I rent from here several times a year. Always a good experience with the staff, even after dealing with unnecessarily rude people. Cars always reasonably clean, easy to find , and ready to go. I will continue doing business here and will recommend anyone else to do the same.
Waited way too long for them to find the car we ordered weeks in advance. But when we finally got it, the car was clean and fully gassed. Return was simple.

Go somewhere else. Nobody is on one accord when they say they gone hold your money till you bring the rental back that's a lie. They take your money before you even get ther car. The so called supervisor or manager at the Columbus ga airport location is rude AF. She dont listen to nothing your saying she dont let you get a word in at all. She is extremely rude. These people are at the avis counter. There is no one at the actual budget counter because Avis and budget share the same company. They don't apologize for nothing. They eat in front of you. They don't have your rental ready when expected. Ther customer service is the worse. I will find a corporate number to call and hope its not the same experience. Never again.

Rent the car first time from this place. The guy on the counter was extremely nice & helpful. Upgraded my vehicle without any extra charge because of my travel distance and looking at weather conditions. Highly recommended if you want to rent the car.

The young lady at the counter, (I wish I could remember her name), was very kind and professional and answered all of my questions. It took only minutes to complete all of the necessary paperwork and my car was ready and waiting. Returning the car was very easy and fast. Additionally, the shuttle to and from the airport runs regularly and expediently. If I ever have to travel again to the Chicago area, I would definitely book a car through Budget Midway.
Don’t ever trust the people there, they are basically thieves and their customer services over the phone the worse , I rented the car last minute up on the other company that I rented were closed, the lady up front told me that the whole tank will cost $35 and I told her ok, then I brought the car back thinking that I’ve already paid and that will cost me just 35, later they charged me $106 for gas, what a rip off. NEVER RENT from them.

I am extremely pleased with my most recent experience with Budget rental. It took my family 3 days to get to Louisville because of bad weather while traveling. Upon arrival Charles was a site for sore eyes and was extremely pleasant to deal with even though though it was very late at night and he was busy with his hands full. He kept his cool and handled the situation like a professional. We had some trouble with the rental but he went over and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We had a lot of luggage with us and he made sure to help us get something that could accommodate even though his system was given him some trouble trying to process the reservation. I normally rent with hertz but canceled my reservation with them due to poor customer service and Im extremely glad I was booked with Budget. I booked a prepaid reservation via priceline and Im very pleased it was assigned to budget. I will definitely be booking more with budget as a result. I run a business of my own and I wish I could have employees all like Charles.

I had to wait an hour for my car when I had a reservation. The clerk kept inputting my information incorrectly and had to do it three times. The fees ended up inflating my original cost in a way that I had not seen when I rented from other rental car companies. Next time I will go with Enterprise or Hertz.

This was our first flight into Boise Airport so we didn't know what to expect as a rental car experience at the airport. What we found from Budget was one of the easiest rental car experiences I have ever had. We were greeted by an extremely nice agent who had our car ready and paperwork already complete. We grabbed our paperwork and proceeded out to the vehicle which we could easily walk to. We found our car, packed up, and we were on our way. Upon returning the car, we drove right up and the agent checked us in and we were on our way into the airport. Overall, this was an extremely awesome experience. Thanks so much Boise Budget!

If I could give them no stars I would. Terrible customer service , the customer service representatives looked and act as if working was the last thing on their minds . BEWARE of how they use your bank card, they say it's just to hold, we'll that's a LIE. They will charge you before you even bring the car back. Let's not forget, the car was not clean... Easy to rent from them but it's not worth it.
No customer service. When I got the car the guy was in shorts and a hoodie on the whole time. Only one guy doing everything. Vacuuming and helping customers. When the guy gave me the vehicle and I checked it, it had a broken tail light. I'm glad I notice because 8nsaw the guy walking around the car so he had seen it so I'm sure he wanted to pin it on me after I returned it. Not before or after a greeting or thank u. All u get is a here u go! Filthy place too!

I have rented 3 times in the last two months and have had an excellent experience each time. I was in and out very quickly each time and returns were very quick also. Each vehicle was clean and in great mechanical shape. At the last visit I was given a free upgrade due to the distance was going to travel. I highly recommend this business.
Recently I rented a car from this location for four weeks. Omar provided outstanding customer service during that time. One week I realized my garage door opener was left behind. He made sure to grab it before that vehicle was rented. The entire process was easy from start to finish.

It doesn't come any easier than an airport pick up/drop off with Budget. What a terrific staff! My only problem was with the car I rented - a 2015 Chevrolet Cruz. It's not all that comfortable and unless you have the manual in the glove compartment you may spend as much time as I did figuring out how this car works. All in all though, still a good buy for the money and ease of doing business.
I needed a rental to get to my aunt's funeral. Budget was the best priced and the staff was beyond helpful and friendly.

Would not answer the phone. Rented a lovely Nissan Versa 5 door from Hertz instead. Liked it so much we are thinking of getting our own.
The people who work here measure everything in bag space. Last I checked a bag is not a unit of measurement. What kind of employees are you hiring? Or what are you teaching them?
I couldn't have been treated better. I have the Fast Break so that helped me get through the line and to my car in less than 5 minutes. Plus the clerk was great. Finally, the car was so clean I thought it was brand new, but the odometer showed 20,000 ish miles. Nice work Budget!
Hi I got my reservation from Costco so I was kinda concerned doing it through a third party. I was so surprised and appreciative at the service I received!! Ozzie was great at taking care of me and answered all my questions that I asked and didn't ask!! Customer service is rare now a days so I am very grateful for Ozzie or izzy for taking care of business!!

I repeatedly rent cars for vacation trips, often using Budget and competitors Alamo and Enterprise. The Budget car agency at Standiford International Airport was very easy to deal with, had my car ready and then readily swapped it for another when the first one was smokey - something I'd asked to avoid for allergy reasons. When the car developed transmission issues on the first day near Knoxville, we were able to easily switch out the car for another with the assistance of the Budget Roadside Assistance crew and the staff at Knoxville Airport. They even retrieved quickly left behind sunglasses! When I returned the car, I had no issues.
I loved my reservation and the agent whom waited on me I never have received services like this from budget, great job folks putting those smiles in the front end keep the mean disrespect don't want to work folks in the back.
Car was great as usual. This will be last time I use them. Not allowed to leave your vehicle parked there according to owner any more. Guess I go back to Hertz or Enterprise.

Avoid this location. I've had a issue with a rental a couple of months ago but figured it was a one time thing. I was wrong. I figured I would give them a second chance so I prepaid a reservation for a minivan. When I went to pick it up, they inform me they "have no cars". Never again. This location needs to be shutdown or the management replaced.
If I could give no stars I would. I had to contact the Budget to let them know that my rental had a scratch on the side and I tried calling the location at the Louisville International Airport...they never answer the phone. I called customer service and they weren't much help either. I also left my sunglasses in my car and I am sure that I will never get them back. Customer service says that I need to contact the Budget car location directly. THE WORST RENTAL COMPANY EVER!
Okay place if you need to get a car rental
Wish I could give these crooks negative stars. They quoted us a 12-passenger van at $695 for 3 days, then herd you through the process without giving you time to read everything before signing. When we turned in the van the bill was suddenly $1100 with a slew of bullshit charges tacked on. Then when you dare to question them, they print out this massive contract with your signature tacked on the bottom, even though none of these extra charges were verbally explained to you. The desk agents claim there is nothing they can do, so speak with your money and rent from someone else. Hell, walking to your destination would be better than these criminals.
Rented a little Ford Focus for the weekend to 'tour' a friend from Arizona. We drove that little car ALL over the Boise Valley and Beyond! and couldn't run the gas out of it! The staff told me upon pick up that I could return it Monday am, rather than Sunday pm for no additional charge. I was charged a late fee at the drop-off booth, but the counter promptly refunded the $ with a smile. Great experience!

FANTASTIC!!! Saved us when our truck was in the shop. I cannot believe how affordable they were. The other places (Enterprise especially) were four times the price. Such a beautiful car and easy pick-up and drop off.

From pickup to drop off was a great experience with Budget Car Rental at Midway Airport in Chicago. Every representative/employee I encountered were courteous, polite and helpful. Not to mention, the vehicle I rented for the 4 days was clean, smoke-free, and suitable for my needs. Every transaction and interaction including the short ride on the shuttle was flawless.

My husband and I are in Chicago for a wedding. We prepaid with Budget and then waited in line for a long time (close to 30 minutes). The staff person who was helping was kind and doing her best but I feel the company put her in a difficult position by over selling the vehicles that they didn’t have available (they were quickly turning around cars as they arrived back and guests waited). By the time we got our car it had a musty odor from the air conditioning and it was clear that they went through it quickly as things were not very clean. The cup holders had crumbs etc. Very disappointed by this experience.

I said car is smelling smoke they wrote on the agreement and second time I need to exchange at Louisville they gave a car which is not cleaned and when I went for exchange they said manager is not there he can't exchange the uncleaned car. I rented a full size (suburban). It was a great vehicle. The front counter staff was very professional. The only problem that I experienced was was the toll road electronic pass. It did not work. However, they reimbursed me for the tolls.

This was my first time using Budget. Was happy they offered a discount on prepay! And also seemed they had the best rates. On this visit, I was surprised to the new centralized rental center. Its being a while since my last visit. The building and structure itself is new and modern. Easy process checking in even without the express service they offer. I was a little concerned with how to return the car seeing first-time and the customer service guy didn't offer that information upon ck in, I had to ask and he really didn't explain well enough needless to say day of it was quite easy. The airport/rental shuttle bus on return was was heavily overpacked and I even waited for the next bus but just the same. Packed in like sardines, they really should have a limit of people / luggage seeing how often they do run which is a plus. Overall pretty good experience I would say!
From the minute I got on the shuttle bus greeted by the most funny driver having us sing "wheels o the bus " to meeting the nicest woman on the front desk , very helpful and gracious. Great car Chevy Malibu 2017. Definitely booking a gain next time I'm in Chicago

troubles with them from making a reservation, picking up rental, up to dropping off car. never answers their phone and "upgraded" me to a huge SUV because by the time they squared away everything they didn't have the car i reserved. terrible gas mileage and paid twice as much gas because of their mess up.
A couple of return flights cancelled, I rented the car at Midway and returned in Columbus. Staff was great, car was great, would definitely do it again!

The owner is so rude. He gave us the car with half tank and noted as full tank. Car was not clean or serviced, this was the 5th time we rented and it’s the same everytime. Very rude with customers, I was the one who went 5 times and always find him with same rude behavior. Never again I’m gonna rent car from this place. Not preferable place to rent the car.

Worst experience ever! Car was given very dirty (inside and outside) with bird droppings. When I asked the customer rep to please get it cleaned she said "ok, I can do only a little bit of sweeping on the inside, not the outside". By the way, the lady was very rude. To make matters worst, the car did not have water for the windshield, at least to clean all the dead bugs + bird droppings + overall dirtiness from it.
Hi I give Budget 4of5 stars because over all service was good and they beat the competition pricing. I chose to get the rental from the airport it seem as though the rate was better then just a stand alone facility. But there were a couple things I saw that can easily get adjusted. Customer service on the phone was great found the best pricing for me. I picked up at the sdf airport in Kentucky. The rental agent lady at the counter of Budget she was heavy set Caucasian lady did not look happy.The greeting was not warm at all. I started a conversation with her she warmed up then everything was ok. This was about 7a.m also so not to make excuses for her but alot of people is probably not that happy in the morning. I got my rental it was a dodge Mini van. Black on Black it was very nice with even black rims great pick for me. I called customer service that week to confirm my appointment and to put in my Request to make sure the windows are tinted and that the vehicle be clean. Now the first part was taken care of. The Windows were tinted. But the vehicle was dirty on the outside. Took it to get it washed before I left out of town. The inside was lightly dirty. The carpet was not vacuumed. And the driver seat there were white stains on it. But given these few discrepancies. I wound rent again from them. Why? They had the cheapest price, the vehicle was under 2k miles. Customer service over the phone was great booking the rental reservation. That's why I would give them 4 out 5 stars and I will rent again from them!! Safe travels!

This location provides the worst customer service. The front desk staff is very rude. The car are never clean in the inside when rented.
We received a fabulous ride for a very reasonable price. The Subaru we received had incredible gas mileage so we travelled a whole lot of miles for a small price. It was easy to pick up the car from downtown Chicago. We took the "L" to Midway Airport and hopped onto the shuttle bus which took us to Budget rental. Within 15 minutes we were on our way.
Also a very terrible experience. Car was due back at 8:12 am on a Monday morning. I dropped car off on Sunday evening when facility was closed but discovered that they did not have a key drop off. Just about every rent a car facility has a key drop off so I was surprised. I left car there. I asked someone to drop off the key that morning but they didn't make it there until after 9 am that Monday, less than an hour late. They charged $19.50 extra. I called and could not get through to a 'manager'. The regular office number goes to a corporate number and they refuse to refund the extra charge. Although I agree, technically I owe it, they have lost a good and regular customer. Enterprise is a few blocks away and they have a 2 hour grace period. They have their issues but would never have charged me extra in a case like this.
Fastbreak seems to be a joke. This is the second time I went to pick up a car at midway airport and the car wasn't ready. Not to mention the car was dirty and smelled like cigarettes.

Great experience! Check-in was fast and hassle-free. The customer rep was great and took care of us. Got a nice, comfortable car, fully loaded. Glad we made a reservation with Budget as the counter was open until 2am. We didn't get to the car rental center until 1:15am. All other counters were closed. Great value for the price we paid.

I pre-paid for the car 24 hours earlier and upon arrival not a single car was available. We arrived at 8AM and the place opened 15 minutes late. Also, lady at the front (owner) said she did not have any car for me despite the fact that I already paid the day before online and she even had the nerve to be rude and provide 0 accommodations! 10 minutes later while we were trying to find another car rental place, someone walks in with a return and we asked if we could take this rental; She said no its for someone else but clearly was lying as we were upset and she seemed to enjoy this. Oh and to top it off she did not offer a refund.I called Budget and they said she should have. They refunded me and the supervisor on the phone let me know that this location is franchised and has many issues such as this.
Best experience renting a car. It was so easy and smooth. From catching the shuttle (was outside waiting for passengers) which leaves you at the door of the facility, we got taken care of right away, the wait was very minimal, once done with paperwork, the car was upstairs ready for us. The return was very easy too and most importantly very fast. Once again the shuttle was waiting out front and got to the departing terminal right away. It was the best experience I’ve had renting a car at the airport.

Did not help me figure out the vehicle...couldn't find the lights they just laughed at me then refused to take my coupon charging me the highest rate for bothering them 3 days 775.00 yep I will tell everyone I know they take advantage of stranded travelers horrible customer service too!

I recently rented a car from Chicago's Midway Airport. I am a Fast Break member, which I highly recommend! It makes renting so easy!! I received a new 2016 Ford Fusion, and I couldn't have been happier. The quality and cleanliness of the Budget vehicles is definitely noticeable compared to other companies within a similar price range. I love Budget, and with experiences like these, I will continue to look at them as the first option every time that I rent.

We are behind schedule due to our rental van was not cleaned had tons of dog hair and smelled like dog p. I spent 2 hrs on the phone trying to switch vehicles because there was no way l was going to allow my family to ride it this van for 1065 miles...my daughter was bit by fleas...l had to drive w air freshener under my nose as l got sick out the window...my son got sick in the van due to the smell. The original manager when l called to complain about the dog hair apologised for the van not being cleaned and said she would make a note on it. I thanked her and hung up. She then called back and said she would deduct 50.00 from our bill. I was fine w that at the time. That was BEFORE l dove it and turned the AC on. Once the AC was turned on it was a totally different story. WHAT A NIGHTMARE...and after we switched the van out can you believe not one call from a manager to apologize for the trouble. If this were my company and l knew people got physically sick from my smelly van. I would fire the people that did not do their job and give the family the New rental at a BIG discount. I WILL NEVER RENT A VEHICLE FROM BUDGET PLANTSIDE DR LOCATION AGAIN
Very friendly employees who are eager to help you. Picking up and dropping off (with Fastbreak program) was simple but I had to go to the Fast Break counter to get my car since it was my first time picking up from this location (understandable). This took a little time (less than 10 minutes). Someone else took the car that was assigned to me; not sure how that happened but a similar replacement was quickly found. The employee at the check out gate (to leave the garage) was very helpful with directions and friendly. Dropping off was simple and hassle free. I will say the elevators going back down to the rental lobby was quite slow but otherwise had an excellent experience.

Terrible. My prepaid vehicle I rented was not available upon pick up. They had no idea where the vehicle was. I was sent to another location 10 Miles away from that location. Upon pick up, the interior of the vehicle was dirty and tire pressure was low. I called Budget and they were not helpful at all. They offered me $10 off of my next rental. They did not even care that I had to drive 26 miles round trip out of my way, in traffic, to pick up the vehicle. I will not rent from them again.

Easy pick up, Easy return. Boise Airport was a snap to navigate and get to and from. Only item and it was very minor was that the inside of the windows could have been cleaned.

Hidden charges, multiple employees unable to successfully operate their computer system, topped by one who was exceptionally rude and combative when I insisted she find my original reservation, instead of doing a new one that wouldn't have any discounts, makes it unlikely that I will never rent from Budget/Avis again, especially not at MDW. My original quoted rental charge (via Southwest's reservation system) was $118, the actual charge was $358...never again, especially when I can get great service from Enterprise or Hertz in the same facility, with no hidden charges. In fairness, the employees working when I returned the car were courteous and efficient, so maybe I just caught them on a bad day earlier...but the hidden charges and mark-ups indicate deceptive corporate policies.
Be prepared to wait, get the run-around, and have minimal help. I've never had such a terrible time getting a rental, and this location at Midway Airport is the absolute pits if you aren't flying into/out of the airport and using the airport shuttle.
Long story short the lost and found and customer service dept was very unprofessional. I returned my rental on the 26 of March a few weeks ago. As soon as my daughter realize she left her tablet in the vehicle I called them and no one answered nor returned my calls and there was numerous voicemails left from me my friend and my mom. They are only trying to help me because I live in Georgia. 4 days went pass no return call and yes I filled out and a lost report. So my friend just so happened to work at midway and he went up there to actually talk to someone for me. They told him the car was already rented I had to wait until the 31st of March because that's when the vehicle would be returned at OHARE. So I waited. I called the OHARE location and he picked up right away! told me to hold on while he looked for the car and he found the car and the tablet inside as well..Meanwhile while he searched for the car he put a hold on the car so it wont be rented out like midway did!!! Long story short Midway didn't even try never to call me back until today and she lied on my voicemail and stated they were still looking for the tablet and she would call me back for an update. I have an update for you! Dear lost and found lady, they found my daughter tablet already and I have it in my possession thanks to the guy that works in ohare lost and found lol... I've had it for 2 days thnx for lying on voicemail.
It took to long. ..I was suppose to pickup my car at 6PM glad I moved the time up I would've been there for 3 hours ...but they just need some counter help an maybe some people to detail the cars at night. ...I'm looking for a part time job I'M RETIRED.... I liked absolutely nothing about it the experience. .. I found illegal drugs in the rental after they let me drive away with my kids in the vehicle and all they did was say sorry and they insured me that their best guy cleaned the car before they rented it to me I am not done with this cause not only was I not satisfied with the rental or the situation but they still charged me full price after I took the drugs in and layed them on the counter..I called to get the franchise owner information but no one could give it to me so I am going to keep trying... this got posted under the wrong name the renter is was william houston

Absolutely unprofessional. Reserved a car online, received confirmation went to go pick it up and lady stated we don’t have a car for you. She proceeded to say maybe we would if they didn’t come back to us with windshields broken and flat tires. Interestingly enough that really isn’t my problem as a customer that was told they reserved a car for me. I was then told my confirmation doesn’t mean anything since it comes from a different state. Just wow.
Many post have relatively similar issues. The line was out the door Friday morning and one employee was working the counter. About an hour later another employee joined her. We waited about well over an hour with little to no apology. Not sure we’re interest in continuing with car rentals with budget.
Under normal circumstance renting a vehicle should not be a tedious process. However, the woman that assisted me was extremely rude, in return made the process a drag.
I use Budget Fast break every other week and they are fast, friendly and the cars are clean & new. Very happy with them!

With plenty of lead time to secure the vehicle I had reserved for a business trip, Budget not only failed to deliver the vehicle I had reserved, but did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation in spite of a $450 commitment on the part of the customer.

Brought vehicle back with almost a quarter tank more fuel then when I picked the vehicle up and was charged $57.94 for almost 6 gallons of fuel at $9.99 a gallon. The attendant did not even look at the read out. I happened to take a picture of the vehicle at pickup since it was not full just in case they tried to overcharge. After 3 phone calls and now 4 emails that contains pictures for the proof and 6 weeks later still I have not received my refund. I can only imagine how many customers have been ripped off!
Car not clean upon pick up! Major damages not noted prior to me picking the car up. Thank GOD I checked prior to me leaving the lot.

Couldn't have been easier, and the car couldn't have been more satisfying.
The cars at this location are not well maintained. Water spots everywhere, worn tires, several cars were visibly in an accident at some point yet apparently driveable. One car I was offered as a free upgrade, a Ford Fusion, had a hole in the right front tire that you could fit your finger in and clearly see the inner sidewall. It was not fit for use, as were several other vehicles in the lot as I decided to peruse before making my way back and requesting another car. I’d recommend finding a comparable deal elsewhere (all the rental companies are in one area about an 8min walk outside of the airport). Otherwise no issues with Fastbreak check-in or check out.

Super long line and only one employee. Over an hour and a half to get to the counter. All the other car rental lines moved fast. But not Budget.

Awesome experience dropping off the be. Chatted sports with attendant for 5 minutes. Had a lot of laughs. I drive a vw myself daily so was familiar with the vehicle. Only comment is my car was on a space with an Avis sign above it on pickup. John B
Great customer service and the car was in great condition. They didn't have what I had originally booked and paid for, so they gave me an upgrade. The only downside was that it was an hour wait at the Budget counter to pick up the car, and then a similar situation when I returned it.
I reserved and paid for a car in advanced at this location. My pickup was at 8:00AM. At 8:15AM I'm standing outside of the office knocking on the door. There was a post-it sign on the door that read "went to good year please call this number". I called the number and told the lady I was trying to pick up my car and was told there were no cars. I said that couldn't be right because I prepaid. She just kept repeating that they had no cars at that location and offered to give me a number I could use to get a refund. You know, the 800 number I can get myself in a second by Googling Budget. Meanwhile, I'm standing in a parking lot at 8AM which is empty on a Sunday morning and looking at Budget cars parked right outside the office. I guess it is possible that six cars, three of which had plates from other states, would park in a block formation outside of a budget office in an otherwise empty parking lot. However I am going to go out on a limb and assume they are cars that would normally be available for rent if the person "working" the office was actually there to do so. I made all my plans ahead of time which transportation played a big role in. I was supposed to be on the road early that morning due to a tight schedule. I had to cancel my plans all together which is infuriating after taking the time to plan everything ahead of time. I had to waste more of my time by calling the national line that offered me a car from the airport. Way far away and way later than I needed to be. I canceled the prepaid order and was told that it would take three to five days to get my money back. Bonus! Clearly, this is off the charts poor service and outright incompetence. I will never rent from Budget again and I will make sure no one in my family does as well. You can't get worse service than this from a rental agency. I should have taken the already poor reviews for this location into consideration and stayed away but I decided to give them a shot anyway. I would recommend that people not rent a car from this location or Budget but apparently that is not needed seeing as though they are already doing a great job at not handing out keys as is. ***Update: I drove back to the location at 11:30AM that same day and the door was still locked with the post-it note attached. Meaning, the office had been unattended from 8AM to 11:30AM. Apparently the sole employee at this location had some major business to do with "Good Year". Coincidentally there was a man walking up to the door and trying to open it; he called the number on the note when he realized the door was locked. I wonder what story he received. I am responding to Budget's email request and awaiting to see what their response to this is.

This is by far the slowest and least efficient car rental counter at Midway airport. They share a counter with Avis so the Avis customers get priority from all the agents on duty except one who was strictly for Budget. Start to finish was over an hour. Its worth paying a little more for better and faster service.
Stay away! I rent the cars for over 10 years usually at different car rental. I had never problems with them. At this time I wanted give you a try. I'm really disappointed!!!! All yours employees at Midway location were rude! No one smile, no one said hi. Why? Because it was 4th of July Holliday? It is not my fault that they have to work at this day. I posted the question on Facebook's grups about the car rental. Everybody said that I should have possibility to choose the car. They didn't give it to me. At different car rental I go to the office, do all paperwork and then they send me outside to choose the car from my grup. At Budget Midway location clerk gave me the paperwork with the car on it. I had no possibility to choose anything! I needed "smart" car for long road trip. And they gave me Jeep Wrangler 4×4! I spoke with the other lady and asked to change the car for me. She said that there is no more cars to rent and I have seen lot of them! I drove out and after a few miles discover the chip on the windshield! Do they have an eyes? How they didn't see it? Wow! I came back and told them about it. The lady which I met when I returned the Wrangler was really rude. She took the car key and threw it to the windshield! Wow! I first time have seen something like that! Then they gave me another car. It is really sad that employees of this location are lazy and liars! Nobody said, "sorry" because of that chip on windshield. I'm really disappointed! I will never use this car rental again!
When I picked up my car the guy behind the desk came out with me and pointed out a few scratches on the rear bumper, he said that he had noted the damage before I left. When I returned a female employee: Elina, told me she did not have her copy of the paperwork so I gave her my copy. She came out to the car and saw the scratch and accused me of the damage. She would not contact the other employee who was aware of the damage and she had my paperwork with the scraches noted. She was extremely rude and we are now stuck waiting to hear back from the company. Extremely disappointed, this started as a pleasurable experience and has been tarnished by an unprofessional employee in a bad mood.

I returned my rental car on Friday, 3/31/17. I realized that I left some items in the console of the car. I asked the desk agent if they could call the people who just rented it after me. They claimed they didn't have a number to reach them. I think it's pretty standard that you have to leave a phone number with the agency. I was told that Dani would be calling me back since she is the only person who handles lost and found items. Numerous messages have been left for Dani (it's 4/5/17), and she has failed to return my phone call. This is the first and last time I'll rent from Budget.
Easy pickup and return. Car wasn't cleaned inside. We reserved a minivan, they didn't have any and upgraded us to a large SUV instead. Everything was explained well at pickup. Would rent again thru them
The car had bug splatter on the windshield. When you opened the doors, you can see red dust from where the car had to have been driven on a dirt road. I think the only thing that washed the car before I got it was rain.

Horrible front counter representatives!!! I rented a car this past weekend. The outside lot check in person told me to write down the mileage and take contract inside. Still haven't figured out WHY he didn't check me in. Anyway...As I approached the counter another customer was in front of me. As I stood in line for over 15-20 minutes, I was shocked when I noticed the front counter African American representative, by the name of "Andrew" carrying on a "worthless" conversation with the customer in front of me. They were talking about everything EXCEPT the rental car she was either renting or returning. He looked up, and saw the expression on my face, and kept right on talking to her, as if he wanted me to wait longer. He even stopped typing on the computer several times to chat with this customer even more. By this time, another customer arrived and stood in back of me, and even he noticed the worthless conversation going on. We both stood in amazement. The Budget representative acted like we didn't even exist or we had all the time in the world to listen to his conversation with another customer. When I approached the counter, he was still yelling and talking to the woman in a loud tone as she was leaving out the airport doors next to the Budget Rental car counter. Wow! How unprofessional. I can't believe he wasted almost 20 minutes of my time talking about worthless things and taking his sweet time checking this woman in or out. And to make matters worse, another representative came out of the back office and just stood at the computer and NEVER even asked me or the other customer if we needed help. As a matter of fact, he carried on a conversation with his co-worker. He didn't even have on a name tag, and his appearance was just sloppy and unprofessional. Also...when I arrived at the counter that morning to pick my car up, the website says Budget is open at the airport at 5am....Come to find out, they don't even get started until 7am. False advertisement. I went by what the website hours said, so I was standing at the counter looking crazy. When I asked the "Hertz" rental car agent next to Budget, what time did Budget get started, she recommended that I go down to Avis to get checked in. The Avis rental car agent was checking in another customer, and he even saw me standing at the Budget counter and NEVER waved for me to come down to his counter, even though I noticed him looking at me several times. He was so busy TEXTING on his cellphone. The Hertz rental car employee informed me that when no one is at the Budget counter, that usually Avis will check a person in. When the Budget employee finally arrived at 7am, she was unprofessional and rude and stated that they don't get started until 7am. If this is the case, then Budget needs to update their website with the correct times!!!! Why have customers arrive early, but have then stan in line? I think I will start rental for Hertz, since their agents were nice, helpful and professionally dressed and neat in appearance. Horrible experience.
This location is a joke. I have made a total of two reservations here. For the first one, I set up to pick up the car after work. The place had no a/c at the time, the rep training the new-hire was unprofessional, and when I was given the car, it was filthy. No detailing done. They did not have anyone to clean the car. I took the car because I was tired and didn't want to argue any further. The second time I made a reservation was to pick up the car yesterday. I prepaid to reserve the car, as it clearly states online that it would RESERVE my car. When I get there at my scheduled time, they tell me they have NO CARS. They didn't call me with the excuse that they didn't have my number, but it's on my reservation...so that was a lie. They couldn't transfer my reservation to another location, and couldn't refund me my money. I have to call a customer service line to get a refund. Like I said, this place is a joke. There should be an option to give no stars.

I wouldn't rent from here if you are needing a specific vehicle or a CLEAN vehicle. I just rented a full size van and called the office requesting a Ford Transit, if possible, over the Chevy van. Website does say I would receive a Ford Transit, or similar. When I spoke to this branch, they told me they rent out both but didnt foresee an issue with me receiving a transit. He even said he'd call me a few days before I was to pick up the rental if he didnt have a transit so I could find one elsewhere. I've rented the Chevy vans before and they don't seat people the same as the transits. When I arrived the pick it up, he told me he had no transits and never let me know. I was stuck with a Chevy that didn't seat my group nearly the same way and drives horribly. If you have back issues, the Chevy full size vans are awful. When I told them I'd take the Chevy van since it was too late to find a transit, the whole inside was filthy. Used kleenex, food, etc. on the floors. Dirty napkins, ziplock baggies of food found in the pockets of the doors. Grass and sand covering the back end of the vehicle. On top of that, the van smelled like urine. If the bulk of your fleet are Chevy vans, put Chevy Van, or similar, on your website. Stop advertising Ford Transits. VERY disappointed with Budget and will likely choose to rent elsewhere in the future.
James' customer service at the Chicago Midway Airport was superb. He was genuinely concerned about our Chicago experience and upgraded our rental at no additional fee since we were traveling with our kiddos. Thank you for taking the time James! Worst rental car experience it’s not about budget but to this location specifically. This manger on 05/01/2019 is the most unhelpful , no customer service, came up with ridiculous policies that I as customer with a history of more than eight years renting cars nationwide.

Rented a Mustang Convertible. It had several scratches on it and a few dents. I took photos of them but there was no one outside when I picked up the car to point this out to. I was handed a key at the desk and told to go to row H. The next day discovered one of the visor mirrors was cracked. When I pointed this out upon return the attendant didn't act like he was concerned. He was more concerned about the gas tank not being full. He could not find in his computer that I had paid for it. That is why I keep my receipts. After showing it to him, he miraculously found it in his computer.
Budget is regularly a great deal, but sometimes at the expense of good customer service. This location offered the best service I've had among Budget locations, and you should have no qualms about going with them. General note about Midway: shuttle trip to/from rental center will add up to 10 minutes to your schedule, so beware if you're pushed for time.
Budget Car Rental Airport location in Columbus GA has the worst customer service and employees. I went in to pick up a car I reserved and was told I was on a Do Not Rent List and was unable to pick up the car. I was not notified of this prior to me getting there and was told I would have to talk with the Manager. I called their 1 800 number and was told I was not on any Do Not Rent list and I also called their Claims department to see if any claims had been submitted in my name and was told No. I have rented from Budget for years until today and I have never been denied a rental car. It’s ridiculous that I had to make an unnecessary trip and could not get a reason why I couldn’t get a rental car. Best believe I won’t be doing business with them again in life and they need hire a whole new staff and get some professional people in their facility..
I received a letter 2 month after my reservation saying that I had to pay $241 for a Glass Damage during the course of the rental. The van was returned in good conditions and I have the receipt signed by the person who received the car. Still trying to solve this issue with Budget.
09/15/15 As usual, this Budget facility was outstanding. Our plane arrived early and that put us at Budget an hour earlier than I had booked the pickup. They had no vehicles available yet, so we just waited in the office. We joked and talked with the staff for about 10 minutes, then Stephanie said she was going to upgrade my vehicle. Instead of the Ford Escape I reserved she gave us the first available, a BMW SUV. OH MY that was fun to drive for a week. Stephanie was a happy spirit and focused on her customer's needs. Thanks again to the Midway Budget team for being so great to work!

I don't ever write reviews, but this time it is worth doing. I had the best service ever renting at Budget Kendall Miami. They actually had the car I reserved online, unlike the other two local rental companies I rented from in the couple of weeks. Randy went out of his way to accomodate our needs and was extremely pleasant to speak with, as was his partner. I rent cars in the Kendall area for several weeks on a yearly basis. This has by far been the best. Congrats to the new management on offering a great rental experience.

It was a great way to end my long drive. I made sure to stick with Budget on my next trip to the same airport in three weeks! They charged me 500% more than I was originally told and I have so far not been given any reason as to why.
I have been so impressed by my experiences with this Budget facility! I am in my sixties with not much car renting experience but my father's health has caused me to rent a vehicle at the airport 4 times this summer and fall. I have been treated so well by the counter personnel and the pricing and quality of the cars I have rented that I have returned to Budget each time. I hope other Budget facilities are operated so smoothly and considerately. I know exactly who I'll be booking my future rentals with!
I was hospitalized (with proof available if needed) I had my daughter to call about changing locations to prevent over charges for dropping of later than reservation time, talked to 4 different people yet no one could help me because their customer service center was closed and the airport location where I originally had reservations for NEVER picked up the phone the 10 times called. I will NEVER USE THIS COMPANY again
My husband reserved a car TWO weeks in advance and the morning we went to pick up the rental car, there's no car..... they had given it to someone else (like the airlines, Budget overbooked & gave away our car). The lady at the front desk was the most rude, ghetto ass POS we ever had to deal with.... did not do one thing to remedy the situation. We almost lost our reservation at Disney because of this. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY !!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !!!!

I booked a car for a location in downtown Chicago and when I went to pick up the car, the location was permanently closed. They refused to honor the rate quoted and charged me an additional $400 for 5he rental. At this time I would not recommend Budget Car Rental.
Everything went smoothly with this rental. Agent was friendly and knowledgeable. The car was as advertised and ready when I arrived. Drop-off was easy and shuttle to airport was there waiting for me at 3:00 am.
I will always use Budget for my rental car needs. The prices are great, the staff is very friendly and pick up and drop off are always quick and stress free. Their cars are clean and I always feel like I am driving a brand new car. Thank you Budget for all your help.

Worse place ever! Not only did I receive a car complexly filthy but when I went to return the car they wanted to charge me for another day when I had the return time setup for 1:00pm. As soon as I entered this location someone named Vanessa greeted me in a rude manner and throughout the entire time remained an aggressive and rude tone with me. This was my first time renting from here and I will never come back nor would I ever recommend. Worse place ever!
I am a fast break member so we were quickly waited on and able to get going. Staff was friendly and the car was very nice.
All related locations (Budget counter and pick up lot) were conveniently located within one another, The check out process was rather quick (a long process has always been my complaint, regardless of the rental car company), the car was very clean and drove smoothly as if well maintained. The after hours drop off was not difficult to figure out, although it did take some time. If Budget wants to increase its customer service focus I'd suggest training your agents to volunteer this information during check out for customers needing to use the after hours drop off service. It'll save your customer time if/when running late or having to figure it out in rigid cold, snowy weather as I did. But not a big deal after the Budget overall experience. Just a suggestion.
Budget Fast Break is the simplest method for the car rental experience. The MidWay Airport location was fast and easy for both pickup and return. The folks were friendly and the facility was open and good lighting.
STAY AWAY. SCAM ARTISTS! First we thought our credit card was stolen. Turns out, in a way, it was. We drove from Rockford to Midway and somehow 2 months later we are charged over $500 in exhaust damage? How in the hell? Never ever EVER will I rent from Budget and it's other companies, such as Avis. @#&@ them. We will fight this damage bill. NEVER rent from here. Pay the extra money and rent elsewhere and from now on I'll take pictures of the UNDER CARRIAGE too (I always take photos of the exterior). Never did it occur to me a rental car company would cheat me to get free repair work like this. @#*& Budget. @#&* Avis. I've never dealt with this before and I am really pissed off. I have requested time stamped photos for immediately before and immediately after we rented the car. Am I suppose to trust there's some random damage that I had no idea about was caused by us? Exhaust damage? I am livid. DO NOT give them your business. This company is DEAD to me.

Manager special. Fairly new For Focus with 14k miles and active SYNC and Sirius subscriptions as bonus. Picked based on new appearance and tan leather, go figure. Drove great in slush, but i'm from New England. Wet snow on steroids in Nov-Dec.
Not happy when I looked down at the fuel gauge after I left the Airport to see I only had 3/4s of a tank of gas. When I returned the car, I went to the Budget Desk at the airport where the agent was only too happy to give me a fair adjustment to my final bill Thanks
Bad customer service. I reserved a car with a debit / credit card but when i went to pick up the car they wouldn't accept it. My employees had my master card. They wouldn't take it by phone.
The Budget Car Rental process was fast and easy. The car had more cosmetic damage than I expected to see on a rental car. (my flight was significantly delayed, so I believe that I received the final vehicle in the category that I selected. However, the kindness, courtesy, and professionalism of Mr. Bob Smith significantly overshadowed the vehicle cosmetic flaws. Our departure from Louisville, KY was very early which meant that we'd have to use the Budget Dropbox to return the rental since the desk didn't open until 7:00AM. Upon reaching the Dropbox I realized that I had no idea where the rental contract was..... Fortunately Mr. Bob Smith was walking by and was kind enough to take down the mileage, my information, and accept the keys despite the fact that they didn't open for another hour. As if the act wasn't awesome enough, 30 minutes later Mr. Bob personally tracked me down at the security gate to provide me with my receipt so that I'd have it prior to departing Louisville. This level of customer service is extremely rare these days. I wanted to write this review to give public recognition to Mr. Bob and let him know that he is APPRECIATED!
Tried to pick up my car at 11 pm with reservation confirmation number and was refused service. I am a frequent business traveler and have never seen such rude service. DO NOT reserve with them.. Left me to take a 16 mile cab ride and stranded at the hotel until I can rent a car the next day. It WON'T be a budget rental that's for sure. Would love to give zero stars but that is not an option.
This is by far the best customer service I have had in a long time. Anthony has never let me down when I needed a car for business or vacation time. Remember this is under new management and you can tell the difference from past management. This team has turned it around completely and are giving 5 star service all the time . Location is clean and easy to deal with. Sign up for fastbreak and it makes it even easier. We did originally request a Ford Explorer when we showed up they were apparently out of them and trying to give me a Dodge Journey. I’m not to keen on the Dodge product so I asked for a change to a Subaru Crostrex and loved it. It was smaller than the Ford Explorer but that was my choice to drop in size. The process to get them to swap out for me was easy and only took a few extra minutes to make sure I was satisfied and I surely didn’t have any problems enjoying the Subaru. It was a fun little car to drive. Drop off at this location is simple and friendly service.

I have no complaints, customer service was Top Notch the clerk was so very helpful. I usually use Enterprise for rentals but I didn't this time and I'm glad because Budget is cheaper and I was so greatful for all the help the clerk gave me.

So when you come to Chicago, I don't recommend budget. I realized I didn't need the car. About the time I realized it and wanted to return it same day. I was told by customer service:. "You can return the vehicle early ,but you will be charged for all days you contracted to use the vehicle. ". So I thought just for one day?, I asked no all the other days also. Really!!!
I travel for business quite often and always rent at budget. They have the best prices, good car selection and they are well cared for. The people are always helpful and sometimes will give me a better car than I reserved, if they're available.
Everyone was helpful and friendly. I wanted an upgrade because of a storm and they bent over backwards because the AWD cars were gone... but they pulled through and found us a vehicle. The service is quick also. But what I really want to say is that we had left an IPad in the car and they called me within an hour and we were able to retrieve it quickly. Thank You... Whew!

Writing this review as I wait for a reservation specialist to help us. I got here at 8am. Now, there are only 2 agents and there are 15 of us in line waiting. It is ridiculous that 15 people are waiting and you only have two people working the desk. It shows you don't care about your customers or how long they wait. With this being a special event and knowing there are going to be thousands of people here for this event renting cars, why would you not prepare staff better? Dollar rental has 4 agents, enterprise has 4. I'm renting elsewhere.
Need to know how your system works. Your system tells me that my car is reserved and when I get there I am told there are no cars available. On top of that there are people waiting for their cars that they reserved before me. So why not just say no cars available??? I waisted money to get out here to get a car that's not here. Unprofessional and a horrible system. Need to fix that.
They work a little slower but they changed my broken car fastly and kindly that took from jacsonville.
The agents were pleasant and went out of their way to help me.

My father, Orlando Ruiz and I are very disappointed in this company and the poor customer service delivered to us by Randy. My brother was going back up to his University and the family wanted to take him, we needed a lot of car space for everything he was bringing. We paid for a Premium SUV; a Chevrolet Suburban or something similar. Not the smaller Infinity XQ 60 we received. I couldn’t even go with my family due to the lack of space. Upon returning this vehicle we were greeted with sarcasm “so how was the ride? Was it up to your standard?” no; it definitely was not. Never returning and I do hope that for future reference this company will take into consideration that when someone pays for a specific sized car, they deliver. And if they’re not going to give me what I paid for, at least give me the difference back.

Budget runs an efficient operation at Midway, which is a big, somewhat confusing airport undergoing construction. We had a hard time finding where to get the shuttle to the rental car facility but that’s not Budget’s fault. The rental shuttle runs every few minutes, and takes you right to the front doors of the facility, which is a multi level structure. Once we were at the Budget counter, the woman who processed our reservation was very efficient and pleasant. The parking garage where the cars are kept is a little stressful in that the exit & entrance are narrow, with many twists & turns. Take it slow! Checking back in was very easy and quick.
They were very helpful and met all my needs. Will use them again.

It was a mess.. it seems that it is hard to rent a car these days unless you are flying. The prices were high for a Sunday rental.
Worst rental ever. The vehicle I ordered was not avail. The rep was going to have to go to another rental counter to find me one or something like that. I was already running late and in a hurry, so I opted for the upgrade he suggested. It cost me $16.25 additional per day. Today, when I return the vehicle (early) the lot attendant handed me a paper and said I would have to go inside to the counter. Usually, you just drop the car off, get checked-in by the lot attendant and leave. I went in and one poor rep was managing the counter and there were 8 people in front of me. When I was finally helped, an hour later in total, I was told it was a machine error and everything was fine. Therefore, wasting an hour of my time and an hour of my co-workers time who was there to get me. As I was waiting in line, I heard the female rep give the customers free upgrades (from 5 pass SUV to 7 since 5 wasn't avail). This infuriated me as I was made to pay for this yesterday when there was not a 5 passenger ready for me. Just as I was about to be helped a second attendant finally arrived. I received nothing from him but a very robotic sorry for the inconvenience. I was SO frustrated by this point that after I left I then called the 800 number only to be told after I had gone through the whole story that the system was down and I would have to call back. When I did, again I got a person who could truly care less. Can anyone understand the frustration? Having to pay for something that others were getting for free today. I even asked him yesterday if I had to pay since the one I ordered wasn't available. He said he charged me the least additional amount that he could for the upgrade. Then, after losing an hour of my time and my co-workers time today for a system error, I was offered no sort of compensation for that. To top it off, they put TWO $100 holds on my card. The only explanation for this that I got from the phone attendant is that it is within their rights to do so and each location is different. Some locations opt to put an additional hold on the card when you bring the vehicle back!!! Really?!?!!! This was a HORRIBLE rental experience and I will definitely think twice before renting from Budget again. The lack of caring is really standing out to me.
**ZERO STARS (had to click 1 star to post)** BEWARE - IDENTITY AND CREDIT CARD INFO STOLEN BY BUDGET EMPLOYEE(S). I made a reservation for my dad in April 2018 and after going to midway location to pickup vehicle, we learned that my son who is under 25 could not be added to the rental. My dad advised the Budget rep to cancel the reservation and she confirmed that it was cancelled. However, I noticed a charge from Budget on my dad's credit card a couple days later. After calling Budget, I learned that someone took possession of a vehicle and drove it for 2 days/311 miles under my dad's name and charged it to his credit card. I requested that the charges be removed and was told that an investigation would be required to receive a credit. It took approx. 2 weeks for the investigation to complete and for the credit to come through. The customer service from Budget was terrible. No one reached out to my dad/me to provide updates, nor was there a real apology or any offers for our inconvenience. To top it off, one week later my dad received a ticket in the mail (for a car he never rented, but was stolen by a Budget employee). The Budget rep who attended to my dad, and all other employees involved, including the one at the Exit gate, should be terminated and charged with identity theft.

Rented a car through them first the man working the counter shoved a chocolate rice crispy treat in his mouth and the proceeded to mumble at me with his full mouth. He was very rude and did not seem to like his job at all! When it came time to pay they charged us an extra 100 dollars for loss damage waiver that we said we didn't need because our insurance covers rental cars. When we asked why it was placed on there he said because we require it on all our rentals. After pointing it out that it's under optional services he said well it's mandatory here. When we got the car it had a horrible smell and then on top of the stink it smelled like they tried to cover it up with perfume. Will never get a car through them again.when I called to complain the people over the phone said talk to the people who you rented it from I can't help you. Horibble service! Enterprise from now onnever had a problem with them.
They don't even vacuum the cars after they get returned, this is the second time that I received the car dirty at these location. I'm never going to rent in this place, I was discounted $ 14 for being dirty but it was not a pleasure trip to go in that mini van.

Great prices. When we booked he let us take a look at various vehicles and then provided us the exact vehicle we asked for when we arrived to pick up the rental. Vehicle was in excellent condition, and full of gas ready and waiting for us. We will definitely rent from Budget Car Rental in Johnston Iowa again.
I wish I could give no stars. The Midway Intl Airport Budget location was HORRIBLE. Unfortunately, I didn't have much of a choice since my flight arrived at 11PM and most of the other rental companies were already closed. (I always use Enterprise.) The staff member was rude, very unfriendly, did not review any options, or go over ANYTHING about the rental. She was clearly just trying to get rid of me and end her shift. I always get information on optional insurance coverage, pre-paid fuel, upgrades, etc--not this time. NOTHING. I wasn't even informed if my reserved vehicle class was available or what type of vehicle I was getting. On top of that, the car was filthy, smelled like smoke, and had low tire pressure. I will NEVER use Budget again.
Tricky! May seem like a deal but is not when they charge you for a whole day upon picking up your rental KEYS 4 minutes early and don’t even inform you that you are doing so! Waited in line 15 minutes too. I contacted customer service to no avail. I have never ever had a problem like this with Enterprise or Hertz. We had to search the parking lot for rental all on our own as they have no staff in the parking lot, which is a 10 minute walk from the car rental are at this location. Also we hated our rental van. Warning if you are taller than 5’ 10” that you cannot adjust the drivers seat to move back but only higher in a 12 passenger Chevy van. Or if there was an option there was no customer service rep to help us figure it out. Also there was no circulate air button to keep exhaust out which was awful whenever we were in traffic or near skunk roadkill. Wish we had gotten the Ford Transit and not “or similar” as it was not very similar.
The staff here was amazing. Our plane was delayed so we called ahead and Ashley and the crew kept the counter open for us to get our car. Super fast with check in and got us on our way. Drop off at the crack of dawn was more of the same fast drop off and paperwork was simple. Will recommend my friends to this brand especially this location.
Manager was very helpful. We rented two cars over the winter break - traveling to San Antonio. Clean, spacious SUVs. Since it was winter break, the minivans we had booked were not available, but the manager went out of his way to show us other options and upgraded us to a luxury SUV for no additional charge. Was very happy with the customer service.

I rented a GMC Acadia from Budget. The SUV had 5,000 miles on it. The people at the front desk were friendly and efficient. The car turned out to be a very nice ride. Midway Airport is easy to get in and out of. My only issue was the owners manual was missing. I would recommend Budget for a car while visiting the Chicago area.

This past weekend I flew through Midway from ga. We reserve a carvat budget under the information that was given to us that we can rent a car with a debit card we would just have to pay a deposit. We said ok. Then the day that I came into town. My brother was told that he needed a major credit card but was a given a different location where they can take debit cards. He got there and was told the same thing the airport said to him. So he told them to cancel the reservation. So come today to find out the the guy at the second location never canceled the reservation and they refuse to give me my money back.
I got charged with 307.51$/day I am not sure, what is the reason I picked the car from, Boise and dropped at Redmond Washington, I have asked before dropping at that location from actual location(Washington airport) and the person who rented me a car, said me that you can drop at a different location, there is no price difference (Even though I got charged extra) And, I forget to refuel when dropping the vehicle they charged me 10/gallaon? I will never ever rent a car from BUDGET!
My first time using Budget and I was COMPLETELY satisfied with the friendly staff, quick service and quality vehical. I am looking forward to my next car rental with Budget.
Didn't have the car we had reserved, they went to another agency and got a car which was good , car had 1/4 tank gas paper work said full ,called the company and they said no problem . return car charged $48 for gas .told the counter person the story about the gas said he would refund 5 days later not refunded yet . double check your paper work before you leave!

Very disappointed with Budget at this location. We rented a car in August, 6 weeks later I received a bill for $150 for a nail in the tire. We did not drive any construction sites etc- granted nails can come from anywhere. But a nail can be in tire for weeks or months before causing an issue but somehow Budget thinks I'm responsible for the nail. I asked for proof that the nail was in an area that could not be patched and proof that it happened during my rental but they said they do not take photos or provide any proof and that they were going to charge my card anyway. I've never inspected the tires before a rental, but now I guess this is a MUST for future rentals. Rest assured I will never be renting with Budget again.
Sharon was downright RUDE. When I asked her to not interrupt and let the customer answer the question asked she twisted the wording and went on the defensive saying, “ you told me to shut up, no one tells me to shut up.” She then said, “Jesus help me.” And proceeded to tell me she had Jesus in her life and I needed to get him in mine. Customer service is everything and can bring a customer back for a lifetime or make a customers experience memorable. Sharon sure gave our family an experience. We will never use Budget at MDW airport again. We had a smooth trip until we had to deal with her. The manager then took care of us after we had to ask Sharon to call the manager about 15 times. She kept ignoring our requests for management. She was very combative, unhelpful, and UNPROFFESIONAL. We will be taking our business elsewhere from now on. Dealing with such an unpleasant, unhappy person is not what you pay a company for.
The car we rented was extremely dirty inside and out. The last renters must have had wet bathing suits on. I was the driver when I exit the car at destination my shorts were wet. Not happy

Was quoted $233.20 for a rental. Got to the counter and the quote charged to $427.51.. There were no other options for other vehicles. Budget quotes you a price then change while you are at the counter leaving you with no options but to accept the terms and rent vehicle. I Only had the vehicle about 15hrs only putting 18 miles on the vehicle
DO NOT RENT A CAR HERE. We got charged an additional 55.40 dollars for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. After an hour and a half of talking to the manager, the only reason he could offer was “this is how the system works and please have a good day”.
It is good to know I have been reading all the reviews and I have rented from budget many times before here in Florida and I have never had a problem with them. Since I am going to Chicago I was going to rent from Budget but since I am traveling to a different state that is not my local budget rental service, I decided to come and check the reviews for Budget rental service in Chicago. I am very happy that I did. Like the old saying goes I am not in Kansas anymore. People and service are very different from state to state. I will not be renting from Budget in Chicago I seriously do not need their employees rudeness, stealing, and no manners what so ever.
I recently rented a car to take my daughter to college. I loved the car I rented -- perfect for our long road trip. I would also like to compliment the Budget staff at this location. I was greeted with a smile both when renting the car and when returning it. Their price was also better than that of the competition. I will definitely rent from Budget the next time I need a rental car.

Everyone was cordial and the whole operation is ruthlessly efficient, at least on the weekend I went in April. Once I arrived, I think it took less time to walk away with a car I had reserved online than it did to get to the facility via the shuttle. The free shuttle to the remote facility is free and there is pretty much always a shuttle waiting to leave the terminal on the 4 minute internal. Returning the car was equally efficient as was the shuttle ride back. The facility is still pretty new and well kept up.

Great place I will keep coming back. Usually after the 4 or fifth visit to a any business you may encounter an issue even if it’s tiny. So far no issues and I have rented 7 times so far with them.
I can say the Agents at Louisville International Airport have assisted me in everyway to accommodate me with the car of my choice. They spoke to me professionally and also took a few minutes "if not busy" to offer help that I ask. It was regarding a personal issue I was going through (Auto Accident & Insurance Co. Issues). No words in the English or Spanish language can describe the horrible service and experience at this location. Should there be a way to leave negative stars I would have. These people are never here. Always at GoodYear, or out cleaning a car; you prepay and it is a joke because you expect a car and well guess what? Oh we are all out of cars. Then they may dig one up. Tires flat on the floor reaking of cigarettes. Oh there is a problem? Hello. Just said tires were flat. You could step on them they were so flat sticking out of the side. And yea I don’t smoke and there is a fee for smoking, I shouldn’t have to pay for a broken, stinky, dirty car. And good luck calling the 1800- telling me I could transfer to another location. No one else has cars!
Good rates but cas not completely cleaned outside. Requested baby car seat and mentioned at counter when we went to car no baby seat.Had to go back to counter to request again. The seat was the cheapest crappiest baby seat that we had to install ourselfs.If this is the garbage they give their customers to put their babies in then best to bring your own.

But i had no choice , I called them Tuesday and I've reserved a midsize vehicle for Monday 6 a.m.. when I got there Monday 5:55 a.m., customer service was okay. but he said my reservation was for noon!!!! Even though i called few times to double check! that was my problem! and he told me only available vehicle they had was a SUV. It didn't change my plan pretty much, but I can't give them 5 star

I had a great experience with my rental from Midway Airport. Fast Break is the way to go, it is worth taking the time to set up an account. In fact, my original reservation was made before I got the account. Once I signed up, I called to make sure it was all set - and when the person the phone reviewed the reservation, I ended up with a better rate. I was thrilled with this. No line, and when I had trouble with the newer type of key that you don't put in the ignition, a person on the rental floor from Budget was very, very helpful! He took his time to show me just how it worked, and gave me advice of how to not keep the key in the car, always have it in my purse - otherwise someone could literally drive off with the car if I stepped out and didn't lock it. Great advice. Loved the care too, and it was the lowest priced I could find. Return was easy as well, and they offered to get me a luggage cart, although I didn't need one.

I hate off site rental cars, but Budget FastBreak makes it tolerable as you avoid the rental counter. Cars are clean, well maintained, and return is easy.
Paperwork in auto terminal.. waited. Then had to go to parking garage and waite again. Grossly understaffed and duplicate waste off time.
Flew in on a Saturday. Only two agents working. Two hour wait to rent a car.

Please, be aware that Budget Car Rental over charges their Fastbreak customers and other customers a double up charge for adding additional days on your rental. Their excuse is always the same, “We had another customer in line for your rental, so had to double up. Terrible customer relations department. I want a refund. I tried to file a complaint but to no avail. There’s no legitimate complaints department.
Worst car I have ever rented. One start only because the woman at the counter was nice and she is not at fault of the issue. First, I arrived on a Sunday morning and there was a line of about 5 people. Only one person doing everything. The car they gave me was the same car that the person infront of me had just returned. That person had complaint that the car was dirty and smelled like marijuana. When the woman showed me the car I couldn't believe it. Even my 8 year old told me "Eww mom, I am not seating in this car". They don't even vacuum the cars after they get returned. I immediately called Budget and ask if I could go to the airport and change the car. I was able to change the car at the airport. Never again will I rent a car from this location.
Does it take too much of common Sense to staff the desk to handle Monday morning travelers. Simply pathetic. Not booking them anymore. No regards to fastbreak customers. Update:1/12/2019 - in recent 2 months, having picked a car almost each week, I have to say the service has turned around effectively to handover a car to fastbreak customers like me in under 2 mins. We obtained a great weekly deal through AARP, and then thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful new vehicle - 2019 Subaru Outback. EZ process to rent at Midway Airport. Even “EZ-er” to check in a week later. Highly recommend Budget at Chicago Midway!

I rented a car from this location for 11 days. I booked it about a month in advance. The car I rented wasn't available so they upgraded my car to something that turned out to fit us better. The staff was super helpful and I didn't get any hassles picking up or dropping off the car. The car was very clean and seemed to be well maintained. When we dropped off the car, one of the staff saw we had a ton of luggage and 2 small kids. He offered to make our trip to the airport even easier and it was great! This has to be one of the best car rental experiences I have had. I would definitely use this Budget location again. Thank you for helping make our vacation to Chicago more memorable. We didn't have to worry about the vehicle, but just about enjoying ourselves.

We got a great little rental at a fair price. I called ahead to book and had a confirmation number to expedite the process, when I got there computers were down. Understandable except the two times I've ever used them the computers were down. It took over an hour to rent the car.
The only thing negative: "Road Service" is the worst (we needed a leaky front tire replaced/repaired). Used AAA instead! Budget crew exceeded expectations in all categories! Excellent service @ Midway, easy in and out. Courteous and pleasant crew. Excellent service @ Gurnee, IL office where they DID repair our front tire. Mr. Anthony was fast, courteous, and professional. Appreciate the Sears staff as well. I will rent again through Budget.
They messed up my reservation and they were going to charge me triple to get a car 8 hrs early. Walked to Hertz and they got ma a vehicle and a great deal
As a State Legislator I need to use rental cars quite often. I have found Budget is usually the most reasonable in cost for the full size cars that I prefer to rent. The Boise airport car rental program is certainly one of the best in the country. Very near the baggage location; quick to check-in; and a very short distance to the cars plus easy to get to from the baggage area. The other bonus is when you come back to the airport the gas stations are very accessible and the airport has a very uncomplicated road to drop the car off; get checked out; and again a short easy walk to check back into the airport to continue your flight plans.

Really didn't even want to give this a star. Absolutely worst customer service I've ever had to deal with. Trouble with your car rental? "There's nothing we can do," Stranded without a vehicle? "There's nothing we can do," What are my options? "You have none." This was my conversation with Budget customer service. Will absolutely never use this company again. The only thing I benefited from was getting my full refund to use with another company that are willing to help paying customers. So thank you for letting me know I should go to Enterprise or Avis next time. Really appreciate it.
Last year we took a road trip from Chicago to Utah. The car we got from Budget Midway was dirty in the first place. Asked for a new one, were told no car available due to holidays. Fine. We took off and then only found out later the windshield washer projectors did not came out! By the time we found out, we were already in Iowa. It was snowing so we cannot drive without proper whindshield washer. We had to stayed the night in Iowa for one night and change a vehicle the other day at a nearby Budget location. What a nightmare.

Chicago MIDWAY Budget redeemed all hope I had for the company. Followed by 2 very upsetting experiences at the O'hare location I am very happy. Midway fastbreak was just that FAST! Please tell O'hare to get their act together.
Pick up process was slow took more than 20 minutes to tell me that the car wa ready. Delivery really easy
The agent said I could not decline the insurance even though my personal insurance covers my rental. She said declining was not an option. I ended up paying $120 more than I was expecting. This was at 1:30 am, my kids were tired and I just wanted to get out of there. This was after she let the man before me decline. Why was it ok for him and not me? He didn't show any personal insurance information. Never again! It would be nice if you credit the insurance difference back to my account.

If I could give this location a negative star I would. Zero customer service, rude and completely unprofessional. I prepaid for my rental and upon getting to the counter to pick up my rental, the employee at the counter advise me that she just rented her last vehicle. I contacted customer service and was advise otherwise that they did have vehicles. While I was in the phone with Customer service there was a vehicle that was returned I told the customer service rep and she asked me to let her speak with the counter employee, she said that she couldn’t rent me the vehicle that was just returned because it was involved in an accident. I took pictures if the vehicle and clearly there was no damage, she just didn’t want to rent to me because it was after seven and she had to close., which after I stepped out she literally shut the door on me. The counter employee never apologize, never gave me any other options, nothing, complete rude and disregarded. After about 2 hours on the phone between reservations and customer service, which I will add they were no help, just like the employee at the location, they move my reservation for tomorrow morning at the same location and guarantee me that a vehicle will be available. Only reason I agreed to move my reservation was because I contacted other car rentals and most of the ones in the area were closed and I need a vehicle for the week. But I will NEVER rent from Budget. This location should be close down, they are not up to part with franchise standards. I’ve had some bad customer service experiences but nothing even close at what I’ve experienced at this location. Stay away from this location!!!!
Beware of Alina. I have previously been a loyal and longtime customer of Budget, but never once have I received a "thank you" at this location. In my recent rental, I extended for an additional week of $140.00 per contract, and Alina charged my card at $2000.00 for the week. She has refused to correct her mistake, and it has taken me over 20 hours of calls and letters to try to resolve the issue. I'm still working on it. Meanwhile, I am out $2000 with no apology and a dirty vehicle with an expired tag.
Great customer service from the manager the multiple times I have rented here. Never had any troubles and always get a better car that expected or rented. Never had problems with receiving a dirty/low fuel rental like I have with other companies. Will definitely keep renting from here!

The SUV we rented smelled of perfume, weed, Swisher sweets and cleaning materials. Instead of letting the car air out they just dumped a bunch of chemicals inside. We thought maybe we were being overly sensitive to the smell, so we went ahead and drove it home. Nope, we were right. When I walked back up to the counter and explained the problem the lady could smell it on my jacket.. Just from me driving the car. I had to get my suit dry-cleaned, and it postponed our family vacation. We are still waiting on a refund. I will have to call corporate again and possibly visit the airport again. No one knows what they are doing. Update: After 2 months of attempting to deal with Budget corporate on a refund, I decided to visit this location again and speak to a manager. I spoke to a very nice guy and we'll see tomorrow whether a refund gets issued.
On january 22 Rent a car at this company cost me $ 514 dollars in less than 24 hours that i use the vehicle. When I suppose to pay around $ 260 per day.. terrible price terrible company and terrible customer service they resolve everything by saying that is nothing they can do... no good place to go to... Airplane tickets will be a lot cheaper and faster

I will never rent from this location again. I rented a car for one day to go to North GA I ran into traffic in ATL and was a little over a hour late returning the car, I called to let them know I would be late. Upon arrival I was told I would be charged a whole nother day so I kept the car that day, now instead of $49 they charged me $69 because apparently their is a $10 charge every time you extend a day. I have rented from numerous other locations and this has never happened to me before. I will be using Enterprise from now on. Also the coustomer service sucks they are not informative at all and they don't inspect the car with you when you rent it, they just had you the keys and tell you what spot it's in which by the way their cars are in a big parking lot with other rental places cars.

I've been reading the posts before July,however, this IS NOT the same owners!!!!! I was in today and was greeted with a smile by Randy, he is the NEW owner there. He was very friendly ,nice, and efficient. I had reserved online with a coupon for an upgrade. Randy was on top of it and did not hesitate to give the upgrade. I am not sure what happened before July 1st, but I promise you, this is nothing like the reviews prior to July. I will be renting there from now on. For those that rented before July and wrote the reviews, reconsider going back now that it is under new management.
The rate we were quoted was twice what the Budget website has posted. The gentleman at the counter informed us that it would be lower if we had booked online, but was unable to tell us how much lower or give us the Internet price because he didn't have access to the Internet. I find it hard to believe that a company that does business on the Internet doesn't give access to the employees at the airport rental counter. I'm not sure how they access reservations without Internet access. We offered to book on our smart phones, (because most people have streaming Internet in their pockets in 2018), but he told us it would take 2 hours to upload to his computer. I smelled a rat, so we went to another car rental agency and were immediately given a larger car for half of the price. Seems like Budget didn't really want our business, and with so many competitors they should focus on better service.
When I rented the car I left a credit card, they quickly charged for the days that I was going to have the car, the reservation was made by phone. Budget never explained to me that if the car is delivered before the deadline, I would be refunded the money was not used, but if I passed the deadline, then extra charges would be made. It is a terrible service.
Rented from Budget Chicago Midway airport four times in last 60 days hoping customer service would improve, only one time did it take under 10 minutes....Every other time at least 40 minute wait to get a car rented. AVIS/Budget still one one of the worst rental car companies at Chicago Midway...ALAMO is CRUSHING you in the customer service area!...You should get some pointers from them...Need more and better staff. Especially night crew!
I'm conflicted! In terms of customer service at MDW and vehicle satisfaction, I'd give MDW Budget/Avis a 4.5 star review! However.... * undisclosed and unclear charges on bill * difficult to contact customer service * automated system is not user friendly * outrageous fuel prices if not returned full * location is not easy to get to as a pedestrian. I highly recommend taking the free shuttle from arrivals at the airport (even local peeps) * book only if all other resources are exhausted Overall it was a mediocre experience. I would not use them again.

AVOID THIS AT ALL COST. Absolutely do not rent a car here. Despite initially having the cheapest price out of all the car rentals, we came up with an additional charge of 66 dollars. Their service could NOT have been worst. Apparently, we should've seen the additional costs when we "first signed for the car". That's all the reasons their manager gave for us.
Boise car rental parking is easy to get in and out of, it's a relatively small airport. I prepaid my car rental and the rate was significantly lower than others. Picking up the car was something of a nightmare, it took nearly an hour and about 40 minutes of that was standing outside in 100+ heat. The car was very clean and in excellent condition, I spent a lot of time in it and was comfortable. Budget has one really phenomenal employee in Boise, her extra effort nearly made up for the rocky start.
Everyone that I saw in person or spoke to on the phone was very accommodating, personable, and professional.
Just rented my first car through here for close to a week. I learned in advance you can call several times days or weeks prior to the rental date and check for cheaper rates. The shuttle transport was fast and frequent from the terminal. Fastbreak was awesome! I recommend anyone to do it, makes it super fast and easy. Check-in. Directional signs were easily seen to know where to go. Staff were nice and answered all my questions. The car was better than I expected and super clean. I ended up paying $7 more than expected due to being shy of exact refill for full tank of gas which was fine. The drop off was very quick and easy as well. I had a great experience with budget and would use them again. Just do research, read fine prints, read signs around the property and ask questions to be prepared and there should be no surprises.

The worst experience I ever had renting a car!!!!!!! My reservation was messed up worth the wrong dates and times. Due to their screw up I was charged late fees. Which I was able to get refunded after about a week of calls. Then six weeks later I see on my bank account that I'm being charged $250 for a cleaning charge!!!!! When I dropped off the car, the rental agent and I checked the car inside and out. He gave me a compete check list with every thing marked good. However, 6 weeks later I'm told that was wrong and they are charging me. They said I can not dispute the charges or appeal them. They said my signed checklist is irrelevant. I'm filling small claims charges and taking them to court.
The car was great - paid higher than I would have liked but it was Memorial Day so I understand - and it was very easy to drop off. However, picking up was rough. We waited at least 30-45 minutes in line. It's a holiday weekend with a high volume of rentals, the counter should have been better staffed. I prepaid for the car online to get a lower rate so it shouldn't have been that long of a process. There should be a line for people who prepay and know what car they are getting.
I rented from this location and actually had a good experience. However, the fact that they were only interested in addressing the issue encountered by a Level 5 local guide, is pretty disappointing. As a consumer I would like to think that any customer complaints are valid and worth remedying, not just those from certain individuals.
We have rented from the Boise Airport Budget several times, and have always had a great experience. Jonathan helped us during our most recent experience, and he was fantastic. The woman he helped immediately before us was being rather difficult, and Jonathan offered her several reasonable and extremely helpful soltutions, but she continued to be difficult. He handled himself very calmly and very professionally (I’m not sure I could have!) and when he was done assisting her, he didn’t miss a beat and helped us with a smile on his face. We have also dealt with Eddy and have had excellent experiences with him, too. We will continue to choose Budget for our rental car needs.

Typical car rental
Reserved a Van week ago and came to pick up the van and there was no van. Please be aware of reserving your van here or any budget location. Called customer service and they were just rude and basically said we can’t do anything but give you refund and refund will be provided in 5 business days but we will keep $150 dollars for cancellation. Basically they will not provide me service that they guaranteed but will hold my money for 5 days and keep $150 cancelation fee for no good reason. I feel like I have been robbed. Please stay away from Budget!!!

The easiest, fastest and most pleasant car rental experience to date. Paperwork was ready, keys were ready, car was where it was supposed to be... Returning car was completed in minutes. Fast and easy. Great staff and great job in streamlining the process of renting a car.
Way too expensive. Over $400 for a Mazda 3 for 5 days, really. Car wasn't cleaned inside or out. The car only gha about 34,000 miles on it but the coolant light keeps coming on. Customer service rep was very unpleasant. The only reason I didn't cancel my reservation was because I couldn't find anymore on the spot online but I wish I would've done something else.
What a great experience ! I was skeptical on renting a car from this location because it had some bad reviews but I also read they recently got a new management and I was so glad I went because Randy was very helpful on helping me rent my first car. Will defenitly keep them in mind next time I need to rent a car.
In the past I have had great service from Budget. No hassles. But tonight everything changed. My husband started the rental car, the check engine light immediately turned on and the "oil change" needed light turned on. My husband waited a few minutes (over 5 minutes) to see if the lights would turn off. And it didn't. So, my husband brought it to the attention of the attendant and requested a new car (because our family was embarking on a road trip from Idaho to Cali-He wanted a car that is dependable). The attendant was rude and said "oh, it'll be fine." My husband opened the hood and showed the attendant the oil needed to be filled. He was rude and said "well, we don't think we can get you another car. You'll need to take this one." WHO DOES THAT!! The attendant never offered an apology, never offered a solution. And we only found a replacement because my husband INSISTED that we get another car. I'm very disappointed and plan on sending an email to corporate about this exchange.
I will make sure I deal with John for future rentals. He knows the policies and procedures.
Horrible experience first time renting at Budget in Kendall. I usually rent at Budget Palmetto Bay area. My experience started bad because I came in an hour early for a vehicle pick up I had reserved a month in advance, I had got a call 3 days prior to confirm my rental by Liz. I was told by Damien that vehicle was not at location and he wasn't sure if it would be in by the time I was told. My response to Damien, "Well I need that car by 2" he just gave me a look and tells me, give us your number and we will call you when its ready. I stayed in the parking lot due to many calls and complaints he was already receiving over the phone while we waited for him. Apparently none of the cars people had reserved were ready for pick at the location. That should've been a red flag for anyone. But I was going to leave without my rental. I waited and in the time I was waiting I see him showing cars to people that were renting vehicles too and he spotted us and tells us to come in. Then he made us wait in line again after he finished renting out 2 cars that he supposedly didn't have at the lot. When we finally get helped he doesn't say anything till he finally asked have you ever rented with Budget. And cold response to him yes, I was holding my tongue because I know how budget service is always on point and my experience here was not satisfactory. After all the paperwork I get the keys to the dirtiest car that they had. They didn't even bother to clean a car that was reserved a month in advance. My first and last time to rent at kendall budget center. Manager/owner excuse to the service recieved was because according him they had just acquired the location 3 months prior and to consider that when writing a review.... seriously, that was not a good excuse at all. Customer service should always be a top priority regardless of you just opening a location or not... that's what helps you retain service. Thank you for the experience but I will be doing service elsewhere and FYI, I cleaned the rental so, that the next person could ride on a clean car.

Good rates, good car, very easy to pick up and drop off. The only two downsides: - Very long line at the rental counter (almost was 1 hour) - Hard upsell on extra insurance, GPS and gas. Not cool at all.
NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THEIR PHONE. Budget offers okay rates for rental cars, but the facility at the Columbus GA airport NEVER answers their phone. When they do answer, they are rude. Since they don't answer, I'm rerouted to a call center, which I'm hold for almost ten minutes. ONLY to tell me that they can't answer my simple question, and that I need to call the place where I rented from...I explain that no one is answering their phone, and ask if they can transfer me directly...she tells me no, she has no way of doing things. I guess I will have to drive the 20 minute drive to ask a question that should be answered over the phone.... THANKS FOR CRAPPY CUSTOMER SERVICE! WON'T BE RENTING FROM HERE AGAIN!
Worst car rental experience ever! I had a family emergency and couldn’t get a flight home in time. I decided to drive and made a reservation through my corporate travel department. When I got to the Budget counter, the agent refused to honor my corporate rate and showed ZERO sympathy for the situation. Terrible customer service and a bad attitude. Then Budget charged my an additional $250 for a one-way rental for a 7-hour drive from airport. Very disappointing experience.
I made a last minute reservation within 1.5 hour of pick up time. Very courteous, professional and understanding crew. Will highly recommend to anyone that needs a rental any day over Avis (Ran credit and with a 660 credit score wouldn’t allow me to rent using debit because of 2yr old sears credit card account)on Madison in Oak Park. Also Dollar Rental car, which allowed me to make reservations and to be later told there were no cars available. I would rate 10 stars but system only allows 5. Keep up the good work Budget!!! Can’t remember rep name over the phone that made reservations, but he was very patient with the million and 1 questions I was asking. Thanks we need more people persons out here like him.

I reserved a full size car and what I got was extremely small. Took 40 minutes to rent it. When i got to counter the guy said its all they had. What is the point of reservation then. The vehicle didn't even show mph it was in kilometers
Budget is an excellent car rental company but office located off 137 Ave and Kendall Drive is no the location to go due to lack of customer service but will totally recommmend 117 avenue and 124 st location, excellent customer service.

I rent every week from the Louisville location for business. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the vehicles are kept clean and well maintained. The return is easy and quick, allowing you to check in and get on your way.
Budget is fantastic when you've got a FastBreak account - take the shuttle over, go up to their floor, check in briefly at the counter, and you're off! I've not had a problem here in any of my many flights to Midway.

Budget has been very good to us. They have a great selection of vehicles and wonderful employees. They seem to always add a little extra to our vacations. Reservations are easy and pick up and return work like well oiled machines. The F150 we rented was so good we are in the market to buy one just like it, I hated to give it back.

Budget at the Boise airport upgraded us to a luxury SUV with AWD for no extra charge so we would have safe travels in the snowy mountains of Idaho. Budget roadside assistance was very responsive when the battery died on the last day of the rental. I become a more loyal Budget customer with each rental.
I waited for 40 minutes to get my car, and there was only 1 person in front of me. Then, I go to get the car and it was there. They were still bringing it back from the cleaning.
They were fast and easy. Frequent shuttles bring you here from the main terminal. A rather easy process for rental and by far the best price of you are doing a one way rental.

I started with Budget in 2008. I might have rented from another company once or twice since. As a regular with Budget renting sometimes up to a month, two or more times a year, Budget delivers on price and upgrades. If you stick with Budget, budget will stick with you. #noIwasNOTPaid
The entire rental process from beginning to end was quick and effortless.The automobile I received was clean and fun to drive.
I had a terrible experience here. I rented a minivan several weeks in advance for a family road trip we were going to be taking. My credit card was charged and I received several confirmation emails and even a text the day before reminding me to pick my van up on Saturday morning at 9am. This office opens at 8am. When I arrived a little after 9 the person behind the counter looked at me with a blank expression saying 'you didn't get our call that we don't have a minivan for you?'. My cell number was on the sheet of paper in front of her and I never got a call that morning or the day before. Then she proceeded to tell me to go to the airport because I could get one there. The airport is a half hour away so I told her to call and make sure before I went all the way there with my family. Sure enough the airport was sold out too. They had no other options for me and we were forced to take our car instead and put the mileage on it which is what we were trying to avoid in the first place. They are so unprofessional and unorganized. And the girl working behind the counter needs some training in customer service as well. Never again will I rent from Budget.
All the time I rent cars from Budget. Today took the cake and won't be renting cars from ya'll for a long time. I will be telling my friends and family not to get cars from ya'll either
Communication could be improved and "airport" taxes could be explained/clarified. Would not suggest extending past your contracted date under any circumstances. There was 1 excellent worker present but the majority of staff treat you as if you've done something to bring your character in question. The second star is literally for that 1 representative that tried to rectify the issues

The vehicle I reserved was not available. Instead, I was given another vehicle that turned out not to have enough luggage space. My family and I had to take one of our own vehicles with the rental vehicle. The price doubled from what I was expecting to pay. You are better off taking your own car for trips and save a lot of money.
Pick up was fast and easy (fastbreak member) Staff was pleasant and gave good directions to find car which was located close to baggage claim. Car was clean and was better than expected as a "standard" car. Drop off went just as smooth outside of checkin, making the whole experience very convenient. Would definitely recommend and will use again upon return. Thanks Budget!
Brought it back full and in a hurry to catch a flight. Discovered later had been charged $46 for a tank of gas. Won't be using budget again.
We arrived quite tired from flying all day and were greeted by a very happy, smiling and competent desk personnel. We were on our way quickly to a vehicle that would meet our needs. The individual at the desk asked questions as to our travel plans and made suggestions as to the vehicle we might need, it was perfect for driving through the mountains. At drop off time at 4:30 AM the person who checked the car in had a smile and a good sense of humor. Wonderful experience.
The staff were nice, but I was initially assigned the wrong car.......a much lower downgraded one. It was corrected
Awesome service every time I visit!! But Fastbreak customers need some type of pointing system that will allow free upgrades and other benefits. I rent from Budget every week & not seeing appreciation as a loyal customer.

The process to rent was a fairly easy and smooth process. My reservation was for a convertible mustang (or similar) and when I got there they only had a convertible beetle which I was not riding to South Carolina from Chicago in. They found me a 2017 Camero which was awesome. The woman at return was super friendly. I would definitely rent here again and recommend to my family and friends.
This place is super disorganized ...we were suposed to turn inour car on a sunday ..the person that was suposed to open never showed up ..after hours of haggling with the company we were redirected to another budget rental in palmetto bay where we were treated very professionally...
Reserved a expedition, they produced a substantially shorter SUV, refused to get an Expedition. I came home, called corporate and was told I could trade what I had for an Expedition at the airport. I went there, they were helpful and traded trucks for me.
DONT DO IT. DONT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR BANK ACCT OR CREDIT CARD INFO!!! THEY WILL DRASTICALLY OVER CHARGE YOU AND YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THEY ARE TRICKY. Bad service. Was overcharged on credit card. They snuck some fake insurance on my friends card that paid for the rental. I was listed as an additional driver and when i returned the car, I told the rep the charges were wrong. She basically called me a liar and nothing was done. DONT TRUST THIS LOCATION OR POSSIBLY ANY BUDGET CAR RENTAL WITH YOUR CREDIT OR BANK INFO. THEY WILL OVER CHARGE YOU. WE WERE CHARGED OVER $2000 TO RENT A CAR FOR BARELY 10 DAYS.
Rented a 2019 Jeep for overnight use, which leaked oil all over my driveway. Budget insisted there was nothing they could do about it.
Our experience with Budget Rental Car was wonderful. We picked up and dropped off the car with ease. We received exactly what we were told we would be getting - which doesn't happen very often when renting a car. Thank you for making our business trip a comfortable drive. Rented a car from Budget/Payless a few days ago, and not only was the lady behind the counter downright rude, but I have reason to believe she stole my credit card information and used it fraudulently.
I reserved a full size vehicle for pickup on Thursday and return on Sunday and I was beyond impressed. I walked up to the counter, no line, showed my Fastbreak card to the young lady, she looked up my reservation and sent me immediately to car area where a gentleman confirmed my CC and license then provided me with the parking location of my Chevy Impala. It was the easiest rental experience I have ever had and the price was great, $102.00 total!

I arrived to pick up my rental at 6 AM on a Friday morning at the airport after changing it from 6 PM. was worried there may be a problem after changing the time but they got me in and out promptly. The vehicle was ready and off I went, very pleased with the service will be calling for another rental in August !!!

Be aware, they frequently sell out of regular cars so you will get suck with a van which doesn't even fit in regular parking so you have to pay extra for valet parking. Not good especially when you have booked ahead days in advance!
The service at the Louisville Airport-Budget Rent A Car is good (fast break member). However, they do not answer phone calls, you will be rerouted to the general customer service line. Sometimes the cars aren’t clean as I assume is from the heavy demand at the airport. This review is for the company as a whole. They charge for every and any little thing so your total is like $20 more than the what it really is. Once the lady charged $30 extra bc the fuel was not OVER the full line! Most recent I inquired about a $203 charge to my credit card which I thought was fraudulent. Turns out Budget charged that for a flat tire blow out on the highway while I was traveling! Not only that, the spare (donut) was too small and caused the vehicle to be unsafe so I drove it home and called Budget’s roadside assistance to tow it to the airport return location. This caused me to lose a day I paid to have the rental for. It is absurd that they would charge so much for something that wasn’t preventable on my end! Maybe Budget should check their tires better and also not fault the customer for such things! After being a loyal customer, I am sick of giving my money to Budget and will no longer be renting from them.
I'm a FastBreak member. From the time I approached the counter to the time I was sitting behind the wheel was less than 10 minutes. Easy pickup and return procedure. Prompt, professional and pleasant customer service. The car was clean and exactly as I ordered. There were plenty of shuttles from the rental car area to the airport terminal without having to wait long. Great experience.
Budget has great customer service & quality autos. Very upfront with optional fees. I received a nice jeep at an affordable price for less than 14 days advance booking. And there were no forced upgrade tricks. Budget is the way to go!!!
Yes it's under new management since July with randy and Anthony. I rented the car at 7 but needed it earlier they accommodated me and the service and quality of vehicle was great. From now on, I'm booking my monthly rentals with budget at this location.
Very Expensive, an extra 2 hours an 30 minutes got charged an extra day. Even when I called the day after I picked up the car and told my meeting was scheduled to go over by an hour. The supervisor didn't even try to work with me when I told him I'm willing to pay for half a day. Will never use them again, got the reservation through my flight. Will use enterprise next time never have issues with them.
They made it so easy and convenient for everything and the car was phenomenal and I loved the navigation system great place to rent a car they took good care of us
