SERVICE DEPT: We would like to give Toni in the Wilmington Delaware service department ten stars. She is always so kind and helpful and always makes sure we are happy with any services we have done.
The problem was never identified or solved. I was given a resolution that did not address the issue. The car still makes the noise that I brought it in for TWICE now. I had to tell them to open the window to hear a noise the car was making which I thought was common sense but I guess I’m wrong. Very unsatisfied with the results because there aren’t any! Gonna have to fix it myself especially since the car is now out of B2B warranty, go figure.
Not a fan of the dealer. Don't back their products if you aren't happy with them.
Warranty service visit, issue was resolved quickly and car returned. Only disappointment was that we did not receive the customary Cadillac wash and cleaning of the car.

I broke down with my Cadillac Escalade ESV on 12/22/16 & I called my service manager from Pinebelt in Toms River, He reached out to Steve @ Delaware Cadillac, since I was only 15 min from him. We spoke to Steve and he said he wouldn't b able to look @ the truck until the following week, cause he was too, busy. He said I should tow my truck to Pinebelt in Toms River, New Jersey. I was only 15 min away from Delaware Cadillac & almost 3 1/2 hours away from Toms River Cadillac, hence I had my 3 children & 2 puppies in my car & a trailer heading to Florida for the holidays, to be with my sick father in law. I am so disappointed, thank god we towed the car to Ruggeri Cadillac and they took such great care of us. My transmission went on my 2011 & they had our new transmission installed by the next morning @1130 to be exact, they went above and beyond to accommodate us & gave us a 2017 loaner truck & made accommodations at the nearest hotel for my me & my family! Would never recommend anyone to Delaware Cadillac!!!
Had the best experience in purchasing our first brand new car. Our salesman, Scott Bernard, was great. As was the whole staff. They did everything to help us find the best car for us. Highly recommend visiting them if looking for a new car.
Drove 3 hrs round trip. Had a price worked out before I went , was way different once I got there. had to walk away after they tried to force me to finance with them higher interest and payments (still listed to their offer before I left). the whole process from beginning to end was not enjoyable. sales person wasn't much of a sales person. didnt even ask me if I want to purchase a $2000 extended warranty added it and didnt explain it. would not reccomend or go back in the future.

My wife bought my mother in law a Cadillac. Unfortunately my wife and I are not Delaware to help her with the car at the moment and she was having trouble with the key FOB. I called the service department at this Cadillac company and asked if they could send someone over to my mother in law's house to help her out, and I would pay for the service. Not only was the lady I spoke to very rude, but she took my number down and never called me back. Granite, we did not buy the car from them, but was just looking for a little help for my mother in law. All she had to do is say that they wouldnt help, didn't need to be rude and not call me back. Thankfully I will be in Deleware tomorrow, but rest assured, I will drive hours out of my way to another Cadillac just so I dont have to go to this one. Horrible.

I brought a used 2010 Buck Lacrosse from Delaware Cadillac in Summer 2016. Within the past month I had my car service twice for the same issue, and now I'm in need of more service. I was informed by Steve, on the first occasion it was the battery. So I purchased a new battery (cost$250, not including car rental. Less than two weeks later I had to bring my car into the dealer for the same exact problems. This time they held my car for two before telling me I needed a fuse block (cost approximately $300, not including car rental fees). Now, two after receiving my car back from Delaware Cadillac, I have the same issues. This time I video the radio cutting off every time I turn on my high beams. I am on the process of making an appointment to have my car revaluated. This is the weekend of June 10, . 2017. Iam wondering what it will cost me this time for both service and car rental. I am respectfully Team auto Cadillac to fix my car for free and provide me a rental at no cost

I'm really sorry I couldn't give you guy's a better response, Walter is great! everyone in the office is friendly, the sales men are polite and not pushy, their not the issue. My last visit was to install two front tires, I cleaned both sides the night before, I feel that working on something that's clean will inspire a job well done, I get the car back and the wheels and tires are stained with glue, the machine used to attach the tire consistently scratch's my wheels and there's greasy finger prints all over the wheel. Would it have hurt to wipe down the work so that I get it back the way I gave it, this is a Cadillac and should be treated with the same respect the owner shows for it. I'm an expert auto detailer, I've been detailing cars for over twenty years solely as a hobby so I don't expect whomever cleans the cars for you to do as good a job as I can, but the two times I had DelCad clean my car, the first time it wasn't washed at all and the second time the wash was sub par and parked in a muddy puddle on the drivers side, if I weren't as limber as a cat I would've tracked mud in my car. I'm not going to bring this to the attention of Walt, its not his fault, in fact it's only because of Walt I bother to go back to DelCad, for service. Isn't there quality control for service customers? If there isn't anyone inspecting customers cars when the service is complete there should be, this simple act can save you from unnecessary comments like this one. I bring a clean car to DelCad when I need something done, just return my car to me the same way I presented it. I'm a working man, alway's have been and I don't like complaining about other working folk and I wouldn't have to if they were indeed doing there job, professionally. Maybe Mercedes and BMW take the time to give the customer back their vehicle better than when it was given to them, my lease is up in a year, I'm going to start shopping around, customer service is important to me, and good customer service get's my patronage. In all fairness the actual work done is very good, the edges just need to be smoothed out a little.

On Saturday, 7/21/2018 I met Mike Cassidy, an experienced car sales man, who knows how to talk and listen to a person interested in a vehicle. I arrived at 4pm on a Saturday, 1 hour prior to closing and Mike greeted me like he was beginning his day, with energy, a smile and patience. He listened and enjoyed a cup of coffee with me, as I explained what had unfolded with my previous vehicle over the past 48 hours. He genuinely wanted to help and respected the amount of money I could afford and came back with a payment 1/3 less than I anticipated. The entire process way stress free, he made me feel very comfortable with his welcoming personality and sharing stories of the relationships he has formed in his 25+years of selling vehicles. I walked out with less stress then arriving and comfortable knowing, I could afford the payment him and David Stanton were able to get me. I walked out in with keys in hand, in under 2 hours. We agreed to return on Monday, at the end of my day, to have the car detailed and for a courtesy fill of gas. He made the entire process very simple and its how I prefer to do business. Was glad to use a coupon with my service. Was a little saddened to see my air pressure screen up on my dash indicating that all four tires were underinflated when the tires had just been rotated and their pressures should have been set to 35 psi. Had to go back into service and waited another half hour to get it straight after waiting for the original service in the first place..

Serviced my Subaru here. I was happy to get a last minute appointment. The service was great and they washed my car. But it did take them about 50 minutes longer than the 1 hour they estimated for the oil change.

After a bad experience at Faulkner in West Chester I was able to get a vehicle in 2 plus hours. My salesman Mike Cassidy listened. For me it was the most important thing a sales person can do. I have taken my Cadillac to the dealership in Wilmington since the very beginning and I must say I am extremely disappointed. Upon my last visit to get my oil changed and have a regular check up I was told all was fine. My wife came home from work one day and one of our tires was losing air quickly. I thought I picked up a nail or something so I made it to NTB and low and behold all four tires were worn so bad on the inside they were getting ready to give out on us So if I was at the dealership a few months earlier and they supposedly rotated my tires why was I not informed. I'm thinking they never rotated the tires. Which makes me wonder what else they said they did but did not. Anyhow goodbye Deleware Cadillac in Wilmington I think I will take my business elsewhere from now on.

Actually -1 star! I bought a used car from them and while the buying process wasn't too painful (4 hours total), the next 4 months were a nightmare! I was told it would take 6 weeks for my tags to arrive. After waiting 6 weeks, I called and was told we'll look into it. I had to call back daily for the next month and finally, after another temp tag was sent to me, found out the tags were at the DMV office in VA. I live in VA so I immediately went to DMV and completed the process myself. The DMV office said the dealership sent the wrong amount for tax and could not accept the check. I had to pony up some cash to get my tags but was so tired of dealing with the dealer's Title office, I didn't mind! After 4 months, I have my tags! The vehicle has been in the shop more than it should but that is my fault for not being more diligent with the research before buying. Next time, I'll stay in VA for a good deal!
Hated it. If I could give them a 0 star rating I would. They were rude on the phone, I decided to go over there looking for a quote on a vehicle and I was turned down without even being given a quote; I was told to go to a dealer in a different state. Really professional salespeople.

Delaware Cadillac has always been great to me. Ever since I moved to Delaware they have always taken care of me and did everythimg they could to service my car. Recently My car started to have problems and needed a whole new engine. Toni, the service manager did a great job helping me out and explaining everything. Delaware Cadillac did more to help me then the dealership I bought the car from did. I will definitely come back, and I will definitely purchase my next car from Delaware Cadillac since they’ve taken care of me.

After going in for just a oil change and brakes check in only my second visit to De. Cadillac I End up with a 400.00 bill only to find out that mysteriously that my Cue system was not working anymore because they couldn't reset the oil change reset button which they didnt tell me that cost me about 1400.00 dollars minus a 400.00 copay that I should not have been responsible for,I Am perplexed at all of this knowing that I am a Disabled Veteran on fixed income that was not expecting all this and it was not my Fault.

NO HELP RESOLVING MY HEAD LIGHT LETTER I RECEIVED ABOUT REPLACEMENT.
Guy that answers the phone in the Cadillac parts department is so rude. I work in customer service for more than 10 years I know when I am being talked down to. If you don't want to answer questions then don't answer the phone. He gave me extra information I didn't ask for, saying there's no refund of the keys don't work and the Id need to match the title for a key to be made, like I stole the car or something. Still didn't get the answer to my question, I had to let him know I have been there before and had plenty of keys made, I'm not hardly concerned about a refund if the key does that work, I still need a key. That was not my question at all. I will definitely find another Cadillac dealership even if I have to go to philly.

i had such a great experience here at Delaware Cadillac. I purchased a 2016 Chevy Malibu, Kevin Ellis was my sales consultant and Angie Maddox was the customer service rep that helped me they were both so nice and very helpful they made the process seamless from picking out the car online to test driving the car, John Danze was the sales manager and he was great he kept me informed with the process of my application, what he needed to potentially get approved while i worked. I came in to test drive and everything was pretty much done before i got there which was fantastic, so happy i didn't have to spend all day waiting for approval. Jennifer was so friendly and very clear and patient with me when going through the paperwork with me, the entire process was so stress free and easy. The staff here was just so amazing i would definitely recommend this dealership to everyone that lets me know they need a car and i will be back in the future for sure!

Went there to see an advertised Certified Pre-owned car. Was told that it was Pre-Certified and would cost almost $1900 to Certify the vehicle. FALSE ADVERTISING!!
Paid cash for a top quality Lincoln MKZ. PAID CASH. More than six months later we are still waiting for the tags we paid for. Temp Tags expired several times and in one case resulted in a ticket from the State Police because the dealership wouldn't send new temp tags. Most calls to the dealership continues to be met by rudeness by the receptionist and a lack of action by the sales personnel and by the title clerk. Best advice? Go somewhere else to buy your car.

I got a quote from online. After that I received a lot of follow up call from dealer. Finally I decided to go the dealer. I went to Wilmington Cadillac to get price and negotiate for two vehicles with my friend. The service we received was hilarious. The way sales person behave was you are too young to buy a damn Cadillac. It is an American Dream Car you can not afford these cars. We did not even bother to ask more question after that attitude and left dealership and end up buying BMW. Cadillac is a nice car but Wilmington Cadillac has no clue about Sales and interrelations with its customers. No wonder american car industry loosing against European and Japanese Car manufacturers. Good luck being successful because thats what Wilmington Cadillac needs.
As usual, Walter was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Due to the nature of my issue, I had to take my car to the dealership on the same day (afternoon) the problem began without making an appointment. It was not an issue at all. I was even given a ride home via shuttle. The problem was identified and fixed by 9am the next day. Thanks.
I had a 2006 SRX and spoke with Mike about some issues with the car that I had bought from a family friend. He was so helpful and prompt with letting me know what was wrong and what needed to be done. I recently got rid of the car because it was just too expensive to keep up with all the things that needed to be replaced but I was very impressed with Delaware Cadillac and Mike!
Love the used Cadillac CTS i bought there but was promised stuff that they did not deliver on. The car came with only one key fob, i asked about a 2nd one before the deal was sign. The salesman said they would have to order one and could take up to a month. It is now 11 months later and still no fob. No return calls and no reply to my emails. I also pointed out some dings in the paint he said he would have touched up. They are still there and never contacted me about fixing them. Update 2 weeks later. I went down there for service and to pick up the 2nd key that was promised a year ago. They did fix my seat but no key. They said this would be looked into. I would strongly advise not going here if the GM, their salesmen, and their parts department can not figure out how to order a key. They had two weeks notice to order the key that was supposed to be ordered a year ago.

I went in for an oil change and to have my rear cup holder fixed. The oil was changed and the holder was fixed. Another issue was found and was provided great service. However they offered to wash the car before I left but it was still dirty when I got in it. I would have provided 5 stars if it was actually washed like they offered.
This is my second time writing a review that's not being posted smh. I brought a brand new SUV 2019. I was referred gave them the name it's been months they got nothing. Every person I know that has brought a brand new car.. and used car not Cadillac recieved some free car washes. they gave me one ..they needed to wash it since I brought the darn car. Love it but its sad when every darn dealer is giving Customers gift cards, washes and other free items and I get nothing with my luxury vehicle. I would recommend and send others to a Philly location they only car about u til u sign and yes you gonna have to put your own tags on also here...

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I was blown away at how Toni went above and beyond to help me. I bought my CTS used from a Mitsubishi dealership and ended up getting a third party extended warranty. I had a broken bolt due to the fact that my manifold was not functioning correctly. My engine could be heard from a block away whenever I started my car. I took my car in, confident that the warranty would cover the repair since it specifically mentioned it. The claim was initially denied. Toni and the dealership I bought the car from worked together to argue why it should be covered and got it APPROVED! What would have cost me nearly $2,000 (the repair work plus a rental car) ended up costing me $100–my deductible! I am forever grateful to Toni and her team here at Delaware Cadillac. Not only did she take great care of me, but she did it with a smile. She never once made me feel like a burden or like I was bothering her. Never in my 28 years have I experienced such incredible customer service. I won’t ever forget my experience here and I HIGHLY recommend this location if you ever need a repair. I got my car back just in time for my birthday tomorrow. I can’t thank you guys enough!

Quality people servicing and delivering a quality vehicle. I had an accident in March of 2016. I requested Delaware Cadillac's body shop do the work. $9,000 of front end damage. It came back to me perfect. Paint is a perfect match, no clanks or rattles. I am very happy with my choice to buy a Cadillac and to use Delaware Cadillac as my dealership.

Called ahead to confirm the Saab tech was in and able to program a new key fob. Drove an hour and a half to get it programmed just to find out that the tech only works every third Saturday. Wasted my time and fuel. Rude associates on top of it. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

This place is horrible.. First off my car was there to get a diagnostic when I arrived to pick it up car, the service advisor (bobby)told me that the information and my keys was locked in a box and the service advisor (walter) was not coming back till next week.. Ok. Then he tells me that he cant get my keys or the information.until next week and that I had to come back on Wednesday when Walter returned. . So they contacted (walter) and he told them it was no charge and that I could take my car. So now all of the sudden (bobby) finds my paperwork and keys and finally gave me my car..unfortunately it took approximately four hours. Waste of my time. Now it's one thing if I owed them money but I didn't.. They only care about the bottom line and that's $$$.. So if you care about customer satisfaction and service don't take your vehicle to Delaware Cadillac...
Mr. Bill De Ricco contacted me by telephone to recommend a 2016 SRX Cadillac when we had previously reviewed a new XT4 & XT5 (in stock) and found them too expensive for our retirement pocketbook. He very generously offered to send me by e-mail a link to pix of the auto. He also sent a *Comments & Review* in print format--basically a summary of info. My wife and I reviewed the material and asked a few questions by e-mail. Sadly, by the time Bill was able to send a response, we had decided to attempt the difficult (we're both past 80) drive on 1-95 into DE and the exit @ #7 going west on Delaware Ave. to the dealership. It turned out not to be that difficult, though DE drivers seem to be in a terrible hurry. > At the dealer's, Mr. Kevin Ellis immediately took us to his office. He discovered our interest, and the reason we were looking for our 4th Cadillac (I no longer bend easily at the knees and hips). After my wife had enjoyed some "decaf," he offered to show us the SRX Bill wrote was "in stock." > My wife was much impressed with the presentable appearance of the interior and the fact that the car was a *Tri-coat White* (It would match her VOLT.) I was impressed that she could easily get into the driver's seat, the *shotgun passenger's seat* and with Mr. Ellis in that spot could comfortably sit behind him. As I had the driver's seat all the way back, she did not try to fit into the seat behind me. > Kevin did a good job of showing the features of the car, and we gave him $1000 to "hold it for us," promising to come back to complete the purchase. > Today, 8MCH19, arriving a little after 10 A.M., Kevin walked us through all the preliminary review of registration, insurance, warranty, and title steps, and introduced us to David, who dealt with the financial portion. My concern to get a "heritage medallion" with the #4 was discovered next to impossible as Cadillac no longer makes such badges for the front grill of its vehicles. (That was a mistake from our perspective.) We drove away with a newly washed vehicle with a full gas tank in time to return to Maryland, missing the snow which began as we arrived in our driveway. > Altogether, it was a pleasant and rewarding experience with a very professional staff. We give the dealership high marks on courteous, pleasant workers and their effort to make sure we understood every question's full and well-explained answer. I even discovered where the battery's *hot* spots are in case our SRX ever needs a jump start in a snowstorm!
