The Sixt Buckhead Location is the BEST., Excellent Customer Service, Great Staff ! The Buckead manger has a great professional personality and he clearly has trained his staff to provide the same excellent service. I will rent from them again. This is the greatest rent a car companies that I've experienced in all of my years in traveling. My service representative Monae was a gem, she treated me with care and provided impeccable customer service. The staff at the Buckhead location are Amazing!!! I suggest next time you're looking for your next rental car. go to Sixt Buckhead, they treat their customers with Class !!

Bad customer service ever!!! Reserved a car, time, pick up location 2 days before, but when we went there they don't have any full size car for us. They sent us to other location and over they are they want us to pay extra, because of changing location. Never go back and don't recommend others

This was my first experience with Sixt and I was very pleased. The car they brought up smelled like smoke and the agent smelled it to. She said I could take the car and meet my wife for lunch so they could get another one cleaned for me. We did the swap and I couldn't have been happier. I will definitely rent from them again!

I'm still confused for upgrading my car. Fist of all, I have to say the staff is polite, but when I asked her to help me to upgrade my car since I am an Platinum Member, however it's refused except I can pay more money. To be honest, I was a little bit of angry since they have cars but not pay adequate attention/respect the rights of platinum members. She said it's overbooded. But today I search it, there are a lot of cars are available right now. Could you please call me or email me to upgrade my car at your earliest convenience?

Had a car getting repairs so I needed a rental car for a day trip with Buckhead pickup option. Office was easy to find. I asked for a premium SUV, but all premiums were gone , so I was given a complimentary upgrade to a luxury SUV, which included unlimited mileage. Very nice car, in great shape. Office was clean, offered free water or coffee. Staff was friendly and quick to serve. Return was easy. Just pulled up and they just scanned my receipt, did not even have to go into the office. Would rent from again.

I have been meaning to write a review for about 3 weeks now , sorry i am late ! I have rented from this location a couple times , I even have a membership. The customer service is awesome , the employees are very reliable , need a car at last min this where to go I have been assisted by Richard a couple of times he is excellent, very knowledgeable, I not sure if he is a supervisor but he is always there handling issues and assisting customers. 10 stars Richard . You represent Sixt with such high level of professionalism .

I had a reservation through Priceline to pickup full size car at 7pm. When I arrived at 5 after 7 found out that they closed at 7. The employee was very helpful and rented me a car. But they didn't have a full size only an economy car. Which made me disappointed in Priceline for making a reserve for a time when Sixt was closing and for a car that wasn't available. I usually always use Priceline but probably won't the next time I need a car. ☹️

I normally rent from Hertz but they were out of cars so I tried Sixt for the first time and it went great. Best thing about it for me they accept debit cards with 2 utilities Bill's in your name (showed my online electric bill for 2 different months from my phone) which is very convenient if you currently dont have a credit card for whatever reason. I booked it online and paid the Pay Now price which is cheaper than the Pay Later price. $200 deposit that you get back in 3 days. The staff were nice and everything went smooth & quickly. I'd Definitely recommend this location & company.

While the car I got was in good condition, my overall experience at the SIXT Buckhead rental place has convinced me not to rent again at SIXT. I rented the car for two days, from 5:18pm on a Saturday to 5:18pm the following Monday. I was very careful with the time, making sure that the car and the car key were returned to the store before 5:00pm. When I received the invoice through email, however, I was informed that the system recorded that I had returned the car on Monday at 6:30pm. SIXT therefore proceeded to charge me the fare for 3 days. I immediately contacted the customer service, but I did not receive a reply. After TWO MORE follow-up emails urging SIXT customer service to reply, I finally got an email lecturing me on their "30 minute grace period" policy. The email explains that SIXT is refunding that extra-day of charge "as a onetime goodwill gesture" because I had "only" exceeded the time limit by "42 minutes!" Instead of inquiring the person at the desk who actually took my key before 5:00pm, SIXT chose to believe that I had returned the vehicle late. Knowing that I was not even at Buckhead after 5:10pm, I am certain that the mistake took place on the end of SIXT: either the staff working at the desk forgot to check my key back in, or the check-in system malfunctioned. In the end, SIXT customer service neither acknowledged my narrative nor apologized in any way. The way SIXT handled the issue was condescending and unacceptable.

Had a reservation for the midtown location worst customer service ever !! Rented with sixt in other states than Atlanta never had that experience , went there no car available !! Agent didn’t even tried to help . Call the buckhead location and young lady said I can head over there they have a car available . The agent that assisted me Richard is excellent, greeted me as I entered , offered me a bottle of water , very professional , knowledgeable ! That’s the customer service I know sixt gives to customer . I see his name on almost all of these reviews , I experienced it 1st hand .

Horrible!!!! In an emergency situation they made it worse. I spent over 50.00 to get to the office and over 400.00 on a car just to get there AFTER speaking on the phone multiple times and be told.."oh sorry, we don't take that card.." BUT YOU TOOK MY $400 ON THAT SAME CARD ALREADY!!!!! I got a shrug, sorry and paid another 50 to go back home! Never again and NOT recommending them! Ever!

The front desk agent (Brooke) was excellent. She explained about insurance, addt'l mileage charges if driven beyond the border states (and BTW this is clearly stated in the contract, contrary to another reviewer's comments) and pointed out previous damage to the car. The car was fully fueled and clean. I would definitely rent from Sixth again.

Not only was the rep on the phone who helped with my reservation, RUDE but she also seemed as if she was being sassy with me. I get to the location to pick up the rental and they tell me they cannot take my debit card bc it doesn't have a chip. I paid $20+ both ways just for them to turn me away bc I didn't have a chip on my card. Please correct me if I'm wrong but NOT ALL DEBIT CARDS HAVE CHIPS!!!! NEVER AGAIN...

Simple online scheduling process The disappointments: for a company that positions itself as upscale , the experience was far from it: > Very slow check in / pick up process - 1 person working with a line inside. Granted it was a Saturday morning > Car was ok, but was dirty when picked up. > When i returned vehicle, the desk agent was more interested in continuing to watch the video on his phone than to make eye contact and answer my questions about getting a receipt to confirm I had turned in ahead of the due time. > Asked for a receipt confirming I had turned in the car , was told I would receive automatically once he processed the return in his system later that day. I made a reservation for 3:00 and I arrived at 3:15 to pick it up and it was not cleaned. I was told it would be a 15-20 minute wait after waiting 20 minutes for her to learn she couldn't process my information until after the car was cleaned. They are very slow and the car I received was not the car advertised. I will not recommend service at this location.

Horrible. Front desk guy should be fired. The management was worthless. They scam you telling you "unlimited" mileage only to find out that you can only travel in states that touch the one you're in. It's buried in the fine print and nowhere to be found on any confirmation that is emailed to you. I've had better experiences dealing with rental car "scammers" in mexico. Don't waste your time. If I could give Sixt a negative rating, I would. I have had two very bad experiences, each time with TERRIBLE client service. After the first experience I swore I wouldn't go back. Due to the convenience of their location, I decided to try them a second time, and was appalled that my experience was far worse than the first. The first time they gave me a car that stunk of cigarette smoke when I requested a non-smoking car. I requested they provide a different car due to the smell, which they did, but the second car had not been cleaned and gasoline was on Empty. They were extremely rude to me, and did not bother to explain any features of the car, or ask if I had any questions. They shoved the keys at me and walked away. I spent an hour reading the manual to understand the multitude of technology buttons that ran the car. When I returned the car on Empty the way I received it, they then charged me $100 for not refilling the car. I had to call and submit a formal complaint, and then wait 14 days for the reimbursement. The second time they didn't honor my reservation. I reserved a car for pick up at 6:30 PM, and called ahead to confirm they would hold my car for me until then. I showed up at 6:30 PM and was told they had rented their last car for the day and had no cars in stock for me, that I'd have to come back the next morning after they opened at 7 AM to receive a car delivered from their airport location. I needed the car for an out-of-town trip leaving before 6 AM to make a business meeting. The inconvenience was extremely irritating--not sure the purpose of a RESERVATION if they don't hold your car, especially when you reserve it for a specific time AND call to confirm. But on top of them not honoring my reservation, their counter staff was EXTREMELY rude, dismissive of my frustration, and refused to work with me to figure out a way to get me a car that evening. I ended up in a scramble and had to go all the way to the airport at 7 PM to pick up a car (I opted for Avis. Great service!). This is not a good company. If you're looking to be frustrated with a bait-and-switch, or to make a reservation AND confirm it only to have it ignored, then this is your place. Otherwise, use LITERALLY ANY OTHER rental car company,

We booked our car and we went over to the Sixt office in Buckhead at noon to pick up our rental car, we were told we were on the waiting list. I even called them at 2.40pm to check on the availability. I was told we have wait between 3pm to 5pm and that they will call us back. Very disappointed with the service!

Total scam!!!!! Bait-and-Switch. Should be their company name and motto. Do not rent from this location. I confirmed an luxury sedan (at a price premium) for a client appointment and they forced us into a filthy junky sedan. They did not offer any rebates for the inconvenience. I requested one and was told to call customer service, then told by customer service I needed to ask at the local store. Lies upon lies. The entire experience lacked professionalism and any sense of good customer service. Very disappointing experience with Sixt. I will not use them again.

Rentals are not as expensive as enterprice. Only downfall is that it is not close to the airport. The choices of vehicles are not as wide as others but they have some nice vehicles that you csn choose from. I rented a 2018 xc volvo with nice features.

The young guy that assist me did not give me any explaination of why my transaction was incomplete. However, he was nice. First of all representative gave us Hyundai and when we came to parking lot I saw my car that l could take as written on my rental contact - RAV 4 My rental was paid in advance and representative did see that she was trying to charge one more time and was trying to push me to buy another insurance, even though I bought the full one in advance. When we picked the car it was late night. And only in the morning I saw that horror. Like someone throw up in the can, coffee and other liquid spots all over the car, like they didn't even bothered to clean the car before they gave this one to us. My trip was ruined and I was very upset with this vehicle. Just take a look at those pics and my Samsung is very loyal with colors. My first rental disappointment

I called customer service to book a 7 seats car on this location, they told me they had available and tried to convince me to pay directly on the phone but luckily I told them I preferred to pay on the office and went there directly after hanging up. When I got to the office they told me they did not have any 7 seats car and that the phone and webpage stock was not up to date with the one they had, so it was good that I did not pay, but I still lost valuable time going there that I could have used going to another car rental that did have the car. I think this is super irresponsible and a great way to lose a customer since obviously I cannot count on them for any future reservations.

Very dissapointed !!! I am handicaped, and they park their rental cars in the HANDICAPED SPOTS AND BLOCK MY ABILITY TO PARK... I currently go to Treat Your Feet for ankle therapy.... I call the police everytime I see them in these HANDICAPED SPOTS... don't do it !!

Do NOT, under ANY circumstances, think about renting here. This was my first rental experience and I will NEVER go back. These crooks are trying to charge me for damage to their car which was CLEARLY pre-existing as shown by the pre-rental inspection report below. When I called their claims office to plead my case, the woman rudely hung up on me. I have opened a fraud investigation with my credit card. RUN AWAY FROM THESE CRIMINALS.

RUN AWAY PEOPLE FROM THIS STINKERS AND LAYERS ! The worst company to rent a car .I and my friend rented the car and we told on unison that we doesn't need the insurance cuz we got our own and the manager told us that they must take a deposit as we agreed it turned out that we bought the premium insurance for $450 instead of deposit charge , bank confirmed that nobody charged a deposit of $600 after several month of discusses they said we were told about insurance and we signed , I agree at some point its our fault that we didn't pay attention at what we signed but on other hand its so degrading and ruthless to lie people in this manner lesson : always watch out for what you sign and don't trust people especially when they smile and pretend to be nice with you

The car selection is nice to choose from. However the deposit they have you put down is extremely high. Actually much higher than any other car rental place I have used. $1,000 is a bit excessive. The Buckhead - Atlanta, GA location is also impossible to get ahold of because the call system they have shuts off half way through when selecting to talk to a representative and ends the call.

I booked online, pre-paid and went in after work. I had an awful experience on the way with the Uber driver not coming to me or answering the phone etc etc. But I finally made it through. When I got in I was told there was weekly maintenance happening to the system and I'd have to wait an unknown period of time. First of all if you know this is going to happen every week at the exact same time why not block off those times online as pick up times. Then as I was checking out 20 mins after my scheduled pick up time, they say they're charging me a rebooking fee which is impossible to do when you've prepaid. So now I have to pay another way as the amount as changed and I don't have that on my CC card. SN: I called the bank and the CC people to paid that exact amount so I would have that and the deposit to rent. You can only do this once a day so them changing the amount screwed me royally. Apparently no one can fix, not even the manager only customer service. So not only is my CC card charged for the amount I prepaid (will drop off in 1-3 business days; but still unavailable to me at the time of checkout), but I have the same amount, plus a deposit, plus a rebooking fee on a debit card. I had made my arrangements to pay with the CC card and now my bank is taking that for those arrangements off my debit card and charging me for the car on the same debit card. A whole mess. Then he said he'd upgrade me for free but the deposit was higher, sir that's not free. This was the most anxious I had been in awhile. Had a whole breakdown in the car. Never again Sixt, ever!

Terrible customer service. The staff was rude and unprofessional. They didn't want to admit their mistake. At first they refused to get the manager on the phone. When they finally did, he was even ruder than they were. He allied me a liar. Also while I was there, other clients were going through their own problems with the staff. This was the worse customer service experience I ever had. I am never renting from them again, despite the fact that they are a preferred rental with my employer.

I rent 200 cars a year from National and never have a problem. I tried Sitx car rental for 1 day last week and was disgusted. Be very careful of this company. I rented from the Buckhead Atlanta location on a Thursday to do some business and bring the car back the same day. When I arrived back at their rental office around 6:30 pm, the office was closed. I went to drop the keys in a "key drop" and couldn't find one. I called the company and they said I would have to drive to Atlanta airport to drop off. I would then have to take a taxi back to the Buckhead hotel I was staying in. I couldn't drop it the next morning because my flight was at 9am and they don't open until 9. I parked the car in front of their office and left the keys under the mat. The next day I got my bill for 54.00 no problem. Later in the day I got another bill for 137.00. When I asked why they said the car was booted and ticketed. I asked for a copy of the citation and they said they had it but never provided it. I don't believe there ever was one. I have turned it over to my credit card company for investigation. The people are rude, inflexible and unprofessional.

I had a car reservation in Atlanta .I believed my location was midtown on Wed March 19th at 10:00.I had my conformation and called to the Midtown location.A inpatient Rep. answerd the phone and i ask her to check with my conformation but she didnt try to check for me and just told me come over and gave me the address 659 peachtree st. Atlanta When i repeat again about the address,she was not happy with that either. I asked my friend ride me to that location then She was waited for me outside.It was only one Rep.that she told me come over. Three people were infront of me and two others came after me. Finally extra help came and i showed her my conformation # and she said i have to go to the buckhead location and she doesnt have car for me.It was uninteresting as three of the customers bring back their rental car. I was so mad of this location and how they can not handel the customer as wasted our time to going to Midtown in place of buckhead location and then they dont give me the car. I left midotwn and fortunately my friend still was waiting for me.but she was in hurry as she had a clients in the north side of town and she had little time to drop me off by the buckhead location.if u look at yulp or google u can see all mad customer with one star .i hope their GM have attention for their horrible customer servuce witheir lazy unprofessional in Midtown branch. Then again i called to their 1-800 # customer service to confirm my reservation and location.It was funny that first their customer service said my reservation is in San Francisco....You can imagine how i was mad of the sixt customer service.After ten min explanation again,she said my rental car would be ready in Buckhead location.Ah... Fortunately buckhead branch were very difference and they had a good customer servuce.

There was a major issue when the reservations rep over the phone stated what i would need to rent car with debit card and i double checked as well just to make sure. Well she left out the detail that my DL address had to match my address on my utility bill, I had just moved less than 3months go and they don't take leases. In my opinion you better have a credit card with 500 at least on it to rent from here so its smooth, cant beat unlimited mileage. I called the representative on the phone and she was able to help me , then the on store rep helped and i made it to Delta on time. so thankful for someone going over and beyond, most dont care these days!

Cars in the picture are brand new and clean. After pick up it's really different, No clean, smell cigarette inside the car and much more. Was a bad experience. I used to rent car from enterprise but this time I assumed its cheaper and I can save more money, So I made a big mistake. My friends told me don't rent from this company but i did unfortunately. One of the least Pleasant Rental experiences I've ever had in my entire life. I thought about possibly rating it one star but that would have meant them shooting me. I rented the vehicle through a third party. I was quoted a price. When I went to actually rent the vehicle the cost was $20 more per day than what was agreed upon with said third-party. I have never had this happen in all of the rental history that I have had over the course of my adult life. The gentleman also tried to upsell me due to the fact that I am a 6-foot 4 gentleman he thought that I needed a larger car and he had a wonderful special for me for an additional $30 per day. I explained to him that I simply needed a vehicle due to the fact that my own vehicle was in the shop and vehicle that I chose would be just fine for me. When I explained to the gentleman that there was a difference in the cost he had no explanation for me other than he wasn't the one who set the price and perhaps it was a holiday season and prices are subject to change. Needless to say I was highly upset but my back was to the wall so I had to take the vehicle. To add insult to injury I was informed that if I in fact did not return the vehicle with a full tank which of course I plan to do... The cost would be $9 per gallon! It is also stated that there no additional credit card cost but my card was debited for $350 that I was not informed of. Very deceptive. The overall attitude of the gentleman that served me was extremely poor and he definitely did not care whether I appreciated his service or not. Under no circumstance whatsoever will I ever rent a vehicle from Sixt again sometimes you have to learn your lesson the hard way... Hopefully I have no issues when returning this vehicle... It is worst than what to think. Their customer service is below zero. When you want to rent they answer very quickly, but for any other questions nobody is there to answer. They return the deposit very late and charge you a lot. At the end you would find out that the other companies could have been cheaper.

STAY AWAY! This is a terrible agency. They are very slow every time you go there (have rented multiple times) and never have the car that you rented. The latest time, they delivered the car to me extremely dirty (covered in pollen) and then upon return, Sixt claimed that I had made a small damage to the car. The small amount of damage (<$50) turned into a claim for multiples of this after they added lots of ridiculous charges.

Have rented from the Buckhead location on numerous occasions. Have always had an excellent experience. Sixt always has relatively new, low milage vehicles available at competitive prices. This location has the additional benefit of not incurring the extra fees associated with renting at the airport. Their customer service including the counter agents is always superior to that I've experienced at other rental car companies

I guess those majority of us who routinely have a 4-star or greater experience at Sixt don't typically run to the web to shout it. Maybe we should! Mgr Kevin and the team at Sixt always take great care of me. There have been times I needed a certain option on a vehicle that not all models have. Although they can't promise or guarantee, they always seem to come through at getting one for me. And all-day-Sunday hours. I'll be back, for sure.

I just wanted to rent a car that is all but they pulled me into a lot different story. Their fancy car was damaged by a previous driver and they worked so hard to make me pay for it. If they car is damaged, run away or be very careful. Don’t trust the agents at the front desk! They sent me an email first about the damage and a letter and force me to file a claim. I rented cars from other companies many times. I haven’t seen anything like this.

Decent cars, deplorable service. I rented a car from them last week; the website showed a Mercedes, so I rented that one. I arrived and asked if they had the Mercedes available and the counter staff pretty much laughed and said they never have Mercedes at the Buckhead location (!!). Instead of the pictured Benz sedan, I received a Volvo station wagon. So, whatever. I am renting a car because mine is in the shop. I had to extend my rental, and of course you have to come in to the location and physically sign papers because they cannot extend the rental beyond 4 days. I arrived at the Buckhead location this morning, and was "helped" by a woman named Ms. Hawa***** [name concealed]. I handed her my credit card, and she informed me it was declined. I found that strange. I asked, "are you sure?" because the card in question has no credit limit. But was in a hurry to get to work as I had patients waiting on me to perform their surgery, so I handed her my check card. Well, they don't take check cards, only credit cards. So I got out cash and asked how much it was, and turns out they don't even take cash. Credit cards only. The young woman rather sarcastically said "maybe you know of someone with a credit card?" Long story short is that I experienced very poor customer service. I like the location, the Volvo is ok I guess, but wow are the reps at the customer counter lazy, with attitude. No thanks. It didn't used to be this way. At their old location a mile away when they first started a few years ago it was supremely good service. Not sure what happened there....

My wife and I had to return a previous car to their airport location after picking up a van at the Peachtree location (to accommodate friends who were coming into town). The representative at the Peachtree location told me he could check the car back in there, without extra charge, to save us the trouble of driving back through the horrible traffic around Atlanta's airport. From renting the van to returning it, Sixt Rental staff were quick, efficient, and very friendly (even offering us free water bottles on a hot day). I'd rent here again for sure!

If I could give them zero stars, I would. They are a very shady company with some arcane and random "geographical restrictions" on their rentals. They claim the rentals are unlimited mileage, but one has to dig 3 pages into the terms and conditions to find out you can't travel beyond the immediately neighboring states. In what world does is make sense to be allowed to dive to Key west from Atlanta, but not to New Orleans. If they are going to have such weird restrictions, so different from all the other major rental companies, they should be upfront about them. Not bury them in terms and conditions. Learned my lesson for trying to use them instead of Enterprise. Never again. Booked and prepaid for a trip 3 weeks in advance. They won't refund me or even let me use the credit at a future date. Stay away!!! Contacted the local DA's office to report predatory practices.

Terrible experience. Terrible management. This location does not have a key drop off which they will not tell you about so if you return the car early, there is no safe place to return key. They appear to run a DONT ask don’t tell type of policy which leaves rooms for lots of grey areas. The Female manager was very dismissive and apparently speaks sign language because her hands were in my face as If she wanted to have a physical confrontation. Unprofessional is an understatement. More training should be implemented to avoid miscommunication and possible physical altercations. Hertz, Enterprise, Avis will be my future selections.

I usually don't write reviews, but this is the second bad experience with this company. Both times, they did not have the car that I had booked. The second time, I even called prior and they said it will be ready. When I arrived, I had 3 choices and nothing was remotely close to what I had booked. I had to settle for something lesser and was assured that I would get a discount when I return the car. They lied and would not fulfill that promise.
