The car rattled as it drove and reeked of cigarette smoke (making the no smoking stickers all over the car very humorous). The smell made me so nauseous I returned the car two days into a four day reservation. I was next informed that it must come back with a FULL tank of gas or be charged 8 dollars a gallon. Then I was informed I would be charged for the FULL FOUR DAYS reservation saying due to the terms and conditions, I must pay for everything even if I was "unsatisfied" with the foul stench of the "non-smoking" car I reserved. This is literally the worst car rental company I have ever used in my life. I will not tell you who to rent from. I do not want you to think I am trying to promote a different company. All I can say is CHOOSE ANY COMPANY BUT THIS ONE. They are truly horrible.
I have been your customer for years, but the last time i rent a car it was not a good experience. Car was not in good condition to travel, so I was concern of my family safety. When I call the agent was not to pleasant and he suggested me to take the care to the dealer to get it fix. Really, that's what the customer is supposed to do, or is the dealer responsibility to keep the car in absolutely good condition..

Great place for car rentals! Very competitive pricing. My only criticism would be the young lady Krista is not very customer service oriented. Rich the owner/manager however has been awesome and very accommodating. We will be renting there again.
I normally go to hertz but after a bad experience a friend of mine suggested I got to sixt. I was very unsure at first but once I arrived I was greeted by Monique. She was awesome; she was sweetest and very informative. She answered all my questions clearly and promptly she made me feel very comfortable. As a person who rents a car at least twice a month I found my spot and person. To anyone reading this I suggest you go and see Monique I promise you won't regret it.
I rented a rave 4 at sixth in Springfield. I had messed up my reservation online. When i came in the receptionist Monique was very polite and professional she help me straighten out everything. When i seen what i was driving i was very pleased. the Rave4 was very clean inside and out. Monique made sure the paper was explained. i was very happy with my rental. i will be telling my co workers to see Monique at sixth.

I would like to add my experience of renting a car from Sixt location the branch in Hartford, CT, on November 25th until Novemeber 30, 2015 going to ATL. for a family Thanksgiving get together. The vehicle was nice brand new van that seat 7, The ride was nice and comfortable, but here is the bad part on our way back to CT we went through a toll that has no attendance at all we had no choice but to go through it , we just thought we were going to receive the ticket in the mail but no 2 month later i got billed for $49.97, for the ticket and there fee they charge for getting the ticket on a rental car. mind you they know that this toll booth is there with nobody ever being there for some time now. These people still had my credit card on file where as after I returned the vehicle with a full tank of gas as it was given to me and was refunded mydeposit money of $250.00 you should no longer had access to my card. So people please take note that if you are going to rent a car from here and travel through New York just remember that this is jsut what i experience maybe for you it will be different. Signed an upset customer who would probably not rent from here again. I would advise you to read the contract throughly and ask questions. Thank you
There's one oung lady in particular there that clearly loathes her job. She's consistently unpleasant and seems to enjoy making the check in process a lot more intense than it should be. #neversmiles #controlissueb #restingannoyedface

I booked online and the pick up was fast and easy!
I rented a car from Sixt for a recent road trip with my elderly aunt and two young daughters. Upon returning the car, they charged me a $100 smoking fee without my knowledge. I DON'T SMOKE and I had my children in the car with me the entire time. I first called the office and then went in store to speak with the manager. The manager, Eli Black refused to refund my money and said he had to go by whatever Jessica had stated on the report, something along the lines of "The car smelled heavily of smoke and there were ashes all over the middle console". I asked for evidence of this, to see a copy of the report and he wouldn't show me. I also questioned why their return policy isn't as stringent as their renting out policy, meaning when I picked up the vehicle we did a thorough "walk around" and I had to sign a form to confirm any issues with the car. However when I returned the car, they just told me to drop the keys and I was all set. They said they would send an email with a copy of the report yet I never received one. I happened to call myself and ask about my $200 deposit and that's when I was informed about the $100 smoking fee. The branch manager was in no way helpful so I had to call customer service to file a formal complaint. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB.

Kicking myself for renting here again. After being told that there were no midsized cars available and that I would have to rent something bigger and more expensive, I stood in awe- as the customer next to me asked for a mid size- and was provided one, no problem. I brought it to the manager's (Conner) attention, and was simply told, "oh, that shouldn't have happened." I was offered no apology, no discount, no explanation. Because of convenience (certainly not customer service) I went there again. Unfortunately, Sixt defines 'unlimited' differently than the rest of us English speakers. Next time, I'll know better to go some where else.

I wish I could give them zero stars currently stuck stranded with my mother and two children 15 hours away from home with a defective rental(bad transmission) been outside 7 hours with my children in the heat after almost being killed when the car came to a complete stop in the fast lane on the highway.. upon confirmation that it was not drivable from Chevy dealership the manager still refuses to help and after paying 700 dollars for two days is telling me to go find another rental.. absolutely going to the bbb!

Sixt was wonderful! When my car was stolen I looked to Sixt for a week-long rental until I could get a new car. We talked to them several times on the phone and in person, and everyone we talked to was amazing! They were very friendly and helpful getting information for us about their policies. It was very difficult for us to find a place that we could rent from (being under 25 and needing to use a debit card) but Sixt allowed us to rent a car and we got our entire deposit back. They provided an absolutely awesome experience and I would recommend them above any other agency!
Concealed the fact that the rental only included 500 km and refuses to respond to emails or pick up the phone to allow us to cancel or change the reservation. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. They will defraud you.
Make sure to have enough to cover an entire weeks rental. This is very expensive.

I had the best experience ever renting a vehicle from here. It was fast, easy, and I didn't have to reserve a week ahead of time. Their customer service was exemplary. For my needs, their cargo van rental was less than all of the moving truck rental companies. I will definitely rent from them again should the need arise.

I just picked up a rental here today and worked specifically with Monique. I had to leave multiple times to figure out the deposit (as I'm in between jobs at the moment- still a little embarrassing) but she was as patient and thoughtful as could be. I wasn't having the best day and being taken care of by someone so understanding and empathetic made it significantly easier. The mechanic who picked me up, Josh (who was filling in), was phenomenal as well. Thank you again!!

Honestly, they have the beat deals for renting in the area, unless you have a code that makes the other places (ex.Avis, Hertz) cheaper. Would give this particular location 4 stars, if they had better vehicles (Rav 4s and Nissan Altimas galore!)

Every time I need to rent a car for business I use Sixt. Monique is very friendly and always has a smile on. The rates and cars are very reasonable and the owner is always asking about my experience. Won't go anyplace else.
