DO NOT rent a car from FOX RENT A CAR in Kahului airport unless you don't care about driving a car with lots of ROACHES. We arrived on 12/23/2018 and waited for a shuttle for "an hour" in the airport. When we picked up a mini van in the office, most staffs were rude and impatient not only to us but also to other customers as well. The service staff took a bag of garbage out of the dirty car when he delivered it to us, he was very rude in talking to us when we raised our concern for the car not being cleaned. The worst part is that we saw at least 20+ tiny roaches everywhere in the car at night on 12/23. We tried to contact the office to exchange with another car in the next 2 days, but our calls were totally ignored. When we returned the car on 12/30, I complained this to their staffs and requested to talk to the office manager who never get back to me and Expedia where I booked our rental car. As far as I know Expedia made at least 3+ attempts since 1/1/2019 but Expedia has not get any response form the office manager neither. If I could rate this company with 0 star, I would. If you do not want your vacation to be ruined, you should never rental a car from ALLSAVE/FOX RENT A CAR located at 22 Hana Hwy., Kahului, HI 96732

DON'T RENT FROM FOX. Booked through Priceline for a very low rate. Agent informed me that there was an additional charge of $15 a day because I was over 70 years old. Outragious!!! Then I said Ok, i will bring car back tomorrow instead of keeping it for one week. He informed me I would only receive the $15 a day refund,and not the daily rate charged to my charge card. I told him I would just dispute charge on my credit card. He informed me he just works there and that is their policy. i realized they never handed me papers and they said pictures of the vehicle would be emailed to me. Email came from Kiehi car rental. So...i will be telling my story to Priceline and my credit card company.

Absolutely terrible place to book with very poor customer service skills. They are not open when they say they are, and tried to up the price on our car by double once we got to Hawaii. You should NEVER use Fox Rental.

Had some unforeseen vehicle issues about 12 hours after renting a mini van. Brought it back in the morning. Manager and staff were very accommodating and took care of the problem immediately. Great customer service from very nice people. Thank you!

Cars were dirty inside. Staff was friendly. No problem with the driving of the car. Took a excessive time to check in and it wasn't crowded. Their computer systems seemed outdated. I'm not going to use again. Checking was fast and the drivers back to the airport were very good.

First impression was horrible, the lady looked annoyed she was even there. When we got a car that had plenty of scratches and dents we went back in to let them know and sure enough they ensured us they will send us photos because they, "already know". Email never came. Took the car down the street for 5 min and went to a local eaterie. When I got back in the car I saw a cockroach crawling on the seat. Sure enough I lifted the foot mat and the bottom was filled with 10-15 cockroaches. Took the car immediately back. The lady was "surprised". When my husband complained that the car was never cleaned, hence dirty napkins in the glove box, she replied, "this is (location) it's humid, everyone has cockroaches in the car, I don't even eat and I have cockroaches in my car"! I get it. Long live the roaches, but I'm on vacation I'm not trying to bring back roaches to my house. Sure enough they changed the car but the experience and respect I have for this business.

Dont rent a car from Fox in Maui, you may think you are getting a good deal, pay a little extra and use a different rental company. We rented a car and it was full of roaches I had to use a bug treatment to kill all the roaches.

Not a great rental agency. Our first rental car has the check engine light come on and the staff was rude. Exchanged it for another vehicle that was in terrible shape, cigarette burns everywhere and both cars smelled terribly of cat urine. Purchased gas plan through them and they still insisted I fill up both vehicles at return even though I had paid. Rude, not professional, sloppy staff. I will not be renting from them again.

Rented a car for over 20 days. By far Fox Rent A Car was the best price. I wish I could tell you what I paid but I can tell you it was quite a bit less than the second best rate from anywhere. My vehicle had a few dings on it but I could care less. I guarantee that next time that I come to Maui I will absolutely rent rent from this location. Since most flights back to the mainland are late I was able to leave the vehicle in the lot with the keys locked in. This saved me plenty of aggravation of hanging around the airport for 4 or 5 hours before my flight departure. I strongly recommend them.

We rented a blue Hyundai Elantra. The car had horrible alignment (felt as if we were always going left) and the visors were busted. We were an hour late and the manager charged us a late fee. We asked to be square and she scolded us for not calling them to get it fixed. The money wasn't really the issue - just a lousy car and manager with an attitude.

Rudest, most unpleasant rental car agent EVER! Really, really upleasant experience. We have dealt with Fox Rent a Car before and it was always a good experience. But this??? Complete no-go! Will definitely NOT rent with them any more!!

I would not rent a car from here again. There was no signage at the airport to say where to catch the shuttle. Once we found out where to catch it , we waited an hour and no shuttle came. We took a cab and it cost us the maoney we thought we'd save by renting it from Fox in the first place. Our friends who rented cars from the big rental companies had their cars an hour before we did. It was a very frustrating experience!

I wish i could give no stars. Reserved minivan for 4 days for my family. Shuttle arrived promptly at the pickup. Counter service friendly and prompt. Got my Van and it smelled like dirty diapers and rotten cheese and there was a smudge of mud on back seat. There were also tons of dings and scratches, and over 45,000 miles. I tried to be open minded even though my children were complaining of the smell. We rode with the windows down to Safeway, and when I got out I noticed an expired safety check sticker. I jumped back in the van and drove to a couple of other rental agencies and was so thankful Advantage had a van available for my family. It costed me an additional $150 for a clean and legal van. When I took the van back to Fox, the girl at the counter didn't seem surprised and said someone stole the sticker. I told her that the paperwork in the compartment also showed an expired safety check. I tried calling the manager when I got back to Oahu, but they left me on hold for so long I hung up. I can't believe a rental company would rent a van I such bad condition and not legal. Such a waste of my time and bad way to start my vacation.

I was given a very hefty charge for them to vacuum leaves out of the car . It was a convertible !!! If they were going to charge you to vacuum car it should of been stated at time of rental . I complained and manager took $25.00 dollars off of a $150.00 extra charge . VERY disappointed in their customer service and policies to say the least.

Awful experience and terrible customer service. We arrived on time, 3rd in line, and waited over 1 hour for our rental car after customer service said it would be 10 minutes....The representatives forgot to follow up on our rental and after my husband followed up twice we finally get a semi “clean” car. Highly recommend against renting from Fox rental if you prefer to not waste time. It is not worth the savings!

We made a booking under Expedia for Fox rent a car. When we arrived we were taken to Allsave which “represents” Fox rent a car but apparently does not follow any of Fox’s terms. At the counter we were told that it was mandatory to pay an extra $20 per day for collision damage which would allow us to “literally bring back just the steering wheel and not have to pay any costs”. We later found out that this was false- and that the collision damage only covered for damage that was not our fault...Why would we need to pay if it wasn’t our fault anyway? When we called to enquire about the extra costs we were met with a disrespectful staff member who spoke over and yelled at us. She told us we should have asked further questions about the OPTIONAL collision damage when we signed the contract like it was our responsibility to spot their lies. Don’t go here. Shady, rude. Use Turo.

Waited 45 min for a car. It was due all to the bad customer service. They took their sweet time getting my car. Seriously. It was right out side the shop window..... poorly kept cars. Do not use unless your desperate.

These guys were amazing! Excellent service, convenient location for catching a Lyft or uber to the airport if you happen to fly out before the shuttles start. We rented a gorgeous convertible mustang for our stay and I couldn't be happier with our choice. There were no problems with pick up or drop off, the rates were competitive with other locations, and the car was spotless and ran great. I'll definitely be renting from here when I visit next time

Awful experience... paid for reservation and insurance through expedia weeks in advanced. When we arrived, they told us they don't accept that insurance and charged us an extra 300 deposit. One employee didn't even know the company policies and the one in charge was very rude and unprofessional. Staff had bad attitudes overall. Ended up cancelling with them. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

I wasn't too sure the kind of service we were going to receive after reading the reviews. But overall it was pretty good. Our only thing was waiting for the van 20 minutes. We had to call and ask if their van was going to ever pick us up at the airport when we first arrived. But the representative apologized and it came shortly after. After that we had a quick check-in and the car worked well during our stay. Getting the car back, checking out and the ride to the airport was a breeze. Overall we were pretty satisfied.

Got a Jeep, wow. No central locking didn't know that existed still. Dirty car and seats , child seat had a cockroach jump out of it. Steering wheel smelled like fish. This place has only one shuttle and it's not in the airport so you have to wait for shuttle to drop off and come back. Pay more rent somewhere else!!

I thought it was super easy and a great price! We rented online while at our condo, took a lyft to their location, the jeep we paid for wasn't clean yet so they upgraded for free to a better jeep convertible.. in and out in 20 minutes. Friendly staff!

I made the mistake of giving what I thought was a local company my business rather than a better known international firm. I had rented a convertible for our Maui adventure and the car they delivered was a total disgrace both internally and externally, put it this way there was no room for any additional dings on the body work there were already so many. I thought it unusual that they insisted on taking pictures before we departed. The next day I called to exchange vehicles and to be fair they agreed without a quibble, unfortunately the replacement car was worse, the stains on the interior being so bad my wife insisted on sitting on a towel rather than the cloth seats. The only good news was the car did n’t break down. My advice, go to Avis.

ROACHES EVERYWHERE! Our car has swarms of roaches that crawl out of every crack in the dash and seats after dark (not exaggerating). Still waiting to hear back about exchanging the vehicle but it’s not looking optimistic after reading these other reviews. UPDATE: We got a hold of Fox after calling many times and they said we could come exchange our car (an hour long trip). So we did... and got a SECOND CAR WITH ROACHES. They didn’t appologize once and were very unsympathetic. The lady said “she would make a note of it” which sounds like they probably are used to this and don’t care.

I have rented cars plenty of times. This is first time I have seen roaches in a car. When I took the car back the associate looked as if he could not understand my issue with roaches. THEY CARRY DISEASES! When you have one you have a whole bunch somewhere. Fox/Allsave will not be receiving my business when we return to Maui.

Terrible customer service and horrible attitude. They charged us for an extra day for being an hour late, and accused my boyfriend of driving the car when he was just simply cleaning the car to spare some time. Charged my credit card without my permission and threw the pen in my face to sign off on it. SO rude, these employees need some training on customer service skills. Had an amazing trip in Hawaii and was left with an awful taste in my mouth with this type of send-off. NEVER rent from these people even if the prices seem cheap, since they will cheat money out of you anyway in the end.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! I booked a smaller SUV months before arriving in Hawaii, upon arrival, they didn't have the vehicle I rented and instead put in me in a 2 door vehicle when I specifically booked and reserved a 4-door. In addition to that, the 2 door vehicle ended up being infested with no short of 60+ tiny spiders which we discovered when we turned on our air-conditioning. Fox Rent a Car's response was "Well you signed the waiver so.... nothing we're gonna do" in terms of picking up and replacing the car, instead forcing me to file my own insurance claim to tow the vehicle back to Fox. To add insult to injury, Fox arbitrarily set a deadline (Before the shop even closes for the day) where if I didn't get the car to them, they wouldn't even give me any option to exchange the vehicle, leaving me with a spider-infested car I never asked for in the first place. I wish 0 stars were possible. Fox Rent a Car is a deplorable and despicable business which I'll never EVER utilize again.

Waited for nearly an hour for a shuttle, then took a taxi for $20 dollars. Check in took a while, the process also took forever. Although friendly. Drop off, was a complete nightmare and any service while renting the vehicle is non existent and incredibly rude! Don't book here start & end your holiday on a positive note.

I went here because they had the best price and I figured, how can you mess up a rental car? well...I must say the staff were friendly for the most part and maybe they deserve one star because of this but it took a while to get our car because everyone in front of us kept coming back inside demanding staff go out and document damage to their car. So we get our car and the staff were taking pictures of it because every fender bumper, trunk, hood had scratches, dents, dings or was keyed. Now this was our honeymoon and I said, so what? Not going to let this ruin our honeymoon, It's just a car. We get in the car and the first thing I think is, why are all the windows down with the AC on at full blast? I do smell a faint bit of cigarette smoker (we're not smokers) but i say, so what? not going to let this ruin our honeymoon. The center screen was the dustiest, most grimey surface I have ever seen. I smudged a spot clear with my finger and it looked like someone else had previously done the same and had probably thought the same thing as me - how could they not wash this car? The windows were even dirty. It has clearly not been cleaned. The steering wheel and center arm wrest as well as door arm wrest were sticky. But you know what? I wasn't going to let this ruin our honeymoon. We stopped briefly for some basic stuff from a store, got back in and that car wreaked of cigarette smoke. It was disgusting. So I rolled the windows down and put the AC on full blast to clear it out. We went to dinner that night and had a lovely time until we got back int he car and our stomachs turned. This was going to ruin our honeymoon. We could not be in the car without this disgusting smell. It awful. We got to our condo and decided first thing we were going to return the car. We called ahead and they said we all they had was a minivan (reading other reviews on here it probably would have smelled like diapers). The person I spoke with initially about returned it had a bit of attitude that I did not make a complaint when I first got the car but I explained that when I got the car all the windows were down with the AC on full blast I presume to air the car out so I would not make this complaint. So I called Alamo and made a reservation. Got to Fox to return the car but they refused any refund because I booked on Expedia. I have not been able to get a hold of Expedia. The net net is I paid double for the car rental. But that;s OK. Had a great honeymoon. Got a great car from Alamo. I'll never go to Fox again. Lesson learned.

Was looking for a rental car and found fox rentals. Easy to rent online however, I said I wanted a Jeep. After the reservation was made I saw my confirmation said Jeep or similar. I was not happy and was not able to actually speak to anyone about it. When we arrived at the airport we had to wait at least an hour to be picked up by the shuttle because they only had a little 15 passenger van and one driver. Now the driver was nice and apologetic but it was blazing hot outside and nowhere to get relief. When she finally arrived people were jumping in the van that didn't even have there luggage in the van and I had to end up riding in the front. No big deal until we got to the rental place. There were two people there to handle the rentals and only five customers. We again waited for almost an hour to be helped. While I sat outside waiting for my sister to finish up hey would bring all the cars to the front for you to pickup. When my sister came out we didn't have a car. So we looked around about and found a GMC Terrain.... NOT A JEEP! The car was running without the AC on and nobody said here you go. So we looked the vehicle over and took off. Now the car had several dings in it and NO window washer fluid which sucked because the windows were filthy. We bought some windex but it still didn't clean the windows. There was like some type of film on them and we couldn't get it off. I will stop ranting not and just SAY SKIP FOX RENTALS AND RENT ANYWHERE ELSE! THIS PLACE SUCKS ALONG WITH THEIR SERVICE!

POS~STAY AWAY!! Had over 40k miles on car. Scrapes and dents everywhere. Dirty windows that we could barely see out of. Dirty seats and floors and to top it off we saw a couple of roaches inside car!!! When we brought the car back the agent didnt even say sorry for your troubles or anything. Way to go, such great customer service!!! The Driver was very kind, maybe he should run the company!!

My 6 month pregnant wife and I booked a car through priceline and confirmed our reservation. Upon arriving at the airport we spend 30 to 45 min trying to find the shuttle pickup which is not where the rest of the rental cars are. Upon arrival at the rental place Ashley or Lexi (depending on her mood) claimed we had no reservation. We showed her the confirmation and she immediately got nasty and started raising her voice. Apparently there are no cars although every parming spot was full and there was only one customer insude. Rather than try and resolve ghe situation and offer a cut of water to a dehidrated pregnant woman she straight up kicked us put of her crappy location in the 90 degree sun and instructed the shuttle driver not to bring us back to the airport. Given her demeanor I highly doubt we were the only ones who got treated this way. Lexi refused to escalate the situation to a manager or corporate and is clearly there because her patently either own the place or she is sleeping with the right people. Anyone else looming into legal action please feel free to reach out.

First bad review I have ever posted! If I could give zero stars..... Long story "short"!!! DON'T Use this Company unless you want to drive with insects in the vehicle!!! I usually always look at reviews first but, I booked my flights on Southwest then added a rental car with my flights... I just saw Fox listed and the cost then reserved on Southwest. BIG MISTAKE!! First, the van was all beat up inside and out. We didn't notice the bugs until that evening... My son went out to get something and came in and said the van was infested with tiny little bugs all over the console then saw them crawl into the vents, then saw them everywhere... So my wife was furious and afraid they had gotten into our luggage. That's when I look up the reviews and saw that this is common with this outfit. If price is low- there's a reason!!!

Worst car rental agency on Maui. Hours suck and our flight got delayed so when we landed they were closed. Went next day to get rental and they gave it away and didn't have anymore cars for rent. Terrible company. The last thing a person needs on the beginning of their vacation is trying to find a car rental even though they pre-booked a vehicle. Also if they were going to give my vehicle away at least they could have called me and ask me where I am or if I was still coming.

Tried them out for our yearly trip. Rented a minivan for 2 weeks. Everything went well and staff was friendly. The only difference between Fox and other brands was the shuttle pick up location at the airport is at the center island. I liked that they emailed jpeg files of existing scratches and dings at the time of pick up. All of those were minor and we had to look carefully to find them. Minivan was in fine shape with no issues at all.

My husband and I are on our honeymoon and we flew into Maui yesterday during the day. We picked up our car and drove it to our hotel to check in which was 45 min away. We went to go out later that night and when we got into the car I saw two bugs crawling all over the centre console. The light in the car did not work (of course) so we we used our cell phone to shine a light and there were at least 20 bugs (two different kinds) and they all went running. We both jumped out and were horrified. Even writing this review is making me itchy. We then took photos and closed the door and did not proceed to go out that night and went into our hotel to have a much needed drink. They must only come out when it is dark as we did not notice anything during the day. At this point we had only had the car for 5 hours and we took it from the rental company to the parking garage at the Kaanapali Hotel. My husband got up at 7:00 a.m. this morning to be there for 8:00 when it opened to return the car. They made him speak with Fox on the phone which took forever. We rented the car for 6 days and they would only compensate him for 5 days. This company honestly wouldn’t give him back the money for one day after we had to drive all the way back and return it, waste tons of time on our honeymoon and deal with something that is unacceptable!!!!! It’s disgusting and unprofessional. We rented a car on Oahu and the Big Island with a different company and had no issues at all and nothing but professionalism and the cars were so clean and in great condition! Most importantly no bugs! Needless to say I am still waiting for my husband to get back which is now going on 4 hours and he is being shuttled back to the airport to be picked up by another car service that he is now renting from. I would have gone with him but I couldn’t get back into that car. NO ONE should ever have to deal with this on their vacation OR honeymoon! Plus, such bad customer service. The money for having the car for one day was not a tremendous amount but it is about the moral of it. They should have went above an beyond and should have fully compensated us! Plus they should have saved us time and did this fast! Especially with all the pictures we took! Stay away....what a waste of money and what a waste of precious time. I’ve never had a terrible car rental experience until now. Check out Yelp. The car was filthy, damaged, and they stopped running the shuttle/answering phones and hour before they close. We also found a live cockroach in the car.

This place may have some of the cheaper rates but they fail to mention that it’s not located at the airport car rental building. They simply say to take the shuttle at a numbered location. They give you the business hours in the confirmation email, they close at 5pm and if you get in later someone will be there after hours. Well they never asked me what time my flight got in. Garbage

Rude & maybe dishonest at Maui branch. We did not elect to pay for insurencefrom fox because we have insurance. After suffering the impolite service while picking up our car we drove 1 mile to Costco, bought stuff, the key fob would not allow us to open the door. After 1 hour wait, Fox sent a tow truck & opened the door but the car would not start because the battery was very bad with a huge amount of white corrosion covering it. The tow driver then stated we would owe him $140 according to Fox because we refused to by auto insurance from them.what, no way I told the driver. Then we all sat, with our groceries going bad in 85 degree heat. They would not answer my call until I borrowed a phone with a different number.& finally they sent someone, that never apologized & acted like they were doing us a favor not to charge us. The driver & the Fox employee seemed to know each other & I am concerned this situation has happened in the past, 3 hours later we left with our warm & some spoiled groceries. Fox is the worst!

I got the extra insurance they told me they would waive the cost of the additional driver. They scanned my license.Then i was involved in a accident, ended up costing me 5 thousand dollars. They just wiped their hands of it I will never use this outfit again. Make sure if use this outfit you get copies of the insurance and a rental agreement with your name on it.

BE AWARE !!! Cockroaches mostly under the car rugs but all over the place. You will notice them more at night. They don't take good care of the cars, they don't clean them. We had to change 3 times cars. During pick times you will wait at least hour and a half to get your car. Don't be cheap because I assure you, you will regret it!

I contracted to rent a car and after waiting over 30 mins. for the pick up van to arrive I waited an additional 20 plus minutes to speak with an agent. The first statement from the agent was we have to increase your rate by $15.00 per day because I was over 75. That was a great start to a vacation. The agent informed me it was a company policy and that I should not blame her. Nothing in the rental information addressed this up charge. After going back and forth for a while the agent pointed to a sign stating they can refuse to rent to any individual and she terminated my rental and sent me off without a car. You will be taking a hugh risk renting with this company and as noted in other reviews the agents are rude and obnoxious. Renter beware.

If you are reading this prior to renting from this horrible company, please read all the reviews. I have rented many cars and I have never experienced anything like this company. The dirty car I ended up with, that took hours to get, with only 3 people ahead of me, did get me to my hotel. After checking in I got back in the car and it wouldn’t start. I spent my first evening trying to get ahold of someone, tried every number that I could find. Road side assistance never returned my call. The car sat until I finally got ahold of someone the next day. What if I would of been on the side of the road? The person I spoke with, I told her to please switch my cars. She said, oh you don’t just want us to fix it? I told her I just didn’t feel comfortable with this car and knowing if it breaks down again, There is no one to get a hold of for help. They did not bring me a car, they changed the battery and called it good. The “mechanic” left the keys at the front desk. The car did start so I drove two blocks to a beach, when I got in the car after about an hour, it hesitated on starting. I had, had it by this point. It took me another day to speak with someone, the manager? owner? Ron (that’s the name he gave me, I don’t think it’s his real name) told me they will not reimburse me anything and that the car is fine. He was yelling at me. When I went to turn in that day (because I needed a car I felt safe in) Ron had instructed his workers to charge me $800.00!!! After I realized this, I went back in, I was crying , People were staring at me, I am sure wondering what was happening. Ron then reimbursed me $500.00. They charged me $300.00 for 3 days for a car that didn’t run. NOT ONE PERSON at the company has ANY customer service. It must be a family, as they stuck together with treating me badly. One gal at the desk was laughing because I was so upset.They are all horrible. I hope this review helps others to not experience what I did. 3 days of my vacation wasted. Anyone wanting to take them to court, Please contact me.

We found out the morning of the day we traveled to Maui that Fox/Allsave Rent A Car closes at 6 p.m. Maui time (we arrived at 10:50 p.m.!!) I was worried, but was quickly offered an airport drop off of the car. Ashley immediately emailed me and started the process for a lightening fast contract signing. She was so fast and responsive, it was by far the easiest car rental process I've ever had! Once the car was parked at the airport (when we were over the Pacific), they left a detailed voicemail as to the exact location of the car for both me and my brother-in-law, who was scheduled to arrive first. We paid $75 for the drop off but it was worth every penny to avoid an arrival disaster (and saved a'll the time you usually take shuttling to the rental location). And so far, the minivan was newer, clean and and we are happy customers! Highly recommend.

I rented a car under the Fox car rentals however it is actually Allsave car rental. I have rented from Fox in the past and been happy. The car they gave us was a beat up mustang. Dents,scratches, no Bluetooth, headliner is tearing on the inside, brakes pulse when we stop and dirty. They refused to get off their seat to go outside to look over the car with me, stating they know about the damage and will email me. I thought that was weird so i took my own pictures. Also they said no smoking in the car with is great, however it had been smoked in and started giving me a headache on the way to our condo. I called the next morning to see about getting a different car, this lady named Sensi (sp) became defensive with me. I asked for the manager and then she started yelling at me and hung up on me. I was polite the whole time. I called the next day, manager was again not there so someone gave me Ron’s cell phone, i left him a message and never heard back. Do not rent from these people. Horrible customer service and the convertible i rented was gross.

DO NOT rent from this company if your life depends on it. If I could give 0 stars I would. We wanted a cheap car rental option and this is the one we went with. The car was infested with roaches and tiny bugs that bite. We were eaten alive and itchy within hours of picking the car up. We are in a tropical place so that is understandable but the customer service that ensued ruined our vacation. They ultimately charged us for the full term of the rental, wouldn't let us drop it off early, wouldn't pick it up without charging us $50, and were completely unsympathetic. We were stuck and couldn't get around while we waited for them to tell us that they didn't care that they gave us a car with biting bugs in it. We had to rent an additional car from another company. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

The shuttle bus stop ride over was good, the bus was clean and the driver was friendly. However, we waited around 40 minutes already, being second in line. Was never promised expedient service, however this is just unacceptable.

Not great. The car we had was really old with breaks that screeched. The passenger window control was not working, and the headlights did not work with the dash lights. Lastly we weren’t told that their shuttle stops running at 5:30, so we were left stranded but this didn’t seem to matter to the people working there. Good price, but not worth the compromise. Would not use them again.

I rented the only available minivan from this company for our vacation. I was worried when I saw the reviews, but my concerns were unfounded. The staff was courteous and very helpful both during pickup and return (I interacted with multiple people, and they were all good). The shuttles from and to the airport we're on time and fast, and the drivers were helpful. My only complaint was the condition of the van. The key fob battery was very weak, making the door lock functions fail intermittently. One sliding door never opened or locked even though the car gave the beep sound that it was locked---that door had been left unlocked for two days before we realized the lock tone was not reliable. We had to open/lock it manually for the remainder of the week. The tires were not fully inflated either, which was easily corrected at a gas station, but shouldn't have been necessary. There were other "age" issues as well which I don't experience with the bigger rental companies (cruise control failed on the 2nd to last day, for instance). Took off one star for the condition of the car. Overall, I'm satisfied with this company, and I'd rent from them again without reservation.

Cockroaches, cockroaches and more cockroaches!!! Never have I seen such filth and unprofessionalism. The whole car was infested. Everytime we opened our car doors, the pests would start scrimmaging under the floor mats. We addressed the issue to the manager and he was not even surprised! He said that it was 100% normal on the island! Pay a few extra bucks and save your sanity. Thanks so much Fox for ruining my trip to Maui and the potential roaches I may carry in my luggages back to Canada!!!

We made reservations for a Jeep and received a confirmation for one. The next day, we got a call from them saying that they may not have a jeep and they offered us a convertible at a discount so we agreed. The next day I received an email confirmation for the jeep. First we had to wait 20 minutes to get picked up. While we were waiting, we saw the other car rental shuttles drive by 3 or 4 times before ours finally arrived. We showed up an they didnt have a jeep, or the convertible that they offered us (and guaranteed would be there). When i tried to explain that they assured us we wiuld have one or the other, the "supervisor" kept cutting me off and was being so rude. They told is to pick a car and they would call us when they had a jeep or convertible and we could switch. They never called us. After 2 days we decided to go with enterprise and they had exactly what we wanted (at a better price also). When we returned out car to Fox, they had a Jeep and convertible sitting in the lot. Such a waste of time and money. I will never use fox again and would advise against trust them with your car for your vacation. Rude, unprofessional, and a reservation literally means nothing there.

I love the service, price for 3 days was great. I was able to book online with no problem, picked up the car with no problem, and returned it with no problem. It was a clean car with great gas mileage I've never driven a Toyota but I was impressed. We only had to fill up once we were able to drive all over the island on a tank of gas.
