another guy just jumped into our conversation and made our deal not to happen. I do not know what was wrong with him. The agent himself was a patient, super nice guy but we were offended by the way the other guy treated the deal which was almost done. I was told that people at this dealership are professional but I am totally disappointed today.
Overall mostly a waste of time traveling hours to this dealership. They do not honor their internet pricing. Several rebates are all included in the "dealer discount" advertised online. Most likely most buyers will not qualify for all of the rebates. Absolute worst part was they had ZERO cars available for the advertised price! if you were the unicorn that qualified for all the multiple rebates, you are rewarded with no car to buy. Pretty sleazy car sales tactic. Two stars are for the professional sales person Marty, I kinda felt bad he worked so hard for a deal that was actually impossible to make. ZERO stars for the sales manager with ZERO cars for sale at the advertised price. It was hard not to laugh when he finally admitted Zero cars for sale at the advertised price. Brian Schroeder

Agreed to a price with Kimbre via text. Told them I could not go over a certain price because was paying cash. Kimbre talked to sales manager and told me if I came in they would honor agreed price after driving an hour to get to dealership and test driving vehicle I sat down to purchase. The sales manager came over and told me they could not honor price even though I showed him the text messages. It was just a scam to get me to come in. He would not come down $400 so I left and will never do business there again and will steer everyone clear of this dealership. Do not trust Kia Lawrence.
Great place to purchase a new or used vehicle. I worked with MJ the sales associate and he was very professional and answered all of my questions. I especially like the lifetime powertrain warranty for used vehicles. That is hard for any other dealership to beat! I will definitely check Lawrence Kia first before I purchase my next vehicle anywhere else.

Be careful getting your oil changed here I had the plastic and metal piece under my car RIP out because they didnt put all the plugs and bolts back on. I know this because there is only one plug holding my plastic under the hood on when they were all there before I got my oil changed.
We recently purchased a Kia Sedona from Nick Williams and he did a great job finding something we loved. We purchased a vehicle that had not yet been through inspection. He initially told us it would take 5-7 days before we would be able to pick it up but to our surprise it was ready for pick up two days later. Fast, enjoyable experience. in the last 2 weeks Kia of Lawrence has drastically taken advantage of my elderly mother. After a routine oil change, her car started leaking oil. She took it back and they realized they hadn't closed the dipstick into the motor and oil was all over. they told her that wasnt the leak and to bring it in for more. they gave her a 500 Bill saying her oil pan and valve were bad. Those are things that are checked during the routine oil change. they will not fix it even though this was their mistake. Now she is missing her windshield washer fluid container, they completely forgot to put it back in and she was told they dont see one around so too bad. this place is using routine maintenance appointments to screw elderly people into more money on repairs. she is not the only one. please reach out to me as we are collecting others that they have done this to for a lawsuit.

Took my KIA Sportage in today for an oil change...this was the first since I bought it. I didn't make an appointment because I thought it was one of those quick lane things. Since they can be super busy I would highly suggest an appointment. Scott Essex got me hooked up anyway. I think I challenged him a little and caused some extra work...I had a $20 coupon for logging into Yelp while I waited...we laughed! Scott was a pleasure and their service department was awesome! I was called after looking online, after explaining what I wanted and my situation in detail was told I was GUARANTEED a loan. Get there, and because of the unique situation I had they couldn't take my trade... after GUARANTEE, a 2 hour drive and sitting there for 3 hours!! Why do all dealers lie!! Beyond frustrated and disappointed I wasted an entire day! Malcolm from the phone is a liar. * since um unable to reply to your response I'll donit here. I fully understand why it could not work. What upsets me is that I explained the situation on the phone BEFORE driving 2 hours and was told it WOULD work. After questioning it multiple times he assured me there was a "work around" I was blatantly lied to just to get me into your store. I will not be back.

Update 02/21/19: Well I've had my new 2019 Kia Forte LX for almost a month now and love it more each day I own and drive it. I couldn't be happier with my purchase from Lawrence Kia, and their after the sale customer service is just as amazing as their before and during the sale customer service. I have had a couple of questions, about my vehicle after the sale, and each time I call Lawrence Kia is always very friendly, helpful, and answers my questions completely. I just wanted to post an after the sale review, cause it seems not very many customers post follow up reviews to give other potential and new customers information on how great a dealership is after the sale. I will continue to post update reviews from time to time during the next months and years, showing how wonderful Lawrence Kia is to it's customers. They have been very mindful about the vehicles maintenance, reminding us but not being annoyingly intrusive. A very pleasant experience. We are 5 month old Kia owners.
Nick Bozinos is the the best car salesperson ever. He LISTENED to all of my needs and wish list and brought me vehicles appropriate for my needs. He was very professional. He was extremely thorough. He explained every feature of each vehicle I drove and the differences between vehicles. In the future I will only refer friends and family to him for their new or used car needs. I’m not sure about those shorty man pants he is wearing but I do respect his commitment to his fashion choice. I am super grateful for his time and attention.

Kelly was very easy to work with didn't feel like I was dealing with the dreaded car sales person! When I got home my 2018 vehicle that had 20,000 miles on it was leaking oil! They called me first thing towed my car in and it was just the washer on the oil pan plug! Easy fix and Tim the service manager put the gas back in that I used to get back home! Great service!

Let's be honest, no one likes buying a new car. I mean driving away with the new car is nice but the purchasing process is downright painful. Am I right? However, with that said, my experience with Lawrence Kia was probably the best experience I have ever had in a car dealership. Nick was professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant to work with. Once I made it clear that I absolutely wasn't into the back-and-forth game, the sales manager, who's name escapes me, was also very easy to work with. I'm not sure why they required me to meet with someone from All State but she was nice too - and after speaking with her I did call my State Farm agent to ask for an increase in liability coverage per her recommendation. Lastly, the financing department was short, sweet, and to the point -which is my kind of process! He crunched numbers and actually talked me into purchasing their lifetime bumper to bumper warranty which I'm always skeptical about so I suppose we will see how much good that actually does for us. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience. I hope my post-purchase experience is just as good when it comes to working with their service department as the need arises. If this proves to be the case, I will definitely be back for future purchases. (Nick, I hope the length of this review takes you to the top of the contest - you deserve it.)

I had a great experience at Lawrence Kia. Smooth process from my first interaction to my last. Put a deposit down on a Telluride that was due to come in a month later...the car came in as promised, and that was it. Walked in (drove from Nebraska to get this) and Nick Williams took great care of us until the end. Helped me with the paperwork and getting my electronics set up. There was some wait time for insurance verification and financing but that's because they were busy...because people like this place! I have nothing negative to say. What a joke! Told the Millennial on the phone I was interested in purchasing a vehicle and she said unless I came in to the dealer (I’m from out of town) and said the online process would take “2 to 3 weeks” because they give priority to people on the floor and are too “busy” to deal with anyone out of town! I told her I would be finding another dealer then.
I found the perfect vehicle. Marty, Mark and Nick took excellent care of us. They were very responsive to our needs. We also had an opportunity to check out their service department has the vehicle needed a little work. The Lawrence Kia team was very professional and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good quality vehicle.

Hands down, the best car buying experience ever. Saleman, Nick is pleasant, knowledgeable and worked hard to find me a great car, within my budget. Sara, with Allstate saved me money on my car & motorcycle Ins; also got my boyfriend a better deal. Had to wait a while to get into the finance office, but it was worth the wait. There are not enough words to explain the exceptional service Scott Essex provided during my appointment, nor my level of gratitude towards him! I am very happy with our purchase of a 2016 suburban form Lawrence Kia. I was skeptical at 1st because we have always purchased from the Chevy dealers and usually knew the salesmen or they were referred by a friend. We met with Marty Kane he was very nice and easy to work with. I am a very impatient person so the only issue i had was waiting for the car to be cleaned so we could leave lol. I got in the truck and it was out of Gas Marty quickly took it across the street and put a half tank of gas in it. While i would have preferred it to be filled up since i just bought a car from them just over half wasn't bad. I would defiantly buy from them again. I didn't get the extra set of key's so that makes me sad because its expensive to get a second set. I know they guarantee one set but they really should provide two on all used vehicles its one less hassle for the customer. overall though nice dealership and pretty easy to work with.

Horrible. Typical car sales experience. Wasting your time after a long drive. Sales rep lured us in with assurances over the phone. Vehicle was sold before we even drove it. Perhaps we want to buy something else on the lot? The typical sleezy greasy car salesmen game. Their mothers would be devastated if the knew how there sons operated. Also, surprise $399 dollar paperwork fee, which is twice that of any other car dealership (typically $199 max and usually they will wave it if you ask). Finally, Lawrence KS has the HIGHEST sales tax rate that I coukd find at 9.3%. That means you pay $550 more in tax (or more) on a $28K transaction versus buying in Kansas City. All around, don’t get caught buying from this sneaky circus.

Shawnee Mission KIA sold a car out from under me and I was lucky enough that Lawrence KIA had the car I wanted at a much better ticket price and less mileage, as well as lower monthly payments. The staff is second to none. All around I had an excellent experience. Highly recommended.

I've bought news cars from other dealerships, had good salesmen, but I was thoroughly impressed with Nick B at Lawrence KIA. He went over the car in detail before we test drove the car. I had already done my research on the Stinger and had been looking to buy for around a year. Nick impressed me with the knowledge he had in explaining the features of the Stinger and even setup the car for different driving modes. My wife and I drove a few cars and Nick was more than happy to accommodate which color and model we wanted to drive. We were very happy with the experience at Lawrence KIA.

We had a bit of a rocky start. We had an appointment with a sales person for 4:30pm. Unfortunately we were running late and coming from KC. I called to inform the dealership that we'd be there at 5, and the person who took the call didn't relay the message. Needless to say, we weren't received by our sales person. A sales manager took our information and had us wait in the lounge. We sat for 25 minutes until my wife went to find someone. She talked to a young man that said he would help. So far you're probably wondering why, after all of this, I have a 5 star rating. His name is Nick Williams. He was the young man my wife spoke with and our new sales person. I give him 6 stars. I also give 6 stars to Brandon McCoy, the finance manager. Both of these gentlemen are top notch and know what they're doing. Although I feel that the communication in the organization is poor, and sales managers aren't engaged and on the ball (my observation), these two individuals are excellent and what I base my rating on.
Dorean was phenomenal! She worked with us past closing to make sure we were happy with our purchase and payment amount. She was incredibly sweet and courteous from start to finish. Her boss even bought our kids pizza so they could eat dinner. They went above and beyond to make this a great experience and I am very happy with their service and would recommend them to anyone.
Our salesman was Hunter. Hunter did a good job of listening to our concerns and understanding where we were coming from. Nick Williams was great. I had an awesome experience buying a used Kia Sorento. I saw the car online and decided to make the short drive from Kansas City to Lawrence since the car had all of the features I was looking for. I appreciate that they are able to hold a vehicle with a refundable deposit. I came in on a Saturday and even though it was super busy, I was helped right away. I definitely will recommend this dealership to friends and family.
Went to dealer with 35k cash dealer couldn’t even get me helped with the vehicle I wanted only pushed through waiting because I really wanted the vehicle but after waiting for 4 hours to close a deal that only takes a hour to be done I changed my mind worst dealer I ever been to I highly recommend Hendrick Chevy or Olathe Nissan they will close deals with the correct knowledge and answers.
Just bought my first car here, and I have to say it was a really pleasant experience. Usually going into a car dealership would be stressful, especially as a first time buyer, but it was a very relaxed, no pressure atmosphere. I owe this great experience to Kira, she was incredibly helpful and worked with me to find the right car, keeping me updated on arrivals I was interested in and their inspection status, and ultimately working with me to get a good price on the vehicle I chose. I can't thank Kira enough for being so patient with me and for being so helpful, as a first time buyer it made a great impression and I plan on using Lawrence Kia again in the future!

Could not have been a better car shopping experience. I was looking for a used MB e350 and my sales agent (Mason) knew everything about it. I was amazed and impressed. Just a heads up, their online price is including a military discount, a financing through Kia incentive and an incentive to trade in a competitive brand vehicle. So if you are brand loyal and want to trade in a Kia you will actually have to pay more for the car. The salesman was pleasant and did cater to us. We did end up purchasing a vehicle and not our salesmans fault but it was the worst experience I have ever had purchasing a car just because the online price was deceiving. And then I was told “there is a disclaimer on our website warning you might not qualify for all incentives.” So you might need an attorney to help you purchase your car at Lawrence Kia because they work in the fine print. But they do have a good inventory and didn’t make us feel rushed. Kelly was pleasant to work with.
1st visit, brought my moms Mitsubishi in for service as I googled and found out they were the closest dealer to me. Met by Darren and he asked me how i found out they were a Mitsubishi dealer, I let him know and it was a great experience.
