I had to take the Road Bear RV to the shop 3 times. The RV had mechanical maintenance issues. The batteries needed replaced, the water heater needed repair 2x, it had ants, the bed and dinette seats were crushed from wear. The unit was very clean besides the ants. They have a number to call if you have an emergency but after their limited hours you are on your own. When you do reach them it is only for trouble shooting the unit and they direct you to a service shop for repair. They were able to help me over the phone to repair the broken wire that cut power to the entire back end and were nice and efficient about arranging the repairs. Road Bear has ZERO customer service! If you need anything besides technical assistance then don't even bother to call them. Management is not interested or do not care if you are happy with your rental. They had ample opportunities to take action to make the situation right but chose to point out their written conditions. I was a returning customer and will not rent from Road Bear again.

(Translated by Google) Not our first longer WoMo trip, but the first with this provider. External impression of the WoMo is good, in our model, the space and the volumes of the various tanks were good, as well as the kitchen equipment and the fridge / freezer. Heating works very well, air conditioning good. Which was very disturbing: every single door in the vehicle, except for the car doors, were terribly stiff. To open the front door only with a shoulder cuff from the inside, from the outside you had to tear it, as if it were about life and death. Close was also very difficult and really only by slapping really good. The cabinet doors are secured with magnetic locks. Great. However, the wardrobes were opened only with powerful tearing or prying open with kitchen utensils. The one or other door handle, which were fastened with clearly too short screws, did not withstand this stress and fell off several times ... There are staple pins and screws all over. The mattress in the alcove is unusable for an adult mMn. Too thin and hard. The towels lint. They FUSSEL so strong that you have to stick after drying blue lint all over the body. And they absorb practically nothing. But the WHOLE WoMo is full of blue lint! We washed the towels several times during our multi-week trip. But that did not improve anything. The windows do not close !!!! The locking mechanism is a joke! My 5-year-old daughter was able to postpone individual windows without them having been unlocked at all !!!! That's really bad. Due to this fact, the windows rattle constantly while driving. And shake up in part gap-wide. Although they are actually locked ... The roof hatches can not be darkened, the windows only a little bit (at least with pleats, which is very practical and looked visually appealing). With the brightness that may seem trivial to some, but it was very disturbing for us (children ......). Conclusion: I would no longer choose Road Bear. Of course not everything was bad. COMPLEMENT: We have now given back our WoMo. Complaint management in Denver on-site is under all cannon. The negative impressions here in the reviews, I can not confirm as credible and certainly not exaggerated.

Great people work here. Everyone seems to work very hard and be very attentive.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. I use their online website to request the RV at the Las Vegas Terminal, receive an email confirmation that the RV can be picked up at the Las Vegas Terminal. When we arrived, it turns out there is a shuttle that only operates for 30 mins a day. This is absolutely absurd, anyone arriving after 1 PM are stranded and stuck paying for a $20+ taxi/Uber out to the location, then driving the 30 mins back to town! Highly recommend using someone else! Customer service is not in their best interest!

Sooo These people are in the business of helping people start their vacations. What?! I am sitting in the waiting area during their peak busy time of day. This place is a buzz! But wait... nobody is attending to the customer?? In order for them to make the most money. They take in the vehicles in the morning then release them same afternoon. So as we wait to start our vacations, they are finishing lunch????? I am going to receive the truck no sooner then 1 pm. Over half the way through their work day. We have a 10 hour drive on a 3 day vacation We have 2 children under 4 traveling And one adult with stage 4 cancer We will start our vacation after the middle of your workday today. Thanks guys Hope you had a good lunch! A assure you these business practices are unsustainable. All you need to do is put yourself in the shoes of your customer to realize how bad this feels.

Rented an RV for 12 days. On day 9 we had a double blow out on the highway in the Utah desert and the service was insanely bad. It was almost 5 pm on a Tuesday and Roadbearrv left us there for 4 hours basically telling us we had to find our own ride and that the RV would be fixed and at a Ford dealership first thing the next day. That was almost 16 hours ago and we've received zero information from anyone. I called the office we rented it from and they didn't even know anything was wrong. We're most likely going to have to rent a car to get back home at this point. Terrible service.

Great RV, nice and clean. A little disappointed when returning the RV that they tried to charge a cleaning fee and blame us for a scratch we didn't do but it was all cleared in the end. Would use again.

The camper we rented for more than 3 weeks (25 feet) was really good and well equiped. We had a great vacation! Unfortunallity, we had big issue when we deliverd the RV. We were 21 minutes late. (11.21). The employee at the desk helped us and checked if everything was okay. All was fine and he gave us a compliment about the cleaing of the RV. However when finalizing our payment we learned that we were going to be charged a fine of 100 dollars. This because we were 21 minutes too late!!!! We asked the employee for a little bit of flexibility. The employee would not give us that and referred us to the manager. After a 20 minutes wait the manager arrived. The way he treated us was a blow in our face. He treated us with no respect at all!!! He was right that we were too late. However after spending a small fortune on RV rental a 100 dollars fine for 20 minutes late arrival did seem to be a bit harsh. Unfortunately there was no flexibility at all. The conversation became less friendly quickly and resulting in us being threatened to be charged a 300 dollar fine and a days rental of 285 dollar. The way he talked to us was in a loud and rude manner. We finally gave in as he would otherwise make use of our 1.000 dollar depositie and payed the 100 dollar. Finally, our daughter overheard the manager talking to other customers in a very negative way about us as well as lecturing them about terms and conditions whilst they were present during the discussion. It was very disappointing that a great vacation ended like this.

The RV'S they have a great inside and out. But they forgot to empty the black tank. Which we ended up doing. Also the Rv was still winterized. So we had to go back to town to refill with water. They didn't do anything about this. We lost a day. Not very happy with the customer service after we got back. They didn't seem to care. If anyone decides to rent from here make sure every tank is empty besides the gas and propane. Which they should be full at time of pickup. Maybe we should of went to Cruise America!

I don't want to rent for 3 days

Just have been there since we rented our motorhome in Orlando and drop it off in Seattle. So Denver was quite in the middle of our trip (3000 of in total 7000 miles). So we thought, perhaps they could do a technical check and an oil change, just gave it a try. Though we had no appointment they started the check after a short waiting time and after appr. one hour they were finished including oil change. The staff was extremely friendly and polite. Thank you very much!

When we walked into the office there were 3 employees s standing back to the counter talking and no one greeted us. There was also a lady at the computer who after a minute told the guys "there is a customer" then the guys all walked outside, still not acknowledging us. Then finally after more hesitation the lady finally asked if she could help us. We then found out there are no rv's even for sale here. Well that was a complete waste time. Thanks Road Bear RV rentals and SALES?

Great staff to work with. Clean RV, nice shuttle service.

We simply did not get what we paid for. In fact our RV (R-202556) has a problem and should never have left the Denver location. It was obviously badly maintained and broken. - A leak under sink had to be repaired right before we got the RV (we saw the corresponding paperwork in the car) - The morning after the pick-up we remarked that it was still leaking (which could luckily be fixed by a local repair service) - A week later, another different leak appeared, which is probably no coincidence and shows the bad condition of this RV Plus, and this is even more frustrating, we are extremely disappointed by their Help Desk. When we reported the second leak, we were dismissed by the agent with the remarks, "I cannot make a repair service appear in Cortez - there is nobody there. Just drive back to Moab (!) or to Durango and find a service person yourself"... It turns out that there are 3 (!) Mobile RV services in Cortez! What’s especially frustrating: the serviceman, which another agent has organized to examine the problem the 3rd day after we called (!), could have done the repair on the day we called first (we drove past his garage that day...) as the spare part that was needed was used on that afternoon. When we got to him, he could not fix the problem as he did not have the part!!! If the Help Desk had helped us the day we called first, the damage could have been fixed the same day. Instead we had to do without water for the whole second part of our rental (almost a week!). We have used Road Bear a couple times before and were happy with its service. This has dramatically changed during this trip. Although we got a significant discount when returning the RV we definitely will try out other RV renters for our future road trips.

First rate organization!!! They take care of all your needs weather your local or coming in from overseas.

Absolutely horrible! Side mirror did not have screw, so we couldn't change lanes without safely. We paid for insurances but still had to pay for "random" damages. Then, we are charged for cleaning because of a smell that they miraculously smelt AFTER I complained about my own issues with the RV. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Searched "RV for Veterans" on Google and they were HIGHLY mistaken. As a disabled veteran I felt used and taken advantage of .. with excessive fees. I paid more for my RV dropping it off than I did to reserve the vehicle!

Kathrine Thoen

Very nice staff. Easy pick up and guidance. We ordered the portable Wifi , which was not worth it. It was extremely expensive for only 1GB and it hardly worked during our journey. The GPS system was also outdated. Our RV was however flawless and we thouroughly enjoyed our ride!

We found no issues at all with RV Bear from the day we picked up our RV from their LAX depot (though this is some way from the airport) to when we dropped it back in Colorado. The gentleman who served us in LA appreciated that it was our first time hiring an RV and made sure to go over everything. The RV itself was great and easy to drive, and very comfortable for our 2 week holiday. When we dropped our RV off at Colorado, both the manager and the lady who did the inspection of the RV were exceptionally friendly, and the manager in particular when out of his way to explain the things to do in Denver as it was our final stop for a while. Overall - would highly recommend seeing the US in an RV and as I had no problems at all with this company, would recommend putting them on the list of places to hire from.

Never used an RV before. Rented a 19-22 ft Class C RV. They gave us a 23 ft RV!!! I don't know if the other locations do this but Denver gets brand new RVs each year, so we were the first renter of this brand new RV. Check in and instructions were very smooth. In and on our way in just about 30 minutes. Roadbear has very discreet branding on the RV, so you are not a traveling billboard like CruiseAmerica. We got the convenience package for 3, and the 1000 miles package. Plenty of room for my wife, adult daughter and myself. RV performed flawlessly on the drive from Denver to Tetons and Yellowstone. The convenience package also included a brand new Garmen with all the latest GPS features. We did not get the "hotspot" as they are dependent on data cell service, and data cell is very iffy throughout Tetons and Yellowstone. We did rent a car in Jackson Hole so we didn't have to use the RV for long jaunts around Yellowstone. I would recommend this, especially during the packed summer months. We stayed just south of Yellowstone the last week of May. Nighttime lows got down to mid 30's and one night we had an inch of snow. But the RV automatic propane furnace worked beautifully and we were snug and comfortable. Hot water lasted enough for 3 showers/day. Hook ups were a snap. Returning to Denver and turn in were equally efficient as check out. We highly recommend RoadBear, Denver!!!

(Translated by Google) Top RV rental with uncomplicated returns. It's great: there is a donations-shelf where New tenants can stock up. (Original) Top RV Vermietung mit unkomplizierter Rückgabe. Ganz toll: es gibt ein Spenden-Regal wo sich Neu-Mieter eindecken können.
