Bought a used car from Willis Ford and within less than 20 hours of owning the vehicle the check engine light came on. It was a Sunday so I sent an email and first thing Monday morning Nate called to follow up on the issue. The code read for a ERG valve. They got me in for repair and gave a loaner car for me to use until it was fixed (only a day later). The application and loan approval was easy and quick and service went above and beyond! We will be back when its time to upgrade. Highly recommend.

I recently purchased a 2014 Ford Focus from Willis Ford, after my last car died. I was in desperate need of a dependable car, in order to get to work and drive my children to practices and events. I walked into Willis ford and was greeted by Michael Pulliam, sales person. He found the financing i needed and placed me in a great car, with very low miles, and a remaining warranty. Terrible Service and Rude Manager - Scheduled an appointment ahead of time to have an Oil Change and to diagnose problems causing two warning lights to be lit up on my dashboard. They completed the oil change, yet Nicole Leeuwen told me that they didn't have time to find out why the warning lights were on and that I'd have to come back another time to have them diagnosed and fixed. While Nicole is telling me this, the manager is running around, talking loudly and being rude. Even though I had made an appointment to have oil changed and warning lights rectified, I had to leave still having the warnings lights on and to make matters worse, the warning light for the DEF only gives me 90 miles of driving at normal speeds. I can't make it back there in under 90 miles. I went there to have problems resolved and left there frustrated with problems left unresolved.

Would not perform warranty work on my 2018 Ford because I did not purchase the car from them. My vehicle sat on their lot for 2 weeks untouched. What a blessing; Nate Bowers and Willis Ford of Smyrna!!! There are still dealers and dealerships out there that care and will not try to take you for everything you have. So I found the vehicle in mind that I wanted online and it was 5 minutes from where I live at Willis Ford. I did not contact anyone prior to going to take a look at it. I knew what I wanted to pay and I new what I wanted for my trade. I dressed as casual as I could for the weather probably not looking too promising of purchasing a vehicle. As I arrived I was politely greeted by the receptionist and I saw a couple dealers looking at me and a couple others with clients already. She asked if she could help me and I told her I was looking to purchase a used F150. She said ok just one second. She paged for any salesperson to come to the showroom floor for a customer. A few minutes later Nate Bowers walked in the door from outside and she said this gentleman is still waiting for a salesperson. It looked liked Nate had just finished up with another because he was returning a dealer tag. He took me to his office and we had a great conversation and he went to get the keys to the vehicle I was looking for. Our excellent conversation continued in the truck and it was as if we knew each other for years; just two friends taking a ride. After returning I expressed my interest if the price is right and if I can get what I want for my trade. he haggled a few times with the used car manager on the trade value and finally the business manager came in to talk with me and got within the $250.00 I wanted for my trade; I shook his hand, i thanked Nate and in less than 90 minutes I was riding home with my new used 2013 F150 Lariat. Working with Nate he got me within $250.00 of what I wanted and I knew his manager was not going to budge any further. Nate fought hard to get me as close to what I wanted. I feel as if I made a new friend that day and our relationship will continue beyond the deal but I will definitely be recommending Nate Bowers of Wills Ford, Smyrna DE to anyone looking for a vehicle. My 2015 F-250 developed a massive oil leak and dump 2/3's of its oil in my driveway. The truck also had a coolant leak and a few minor warranty items. The workmanship from the technician was great, but the customer service from the service manager was ridiculously bad. The manager was incapable of answering questions about what had actually caused the leak. Further, when I asked him if I could speak to the technician who had repaired the vehicle, he stated the techs aren't allowed to speak with customers. When the truck was towed to the dealership, I supplied a typed list that included the viscosity of the oil used in the truck (5w40). When I picked up the truck, it was filled with 10w30. When I asked the service manager why they used the lighter weight oil his response was that was what Ford said to use. I tow with the vehicle constantly and the owner's manual disagrees with his assessment. His parting shot to me was to let me know that his dealership policy is to turn away vehicles multiple warranty claims and send customers to their servicing dealership. When I asked what the servicing dealership is he stated the place where I get my oil changed. ( I change my own oil). I'd love to see the Ford warranty fine print that says only certain Ford dealerships honor warranties. I left a message for the owner of the dealership to call me and have never received a call back. If you want good work on your vehicle coupled with terrible and disrespectful treatment from the service manager, Willis Ford is the place to go. Update...the coolant is still leaking... treated horribly and there is still a problem!!!!!!! Update # 2: Still never received a call from Willis Ford of Smyrna. Took the vehicle to Hertrich's Capital in Dover where I was allowed to speak with the diesel technician (Marty). I explained the issue and showed him the leak on the cooler. Problem solved...this is the place to go if you have a diesel truck!! Update # 3: Sent this complaint to corporate Ford and waiting for response.

Not happy with my visit to the service center. I called on Friday to make an appointment and explained two concerns I was having with my F150. The guy on the phone was great but when I showed up Monday morning, they had no record of me. Okay, that happens. The service folks still take my truck and say they'll look into my two concerns I explain again. When they're done, they have no comments on issue 1- pulsating brakes and try to reschedule issue 2- AC leak/water condensation in my cab. They don't have any useful information but think maybe the water is from the outside. No, I don't have water inside when it rains, just on really hot dry days when I run the AC system. It felt like they really were just not listening. I had to ask about issue 1 and got the "brakes look fine" from the agent. Okay, then why do they violently pulse? Also, they did a report card and marked my struts/shocks as needing immediate attention. Why would you not note this to me? They bother me about wiper blades but not apparently terrible shocks? I'll be going somewhere else for sure

Took my car in because of an engine service light. Had to leave the car which was expected for a non-appointment repair. They found a bad sensor, ordered it, which added another day to wait. The part that came in was not correct so they had to wait another day before I could get the car back. They did offer me a car while I was waiting but I declined. They kept me up on what they were doing and explained other items that needed to be addresses. Very professional and curtiouse. They are the only dealer I trust to work on my cars.

My husband and I saw the Ford Ranger at a car show in Smyrna and knew it was exactly what we wanted. We did some online investigation. Then, went to a Ford dealership in Dover. We took the vehicle for a test drive but didn't make the deal. It just didn't feel right to us price wise. The next day we headed to Willis in Smyrna. Nate was the sales associate that assisted us. We test drove another Ranger. Nate was amazing. We purchased the truck we wanted for less than we expected. I waited to write the review to see how service would be after the sale. Today we drove a half hour to Willis to get the truck’s oil changed before leaving on vacation tomorrow. We were informed upon arrival that we mistakenly hit the wrong button to arrange the appointment - “leave”. They made no attempt at all to accommodate our 15 minute oil change. This was my greatest auto purchasing experience ever! I purchased a pre-owned 2011 Hyundai accent in mid april from Willis Ford. He was very down to earth, personable, & patient in assisting me to test drive several vehicles and find the right fit for my needs. Even the credit manager took his time in explaining my loan & warrantee information to me and handled my questions accurately & very professionally. I have used 2 other Ford dealers (Winner and Carman). Carman was great before the Service Agent Chris left--then the service went down hill. Winner was always cheating me out of something or charging for things they claimed they did to my car, but didn't. Willis Ford was recommended by a friend and my Explorer rides like she did when I first purchased her. Not only did I not need new brakes and drum and insisted by Winner, but (like what Carman) Willis told me my brakes were find. I will be using Willis again and I owe those guys a Pizza lunch for the great job they have done to my car.

I originally came in to Willis Ford of Smyrna because my 2012 ford f150 3.5 ecoboost with 68,000 miles was running horrible. I would push the gas and it wouldn’t go anywhere. So they diagnosed it and determined it was the VCT Cam shaft phasers and recommended while they were in there to replace some other parts, which included the timing chain, guides, tensioners, etc. So I agreed to do the work, and the total bill was $2900.00 which ford assisted with $1200.00. I came to pick up the truck and look at the work performed and there was minor mistakes, like a hose left unattached to the valve covers and the charge pipe on the throttle body was not fully seated. The next morning on my way to work I hear this loud pop and the motor starts running rough. So I drove back to willis which Rick Catterton the service manager at first said there was nothing wrong with it and proceeded to rev the engine up off the limiter in the shop, but I insisted he drive it and it was found that the charge pipe that was supposed to be tightened was disconnected. All the while I get to miss 2 hours of work. So I drove the truck and everything seemed fine for a little over 3 weeks, and just over 500 miles. Until on my way home from work while getting up to speed from a stop sign the oil pressure light comes on, indicating low oil pressure. At the next light the engine started knocking like a diesel and would barely run. So I call up willis and ask if they could bring a tow truck, but was told they don’t have one. So I limped the truck over there, and waited to hear back. I dropped the truck off on Wednesday and received a call back on Monday early afternoon. They proceeded to tell me that the engine had spun a bearing , bent a rod, and that I would need a replacement long block costing $8100. So I ask rick if he is going to take responsibility for this, due to the fact that they just did major engine work in the immediate area. Rick was adamant in his decision that he was not in the least bit responsible for this. I asked that maybe it was possible the mech, you know being a human and all, made a mistake or left some dirt,rtv, etc causing the bearings journal to get clogged, etc. Rick still said no. So I asked how this could of happen. He said “I don’t know, It just did”. So you mean to say you don’t know how this happened, but you do know it wasn’t you. They then proceeded to charge me $540 just to look at the damage that was done to the truck. I called ford Corporate and they advised me to go to another authorized ford dealer due to the fact that the service manager would not work with me. I WOULD NOT recommend getting your vehicle serviced here just due to the fact that they don’t stand behind their work, and it could end up costing you thousands. I Ended up getting the entire engine replaced by another ford dealer, and ford corporate paid for almost half the repairs.

Im currently driving the C max from Willis Ford in Smyrna. Overall I think it is a great car to drive. This car is a hybrid model so it has great mileage already. I like that this car is able to recharge it's battery through a process known as regenerative braking. The inside of the car is spacious and has comfortable seating. When driving the car, it is very smooth and the sounds of the engine are nearly nonexistent. The acceleration on the car is also really smooth and can get you up to speed in a matter of seconds. This car has benefits that outweigh the costs in the long run. I definitely recommend going there and taking a look at this car. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I wanted to lease a new vehicle but were really unsure about which vehicle would suit our needs. Enter manager Santosh Viswanathan and salesman Frank Lauro. Santosh runs a very welcoming and courteous staff that made us feel very at ease and not the least bit rushed to make a decision. We went back and forth over the course of a week trying to decide which car was right for us and Frank never pressured us or tried to sell us something we didn't need. He gave us detailed information about the vehicles and we really felt like he wanted us to be in a car that we would love and could afford instead of just something really expensive. Santosh and Frank really care that we are genuinely happy with our purchase and went the extra mile to keep our business. They are two true professionals. We decided on the Fusion Energi Titanium and couldn't be happier.

Excellent service! I went to three dealers 2 in Delaware and the other in Baltimore attempting to make a deal on 2014 mustang GT. I was looking for a particular package on the car. I was drawn in on a ad for the baltimore dealer with a exceptional deal, just to find out it really wasn't. The delaware dealers, one looked for the package I wanted for a week and told me they couldn't get it. The second DE. dealer had the package I was looking for but it was a different color. At this point I figured I would settle and when it came time to make a deal, I was offended at what they offered for my trade. Then I was referred to Frank Lauro @ Willis by a co worker.I gave Frank a call. He was courteous, knowledgeable. In two days Frank found the exact car. The buying experience was quick, and fair. I would highly recommend Frank and Willis ford to anyone looking for a ford.

Service was good until I had to do a warranty recall on the door latches. They disassembled doors and nothing was right. Plug was loose on drivers door and keyless entry didn't work. I took back to them to fix and they said ford doesn't pay for new clips and they would fix it. Door panels are still messed up and the stereo sounds awful when listening to as now everything rattles. With an hour commute to work this really annoys me. I was almost going to have them do $2100+ in service with tires and alignment but I will probably try somewhere else. I was also thinking of buying a new car but that changed my mind too.

It was a long road but we finally got my car up and running as a mustang should! I know it was a tough road guys but just want u to know my appreciation for everyone involved!
