We order a large SUV. The vehicle smelled of weed. Service was so-so. On my returned trip from Enterprise to the airport, the driver had to wait several minutes for the attendant at the booth to raise the gate arm, even though the drive" a good guy" he had to honk the horn several times and even call the office on the radio to get the attendant to open the gate.

Very friendly staff and a large selection of cars. The shuttle diver gave us the wrong information about when the last shuttle would take us back to the cruise terminal, good thing we confirmed once at the location. He also gave us a number for a car service to Yale us back if we missed the last shuttle, but they seemed to be closed when we called. We would have been stranded if we did not flag down a cab on the street. I would suggest they place some numbers in the window or on the grounds so people can call after hours a cab so the do not miss there boat.

I have used Alamo for years with good results. This time I was given a car that had a low front tire (I had to go to a service station and add air) plus the windows were so dirty on the inside I had to clean them when we got to our hotel. In fairness I was given a $40 rebate when I turned the car in, after I complained to the attendant). Other than this the car was fine.

Getting the car was great, Fast , simple and friendly service. Returning the car was not as good. I was charged for gas even though i had just filled the tank. The young lady who, im sure was just trying to get me check out quickly, didn't pay attention to the details (so check your bill). I think i was able to get the charges removed, but i still had the original invoice with the gas charges emailed to me. The morning staff was friendlier than the afternoon staff.

Worst customer service I have experienced. I went in at 10:48pm. To trade in my rental of 3 weeks because it was the second time the check engine light was on. The first time it went away in under an hour and I took it to another enterprise and they told me to keep it and wait for the light to come back for at least 24 hours. Tonight it finally came back on and the transmission wouldn't shift. I show up at this enterprise as it is the only one open at this time and the lady in the front desk acts like she's doing me a favor. I wait patiently behind another lady and wait to be attended but when it comes to my turn everytime someone comes up to the window she stops the conversation with me and gives them her attention, one time is fine but three times is pushing it (I don't know if it's because I'm 21 and I'm not taken seriously). Then she charges me a full tank of gas when I bearly made it to the location to trade the vehicle. She didn't let me move the new car closer to get the stuff from the other car, since I had the car for 3 weeks due to an insurance claim it was plenty. Won't be coming back to this location. Luckily there's plenty car rental places in the airport if I ever where to need one.

Since the change of staff it has been run better. The only issue is when n you rent a car on friday and return after hours on Saturday they bill you for two days instead of one day. The staff when advised of the error they fix it right away.

Who works here? I recognize 9:30pm is a little late for incoming flights and for employees to be working-however, when I got to the counter-there was a sign telling customers to go to the 2nd floor desk. When I arrived there I find several customers in front of me already waiting and no employees working the counter...WHO works here?!

Always short cars even when I make the reservation 2-3 weeks ahead of time, I may get a “free upgrade” but then I’m spending extra money on fuel during my trip, they overcharged me on my last rental without telling me so watch your final bill closely!! - said I was over allotted miles and overcharged me refueling price of $3.23 versus what sign said at desk of $3.00 I called the office and was put on hold repeatedly 14 times for 22 minutes then hung up on. This is the only place in town so what do we do??

I tried this agency 3 times in the last year with mixed success. Once everything worked as expected. Once I had a long wait for a car. Once they had no cars and I had to switch to Herz at the last moment. A friend has double platinum emperor status with them and is treated like royalty.

The service was pretty good. I was able to reserve the car online and pretty much walked up and was handed the key. The car itself is a different story. It was filthy. The seats were stained and there was a little bit of garbage left over from the previous user. Not the worst experience but not the greatest.

They consistently overbook reservations and lie that they will have the car you reserved. They have screwed me more than once. Yes they give you an upgraded vehicle at the lower price but only if one is available. Last lie was they had a cargo van at a location one hour away from where I live. The agent said they called to confirm the cargo van. Got there...no cargo van. Inconvenienced beyond belief.

I had a rental for 3 days and during that time the vehicle had some mechanical issues causing me to be delayed and a huge inconvenience to my weekend plans. Roadside Assist was very helpful & submitted information to enterprise to exchange the vehicle out for a different one. Unfortunately, it was after hours and i had to travel to the enterprise located at KCI Airport from Lawrence. When returning the new vehicle after my experience, the Store Manager Andrew Was very understanding and mindful of my situation; He Made It Right (for my inconveniences) & kept me as a faithful customer!! I will be returning to enterprise in the future for any of my rental car needs. I highly recommend this Enterprise Location they are Fast, Friendly, Courteous, & Welcoming.

I always enjoy my rental experience with Enterprise whether I am traveling for business or pleasure. They always greet me with a smile, verify my name and ask me how my flight was. The selection of vehicles is always great and they are always clean both inside and out. Getting me and my crew in and out, while answering any questions we may have is always appreciated. Whether its give us a recommendation on a place to eat, or what's a good sports bar to watch a game, they always seem to have an answer.

All in all it was just an O.K. experience. Car required an oil change right off the bat, so any chance of good gas mileage went right out the window. And the windshield wipers were horrible, junk. They wouldn't clear or clean the window. So during my "what should have been a 17hour drive home , 15 hours of the drive was rain and I couldn't see the road. My trip home took us 22 hours and I didn't feel safe for one moment. But at least I had a bigger vehicle to travel with.

I am a long time business traveler with many Plus points. This is the first time I was charged a $300 deposit for a rental - ever - in my 40+ years of renting cars. There are other quality rental agencies to choose from that provide excellent customer service which I will use in the future. I suspect that was the local office policy and not company wide.

Got in here just before midnight to rent a car to go back to St. Louis. Great customer service, they got me on the road in less than twenty minutes and in a brand new Camaro SS. I don't have the name of the guy who helped me but the rental sheet said C. Matt and he was really great. Highly recommend them if you need a rental car!

Renting from Enterprise was a terrible experience. The car cost a lot more than estimates and the customer service was terrible. I was charged for satellite radio that never came on. I noticed it wasn't on at the airport ad the enterprise employee told me not to worry it will come on in 15 minutes. Hours later and days later I Tried to call the office three times and no answer. Called the 800 number and they told me to call the office I rented from and there was nothing she could do for me. Extremely frustrating and need less to say I paid for satellite radio I never received.

The lady that picked us up from our house didn't even knock on the door. She just laid on the horn. When we got on the road she drove like a madman and was not very friendly. She told us that we could go to the Enterprise in Hendersonville even though the car is being serviced at Town and Country Ford, so she dropped us off there, and wouldn't even let us get out of the car until she made a U turn in the parking lot. When we got into the place, we were told that we had to go to the Madison place, so we had to get back into the car with the crazy lady. We got to the Madison location and got into our car and it smells like cigarette and is just filthy. There is a Krispy Kreme wrapper in the center console and donut debris filling it as well. There's a stain on the seat and the dashboard is disgusting. Not to mention the car reeks of cigarette. The only thing positive I would have to say about this whole experience is that we were in and out of the Madison location very fast.

First car I rented didn't work properly then the next car just wasn't up to standard I wanted 10 mpg less than original car and no cruise control how do you drive a car across country without cruise control. The only reason I'm giving any stars at all is because the staff was amazing

Reservation was easy. Airport pickup and drop off locations were easily accessible. I got a free upgrade because my reserved category was unavailable. Staff were friendly at both the pickup and dropoff locations. The Infinity I drove was very new and was a pleasure to drive. I think the rental rate was reasonable and especially so considering the free upgrade I got.

Check your own car insurance policy before agreeing to Enterprise's insurance coverage on the rental vehicle! Your own policy might cover you driving the rental car and you might not need the coverage they offer.

I was pleased with my Nov rental experience. They'd didn't have the size car I had made a reservation for so I was upgraded into a larger vehicle. It is noticeable that many rental car companies, to include Enterprise, when in smaller airports, may not have the size reserved. Their first approach is offering you a larger vehicle at a larger price. If you decline you may get that larger vehicle and the same price anyhow due to availability. Sadly, as an Enterprise-Plus member, I went to make another reservation just this week and no cars were available. You quickly lost my business for this visit and I would think there'd be an effort to pull cars from within other offices in the city.

My experience with Enterprise wasn't great- the car malfunctioned, the lady on the emergency hotline told me it would take 5 hours for help to arrive, and ultimately I have to make a claim for a car that malfunctioned on me without it being my fault. I do recognize that I cannot prove that the problem wasn't my fault, and I understand that policies cannot be changed. I do appreciate Jace calling and apologizing for the lack of service- his empathy goes a long way and I appreciate that he reached out. Yvonne was also very kind and I can understand why she gets such great reviews.

As busy as they usually are, everyone at Enterprise still manages to be easy to work with, even after they have dealt with some less than kind people. I have not dealt with any other car rental company except Enterprise in a couple of different towns and see no reason to.

Good value, cars were nice but staff really needs a course in customer relations. Nothing like being given keys to car and told it is out back..ok, which one, well just push the button on the key remote and it will beep and you will know which one. Really? Class act.Took shuttle to pier for cruise, driver told me to get off boat as soon as possible and to meet in a certain spot. So off the ship I go to wait in the hot Florida sun and I waited and waited and waited..finally 2 shuttles show up. Next time I will not rush to stand and wait for shuttle which was a van and very hard to hop into if you are not young. A step stool should have been provided for ease of access.

Two years ago I posted a very negative review of this ERAC location. I wasn't the only one. But, lately it's been getting much better reviews, so I decided to give them another chance. I'm glad I did instead of going down to Des Moines to rent. The ride I requested was on time. When I arrived my car was ready, exactly what I requested, and clean. The rental process was quick. All staff behaved and dressed professionally. So, I'm changing my rating from a 1 to a 5, and I'll probably use them again next time I need a car for a personal trip.

Absolutely the laziest, uninformative, useless group of people I have ever met in my life. They are not there to help you. They make you jump through 100 hoops for one of their cars and when its closing time they don't care you are waiting! They will tell you to come back Monday when they open again. I will NEVER rent from enterprise ever again. Hertz was there for me and was polite, courteous, and made it quick and painless. This Enterprise has a bunch of kids dressed up in nice clothes trying to do an adults job.

We rented a car here during our recent trip home to visit family. Everything was sort of normal at first, friendly service, nice car rented on an excellent weekend deal price, didn't think much about it. Then, at the exact time we were supposed to be returning the rental car, my husband ended up in the emergency room. When the dust settled a bit, I called the Enterprise office and spoke to Assistant Branch Rental Manager Joshua Stein. I asked to extend our rental time and when he heard why he was very kind and solicitous, told me not to worry about the car, just keep in touch and he would handle everything from his end. Two days later, when we were finally able to leave for home, we learned Mr. Stein had kindly extended our excellent weekend deal price. We expressed our gratitude and he replied, "That's the only way we can be helpful in these situations, so we are glad to do it." We very much appreciate and recommend this Enterprise branch and we're happy we opted to get our car in Lawrence instead of picking one up at the airport. Thanks so much for the hometown service!

Called to reserve a call this morning at 7:30 a.m. Spoke to the national hotline and they told me 2 were available. Allowed me to book a car. 20 minutes later, I received a call from the Ames office confirming my rental. 6 hours later I got a call (90 minutes before my pick-up time) stating no vehicles were available. I asked if they could have gotten one in the 6 hours between my reservation, confirmation and when they called me back and they said "no, no cars." I asked what they could do for me (maybe a free rental in future, etc). "I can call you if we get a car, but we wont." Not helpful. Especially since I had a reservation AND then a confirmation from the location itself.

I had my best rental experience with enterprise. It started with reserving the vehicle I wanted online and having it ready for me at the airport. The agent who handled my reservation and showed me my vehicle, went to the extend of putting my hotel address into the GPS which was much appreciated being electronically challenged. Also received a courteous service for the agent who handled the return of the vehicle.

The Spirit of Aloha! I waited too long prior to planning our Christmas vacation to Hawaii and, as a result, all of the airport rental vendors were sold out of vehicles. Fortunately, Enterprise has a site in town just a short cab ride away from the airport. Our check-in and check-our were both smooth and easy transactions. The ease and process to rent was effortless, but I really dislike how Enterprise squeezes more money out of one. For example, I added another driver at the time of rental and was charged an extra $10 per day. I’ll look closer at other car rental companies in the future.

WORST SERVICE EVER EVERY TIME WE GO THERE MARGARET IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE REP ANYONE COULD HIRE. Me and my mom went to the second street location to swap out a vehicle with a expired plate sticker my mom has been renting for 10 months now. Yes 10 MONTHS. the woman who helped us had the worst attitude from the start. We originally rented from another location and she wanted us to pay the whole month before right then and their or she wasnt going to release the vehicle to us. Then when she got on the phone with the the other location we originally rented from she wanted to get bold and say we gave her all the attitude and she had done nothing. She continually rolled her eyes at my mother and had a disgusting look on her face. WORST SERVICE EVER AND NOT ONLY ON THIS DAY.

They were beyond nice. The SUV they reserved for me was roomy enough to handle five people plus our luggage and a walker. I was very impressed with the ease in which I secured the vehicle once we arrived at the airport.

The rent a car was great. The car sales was not so good. They tried to make me buy Gap insurance and an extended warranty. I didn't need either one. Which saved me over$3000 plus whatever interest I would have paid on that over 5 years. I guess this made them angry, so they took 3 months to give me my tags. They told me that I could not get them myself because I had given them POA to get them and they had been paid to get them. The tags kept expiring and they would give me another temporary tag, eventually I was stopped by a police officer, and was given a ticket for an expired tags. He said that they weren't supposed to do that and for me to get my money back from them and get my tags myself. I finally got them to let me go with one of their employee to go get the tag. I still had to pay$12 for the ticket.

It's our first time renting with Alamo, the car super clean and low miles, the guy who's helped us at check in was very nice, the return process at Mco airport was fast & easy, the guy was also very nice, the only issues was the shuttle from the port to their office, we waited almost 30 min, other than that everything was great, will rent with them again in the future.

We received a rental from the airport via a family reservation. When checking in she asked if my friend, who is 24, wanted to be added as a driver and we said no because she was underage. The woman assured us that we would not be charged the underage fee due to it being a fmaily rental so we went on our way. Upon return, we were charged an extra $100 and when we went to the booth to ask about it, the "branch Manager" told me that because it was a family rental he could not waive the fee or provide a discount. He said that we needed to call the customer support number in order for them to take the amount off. The woman on the customer support line said that she could not do it over the phone and that it had to be done in the branch. Mind you, the branch is in ATL and I live in Washington D.C. I was told that someone from the branch would call me in order to help me take it off. A woman called me later that day and told me that there was nothing she could do since they couldn't verify with the woman who checked me in, and that i had left the branch while disputing the charge. (It was 4:45 am and my flight left at 7:00. I didn't have time to wait). Every person that i have spoken to at this branch has been rude, nonchalant, and disregarding of my concerns. I love enterprise, but this is the worst, most unorganized and untrained, branch that i have ever been too. I hope they can retrain their employees on the rules and how to address their customers. I understand it was early, but please don't disregard my issues as though I'm annoying you.

Awful, they treated me badly. The staff was disrespectful because I was renting a BMW, they assume that I was renting the car for my son which was my brother. This is what a staff told me, "he said that they was not stupid they know that I was renting the car for my son." The year prior, It was a breed. I rented a Cadillac with no problem and that is what I shared with them. I bought their insurance on the website but they still made me call my insurance company change my policy to full coverage before renting me the car. After they finally rented me the car downstairs, I went upstairs to get the car with proof of insurance. They guy said he could not read my full coverage information that the staff downstairs had my insurance company to fax to them, he had to call them and speak to someone to hear them say I got insurance before giving me the car. The only reason that I am giving them one star because the app want let me post this if I don't. Yes, I am black. Please learn how to treat African Americans.

After most of the city flooded, the airport was the last place with cars available. Customers were stressed and edgy, but staff remained friendly yet professional and efficient. The phone reservation person was helpful in finding me a deal. Rome is a great manager. The only downside is that this location doesn't offer a pick-up service standard with Enterprise (bc under normal conditions, most of their clients are flying in).

My family and I traveled to New Orleans for a wedding. We rented a car from the airport through Enterprise. We all circled the vehicle and noticed that there was a huge dent/scratch on the front bumper on the car. When we told the agent she said “yes I see that documented right here. No worries we got it down.” Believing her, we continued on our way. When we dropped the car back off the different agent noticed the damage and pocceed to tell us that we would have to pay for the damage because IT WAS NOT PREVIOUSLY document like the other lady had said. We asked to speak with the manager and he was very helpful saying it was bumper damage under the policy so we didn’t have to worry about it. However we are lucky, we would have been charged if it was anything else. WARNING- take pictures of everything and make sure everything is written down! The people in front of us had a “dent in the roof” in which they claim they didn’t put anything on top. They requested the company move to vehicle into different light because there was no dent. AGAIN- cover your butt with them. They are trying to nickel and dime everything out of you they can get.

I arrived at the Memphis airport after flying all night from Nice, France, about 10 p.m. My car would not crank so I hurried to the rental car section to try and rent a car - Memphis is a small airport and closes around midnight. I went counter to counter and everyone said we don't have any cars. I saw the Enterprise sign and remembered that my husband always liked Enterprise. I went in and 3 young men were standing behind the desk - I asked for a car and they said sorry no cars. I went on to say that my car would not crank and I needed a car and I was surprised that all the cars in Memphis were rented out - what was going on in Memphis? They said they did not know. As I was walking out the door, one of the guys said maybe you could get a car online. I said what - I am standing in front of you and you said you don't have any cars, but if I go online I might get a car. He said maybe. So I sat down and used my phone and booked a car. And the guy said I see your reservation - we have a car. The good part of this story is that I got a car when I really needed it, but what a ridiculous system! I am standing in the agency but I have to go online to get a car! Those young men looked to be 21 so I am assuming they were new hires and have no ability to change the system, but someone who has some power needs to update your system.

After returning from our cruise on 3/19, it took over an hour before a shuttle was available to come pick up my family and I from the port. When the shuttle arrived, the shuttle driver was so overwhelmed that the Hertz shuttle driver assisted and also took people over to Alamo. After arriving, it was explained to me that quite a few employees had called off work unexpectedly and that is why it was so chaotic. Although, there were quite a few disgruntled customers due to the wait - I was given an upgraded vehicle and I was pleased. I felt bad for the customers that had reserved a specific vehicle that was not available.

As a person unemployed with a VERY strict budget. My truck was hit by a Farm Bureau client. The rental car was supposed to covered by them 1) a surprise Deposit was demanded . Surprise I didn't have the $ to do it. 2) minus -5 stars to Farm Bureau. I called them explained to them the issues I was having at Enterprise. I reiterated that it was their client at fault for hitting my truck in the parking lot. I am a Hertz Gold member and this Enterprise location was better than Hertz even without an Enterprise membership level. Easily check in, walk down the hall (same level) and a lovely lady met us and took us right to our very clean car, did the walk around, handed us the keys, and politely directed us out. The drop off was very, very busy and still took less than 5 minutes. It seems they are combined with Alamo and another rental agency for drop off but whatever they are doing works really well and really fast. Every employee was personable and professional, and seemed genuinely happy which is a really nice bonus when traveling by air in the US.

I went in here with a reservation, when I got there all that they had left were one truck and minivans. Which was not part of my reservation. I was appalled at how disgusting the vehicle was that they tried to rent to me. dirt everywhere spilled soda dog hair ashes from someone smoking inside the vehicle... Absolutely disgusting... I ended up walking out of there without a vehicle . But yet they charged me $250 and when I tried to call to get the money back I get hung up on . I was given a car with a flat tire and the oil change light was on. The pressure was just a little low when I received the car, but it became obvious when it completely deflated overnight that the tire was bad. I was told I would have to pay for roadside assistance if I could not drive the car to a firestone, even though enterprise was at fault. I contacted a local branch to see if I could have the car exchanged, but they were completely out of vehicles. When the vehicle was returned, because of there error, they did not charge me for gas; However because this was a business trip, it did not compensate for my pains at all, it just made the rental less expensive for my work place. The are also terrible about answering the phone, I must have called at least 5 times

I always use Enterprise. I am sure I always will. You know up front what the cost will be. They don't tell you one thing and then when you return the car tack on surcharges. It is easy; you're in and out. They don't hassle you about this package or that package. You order the car and that's it. My only complaint with the one I use is that they now very rarely have a full tank of gas at pick-up. Not a big deal but if you've got a longer trip it's nice not to have to stop right away to get gas. Otherwise I am totally satisfied with their upfront honesty, service, prices and convenience.

Nothing great about this location. 1) I made a reservation through my enterprise plus account. My wife picked up the car and they cancelled my reservation and gave it to her. I post the opportunity to obtain points from enterprise. 2) we requested a car seat for our child and my wife was struggling with the installation and asked for assistance and the representative said they couldn’t assist due to liability reasons. Then why even offer the car seat option if you don’t have trained / qualified personnel to install the car seat safely. 3) we showed them our military ID for their military rewards discount program and the associate did not apply the discount to our bill even though he said it was not an issue.

As someone who has been renting from this branch almost every week for almost 8 months, every experience I've had with this branch has been 5 stars. What makes up this 5 star rating the most is the stunning customer service I have received from Kiril Chaush and Haley Snow. I've rented from other Enterprise branches in the past and the experience was decent enough, but the first time walking into the Ames branch felt like something tangibly special. I don't know if it's just from life experience or what, but they make the environment and experience of renting from enterprise feel like home. Every bit of trust I have in the Ames branch has been earned. I used to worry about making sure I don't get nickled and dimed or tricked into buying things I don't need, but that's not how Haley and Kiril roll. Instead, they balance your needs and wants and pick out the optimal car. Haley and Kiril express a level of genuineness, sincerity, and hospitality that has taught me how to be better in my human relationships. I could talk to them about anything. How they manage everything is something I personally would reward and I can already think of a few local and airport branches that could stand to learn something from their management expertise. I would really like to see more enterprise branches ran how they run the Ames office. Then I wouldn't been so sad if I moved away from Ames and more people would be able to experience what I and other have here in Ames. I could write a lot of positive specifics from what I experienced over the 8 months, but I'll just sum it all up and say my experience with with the Enterprise branch in Ames has been so positive that I can call the staff there my friends and I essentially don't look anywhere else but with enterprise for rentals. They improved my view of Enterprise and renting as a whole to a point where I'm even thinking about buying my next car via enterprise.

These guys earned every star! My friend and I were in crisis mode when we landed in Fort Lauderdale, 3 hours away from our ship's port. The experience at the airport location was rotten, but that's for their review. The Cape Canaveral folks understood the dilemma and were on standby to whisk us away to our ship. Upon our return, we had a little bit more time but the guys were still great! They even suggested that we pre-pay $12 for only 1/2 tank and no more unlike the guys at Fort Lauderdale who charged us $38 for gas when we came. I'm brand-loyal and its teams like this one that makes me insist to my friends that "we're going with Enterprise!"

The shuttle was at the airport waiting when we arrived, a coincidence I realize, but when you pick up your luggage and drive away in your rental car a mere 15 minutes later...how can you not be satisfied? They are awesome and very respectful; I rode from the airport with another passenger (who I did not know) who had to have been having a bad day or something because he was cussing the driver out for stuff that wasn't even his fault. I tried to dissolve the situation by talking about how beautiful Montana is. The driver was very respectful the whole drive from the airport. When we got to the business the guy didn't stop he kept going on about stuff the business had no control over. They repeatedly apologized many times over to me. I personally don't base my opinions off of what other passengers do since they don't work for the company. The whole operation is top notch and if I ever fly into Helena again i will use them in a heartbeat.

I have one suggestion when returning the car before or after work hours it would be nice if you would indicate what you are suppose to do with the key, this would be helpful to rental car novice like me. I didn't know there was a key box, and there was no one around to ask. Finally I stopped couple and asked them and they told me that there was a key box at the Enterprise counter in the Airport. Had to wait 25 minutes to pick up my vehicle. I’ve rented from Enterprise in Detroit 3 times this last year. The girl at this location made me call to find out my deductible, something I’ve never had to do. When I asked she said “I do this for everyone it’s not you”. I clarified to ask if it’s new to Enterprise as I’ve rented recently and never had to do additional verification. She said she does it because people have stolen vehicles. I noticed there was signage for a $150 charge for “uncrated pets” so I took note even though it wasn’t explained at all to me. The gas was only half full and sand all in the back of the van. When I returned the car a different employee told me she was charging me a detailing fee because there was dog fur in the back. I told her I would have appreciated knowing that keeping the dog in a wire crate would still mean they would charge me the $150. Evidently even if the animal is in a crate, if they shed, you’ll pay $150 for a surly employee to spend 5 minutes vacuuming. She told me the fur wouldn’t be in the back of the car if he was in a crate. He was in a wire crate in between the middle row, a concept she evidently couldn’t grasp because she just stared silent at her computer and had no other input. Honestly would rather drive to a different location in OP or Olathe than deal with this staff again.

Normally enterprise has great service but not this time. 1 - there were no vehicles available so myself and multiple customers waited 15-20 minutes for a car. 2 - while we waited the two girls working carried on a personal conversation that I would deem inappropriate in front of customers. 3 - the gas tank was not full and when I tried calling I received a recording that customer service was closed. 4 - there was not an ice scraper in the vehicle which is necessary in the winter.

I recently rented a car at Bradley International Airport. The service was very efficient. I had a very short wait when picking up the car and when returning it. The car ran well. The only problem I had was that it took me quite a while to find the gas cap release lever when I went to refill the tank. I blame myself for not asking about it when I got the car, but it would have been helpful if the Enterprise agent recognized that this could be a problem and pointed it out when I picked up the car.

The people working were kind and respectful enough. I chose an economy car because I was only going to be at the location for three days. They very insistingly tried to sway me to upgrade saying the vehicle I was getting was their only economy car on location. However, I assured them I was fine with a basic model. I looked over the cars exterior which was pretty simple looking but functional for what I needed it. However, as I would come to find later there was some issues with the car. For one the backup camera was completely useless and in need of repair. The screen was so dark you could barely see anything on it. The city I was in was also a desert so dust and dirt would get on the windshield. When I tried to spray water and wash it away I realized there was no water at all. This was a huge hazard as I was driving on the interstate and the only way to clear off the dust was to stop on the side of the road and wipe it of myself. The drivers mat was also missing but that was only a minor issue. However, the fact that the back up camera was in disrepair and the car lacking windshield wiper fluid were pretty big issues for me as it shows they had not properly inspected the car and gotten it ready for use. Just because its an economy car is no excuse, especially when the price tag for 3 days was quite high.

These guys are great. I have never had any issues with them and they have always gone above and beyond to ensure my experience with them is a good one. I have rented several vehicles from this location and it has always been a pleasure working with them. The vehicles are well taken care of and clean. Depending on the vehicle, the cost is affordable and they don't try to upsell you on every perk\offer they have. I would recommend Enterprise on Broadway.

I have to change the car three times from them. First, they brought the car with the big crack on the side window. But they hide it by lower the side window down and they said they did it to drain the hot air ? I found it after drove out in 3 minutes. I came back to make a change but they said this was the only car they had even the other customer returned the car in front of me !!! I insisted to request my money back then they gave another car which already showed notification to change the engine oil with 0% engine oil life. I have to drive that car change another car in other city. Very bad services Zero star !!!

Pretty professional staff. Prompt service. They pick-up and drop off for free. (Schedule your pick-up in advance so that you don't have a long wait. So etimes, there might be a bit of wait for the drop-off especially if their driver is dropping people off or picking other people up.) I once dropped off a car very close to their Sunday closing hours and they couldn't organise a ride but they credited me the cost of an Uber ride. If you're dropping off a car after hours (which you can because they have a drop box by be sure to check whether you will be charged for an extra day or not), be prepared to take an Uber or get a ride from a friend or family as there is no bus stop within almost 2 miles. Also, there is no space to park your own car. Iowa State folks get the drop-off fees waived for one-way trips to and from Des Moines Airport. If you make a reservation pretty close to your travel date (less than 24-48 hours), call and confirm because I've had bad experiences with other Enterprise locations in the past when they don't inform you but when you show up to pick up the car, they inform you that they don't have any cars available.

The type of vehicle required for the activities I perform throughout the day is a 1/2 ton 4x4 F-150 pickup or comparable replacement. My activities require I am in and out of the vehicle significantly throughout the coarse of my activities. There have been many instances where the local rental agency does not have that type of vehicle available although I provide them with plenty notice time before I require the rental. I will be offered a 3/4 ton (F-250) or similar which is much larger and never equipped with running boards making it very difficult to enter and exit the vehicle. If not for that I would rate the personnel and service 4 stars.

Updating review due to most recent rental experience. Initial review was four months ago in which I was so disgruntled, I simply left a 1-star rating. Despite being a loyal Enterprise plus member since 2012, this particular location never ceases to disappoint. I have yet to have a positive experience at this location. The reserved vehicle class is never available at the reserved time. In my experience, 9 times out of 10 (yes I’ve rented that frequently) vehicles are either being serviced at the time of pick up or there is not even a vehicle on the premises that they can check out. It has been the case on a few occasions in which I’ve been offered a “free” upgrade but of course that means I’m then inconvenienced with a gas-guzzler. I’ve received 10% vouchers which can’t be redeemed online when booking for whatever reason. Complete waste of time in even trying to redeem it. Further on the staff interactions, I’ve never been offered a legitimate reason as to why my rental is not ready for pick up. Not even offered a sincere apology or consolation. Over the years, I've utilized several different locations but this is by far the worst rental experience habitually when it comes to customer service. Four months ago, a customer service representative reached out to me via email and nothing ever came of it. Not interested in corresponding again unless grievances can be rectified.

The .management and her team worked dilegently to get vehicles for everyone. Working pass store hours with a smile making sure we all felt important and appreciated as enterprise customers. At one point I overheard the mgr call another location to get a car delivered to this location. I want to share my latest visit to the Marianna Florida Enterpise Rent-A-Car. If you need to rent a car, ask for Patrick. He is a young man that truley knows how to make your day. He is very good with customers. He is extremely welcoming. His attitude is always polite and happy. He makes you feel like picking Enterprise as your rent a car option really matters. We have been long time customers because of him. When you call to be picked up, he makes sure that if there is a delay, he calls you to let you know. Instead of just waiting around wondering when ( or if) you are ever going to be picked up. He is fast with getting you checked in and on your way, both when you get your car, and when you bring it back. Although it is true that sometimes your wait can be bit long, he takes the time to ask if you want anything while you wait, and he answers any and all questions you may have. As long as this young man works there, we will never go anywhere else to rent a car!

A reservation was made on my behalf for a Nissan Mirage from the 13th to the 14th, unaware of the $628.17 I was being charged, which I believe was stolen from my account, I called and spoke to representative and asked could I extend it to the 16th. She said that would be fine and that she would leave a note with the right department. First, she input the wrong return time and they charged me $527.00 and they put I returned it late...that was a lie. If you choose Enterprise...expect a surprise of hidden fees and being over-charged

The manager on duty on 7/26/2019 around 4pm at the Philadelphia International Airport Enterprise was simply amazing. He saw that I was in distress and he did everything possible to make sure I left with a smile on my face. After a long 24 hour driving trip, he made sure I had something to drink and even brought me a doughnut out after learning I had not eaten all day. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I wish I could remember his name!! He put me in a convertible and told me to put the top down and enjoy my trip home. Kudos to that manager. He has no idea how much he made my day better!! Thank you Enterprise but most importantly, THANK YOU TO THE MANAGER!! ♥️♥️ P.S. I drove 9 hours with that top down and it was simply what I needed after my terrible day!!

I always rent from Enterprise and have no issues. However, this time I was not happy with the choice of the type of car to rent, and I had to keep putting air in the tires daily. Also, the wrench came on and said it needed servicing. This servicing should be checked before the cars are rented. Yes, I probably could have taken it to an Enterprise rental place and got another car, but I didn't have time as I had to take a family member to Chemo treatments and doctor appointments every day. Sometimes more than one appointment in a day. So this would have been an inconvenience for me.

In the past this store has helped us enormously, we have rented at least 12 - 15 times over the last few years. However, as of recenty with the loss of their manager a couple months ago and some new policy changes along with rude and unhelpful staff we have decided that from now on our Car rentals will now come from Hertz. Not only have they been extremely helpful where Enterprise has decided not to, but the staff at Hertz is Fabulous not to mention the prices have been most definitely lower than Enterprise and their vehicles cleaner. We had placed a reservation 6wks before our scheduled depart date, requesting a van to go from El Paso, TX to Puerto Penasco, MX. My family was excited, for our upcoming vacation. The night for pickup, we arrived expecting our van so we could depart the next morning. We were notified at that time that there was no vehicle available. We would have appreciated a call giving us that information, allowing us the opportunity to find another car rental company that could furnish us with a van. We asked the manager if they could help us and maybe call other local locations and/or AZ, since we would be traveling through there. We were told,"no, we're sorry we can't do that." Sorry, didn't help us at all. They didn't seem to care at all about our situation, even though we had made the reservation far in advance. We will no longer use Enterprise or refer any family or friends. As a corporation, you think there customer service would be of a higher quality.

Very good experience! All staff were friendly, competent, efficient and helpful. We were in and out in 10 minutes, and there were at least 10 other customers there. Only small issue was the first car they gave us had an air conditioning problem - and the temps were going up to 90 with tons of humidity, so we knew we had to have the air conditioning - but luckily we realized the problem in the first few minutes, so were able to take it right back. They replaced it quickly and were very apologetic and helpful, so no big deal. Returning the car was equally quick and efficient. Also, no hidden fees or trying to upsell us insurance, etc. Excellent service!

Same great Enterprise service as most locations. I know that you don't get to "pick your car" but I do always start with a standard SUV and then decide whether or not to upgrade/downgrade. I prefer Ford but will settle with a Jeep. Given the choice here between KIA or Hyundai I felt like I had no choice. So, meh on vehicles. There wasn't even a Mustang/Camaro/Challenger to upgrade to!

The pick-up location for the rental car was at the airport (Memphis International) so going through the rental process was smooth and speedy. Staff were very friendly and efficient. My one complaint was that the car did not have any windscreen washer fluid, something that should be part of their pre-rental check. The weather was warm and dry so I didn’t really need it, but had it been wet this really would have a been an issue for me.

This is THE worst place to rent a car. They aren't clean. They will rent you cars with damage. Charge you the wrong amount and it will take weeks to get it straight. You'll wait sometimes up to an hour to be helped. They are severely understaffed and act as if they are doing you favors by renting to you instead of providing customer service. They'll call you after you complain they rented a car to you with damage and argue with you that there wasn't damage or the brakes are fine. Just do yourself a favor and go to Dothan or Tallahasee to rent because you will be over charged and you'll practically need an attorney to get your money back. They charge 250 deposit even with a credit card. You can't call the National Enterprise phone number because this office isn't affiliated with them so you're stuck with no recourse or help from Enterprise itself

I rented a car from the STL airport Enterprise and got a hole in the sidewall of a tire on the way to Rolla. This office didn’t have any extra cars for an exchange but did send me over to a tire shop a few minutes away to get the tire replaced at no cost to me. Was back on my way about 30 minutes later.

This is the third time I have had a car rented for me by my company from Enterprise in PA. The results are always the same. The staff don't care, the cars are filthy and smell like cigarette smoke. The check in at the Pittsburgh airport was like I was causing a real disruption to their otherwise quiet morning. "Is this where I check in the car?" "Yeah, I guess so.: I was so busy during my trip, I didn't have time to exchange the car, a Hyundai Kona (not a bad car except for the filthy windows and driver's seat). In my home state of CA, Enterprise is always my go-to. Their staffers are always pleasant and cheery. Everywhere else I have used Enterprise, HI, TX, CO, FL, WA, no issues. I guess it's a regional thing. I hope they get better.

My initial contact with them was awesome, but then I got a call to go pick up the car and it was dirty and smelled like smoke. I called them first thing the next morning and requested they come pick it up and clean it, which they did, but I felt like I gotta attitude from that point on. I was allowed to turn the car in a little later than scheduled since I lost use of the car for the 2 plus hours they took it to clean it. There was no apology or any attempt of making it better. The car ran perfectly and I like the prepay gas option. This is the only car rental in my town. Not sure if I will rent again.

I am a member plus customer who reserved a car for a few days this past week. When I arrived to the Hartford, CT location I was told the only manager special vehicle were either a Mitsubishi mirage or a caravan. Of course I chose the smaller car since it was only myself riding in the car for the 3 days. When I drove off in the car I noticed how filthy the front was ( floors and seats). When I attempted to place something in the back, the back seats and entire car was covered with dirt. The windows were dirty too. I own my own auto detail business so I know the importance of a clean car. This location should be ashamed to rent Any vehicle that is dirty. You couldn't wear your clean clothes in this car without them getting dirt on them. I mentioned it to the person checking me in. When he asked what could he do for me, I said nothing 2x then on the 3rd ask I said, a free day rental. He refused and offered me $25.00 credit. Not good enough in my book. He saw the filth and should have had to ask!!! Never again will I rent from here when flying into CT!!! Stephanie

my Husband, and I called and reserved the car we wanted, when we got there we showed ID, credit card, and even purchesed their full coverage insurance. upon leaving we get to the gate the guy checked our paperwork and stuff at the gate was about to let us go tgis lady came from the other booth and took our paper from the guy looked at it and said we needed our personal insurance in such a rude way. we had a mustang gt she said if by us having a sports car we are required to have proof of our personal insurance not that we didn't have any we just didnt have it with us because we were dropped off. our thing was they didnt ask for it at the counter or during registration which would of been great because we would of knew to bring it but we purchesed their full coverage so we were pissed almost threw our whole trip off because she was a real witch.

Chose Enterprise the first time upon recommendation of a neighbor. I was not disappointed. I dealt with Hillary in the Madison TN office and I am completely happy with my experience, I was left with only a Ford which I can't stand but the trip was total success and we had plenty of room for baggage and passengers both. pick up and return was smooth and easy and this was simply a completely enjoyable process even though our reason for needing the rental wasn't. 5 stars all around. They worked hard to ensure you are happy and I liked that and the million dollar smiles.

I booked a reservation on April 17th for a car rental on July 15, 16, and 17. Yes, two months in advance. I wanted to make sure they had plenty of time to reserve a car for me. A day before the rental, I got an email reminding me about my reservation. I call in the morning of to confirm my reservation and I'm told they have NO cars. Not a single one. That, and no other enterprise nearby had any cars either, not even an updated version. They kept saying they "might" get one at later times and eventually just called to tell me there was no cars available for me at all. Then, they stopped calling me altogether; throwing away my reservation completely. I got no apology or anything. And I was using this reservation in order to visit family I hadn't seen for years. I only had ONE day to see them because of this setback. I will never ever even attempt to use enterprise again. Terrible customer service and misuse of the term "reservation".

Great Service! Top marks to 'Shelby'! We shopped around a lot before deciding on this as it had some mixed reviews, but as always the thing to bear in mind is People Only Tend To Be Vocal If Things Go Badly; Good Service Is Just Accepted As Standard... Shuttle from Port was good with help loading luggage, friendly driver and good air conditioning. Queues were either non existent or gone by the time I got in (fiance went straight in and I spent 2 minutes collecting luggage from the bus). We had reserved a car for 11am [on a Sunday when multiple cruises are coming in with scores of potential unplanned renters] but got there at 9.30 and were sorted out immediately with a car and our 24 hour reservation adjusted fuss/charge free. I cannot praise our customer assistant Shelby highly enough. He fixed everything above, reccommednded a prepay fuel option that price of which we literally could not beat in either georgia or florida), gave us a free $40 vehicle upgrade, and explained the other options perfectly. Also he was incredibly friendly and personable. I was getting put on as a named driver to try US driving for the first time (my partner is American and I am British) and he made me feel incredibly confident both in myself and in the protections offered by Alamo. I REALLY would recommend this to everyone, but with the caveats that you need to Help Them Help You by RESERVING IN ADVANCE and Help Yourself by getting off the boat EARLY and beating the rush (which would not be Alamo's fault anyway...)

I'm disappointed with enterprise right now. I booked a rental 2 months ago for a 4x4 truck. Being that New Years day is a holiday this was the only enterprise that was available. They nickled and dimed me saying that the quoted price was only for a standard truck. So add a hidden expense of $90 dollars to get a small 4x4 ($15 dollars extra a day) or $180 for a slightly larger truck ($30 dollars more a day). Any one of the people I talked to could have just told me about the hidden price and I would have been OK (I went to the airport twice before our trip to confirm details), it's after you are there and you get hit with a surprise that I don't like. Shady business you have going there.

Booked a mini van from Port Canaveral for three days and returned it to Orlando Airport. Even though the port was very busy with 5 cruise ships in port, a National shuttle was there to pick us up within a few minutes, maybe we just got lucky. A short drive to the main building, once inside it was very organized and within a couple minutes we had our vehicle. Drop off at the airport was fast and easy, we were checked out before we had all our luggage out of the van. In the return garage there was a station to check our luggage for our flight, didn't have to lug our bags through the airport which was great, National is on the airport property so no need for a shuttle. Extremely satisfied with National Car Rental service and vehicles. The only way I would use another company is if National ran out of cars.

I recently rented a car from Enterprise in Lawrence. I rented it for a week. Everything was great. Quick check-in (3 people working), proof of address, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and I was on the road. I dropped off the car after business hours and put keys in drop box. The car was checked in first thing the next morning. No problems whatsoever. I'm sure I'll use Enterprise in Lawrence again. Well, it's been over a year since I wrote the above review of Enterprise in Lawrence KS. I have rented many times from Enterprise and will continue to do so. The staff is professional, friendly, accommodating. They go out of their way to provide a satisfying car rental experience. They are still burning up the rental car market with 5 STARS!

Getting a ride for pick up and drop off is essential when RVing. Our pick up ride had mechanical problems which delayed us almost an hour. The car had a BAD smell blowing from the ventilation system upon starting.

I just witnessed two employees literally racing down Lincoln Way in two different rental cars, one a black lincoln, the other a smaller red four door. They were swerving bumper to bumper and traveling well in excess of the speed limit and in apparent disregard for any one else's well being. And then they both signaled, pulled into your parking lot, and walked in like nothing happened. It took me a minute to realize it was two employees racing 'back to the office', I went in and addressed someone who was the 'assistant manager' about what I observed, I doubt anything will happen, but those two people should not be representing your business. They have a complete disregard for the safety of those around them.

We rented an SUV for a few hours after arriving at Port Canaveral and received a dirty car,and which also smelled of cigarette. Due to the limited time we had the vehicle for, we simply put up with issues. I had also prepaid for gas, but ended up filling it back up to what we left it with. In the past, the prepayment has been removed. I was extremely disappointed with the experience. Staff seemed very rushed when we arrived at the Orlando airport and simply didn't seem to care and moved onto the next person.

if i could give them a o i would. i am a travel agent and i have never ever had the issues i have had with them. my client needs a pick up do to being there for business , they have not answered their phone in 3 days. i have even had enterprise call them directly and they could not get a hold of them. i've had supervisor call from the 1800 number and still could not get them on the phone. this is so unprofessional. then when my client did arrive at their location she noticed hat the phone was ringing and none of the guys even attempted to answer the phone.

If every business was run as well as this Enterprise, the world would be a better place. Enterprise is generally solid no matter which location you visit, but this one is especially good. The staff here are super friendly, helpful and efficient — they made sure I was able to get in and out, and on my way quickly. I reserved an intermediate vehicle and the agent gave me a compact and lied when I asked him if it was an intermediate vehicle. I called customer service and they said the manager would call me which he has not done. I can only assume that the manager encourages his employees to rent compacts at the intermediate prices or chooses to overlook that behavior. This was the second time that this has happened to me. Needless to say I won’t be renting from Enterprise again. This occurred at El Paso airport.

The car was fine. However, staff need additional training. The woman who checked me on called me “Honey,” “Sweetie,” and “My love.” The man who drove the shuttle back to the airport after I dropped the car off drove too fast and recklessly. When I asked him to slow down, he acted like he didn’t know what I meant and ascribed the fact that I was having trouble staying upright in my seat, as he went around corners, to the nature of the road. At the airport he sat in his seat and watched me struggle with my large 35-pound suitcase without offering to help carry it off the bus.

I've used this Enterprise location several times and figured it was time for me to write a review. I've never had trouble renting a car with Enterprise -- the customer service is always top notch and very friendly. The vehicles have always been very clean and in great shape (both inside and out). The service is VERY efficient -- picking up and dropping off the cars have always been very quick and they are prompt with sending you your contract and receipt information. The agents have never tried to force any unneeded add ons to my bill. I've used this location multiple times and it has remained my first choice when I'm renting a car. There are always thriftier options to choose from (and also more expensive options), but I always know what I am going to get when I rent from this company. Definitely recommend!

I was told by my insurance company that Enterprise will go above and beyond for their customers but that is not the case when I had called and was told by the main branch that Baxter, mn would not have a vehicle til 5:30 pm that day. So being that I was at the car shop I had to hang out in town for an hour and a half to pick up a vehicle with my child that has autism and my eldest son. When we arrived at the local office they appeared to be closed and there was a worker at the front desk helping another customer with the doors locked and another worker who had just walked out for the day. She told me they did not get my insurance paperwork and to come back in the am for a rental. I had explained to the lady I had talked to a customer representative twice confirming this time and have waited in town which is not the town I live in for a hour and a half. She said there was nothing they could do as they were closed and walked to her vehicle. At that moment I was furious and called the main branch and explained my frustration which sounded exactly like the person I talked to before and had the same name of Joe but claimed to not be the person that misinformed me the first two times. Accommodating was not at all my experience. I will not be picking a car up from them today or anytime in the future after my conversation with the local office that said they had nothing for me as of 12:30 pm today when my reserve was sent in as of 3:34 pm yesterday. When I explained my frustrations the female customer representative complained about her busy two weeks and that she cannot get her cars returned. As a customer I am not happy at all and will not be paying for a car rental at this company ever again.

an economy car that I reserved was not available and I had to take an SUV as that was the only vehicle with GPS as the gal told me; however, the GPS failed to work and stayed in "loading map" status. I returned to the airport rental office and picked up a Garmin car GPS. After leaving the airport area, this GPS would not allow me to change the foreign language mode it was in to English, so the next day at another rental office, the person figured out the GPS cord was malfunctioning and replaced it. The GPS finally stayed on and he set it to English and I was appreciative that he fixed the problem for me.

My experience with Enterprise car rental was exceptional. Not only did I receive the type of vehicle requested, it was also equipped with Sirius satellite radio and navigation at no additional cost. To top it off, once I returned the vehicle, it was $65 less than originally estimated cost. The staff at the counter and the return kiosk were pleasant and accommodating. I was in an accident and insurance company made arrangements, but the local office told me there is nothing available. I called the national number and there are lots of cars available. I then made a reservation online and had one available, but once the local place called and verified it was for an accident and insurance was paying part of the bill, the car became not available. This is a known issue with this company. My soon to be ex-wife works for an insurance company and this is a common problem with Enterprise. Unless you are paying the full rate with the extras, vehicles are not available. I don't know why insurance companies have agreements with car rental companies that pull this stuff.

Car was dirty, found empty containers in the car asked to be switched in to another car and it took a week, second car was dirty as well, I found a box of bullets in it! I needed a ride home and they acted like it was a problen to do so. Manager lied to me about what their insurance policy covered. Asked for refund and he denied it and blamed the insurance companies for taking longer to fix my car. Interrupted me and wouldn't listen to me when I brought up an issue with their rental. Charged my card anyway without my authorization. Didn't apologize for anything and claimed they did nothing wrong. Lied about what he originally told me about the insurance policy. Said it was my fault the car wasn't available in time cause I made the reservation at the worst time due to them sending cars out for Harvey. Lied about not getting commission or incentive. If they didn't, why couldn't those charges just be waived? It's illegal to claim a product or service covers something and doesn't. Horrible experience and they will take advantage of everyone and lie.

I wish that I could give this rental agency negative stars. I have never before made a reservation, had a confirmation number, got to the counter, everything was all set, and as they were about to hand me keys. told that there were no cars available. Now I am stranded with an early flight 90 miles away and no way to get there. The staff just said I was out of luck and there was nothing they could do. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM!

The previous vehicle that I rented was a Jeep. It was terrible on gas and I complained to Enterprise. I didn't want a truck type experience. In El Paso this time they wanted to give me a low end, poor mileage car and I told the young woman that it was time for me to try another company. She went over to Alamo and picked out a Nissan Maxima. Great car, great experience. Comfortable, 38 miles per gallon with mostly highway driving at 80 miles per hour. I think for most of us, good mileage is important. It is for me.

I scheduled the rental for 9 am on the 21st of June. The vehicle was not ready but only took about 10 to 15 minutes to clean. I hesitated to rent the vehicle here because of negative reviews. Although my experience was pleasant there seems to be a systemic problem here. I spoke with a customer as I left and they were very bitter. I have done business here and Dothan, Al. All in all I would rent here again as Dothan is not convenient considering the drive. Patience is still a virtue.

The experience overall was fine. The car was nice, worked well. Was able to get email confirmations left and right before I flew to the city. But of course, the cost was an interesting ordeal. When I selected the car, the amount (before taxes) was $216. After taxes, fees, personal backseat juggler cost, tire durability by magnifying class cost, and Window Clarity insurance and all else that was added, the price jumped up too $314. Although I expect the cost jump from the advertised price, I called the location (Louis Armstrong Airport Enterprise) to confirm if there were any other costs whatsoever when I come to pick up my car. The representative asked if I had full coverage insurance that ensures rental cars. For if not, they have rental insurance packages I could add on. With me having full coverage through Geico, I did not need any. For that, the rep said "there are no other charges". I asked the rep in that case, out of confirmation, were there any other cost I would need to pay when I pick up the vehicle. And for the second time he stated "There are no other charges." When I arrived at the Enterprise however, they stated there was a mandatory 20% deposit that "I will get back upon the return of the car" with a new whooping total of $376. Over a 50% increase of what was advertised in the beginning. Luckily I had the money, but that should have been informed to me when I called much earlier. It does not matter if that's something "we will get back", it is still a cost I had to pay before I could pick up the car. In fact, that should be indicated in the long list of charges that is displayed when reserving the vehicle. Other than that, everything else was fine.

My rating was based upon my return of the vehicle and the negligence of the female representative that was outside doing returns. The representative allowed a customer to reverse and with that poor decision I could have been seriously hurt or lost my life. Due to neither of them paying attention or even noticed that I was already behind the car crossing. The lack of concern for me almost being ran over was disgusting to say the least! The representative stated the lady wasn’t paying attention however neither was she. The customer service representative (Moses) that took care of me when arriving that evening was awesome. He explained and broke down all the insurance fees to me. Due to me feeling like I was being “robbed” by enterprise insurance. After all the insurance doubled the actual amount of the rental cost. I’ve been to the PHL airport location before and always received top notch service however this time I was very dissatisfied and disappointed. Some of the employees need to be retrained and know the definition of customer service. NO CUSTOMER SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO BACKUP WITHIN THE LOT FOR OTHERS SAFETY!

This is the second time I have had the opportunity to use this location. The employees here are very friendly and professional. I preferred to use a debit card and there was no hassle at all compared to my local enterprise office which hassles me every time I want to use a debit card despite the fact that I am a pretty regular customer! There was also no waiting even though it is a busy airport location and shuttles were very clean and fast with friendly service. Check in and check out were a breeze. There was a gentlemen who did not have an international license and they were doing all they could to assist him, I am not sure of the outcome but they were being extremely patient and sincere in their efforts. Definitely would recommend this location and will use again when traveling to BDL.

We have been long time customers of Enterprise. Our three month rental in HIlo was a fine experience. Chris and the other associates were prompt and efficient. The price was considerably less than the other agencies that we investigated. A friend that also was there for a month went to a different local cut-rate agency and was surprised when she found out she was paying more than we were for a less satisfactory car. We will be back in Hilo soon and will be back at Enterprise.

Price for SUV rental was great but high fees for collision damage waiver. The SUV was clean but required a wheel alignment as it tended to veer towards to right. Otherwise service was fine and SUV was ready for pick-up.

My experience could have been better. I had a reservation to pick up my rental at 7:30 am. Strike one -When I arrived around 7:45 ish my car was not there. It was in route back to the location from getting an oil change. I personally felt that should have already been done prior. Strike two-I was never informed that I could not leave my car there until I returned. Keep in mind I called several times prior for information on what I needed and if there was anything additional that I needed to know prior to me arriving. I've left my car there before in the past and it was never an issue so I don't know when all of this changed. Strike 3- The car I requested was an Altima or similar to that size. All they had was a Versa unless I upgraded. Ok cool no problem there HOWEVER I felt like the rate should have remained the same since it was no fault due to my own. Strike 4- The car was not cleaned good at all. The only reason I'm giving them 3 stars is because of their pleasantness and professionalism . They were all very nice and friendly and I really wanted to give them 5 stars because of that unfortunately the issues I encounter somewhat overshadowed that. My advice is to be more organized so that things like this can be prevented. I waited almost an hour for my rental to arrive which caused my trip to be delayed. Things like that should NEVER happen.

When I called about it they told me they aren't sure what happened. Instead of updating my credit card payment they just decided it would be best for them to update my invoice to the charge. They said that they would pick me up on Saturday but never showed, so I missed out on 12 hours of overtime at work. If they would have told me they couldn't pick me up at 9:30 am when I called I would have been able to get a ride. Monday morning I finally got picked up and that gentlemen was very nice, but when I got to enterprise I just stood there while they did the paper work. I never received an apology! I have worked in the costumer service industry for 16 years and this is not an acceptable practice. If something happens and you can't help a costumer you should call them and let them know what is going on. Instead I waited and and let everyone at work down. Unacceptable!

My wife and I had just gotten off an 11 day Carnival Cruise in Orlando, April 17 , 2014.The ship was changing ports from New Orleans to Cape Canaveral. We had already made reservations with Avis before leaving the week before to rent a car. Once we arrived at Avis by shuttle , the guy told me no way was he going to take a debit card. I do not do debit cards he said. He was the one that had made the reservation to begin with. he basically told us that we were screwed and no one would rent us a car. I had remembered that my friend had told me about Enterprise and how good they were. I gave them a call and told my story and situation to a nice young lady named Karrie Hilts, who said no problem. She sent a driver in a New 2014 Soul Kia to pick us up in 5 minutes. We drove back to the Enterprise office , they took my debit card and wished us nice trip back to Mississippi. When I returned the car, I asked for assistance to look in Enterprise's "lost and found" area, and I got the "we don't have anyone to go look in lost and found" response. Since there was still almost two hours before my plane left, I was assured that I would receive a call or a text message from Enterprise. NO SUCH text or message ever arrived. Had no idea that looking in the "lost and found" department was such a major inconvenience to Enterprise at the El Paso Airport. I also found I left my glasses in the car when I returned it. I've given up on finding those, as well. I will keep that lack of basic response in mind next time I rent a car.

Due to the double hurricane devastation in the US, I was going to have to drive 2 hours to Duluth, Mn, to get the minivan. As I was leaving the office, a minivan drove up and pulled into the first parking space. Sarah exclaimed, "It's yours!" Beth, the manager, was thrilled as well. The story continues... the previous renter left his wallet in an obscure place under one of the seats. Luckily, I had not left Minnesota, and I was able to deliver the wallet to the previous renter. Cannot find fault with the vehicle CONDITION, driveability, mileage, or comfort. However, whomever designed and laid out the internal controls on the Nissan Pathfinder should be forced to drive one for several thousand miles. Tiny buttons on the steering wheel, the in-dash internal display constantly going back to where it was previously instead of where it is set,, radio channel indication does not follow push-button selection, had to reset the mileage calculator three times. And what's with the 8 controls down near your left knee ??? How are you supposed to use them while driving ? Oh, and that push-button to close the rear lift-gate ? Use it but you better have the key in your pocket because it locks the doors when it closes.

This location was able to assist me today with a last minute car rental. They were short staffed today and I was amazed how well the lady working by herself took care of everything. She was professional and polite (even with eleven people waiting). I wish they would invest a little money in this location and provide the employees and the customers a better place. They cannot hold as many cars as a traditional location which hurts business and upsets customers due to not having cars available. The employees however make up for corporate not investing the money in this location with how effective and resourceful they can be at getting you a car at the last minute. Perhaps I was lucky, but I doubt many other locations try as hard.

I arrived to pick up the vehicle and a walk through was not done, when I went to eat later i realized there was a scrape on the front fender tried to get in contact with the location but no one answered so I called the corporate office and they put the information in the notes. When I went to drop off the car I had to fill out a claim report. Just make sure at this location you do a walk through before you take off.

I will never do business with this company again. The young guy at the airport location did not even attempt to resolve my dilemma and had no interest in getting me a vehicle. I had been given a reservation number and pickup time by their 1-800 contact center and when I showed up for pick up, the guy at the Enterprise service counter sent me up to the parking garage to go talk to the supposed “manager” who did absolutely nothing to try and resolve the issue. He just kept saying he could not do anything and was very dismissive. Upper management really needs to take a look at the two young boys servicing this location, they need serious training in general manners, courtesy and consideration for the customer. After I returned the rental car and received a completed rental agreement showing I returned the car full of gas, my credit card was charged 2 weeks later for $11.15 (for gas) and the customer service representative who could barely speak English told me it was a valid charge. Now I have to dispute the charge with the credit card company. I have already wasted over 45 minutes of my time on the phone with 3 different people. The phone number posted for the Philadelphia area is not valid, it takes you to an overseas call center. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Rental experience was great. Car.. not so much. We had some sort of Jaguar SUV that looked really cool, was a great price, but was kind of quirky. We kept hitting our heads on door frame getting in and out, the check engine light never went off and the engine ran kind of rough and noisy. A couple of times I could not shift out of drive into park. But the location, staff help and courtesy, drop-off was great, fast and super easy.

This would've been our 2nd time renting a car from here. We had all the proper documentation for the vehicle rental. They we're horribly understaffed which I understand how that goes. However when the employee who "helped" us got there he was visually not welcoming the slightest bit. Didn't say hi or anything to acknowledge us when the other staff told him we were next to be helped. We gave him our name, he found our reservation and asked for the utility bill which we presented to him. Both of our names were on the bill. But because I had told him we were both on it but the top part where it tells you the usage for comed only said my boyfriends name he automatically wouldn't even look at it. Even though on the bottom it clearly said both of our names. We called comed twice to have them send over one that said our names both. They did. He refused to look at it. My boyfriend was upset and when he walked back outside the employee said he would be canceling the reservation bexabec it was now 15 minutes after the reservation. It was poor customer service and we will dedefinite never be back.

Had rental set up through my company weeks in advance. Show up at the airport location and no one is there 30 minutes after my reservation was due. I call the customer service and they tell me my reservation was canceled... I explain that never happened on my end. Which still doesnt explain why your booth is not open half an hour past opening time. They tell ms to go to enterprise a sister company. I have someone drive me there. They ar e closed on sundays. I call customer service again and mid explaining the issue. They hang up on me. I call back and after a while she tells me there not a corporate office in the airport. To find a different company and book through them. That there is nothing they can do. So now I have to be in a different state by tomorrow morning. My weeks in advance reservation and already paid for is not happening. If given the choice, rent at any other place. This one is useless.

We needed a car to get out of downtown for a day. I set it up via phone the day prior and got picked up early (8:15AM) as I requested. Everybody was polite, paperwork was waiting, car was just what we wanted -- except the gas gauge was just above "Empty". They offered to fill it, but we didn't want to delay any further, so I just dropped several dollars of gas in it myself. Had a great day, returned the car after-hours at the same place, dropped the keys and enjoyed a very pleasant walk (about a mile) back to our hotel. Got an emailed receipt. All-in-all a very good experience except for donating a 1/3 tank of gas.

New manager Chris has been a great upgrade to this franchise... Problem is he will probably be gone soon with a promotion or transfer (don't know this but that is what has happened to the past group of managers over the past 5 years) and this is bad. I have been renting from them for 5 years straight (every month) and have seen people come and go. That is the one downfall with Enterprise you never get to develop much of a relationship with management because they are shipped off so quickly. This may not mean much at an airport location but is very bad in a "local" establishment. The other Chris has been very helpful with my "complicated" rentals. The staff is very friendly and are easy to work with. I am not looking forward to having to deal with a new group of people after Enterprise ships them out.. Overall experience in the past 2 or 3 months has been extremely positive. They lost a star because of their small cramped location they have to check in and out of.. My family and I had a big weekend planned and our Jeep decided it was the perfect time to have computer issues. I had never rented a car before but decided to rent one from Enterprise Salem. They made sure I was well taken care of off the bat. The young man at the front desk explained everything that I would need to know and went over the paperwork with me so I felt comfortable. Terrible customer service. I was quoted 3 different prices - one when the day before I picked up my rental, the day I picked up the rental and then 2 days after I returned the rental. I had to call them to get my refund for over payment and close up the agreement because the girl working was in too big of a hurry to help me when I dropped off the car. Then when I called them they couldn't even find that I had rented a car there. I also confirmed with the person the day before I picked up my rental what I all had to pay and it was completely different the next morning when I went to pick up the car. I would never rent from here again and would not recommend it to anyone. Find a different rental company!

I made a reservation online for a vehicle Friday- Monday, got my confirmation number and figured everything was great. I received a call from a representative from this location confirming my reservation, she requested to know where my DL was issued and I told her Texas. She told me that Enterprise does not rent cars to out of state residents. I told her I was in the military and moved here from Texas but she continued and told me that was their rule. Train your employees, apparently they don’t know what the hell they’re talking about. Here is a snippet from your website. Customers who reside in the United States, U.S. Territories, or Canada must present a valid, unexpired government-issued driver's license which includes a photograph of the customer. Digital licenses are not accepted. The driver's license must be valid for the entire rental period. Members of the United States Armed Forces who are on active duty may present an expired home state license under the following conditions: They also present an Active Military ID, and They are in compliance with their military extension policy of the state which issued the license. These policies vary by state and customers are encouraged to check with the appropriate department of motor vehicles for more information.

Due to the threat of storm I had arranged to rent a standard SUV for a trip from Fargo to Grand Forks. I eventually ended up with a Jeep Wrangler, a vehicle that surpassed my expectations, and made the trip without any slips or scares. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the details behind my using "eventually." Each of the first three locations claimed to have a standard SUV option when I was making my reservation online, however the only actual available vehicles were minivans or cars. The third location put me on the phone with "Dawn". Whoever she is, sh is a saint! She called around and lined up the Jeep at a fourth location, and I was able to make the trip only 2 hours late. The customer service was so helpful, and the Jeep a very dependable ride. Thank you "Dawn"!

Complete bait and switch . I called about a car prior to reserving online , then when I get there 15 mins later via Lyft , since I couldn’t be picked up , from a different local Enterprise location . I’m told they don’t have the car and that I would have to take a truck . Yet the Toyota they said was there was parked out front . So I returned the truck 20 hrs early because I didn’t feel comfortable driving a truck in the mountains with a cracked windshield.

Rather than have my company pay me for every mile I drive on my own car, I use Enterprise to rent a vehicle instead when I have to travel to trade shows or conferences. Your company ends up paying LESS than if you drove your own vehicle, you have an option for unlimited miles, and you don't put the miles on your own personal vehicle. A total WIN-WIN. The team at the Lehigh Street branch are always extremely friendly, go out of their way to accommodate you in every way, and even will pick you up and drop you off at your house. Great service!

By 11:00 AM I finally reached someone and they said they be out in 5 to 10 minutes. 25 minutes later they finally arrive. VERY DISAPPOINTED. This week we rented a vehicle from Enterprise on Savannah Hwy in Charleston, SC. We were quoted $49.99/day plus $17.00/day for insurance.They offered the "convenience" of emailed documents and no paper contract review. As it turns out, they were quite sly and charged over $126 PER DAY! The young lady who quoted us $49.99 seemed genuine. Yesterday we phoned to inquire about the GIGANTIC price difference and were told they would check with a branch manager. Such a surprise...no call back. Warning to anyone looking to rent from Enterprise in Charleston, SC: walk away. They either made a mistake and aren't willing to make things right OR the staff at that facility intentionally lied and know sending contracts through email probably won't be seen until the customer's return home. Way to go Enterprise.

They gave me an almost empty gas tank. A gas station is hard to find in Manhattan. I had to get out of Manhattan to get gas. I ended up in Bronx. I told the manager that they gave me an almost empty gas tank and I told him that it was hard to find a gas station in Manhattan and he agreed. Beware renting from this place when you plan to go to New York City!

Staff is friendly an professional. I have always had good experiences BEFORE my last. I had a reservation for a full sized car and since they didn't have one, they automatically put me in a compact. In the past when they didn't have the full size i requested, they automatically upgraded me to a larger vehicle free of charge. When I questioned the size of the car they gave me I was told that if they gave me a larger vehicle that they would have to charge me more. I'm not sure of the actual policy on those things, but good customer service says that if you cannot give someone the car they reserved, you should give them an upgrade, not a lesser vehicle.

I've rented on and off from this Enterprise location for several months while I'm in town, and they're customer service is always impeccable. It stands far above any other location I've used across the country. Everyone has always been very nice to me, but one representative Jay has been so great everytime I come in. He's handled multiple unique situations that have come up with ease, quick thinking, and made them hassle free which is the keystone of great customer service. I travel the majority of the time and I wish more travel industries would have reps like Jay! :D In addition, the cars are always clean and new. The office is located inside a nice hotel so it's a cool ambiance while you pick up and drop off. It's a little outside of Tacoma, but well worth it due to the great customer service and consistently lower rates! (Rates have always been lower at this location than in Tacoma) It's a scenic drive on the way there to. I'd definitely recommend!

Picked up car in the evening. The next morning, we packed up and got on the road for vacation. Service and brake lights came on, and no speedameter. The phone number on paperwork given with car and all i got was phone tree, and offices were closed. Only people i could get in touch with was roadside service, which advised me to drive to the office i picked car up at. Drove there, had to wait for them to open. They stated they were sorry. Had to wait for another car, and it was the exact same type car i had problems with. That car ended up doing fine. But it put us way behind schedule for our vacation.

I needed a rental and needed a replacement pickup for my wrecked truck. The process of using Enterprise through my insurance company was easy and the employees were friendly and professional. But, the truck was filthy. Not so much the seats/floor but the windows and under the front seat. The inside windshield was so dirty that when I hit some sunshine it appeared that I was in a smokers car with the dirty haze. All windows were like this. Also, under the drivers seat was an empty chewing tobacco canister as well as some other small trash. None of this was mine. I'd use this Enterprise again but only if they clean the vehicle better. Aug. 2017. Again, used Enterprise while my vehicle was in the shop for repairs from a hit and run driver. First vehicle was an F-250 with no step bumper. At 6'5 it was a little difficult for me to get in but my 5'2 wife had no chance of getting in. I traded it back and got a Nissan Frontier. Again, both were filthy. This shop does a horrible job of cleaning the inside of their vehicles. They have people working there cleaning cars but someone may want to start checking the cars more often. The staff here were friendly and helpful but the lack of their ability to put out a clean vehicle is a little off putting.

I had to rent a vehicle from their downtown location to drive back home to Savannah, Ga and return a few days later. The renting experience was pleasant as the gentleman there Sunday morning was very helpful. He asked if I would return it to him when I came back and I said yes. He told me they could give me a ride where I needed to go when I did. I returned on Wednesday around noon and a young lady came out to help me. I told her I would need a ride to a car dealership on Savannah hwy, about 5-6 miles away and she said she could not take me that far and that I would have to return it to the Enterprise location near there and they would help me. She gave me the address and I went there. The young man came out to help me and I told him I needed a ride down the street and he said no problem. Then when I tell him where I needed to go he said he couldn't take me there and that I would need to return it to another location 1 mile down the road! I was extremely unhappy that I had to go to 3 locations to return the vehicle and all I wanted to do was get back home. John at the Rick Hendricks Location was the only one that seemed to try to help. I was very displeased as I would always try to keep the customer happy and not give a run around. I wish they would had just told me where to go in the first place and I wouldn't have had to wait an extra hour to finally return my rental and get my car to go back home.

Called to reserve a Camaro, Challenger, or a Charger the rep said all they had available was a Charger so I reserved it. When I went to pick up my car the lady told me they don’t reserve models just car size and then when I returned the car she tried to accuse me of smoking in the car and only tried to charge me $8 and I didn’t smoke in the car she argued with me and finally said it would be no charge but my account will be notated. All around bad experience.

I have a family member that has gotten into an accident and only has one card and they told her that the card she has isn't good enough even though its a visa card. They are trying to charge her ridiculous prices even though the insurance is covering it and are not willing to work with her what so ever. I've known multiple people who have been in the same situation and never had to pay a dime. They were helped my friend really well but for someone who is on a restricted income and has a family she has to support for and they are trying to screw her over. I would not recommend going to them. They could at least try to give her every detail instead of having her play the run around game and then tell her She's pretty much screwed.

Well first let me say they have the worst service i have ever encountered. They made me wait for four hours outside of the hospital for them to come pick me up. Upon arrival at their facility they showed me many options so i do not understand why i had to wait for so many hours to be picked up. Everyone greets you, the wait times for rental pickup is a maximum of 5 minutes, and you can feel the positive energy vibe at this location from everyone. Andrew the manager is all smiles and top notch etiquette. He makes sure you are taken care of immediately as asks if there is anything else he can do to help. Though I forgot his name, there is a young man there with nicely professional dreads who remembered me from the last rental and knew exactly what vehicle I wanted without me having to ask. We rented a Chevy suburban from enterprise in Gresham. The people were extremely nice when we went to pick it up it had come from another lot and the smell was horrible so we took it home and aired it out for two days before we used it and it didn’t make any difference. I have always rented from Enterprise for as long as I can remember. But two weeks ago, I totaled my car, and it turns out my AAA insurance company has a contract with them. When I went in to pick up the car, they made the process seamless and easy. AAA paid for a standard car, but I was upgraded to a Nissan Pathfinder since all the standards were gone. After my insurance company cut the check for my car, I had to pay out of pocket for the rental, and the manager let me keep the SUV at the discounted rate the insurance company paid! I was like, say what??? I needed more time to shop for a new vehicle, so this worked out great. I ended up finding my car at Bryan Honda in Fayetteville, and asked Enterprise if I could just leave the rental at a location there, so I didn't have to bother with someone trailing me. They said no problem, and the dealer was right down the street from one of their locations which was convenient. So I dropped the car off after hours, and put the keys in the dropbox on a Friday night. On Monday, I wondered why I hadn't had any follow up. I called a Fayetteville location and asked had they checked the car in, and closed they account. No one could find the car. I finally got a very helpful woman at a different location that found the car, apologized for the confusion, and refunded my credit card for the inconvenience!! Really impressed with the customer service at Enterprise. Will continue to use their services in the future.

I rent from this location several days each week. The team is outstanding for a very busy location that can only keep a couple cars on deck. They have great cars, and unbeknownst to many, cars are stored in the basement, making an elevator ride up for each customer. Because of the small basement garage, during a rush of multiple customers, wait times can be a few minutes longer as the cars ride up one at a time - not by fault of the staff. As the midtown Manhattan location with a small garage, reservations are necessary days in advance. As for the staff, the management is excellent. There is an assistant manager that is absolutely superb (initials JK), and the new manager has upheld consistency. I get in before the morning rush and the team is ready, clean cars available at 7am, and I am out the door. The rest of the team is helpful and responsive. The cars are clean. Just remember to fill up outside of NYC!

DO NOT rent from this location the manager was not one bit helpful. Made reservations over the phone and brought in a utility bill and pay stub as required, first the balance on the utility bill was higher than there policy requires so I made payment online right away then I once I showed her the balance was paid up she then said I now needed a second utility bill. At this point it was 1 hr after she told me my original utility bill. Apparently not everyone is on the same page there. I wasted two hours here and still did not get the rental.

Well, first I was told they needed to charge my Debit Card for $250 before my 2 day rental(which only costs $40.00) but I understood because I was taking valuable property off of the lot. They stated they would credit my account $210 upon the cars return. When I dropped it off on a Sunday(they are closed that day) I was told to call and leave a VM so they would know it was only a 2 day rental. I promplty did so upon returning it. I called Monday morning to find out how quickly they would credit my account(24hrs) so on Tuesday i checked my account and had only been credited $75.00 when I should have been credited $210.00. I promptly called in and was assured that I would be credited the balance and it was a clerical error. It took 1 full week and 4 more calls to thier office before any of the employees would credit me the $134 balance. By the end of it, I felt as thought Enterprise was taking advantage of me and trying to steal $134. NOT COOL! The only think I will say is that the girl who finally ended up taking care of the issue was very very nice about and blamed it all on the manager. I will never rent from Enterprise again and will tell everyone I know to stay away. $134 is not something to joke about, it is not alot of money to some but still.

The service staff is great, but they will not give you a car with a full tank of gas even when you specifically ask for it. This leads me to believe that the management has a fuel scam going, as they have no problem charging me 6 bucks a gallon if any fuel is missing. I would recommend that you take a picture of the fuel level before leaving. If you have a destination that you need to get to asap, and don't have time to fill the tank rent from another vendor.

The driver, Alex, was prompt and personable, and called my cell phone rather than have us wait for each other. At the office, John was welcoming as always, quick and efficient. For some reason all of my memories about rental cars from my parents are horror stories, but my experience was so quick and easy. Update: I was contacted by Enterprise Corp. then the regional manager, and things were discussed and clarified. They took care of the extra, unnecessary insurance fees. Will change from 1 start to 3 star for their reaching out and clearing up the matter. ---- Would NOT recommend this Spanish Fork location; high-pressure tactics used to push people into paying for insurance through Enterprise even though it is not needed, I already had 2 layers of coverage... After running my credit card for the rental and getting everything setup, I thought I was good to go. Then they came with me to the car to show me basic functions of the vehicle etc. At that time I was told that my insurance was not enough to cover any damage that might happen to the car. I have comprehensive/full insurance on my personal vehicle as well as high-value coverage through AMEX anytime I rent using my AMEX credit card. However, they said this still wasn't enough and pressured me to purchase theirs on top of the two layers I already had... THEN, if that wasn't enough, they proceeded to tell me that I would be charged a minimum of $10,000 for any damage done to the vehicle even if it was merely a rock chip... I was very displeased with this policy and asked to speak with the manager, Mark. He came out and proceeded to pressure me with the same example of any small damage done would result in a $10,000 minimum out of my pocket regardless of any insurance coverage I already had. I then asked to see that "$10,000 policy" in writing, but they did not have it on hand to show me and stated that it was "part of a lengthy contract that you wouldn't even want to look through anyway". This upset me. I was already running late to pickup my clients who flew in internationally because enterprise neglected my pickup request and picked me up 90 minutes late only after I called to remind them of my pickup... Then the manager said "well, if you can't pay the $10,000 when any damage happens, I can just send you to collections and have them take care of it" At this point I was frustrated, feeling threatened even though I hadn't done anything, and disappointed that these tactics were being used. I ended up paying for the additional insurance just to get on my way, which jumped my $150 rental to $250+, and was very displeased with the methods used to get someone to pay for their unnecessary insurance even though I already had it covered, twice. I have used Avis in Provo several times in the past and had a much better experience every time.

I rent from Enterprise quite often for little get-aways. This last trip started well. I picked the car up, did the walk around with the mentality of "if it fits in the card, the damage is acceptable," and went on my family trip. (the acceptable damage included scratches, door dings, and a couple of little dents - probably from hail) I did use my own insurance as I didn't want to spend as much on the insurance they offer as the rental would cost. We didn't encounter weather except for a bit of rain the night we returned to town. Upon returning the rental, I was told we had hail damage. I asked how that was possible since we only ran into rain in Sioux Falls and they told me that they would have to have Enterprise check out the weather patterns. Since I didn't write down any of the damage (since it "fit" in the little card they give you) nor did I take photos or video of the car, I could not dispute the charges. No one from Enterprise followed up with me about this. I did receive a letter in mail last week asking for my insurance information and I just received an email with the bill with the damages. So, I am now on the hook for $1,000+. I am disappointed and frustrated. Lesson learned - take pictures, write it all down, be willing to dispute on site, and rent less.

Though I'll admit I have a bias and would have preferred to be driving something closer to what I regularly drive, the customer service at the Enterprise on Powell in Gresham was great. The drivers who took me to and from the auto shop at the beginning and end of my rental were prompt and friendly, and the office staff made renting a much easier process than I had expected. I was in and out in a matter of minutes when picking up and dropping off my rental. Hopefully I won't have to rent again any time soon, but if I did I'd feel relieved knowing the staff at Enterprise are so efficient and helpful.

I rented a car here while my car was at Triangle Collision. My pick up was on time and they were very helpful and patient while I had to install car seats. They also were able to give me a ride back right away when I returned the car. The Explorer I rented was very nice, loaded with options. They were able to coordinate the payment easily with my insurer. The car wasn't immaculate inside, but that didn't bother me, it was clean. I did have some trouble reaching them by phone, apparently their main line was down for a while, so you may want to ask them for a backup number when you rent. The ladies that helped me were very nice.

Car was dirty when we picked it up. We reserved to pick up the car at 7. The night before we got a call telling us if we come at 7 they can’t help us, we will need to get there before 7. We mentioned online it allowed us to reserve it for 7 and we cannot come sooner. The man in the phone then said”well we are open 12 hours and we’d like to go home” NOT COOL Then he made up some bs that the safe locks at 7. Why would you allow people to make reservations for 7 if you can’t accommodate them?

This is the third rental from Enterprise. I've had 2 good experiences but this last one, not as much. It's my fault, the vehicle I asked for was way smaller than I anticipated and it was SO uncomfortable. I called Enterprise right away but they didn't have anything bigger to exchange it with and told me to call other Enterprises I'd be passing on my trip and they'd gladly exchange it for me. Well, that would of been great except I called five. 2 didn't answer and 3 didn't have anything to exchange with me. The vehicle itself had some dash light that kept coming on and flashing and the vehicle was still dirty from the last people. IE candy wrappers under the seats and such. BUT, as I said, I've rented 2 other times from Enterprise and will continue to rent with them. I'd rented an I-pass that didn't work and they refunded me the $ and gave me a great discount for my trouble. They are a good company, I just got a bad vehicle. I'll know better next time.

I have had not so good business experiences with various companies in a wide range of industries but this was by far the absolute worst experience I have ever encountered. Enterprise as a whole is not so bad it’s the Branch Manager - Matthew Cook at the Morrisville NC location that should be pulled of his want to be cowboy horse and fired immediately. My auto insurance was covering the rental bill and decided to halt the coverage for their own rental allotment reasons. Before I knew it the store was calling me to inform me of this and when I asked for a little time to look into it the agent from Enterprise stated that if it wasn’t back within a few hours they would report it stolen. When I defended myself towards a criminal threat she explained that her Branch Manager told her to make the threat. Within an hour this cowboy Matt calls with an attitude and I explained I needed 10 minutes and I would call him back he said don’t call me just have the car back today or we report it and hung up just as I started telling him I didn’t appreciate be treated that way. Of course ten minutes later when I called it would ring then go dead, I would call back…ring…go dead. I filed a complaint and the nice lady told me not to worry she will take care of it and tell him to calm down and to enjoy my weekend. I explained I’m a single father of two girls in a town house complex and cannot have tow trucks or police coming to my home due to this guy and I needed the vehicle for work and payment for any amount over the insurance coverage was not a problem. Next thing I know a ring at my door Tuesday morning with a tow truck out front (why a tow truck when there are keys you ask? I have no idea) anyway, there was the cowboy Matt Cook at the end of my driveway with Enterprises black muscle car that he drove up in parked illegally but in a very cool way to truly enforce his cool cowboy image. Enterprise- Please. Please and please fire this guy!! You didn’t get the rental money, wasted money on a tow, lost a embarrass a good customer in front of his kids and neighbors for absolutely no reason…I could go on and on. Fire him!!!

I would put zero stars if I could. I was in a car accident and needed a rental car. My insurance gave me the reservation number and I called to set up appointment. The associates said based on what my insurance provided me I can rent a bike?!?!! Then they said they didn't have a car to fit my needs and had to wait. The following day I called back and they told me to call other Enterprise locations for a car. Eventually I found one at another location. A week later when I went to return the car to this location since it was near my town they wouldn't take the rental saying I had to take it back to the location I got it from. Based on feedback from the other location this is not protocol. I hope others have better luck than me.

Rented a car from here in November and returned it the same condition as it was received to Chelsea, MA (closest location to airport) as directed by Enterprise Salem, MA. To my surprise, two months later, I received an email from a company called the "Damage Recovery Unit" saying there was a pending claim by Enterprise for body damage on the vehicle and that I was responsible for it! Something shady happened after I gave the car back and it looks like shady Enterprise is trying to blame someone else. DO NOT USE ENTERPRISE...SHADY SHADY SHADY...They will rip you off and charge you for anything they can come up with.

Had a dispute about some minor body damage. The lady helping us was accusatory (we were swapping cars because the first one they rented us had an oil leak), saying that we caused the body damage and the oil leak was related to that. After speaking to the gentleman that rented us the car and branch manager we were able to get the situation resolved, but it was very frustrating and stressful. The next car's interior was pretty dirty, but at that point we didn't really care, we just wanted to get on with our day. Be sure to make them pull the car out into the parking lot to inspect the vehicle prior to renting it. It's easy to miss damage when it's backed in against a curb. With all that being said, because of the two gentleman assisting us, I would consider renting from them in the future.

My hisband made a reservation for me and when we got there the girl paris was really rude and abnoxious with me said i don't know who made your reservation but our cars are al booked up and we don't have any at all. Then she said i have to see if you qualify for a rental and gave me restrictions on what i could bring in then said i would need to go to another store in hendersonville but told me last minute and never apologized for not having a car for me
