I recently went in to Donovan Auto. I'm not from around the area so I was wanting to make a deal that day. The first salesman that came out was great. I asked him how they could help me get out of my lease so I could purchase a vehicle from this dealership and he was not sure so we went inside to talk to the manager. The managers demeanor was very rude through the whole thing. He basically said I'd be better off to take my car back to the dealership or to sit on my car until my car was done with the lease. He didn't act like he wanted to make a sale with me at all and basically took away my right to choose on what I felt the best deal would be. At other dealerships they have jumped to try and get me out of the lease to buy a vehicle so I was surprised by thiso particular response. If you go to the dealership I recommend not dealing with the manager if you don't have to. On a positive note, they do have their vehicles very reasonably priced.

I was apprehensive about buying a vehicle without putting my hands on it. I am a real detail oriented car buyer. I bought my car quick and easy from here after having my car totaled. I already had it picked out so there was no fuss and I needed a car fast. The process was great and hassle free. Little did I know that the front tires were below safety standards when I took it in for an oil change. I was refused a tire rotation and when I found out why, I was advised by the service center to take my car back to Donovan. At this time, I still had 60 day tags on my vehicle. So when I did this they had me come in on a Saturday (when the service center is closed) to "look" at my tires. I live in Mulvane so not a convenient drive. The finance manager was completely rude and unprofessional. He told his manager "you can deal with them" (my mom and I). After every excuse in the book from Mike about why my tires were worn (including me hitting curbs which is funny because it's even wear on both front tires so no alignment issues), he said he would contact me the following Monday. This was over 2 weeks ago and I still haven't heard from them. Not even a check in call. So as I sit here getting new tires, giving my feedback, I wouldn't send anyone I know to Donovan because they are in the market of selling unsafe vehicles. I think it's ridiculous how women are assumed uneducated and ignorant to car knowledge and get taken advantage of. Sorry boys, this girl knows her stuff. So swallow some pride and stay humble because you were in the wrong. You messed up and lost business because of it.

Let me start by saying I've purchased and serviced two cars from this dealership and am currently in the market for a third. Unfortunately todays experience is not one I will soon forget. After my car was diagnosed, I inquired about the cost, length of time it would take to complete the work, and detailed paperwork showing the problem and the fix. It took more than twice as long to complete the service, I was overcharged, I did not receive the paperwork I requested, and the reason for bringing my car to the shop was misstated on the service receipt. After bringing all of this to their attention I was made to feel like a burden when I requested a correction and a detailed receipt about the services performed. I was told the mechanic went to lunch and I would have to wait an additional hour for his return or have the receipt mailed to me. I didn't feel comfortable leaving without the the proper paperwork and was made to wait an additional 15-20 minutes longer while new paperwork was produced (which, by the way, I don't believe pertains to my vehicle). After I paid, I was handed my keys and had to look for my car on a crowded parking lot, instead of it being returned to me by valet, which is normally how I receive my car after its been serviced. Once I found my car, I noticed it had not been washed so I asked a service member if they had discontinued the complimentary car washes? I was told the car wash was broke. No problem, I accepted this excuse as truth and proceeded to leave. As I was leaving I noticed a posted rebate for the service I had just received and asked if I qualified. I was told they couldn't honor it because it expired on 8/31/18 and the poster was removed. I then asked if something comparable could be offered for my inconvenience and I was told NO! As much as I would like to continue having my car serviced by the dealership I purchased it from, I certainly will think of this experience before doing so.

Its not that they did anything wrong, I was screwed over by a mechanic who broke my car and then involved Donovan Truck Center to fix the problem. Donovan had this car that I originally sent in for tires and an oil change for 72 hours without looking at it. I had it towed to another mechanic who is staying late to " make this right" Donovan sells cars and trucks as well as servicing. Why wouldn't they have gone above and beyond to win a friend? While they didn't make an enemy they aren't on my list to buy from when that time comes.

So my father in law is at donovan getting his car repaired last week and asked the salesman if they have any chrysler town and country's. The salesman said yes. So my father in law asks if the price is firm? and the salesman said no that there was room for negotiations. So I go take a look at the town and countrys and find one I like for $18,755 so before I walk into the building I ask the salesman if the price is firm and he said there's always wiggle room (his words) so after wasting over an hour of my time he says the will only go down $55. Really? That's not even a tank of gas. Im not a tire kicker I showed up with my bank approval letter in hand ready to make a deal. This place is a joke.

Just picked up a new 2017 Yukon SLT and Jon is amazing! Love there personal touch this dealer does. He sat with us and did all the numbers right in front of us. Not like some dealers were they come out with that stupid four square box. I am talking about real paper work and shown how they got to the numbers. That aspect alone makes this an awsome and great experience. There was never any pressure to buy and very laid back. I recommend this DEALER over all others in Wichita Kansas!

This is an excellent car dealership and I would be lying to say that this is not owned by my father and my brother. The Donovan Auto Center has been in business since 1977 and businesses just grown over the years. Unlike the vast majority of most car dealerships you will typically see the same mechanics, the same sales people, and have a quality experience. So am I highly biased opinion I recommend Donovan Auto Center. I don't think you'll find a more fair-dealing dealership pretty much anywhere.

I just wanted to take a minute to rate my recent experience at Donovans Used Car Dealership. As you can see I gave it 5 stars. This was a very smooth process from beginning to end. Mike Wildeman was extremely genuine and a gentlemen to boot, but also a true professional. I did not walk into the dealership an hour before close and expect to drive a Yukon home, but Mike didn’t hesitate and the request to take it overnight. By the next morning I knew this was the vehicle for me and after completing the online application and giving Mike a call he immediately got to work. Oh, by the way, I called Mike on his personal cell phone number that he gave me so there was no calling main lines and getting transferred and put on hold. His approach is quiet relaxed and there was no pressure at all. After doing my homework and shopping around I knew the deal that he gave me was a great one. Not only did he get me out of my lease, but I drove off in a next-to-new Yukon. Finally, I have to give credit to Audrey, the Finance Manager. She was super knowledgable and we had THE BEST conversation, like she could seriously be someone I would love talking to on a daily basis. Super funny and just all around a great people person. They replaced my transmission a year ago under gmc warranty. I went there a year later because I was experiencing the same issues again. They kept the car for a day to test it and when I came back they wanted to charge me $400 to do a software update in the hopes that this would fix the issue. I refused to do it so then they charged me $35 for 'diagnosis.' I wasn't happy. So I took the car to the other gmc dealership across town, they looked it up and found some bulletins and recalls from gmc. They fixed everything up free of charge! Also the ladies at the counter always act super annoyed when you walk up to them to collect your car after service!

Donovan's is a First Class Dealership that always puts the Customer's first. Their Service Dept. is 2nd to none! The Cadillac Corporation called me and asked about the service I received from them. At that time, the Cadillac Corporation was pulling some Cadillac Franchises. I told them that I rec'd Red Carpet Service from their Service Dept. When I took my car to them, the Service Representative (Steve)went for a drive with me to see/hear what noise my vehicle was making. The person from the Cadillac Corporation said it's such a rarity to hear that! I was given a car to drive while mine was being fixed. I also told them that Donovan's was the best place, by word of mouth amongst Cadillac owners; to take your Cadillac to be fixed. I wish I could rate them higher than 5 Stars!

I went to Hatchett on the east side to have my Buick repaired. Long story short, I was sorely disappointed and will not go back. After that experience, I contacted Donovan Auto and told them my scenario. I spoke with Steve and he got me in right away. Steve was very kind and spoke respectfully to me, and even showed me around when I arrived. I dropped my car off and it was done before lunch. I had a call and voicemail. After arriving to pick it up, he explained everything to me and corrected the problem the previous dealer said the fixed (which they hadn't). They were exceptionally courteous and worked quickly. We were provided information on the cars we were interested in and given the opportunity to take unfettered test drives. We made several trips to Donovan's before deciding, and never felt pressured in the least. Greg Blanchatt was great to work with, as was Mike Caster if Greg wasn't around. We were looking for a used Jeep Grand Cherokee. Jim Pearce helped us and was really nice, no pressure. As we were leaving we just happened to see a 2017 Grand Cherokee that had just come in - it hadn't even been cleaned up yet. We were really interested, but there were some areas on the hood that needed some attention and the driver's side window had some bad scratches, so we were hesitant. A couple of days later Jim called and said that those issues had been taken care of. They had even replaced the window without our even asking them to. After a lot of looking around, we decided to buy this one. Jim was really great to work with and went out of his way to see that we were satisfied. Then we went in to the finance office, expecting it to take quite a while, per usual. Audrey had us done and out of there in record time! It was amazing and she was really friendly. They were very quick and I showed them a problem. They told me they would order the part. Two days later they told me to bring the ATS for the repair. I dropped it off and a few hours later they had replaced the touch screen radio. No charge to me so I was very impressed.

I purchased my 2011 GMC Terrain from here 5 months ago. My sales person was nice and had no problems with the sale. I have been hearing a knocking from my car for about 3 months and it just started getting louder. I took my car to my mechanic and it was OUT of oil. I don't have an oil leak so obviously the fluids were not checked when I purchased my vehicle. Please take your car to an outside mechanic if you purchase from this place.
