We bought our 3rd KIA in March of 2016 one new two used, still under the suppose 60K mile warranty. The car had about 36k miles on it when we bought. Shortly there after it started to blow white smoke. I took it to Stone and they said the oil was filled to high (we have it change by a local dealer) and they had to do some stuff to clean it out at a charge of $70+ dollars. A few days later smoking again so I take it back to Stones they take a look at the motor and say big problems you will need to show us service records. I told them I hadn't owned it very long they said, so. I called around SLC to try to find some I can only find one as there are two many place to call and they will only tell me it was serviced because of privacy data. I had one of my own. Stones KIA tell me the car will need a new motor it will cost $5 to $6K. After having the car there for 3 weeks they call and say KIA will not cover anything as you don't have enough records. I picked it up and took it to a local mechanic shop that I have used who always seem fair. They said we think the motor is fine you have a plugged PCV valve I believe they put an additive to clean some of the slug out. This occurred in April and it is now February the car runs great no problems. The cost was minimal not like Stones Kia said needs a new motor. I would head to Pocatello or SLC if I need any real warranty work or any done on a KIA in the future. I doubt if I will own a forth KIA as you depend on your local dealer.

My experience was absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked on to the lot all the way to the delivery of my new car. The sales rep was direct and to the point. He was not pushy and unlike other sales staff (at other dealerships) made me feel that I was in control of the interaction. Stone's Kia was the first dealership around Idaho Falls that allowed me to keep the car overnight. Following the test drive, they worked all the numbers and were able to get my car loan financed with the best interest rate possible at a local credit union. The process was simple and pleasant. Special thanks to the Sales Manager. It was a pleasure working with these guys through the new vehicle purchase process. I would recommend anyone to stop by Stone's because even if you are not thinking about a Kia, they will still be able to help and suit your needs.

Sales experience was good, justin did a great job working with us. I love the SUV we bought and strongly recommend the sorento. However, once you get trapped in the finance room it got uncomfortable when I had to repeatedly turn down the warranty 5 times and the gentleman that was helping acted completely offended that I had the audacity to turn it down. Over all I'd recommend them just go in prepared.

We had a great buying experience from the time we bought even with things that we had to have worked on. But when it came to cancelling warranty's that's when we started having problems. When we cancelled the gap warranty Dan was super quick and help full and responded to all my questions. I than cancelled the extended warranty and have been trying to get a hold of him for about two months and he does not return my calls or email. Update. Tyler got in contact with me in a very timely manner and resolved the problem quickly as well.

We bought a car here and so far it's been a great experience. The car we wanted was a little over what we were originally going to spend, but they worked with us quite a bit to bring it back into the price range we were looking for. They do cheap oil changes and free car washes as well and typically do a great job. This is my first KIA and we haven't owned it long enough for me to speak on that matter yet, but as far as Stone's Kia goes, they are definitely worth a stop if you're looking at new cars.

The new location is awesome!! I went in today to get my oil changed in my truck. The customer service from everyone was outstanding including Ozzy who greeted me with a smile and checked me in. I was texted several times during my wait to let me know the status including pics. I was wondering the lot while I was waiting, and I ran into one the owners of Stone's Blake. He introduced himself and wanted to make sure everyone was doing their job. When they finished I drove my truck through their car wash and got get the best car wash I've had in a long time. We recently had and oil change and inspection on our Sorento. The inspection revealed that some additional service was needed, so we made an appointment; however, circumstances occurred that made it necessary to advance the appointment a few days. The service department accommodated us by fitting us in the next day, allowing us to make a long trip without worry. Both the oil change and other service were professional and efficient. Visiting the service department is always a pleasant experience. The workers are always helpful and friendly. It's like visiting old friends.

We leased a vehicle from Stone's KIA and after the lease ended, decided to upgrade to a new vehicle. Three months later, I was alerted by my credit monitoring system that my near-perfect credit had gone down 60 points. In shock, I opened my report to find that KIA had reported that we were 90 days late on a payment. Knowing it wasn't true (because I have automatic withdrawal), my husband spent nearly two weeks playing phone tag with Stone's KIA staff and KIA's national customer service to eventually discover that our closing payment wasn't applied correctly by the Stone's KIA staff, forcing my account into delinquency (and not even a notice in the mail!). The staff eventually admitted that it was 100% KIA's fault (and that it happened to at least one other customer). Mistakes happen and we were happy to forgive because their staff told us that KIA would reverse the false delinquent payment on our credit report, and our scores would return to normal. This was nearly two months ago and nothing has changed. We have been unjustly penalized for their mistake and see no resolution in sight.

The service manager, Kyle Stringham, has been patient and respectful to me and my daughter over many years when we have questions about how things work on our cars (or need repair). He has now gone to much effort to see that we get exactly what we want in a new car and what will work best for what we use it for. He got the color and all the features we wanted. The support staff (especially a young woman with dark brown long hair who works the counter in the service department) and the sales manager, Mark, have also been cheerful and helpful. I went to look at a car pre-approved from somewhere else. They insisted they could get me a better rate so I have them a go. After they ran my credit they wouldn't come down on the price even 500$ told me they couldn't do anything for me even though I was approved from another lender. Then insulted my girlfriends and my self. Even laughed at me at one point. The sells man told us it was a lease trade in and then the finance guy said it was from auction. They couldn't even get their lies straight. I would of left with a car if they would of worked with us at all. Even when my girlfriend asked about a car she was brushed off and treated sub human. I've never been treated so bad in my life specially with money in hand and I drove an hour to look at the car. They lost out on selling me a car and a second car cause she is looking to. I would never suggest them to anyone.

I am currently leasing a Kia and while I had my oil changed at Stones Kia I was looking around at what cars they had for sale. I will be in the market to buy a vehicle within a few months and wanted to see what was available. Not one sales person looked at me or offered to help or offered a test drive I spent about an hour walking around the lot by myself and looked at cars . Needless to say I won’t be buying a car from them. And then when it came time to pick up my lease, the service team was really vague about what they found on the car, and didn’t want to rotate the tires for me(even though the lease agreement says they need to be rotated every 5000 miles). I wouldn’t recommend them to any of my fiends I have definitely had better service else where .

I am writing this express how pleased I am with your guy's service department. I purchased my car from another dealership in town and all I ever got was the run around, even though I was paying them an arm and leg for a "extended warranty." I took my car in today for a recall on the headliner clips. I mentioned my airbag sensor and Jared and your team looked into it right away. I called a bit later to follow up and was told about the numerous repairs that were covered under my Kia warranty. I know it seems so standard, but I really appreciate everything you all did. It eases my mind to know there are dealerships out there that truly care about their customers. I will definitely be purchasing my next car from Stone's Kia.

My 2010 KIA Forte was taken in for recall service today, November 19, 2018. Frequently I review businesses where I buy products or get services. When I get exceptional service, I love to comment on personnel that represent, in this case, Stone KIA. My first contact was Eric Briggs, service adviser, Mr. Briggs is an outstanding individual assuring the satisfaction of the customer from beginning to end of the process. My highest compliments go to this employee. Second in the chain of help was the young man, Jordan Julian, who took me home and later picked me up. At 17 Jordan is very professional and a very intelligent young man. Stones has a hired a person that serves the company well. Jordan is a unique individual that knows were he is going in life. I appreciate that Stones hired this young man. My master mechanic at Stones is Doug Drkula. I have had an association with Doug long before he worked at Stones. Doug is a Jedi Master Mechanic with personality plus. Stones were very respectful in accepting my request to have Doug perform the work for me. I regret only being able to give Stones a mere 5 stars on the rating. Double that to a 10 and you have my opinion of Eric, Jordan, and Doug. I was EXTREMELY SATISFIED with my service this day. They always fully fix any mechanical problems, so I never have to worry if a job is going to need re-done because the cause of the problems is not fixed. I love that they top off all fluids and do a pretty thorough check-up on my vehicle when I have them do any service. Great shop, good deals on newer cars, I would buy from them again!

For the most part I think most people will feel they overpaid for mechanical work, but to be honest my rating would have been lower if it wasn't for Dave, the detailer. After spending hundreds of dollars on servicing my car, the standard task, and most noticeable didn't happen. They forgot to wash and vacuum my car. Went back the next day, and Dave took care of it for it me.

I have had the opportunity to purchase a few cars from other local new and used car dealers. (Right price and Teton Toyota) and I must say I will never be visiting those lots again. My wife and I purchased our first Kia from stones 3 years ago and we enjoyed every minute we had that car. Recently we decided it was time for an upgrade and decided to return to Kia stones in search of this upgrade. We had the chance to work with both Brian and Justin. Both were great to work with. They did a great job understanding the needs for our upgrade and didn't push us into a car that didn't fit our needs. Both sales reps were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in answering all of questions, and concerns. Unlike past visits to other local lots neither my wife or myself felt that these two gentlemen would be put to death of we didn't leave in a new vehicle. In the end they were able to help us find our next car that fit our needs instead of a car that simply filled their wallets. I left a pretty bad review about 7 months ago. I was pretty unhappy. There were several things they told me were wrong with my car but weren't wrong at all. However, they've since made up for it. And in the new facility they will actually show you pictures of the problems. And the service is much better. They're happy to help you amd they have a great little waiting area with free hot chocolate and coffee. And you can watch tv or they have cameras showing them working on your car. The oil changes are quick and cheap and if the air filter needs replaced they will actuallu bring it into you and show you how bad it really is. Even the mechanic was very great and patient with me. Overall I've been very pleased with them and glad I gave them a second try.

This review is years overdue. We love Stones Kia! Love their oil change price. We get all our service done there, they have techs that work on cars other than Kias- yep, you heard right so we take our 07 Jeep Liberty and 02 Ford Focus there. The Focus we just want to keep running for around town and they totally respect that. They tell us everything that could be done but then also only what *needs* to keep it running to and from work. I wanted to try and replace the side mirror myself and they totally supported me, if I got stuck anywhere in the process they said they would've been happy to help me know how to finish or if I didn't feel like I could finish it they would do it and prorate it according to what I got done. (I ended up doing it all so I didn't take them up on their offer but I believe they would have!) They do a quick vacuum and free car wash after service. They have an text system that notifies you when they start working on your car, the inspection info and when they finish. Couldn't recommend them enough!

I decided to try stones kia and was very VERY impressed. got me in fast, vacumed the carpets and gave me a free wash. all for 26 dollars! and they also sent me pics of what needs looked at on my vehicle. who does that? really impressed. if I was to buy a vehicle. I received a 24.99 oil change from Kia in the mail I decided to give them a try also a two minute drive from my home. Got an oil change ,driving home I notice that there was some money missing from my gloves compartment. $100 so I called Kia maybe I dropped it or someone pick up the money by accident. So they checked the camera and found that one of the employees found a 100$ bill in my car and decided to take it home. God is Good.

I docked a star because unless you want coffee or water while you wait you have to pay the vending machine. Other places I've visited it's all complimentary.

I bought my Sorento in the Seattle area and later moved to Idaho Falls. I have had it in to Stone's for oil changes and inspections and have been happy with the customer service there. I have had bulbs replaced, bought new tires, and brakes have been replaced. Jaime has always been very helpful and I have taken advantage of their shuttle service. Great people to work with.

I recently purchased a CPO car from this dealer and the staff is very friendly. After purchasing the vehicle though, (the salesman had let me know that they had cleaned/detailed the car) I noticed a smear of what seemed like chocolate and candy wrappers in the back foot area and I had just driven it off and I called and they apologized and said that they would clean it right this second time, again a week passed I don't eat in this car or consume foods/drinks in the vehicle and I went to get my car washed at my local car wash (I live 2 hrs away from the dealer) and noticed large amounts of candy and chunks of chocolate under the car seats and an are of melted chocolate. all I did was move them forward and it was a mess also found a switchblade which makes me think it wasnt cleaned even that second time. I called again, same thing brought it back for another cleaning. At this point I didn't want to bother the dealer a 4th time there is still sticky parts in the back tht i have not used where passengers can put their drinks in the middle area tons of crumbs and sticky liquid. The center also had some kind of puff snacks lodged inbweteen that I cant get to the fans have also have a bunch of crumbs. I will take it to someone who can detail. They are a great staff and very friendly but this is the thing that has disappointed me.

Update 07/27/2018: After thinking we'd finally come to an understanding of what was expected and requesting full disclosure, in less than 5000 miles we now need to replace the brake pads and rotors, as well as having a cracked exhaust pipe. We were practically required to purchase the extended warranty through national warranty corporation for the 2013 Kia Sportage we had traded the previously discussed Chevy Cruze in for. We are signed up for the diamond coverage, the most comprehensive plan that covers "virtually all mechanical and electrical" matters except those listed on the exclusions page. We never received the email on page as well as other pages of the extended warranty coverage. After being told today 07/27/2018 that the exhaust syatem is not covered as a "dealer exclusion." Stones has quoted 580$ to replace the exhaust. Stones does not seem to care about quality or safety in the used vehicles they sell. The Kia Sportage only has 33500 miles on it and has clearly not been taken care of. Before I forget, there was also excessive tire wear on what appeared from the outside to be good tires. The tire shop said they were certain an allignment had never been done on the vehicle so we've already had to fork out additional money for tires and allignemal, and now breaks and the exhaust system. So much for "full disclosure!" I do not advise doing business with this dealer, and will personally never go back to them for another vehicle. Update: *After speaking with Kyle, a supervisor, we were able to come to an agreement to resolve the issue. He offered to replace the alternator, clean out the air duct, replace the air filter, and disinfect the system to avoid any potential health hazards for the cost of what I could purchase the alternator for on my own. Kyle also noticed that the 2 rear tires were on Stone's inspection list for the vehicle, and that they were not addressed before or at the time of sale. He took on full accountability and offered to replace the tires and do an alignment. I feel satisfactory resolution has been provided.* Bought a 2013 Chevy Cruze from this location. less than 3 months into the lease the vehicle began experiencing a variety of issues including overheating, and electrical issues. Error messages included "Service Stability Track", "Service Battery Charging Systems," "Service Stability Track," "Service Power Steering Systems," and another one advising to roll down the drivers side window and roll it back up. This was also combined with the MyLink system resetting while driving, poor idle, poor / delayed acceleration, and flickering of the headlights. The dealer did do a diagnostics, however they failed to schedule the appointment in their systems, and found a mouse nest in the air filter (much larger than would have occurred in a couple months even if the car had been sitting), a clear sign that a good inspection was not done on the vehicle prior to sale. Furthermore the diagnostics resulted in them assuring it's a bad alternator which they want $400+ to repair (alternator rebuild 100$ new alternator from Advanced Auto Parts about $170 with 25% off coupon code) nearly 300$ in labor for a fairly quick repair. After speaking with an alternator and starter specialist, I have been informed the dealer had to have sold it with a bad alternator. The vehicle was looked at and the hose from fill bottle to housing was glued in, and the housing was broke (resulting in the overheating). The vehicle died on the interstate at 80 MPH, this is clearly an unsafe vehicle.

I went here wanting the 2017 Kia Sportage with cash in hand with my mom. The whole time I felt like I was getting looked down upon because of my age and my gender, the guy was really rude when I wanted to drive it by myself. I had a really nice trade in of a Kia brand car, a 2011. They tried to trick me into thinking my car was worth 4K instead of the 6k I ended up getting for it. Ended up going to Teton Toyota and getting a 2017 RAV4 and paying out right. Will never come here again.

Salesman was good to deal with. Who ever handles the trade ins offered me about $7,000.00 less than literally every other dealership in town. Wife was set on the KIA, but they would not come up on their trade in offer. Went with a Hyundai instead. If in the market for a Sorrento, it is not a bad idea to check out the Hyundai. It is a lot of car for the price and the warranty and service across the street is very good.
