I bought a car from Flint Hills Auto yesterday. Overall it was a good experience. Keith was awesome! He did a really good job and wasn't pushy at all and was super knowledgeable about the cars I was interested in. I would definitely recommend him. On the other hand, Tyler the finance guy was not the best. He was extremely pushy and rude at the end. He made me want to walk out without the car. I told him that I didn't want the dealer warranty add-on and that I would rather use my savings account if something breaks and he replied with, "Oh but how much did you say you had in savings again? Not enough to fix a repair." He pushed and pushed for at least five minutes and it was really frustrating. It ended the experience on a bad note.

I have taken my car into this dealership four times to fix a camshaft sensor. It has been with the dealership for part of May and almost all of June. As I left the dealership my engine light came back on with the same code. The worker advised us that the mechanics must have forgotten to reset it. The next day the engine light came on again and we called the dealership and they said it was the alternator. My alternator is less than a year old. We took it to get checked at Firestone per their request and it ran great. This dealership is HORRIBLE at communicating, slow with their work, and are not apologetic for the mistakes they have made. I thought the Ford dealership would be able to fix the problem, but they do not seem to have the knowledge or the will to fix my vehicle. We will not be returning to this dealership.

I want to start on a positive note by saying that Ben was amazing. He explained everything so well and was patient, answered all of our questions and then some, and when I spoke to him he was honest. As someone who works in sales and am familiar with how commission based jobs work, I could tell he wasn't saying things to benefit his profit, but to get us the best fit for us. Now what I am extremely disappointed in is the fact that last night (09/06), we left knowing we would get a fairly large discount along with four new tires due to some things my husband and I noticed about some damage under the car and the ware on the tires. My husband is a diesel mechanic and does this every day. So last night that we would be back with either a down payment or a loan from our bank, Ben said that was great and he was excited to do business with us. However, when my husband came back in today (09/07) that was not the case. My husband came in with a loan that was bigger than the purchase amount and when they found this out they wanted to take every penny. So they upped the price and lowered the value of our trade, which was already lower than what it should be according to KBB. Now when my husband said this I was frustrated but thought "hey, at least we are getting all new tires" WRONG. They said now that they would only do 2 on an all wheel drive vehicle. On top of this they told us that when they ran our credit it would just be a pre-check and a soft pull. This was also wrong when we told them specifically we don't want to do a hard pull. Super disappointed this happened after our amazing experience with Ben we were ready to buy but this misstep lost Flint Hills Auto our business.

I use to come here regularly to get my oil change and tire rotations, but apparently I have to wait about 1-2 weeks to get seen. I find it very hard to believe they are frequently booked everyday even Saturdays when I call, and today this place lost my 2 years worth of loyalty. I always see that they don’t put an extra effort to keep customers coming back. I don’t mind waiting for my vehicle while receiving service but the shuttle runs til 5pm so I never see the point of it. Also they are always “booked” every time I try to make an appointment of the 3-4 days prior of the desired timedate I have availability. I understand there’s only so much time but this is getting out of hand.

I own a business. We took a service truck in for repair of the turbo. First they told me it was a wiring problem. The next day they said it was the turbo. They were going to repair the truck. We called several times in a week and a half to be told "waiting on parts. They will be here today." We would call the next day and be told the same thing. I was finally told the turbos were on "national back order". I called Glavan Ford in Clay Center, Kansas. They said they ordered a turbo yesterday and it was delivered this morning. I went and got my truck and had it towed to Glavan. Service is terrible and no one in the parts department knows anything.

I brought my F-150 in for an oil change last week. They were fine service wise, but they filled my washer fluid tank with regular old washer fluid instead of cold weather stuff. Temperatures here are in the teens or less so now my fluid reservoir is a solid block of ice. I discovered this fact while driving down the highway the next day when my windshield got covered with brown icy sludge kicked up by a truck...I hit the washer and got nothing but a smudged up mess. Thanks for almost killing me. USE WINTER WASHER FLUID!!!

I always knew Flint Hills was a wonderful dealership but yesterday, they absolutely exceeded our expectations. My husband and I worked with Cory and Glen and cannot wait to work with them again. My husband and I went in looking to purchase a used vehicle that we saw on special and ended up in a 2018 that we absolutely love, that won’t break the bank. We were given a variety of options and they did everything possible to get us into a wonderful vehicle. Most salesmen are pushy but there was absolutely I’m no pressure from Cory. 3-13-19 Will think twice about buying another vehicle here or referring someone. They didn't take care of paying prior loan off till yesterday. They claimed it was because they were switching computer systems. It doesn't take almost 3 weeks to switch a computer system. Originally was told going to try to get financing through about 3 banks. Have received rejection letters from roughly 8 banks. If I wasn't a good match cost wise should of just said so. Have had 8 banks run credit reports and now possible get hit credit wise because bank may not get payoff amount on time. 2-16-19 Bought a used Ram 1500 with Flint Hills Auto. Took a week to finalize everything. Sean and Joel were ok. Made it an easy experience. Was an easy experience because I knew more about the truck than they did. I even had to replace a wipe that was taken off during the car wash because they didn't know how. Glen made sure all the finance stuff was taken care of.

We called a week ago to set up an appointment for a recall on the suv we have. We dropped it off amd decided to walk to Widgets because they said it would only be a couple hours. 4 hours later I decided to walk back and check on our vehicle. Apparently they had to call around to acquire the part from somewhere else. Our car was parked outside in the parking lot for who knows how long. My wife is 6 months pregnant and we have 3 small children. I am also military and had to take half a day off to get this important recall done. They said part would be in tomorrow. I asked for a loaner so we could leave our car overnight. They didnt have anything availabe. I addressed my concern and told them how hard it was just to take the time off and get my family here already. No one seemed to care or didnt seem to have the authority to issue us a loaner. Nearly 5 hours later we drove our vehicle home, not fixed. We then get a call from them and apparently they weren't aware we had already left with our vehicle. Complete waste of our day. We had been thinking of buying a 2nd vehicle from there. Not so sure now.

Did not have a good buying experience with this dealership. The two salesmen I worked with were good but the finance manager tried forcing me into using in house financing. When I came back with my own financing they jacked the price of the truck up that I was attempting to purchase. Im not sure what sort of incentive this dealership has with their lenders, but I don't believe its worth an extra thousand dollars on the price of a vehicle and no sale in the end. Called the GM to try and ask questions but never got a response. I will never consider purchasing a vehicle from this dealership again nor will I recommend anybody I know here for any service.
