When you get to Fox rentals you wait in line for a long time. When we got there they had 2-3 employees on one computer. Also it doesn’t matter if you have a reservation or not everyone waits in line the same. We had a couple questions about returning the car early and customer service wasn’t knowledgeable about fees and policies so we couldn’t know what to expect. The car was decent... clean on the outside and ran fine but the experience to get the car was unpleasant.

Had a reservation so I arrived thinking I’d be able to pick up my car. NOPE! I line at least 50 ppl long was ahead of me. Sorry Fox, you will not be wasting any more of my time.

Oh dear Lord this is awful. We decided to rent through Fox due to the better price quote. Once we arrived the “fees” and cost went from a $500 quote to over $800! We get tot he first vehicle assigned and it was awful! No power options, no keyless entry, the most base of basic vehicle (and $300 more than quoted). We went to the booth and were assigned another vehicle. We were immediately greeted with the foul smell of vomit. Upon entering the car, it was stained, filthy and the only positive was it had power windows and keyless entry. I would not let a stray animal bed in this trash heap for the night! We were the informed that there were no other vans or 7 seater vehicles available. My children were hungry and ready to go. We will be returning this Tomorrow. We cannot even drive with the windows up due to the vomit smell. Stay far away from this company.

Rented a car from Angela to commute to MCO, I specifically asked Angela about the drop off being at MCO and not off the airport! Which she confirmed! It wasn’t until have way to Orlando that I looked at the paperwork and saw it was 20 minutes away from MCO!!! That’s why this place is a 2 star review!!! Terrible service! Plus I stood in line for over 3 hours

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience considering all the bad reviews I saw.. word of advice read all your fine print and understand what they try to upsell you. We paid exactly as described and were given an upgrade without asking! 2018 Dodge Charger was awesome for our Florida trip! Location and staff was great!! I will be renting again in the future!

Worst experience ever in my whole 30 years in USA. Worst customer service. They take too long to handle each customers I waited for an hour and a half almost two hours I will never recommend anyone. It’s not cheap rental along with worst service I would rather spend a Little more and get the company that values its customers and their time. Stay away from this location. If you want to waste your time and you are free then you can come and spend hours and chit chat with them when it’s your turn I am out with Fox never again

I went to pick up my rental that I scheduled via the internet. When I arrive the process was pretty quick. I decided to pay for my gas ahead so that I could bring the car back on air. When I opened the car to see how filthy it was and my gas tank was on 1/2 tank. I immediately return inside to inform the Fox rep that my rental needs to be vacuumed out. A guy came walking outside. I said are you taking my rental to vacuum. He says I don't know anything about that. I've been waiting for 20 min for someone to acknowledge me. He takes my rental to the back. To make a long story short.i waited 40 min plus the 20 min totaling 1hr for a rental car to be vacuum and my card reimbursed 1/2 tank. My advice to you is go with a more suitable rental establishment there's many.

This place was the worst car rental experience I have ever had. After 45 min of waiting in line we were given our key and was told to drive to the gate to go over any damages to the rental. When I pulled up to the gate there was a small glass building wit a sign that stated "please take pictures of any damages gone on break". The lady that checked us in asked where we would be travelling and stated we needed a toll pass so I elected to pay extra for the pass. We never drove on a toll road so a waste of money. I booked our rental online it showed 120.00 including extra insurance, after we walked away from the counter the total was 230.00. This is what I get trying to save a few bucks. Even the van that we were shuttled to the airport in was dirty and smelled horrible. Wish I could have give no stars!

Stay away!!! Reserved a specialty vehicle weeks in advance and pre-paid.......on arrival, got stuck with a mini-van instead of a jeep wrangler, and still got charged the same amount. Service seemed nice, except they knew the vehicle wasn't available, so they offered to check "the roof lot", hey "witches" come up with a better line. steer clear from this place, its a joke

Worst Travel Experience Ever! Waited over 30 minutes to see agent while every other rental agency had <5 minute wait. 3 customers ahead of me walked to other rental counters in my wait. Agent Mayans Manchanda interrogated me on missed toll fines in an attempt to upsell me on prepaid toll pass and refused to rent vehicle after I declined his inquisitions as a former Florida resident, well aware of toll policy and rental car fines. Agent reluctantly continued transaction after I requested refund and mentioning agreement with priceline.com. After driving vehicle away, my family noticed an ants nest in vehicle as a result of absolute filth in the vehicle. I suggest not a single person should rent from this agency. They are aware of the above problems and refuse to change their business model.

Reserved in advance. Waited in a non-moving line. The customers were exiting saying they didn't have cars. My wife rented a car in the next office without a reservation. In the 20 minutes or so i was in line, only one of three attendants moved on to a second customer, and he took that guy over to the neighboring place where my wife was to get her a car. Other google review suggest it was not just a bad day, You've been warned!

My rental experience was great! Keith was really friendly, helpful and informative, as was everyone else who worked with me. Ashley, who worked the pick-up counter, went above and beyond to help me with a special request. She certainly didn't have to help me out, especially considering how busy they were at the time. Here's my take on the wait times that reviewers take the most issue with: This is a low-cost rental agency, so don't expect everything to be lightning fast. I expected to wait a bit when I arrived to pick up my car, and I did, but it wasn't that bad with headphones and a little patience. Other people in line were really upset that they had to wait and were rude to the Fox employees. If you want truly fast pick-ups, then go get status at Avis or Enterprise, and pay twice as much for your rental. I think Fox did a fine job for the price they charged. Remember, you're probably getting cost savings because they aren't operating with a massive staff, which means the people that work there are working extra hard to get you into your rental as quickly as they can. Give them a break, plan your trip with some extra time for pick-up, and be happy you saved money. A suggestion - since you have the space at this location, add a cozy, colorful kids area with some toys and books in the corner of the pick-up counter area to keep kids occupied with one parent while the other waits in line. Doesn't work for single traveling parents, but I suspect it will help with most.

So I dont normally review on here, but I felt I needed to. So I got a dodge charger for my rental, and was initially pleased. The next day I planned on going on a longer trip so I always check my fluids in case I need to top up any. I checked my oil and it was black and looked unchanged for a while. Upon further instruction of the vehicle I noticed the passenger door trim was peeling, unknown stains on the seats and ceiling. So I tried calling fox, DONT DO THIS, I was on hold initially for 5 minutes got a person who said would help and get me a manager when I agreed to wait he hung up. I assumed I would get a call back but an hour later but nothing. So I called twice more to hear for 10mins that there were more then 10 people in the queue so I gave up. Which prompted me to drive back to the airport, now I must stress the customer service I experienced was great the lady at the counter was great and so was the gentleman Javi who helped me get a new vehicle. He was very professional and was the highlight of the experience at fox.

WORST PLACE EVER! 2 people working, a line of 13 people. Waited 45 minutes to find out they were going to charge me $150 security deposit (which I hadn't budgeted for!) on top of my reservation price. Went to Alamo and was in and out in less than 5 minutes with a rental car. This place was the WORST PLACE EVER. Lesson learned.

Reserved an economy car and when I arrived there was only 1 car left which was a minivan. They said that it would be the same price but it ended up being $105 more. They forced me to get the gas plan. If I didnt they said they would give the van to another waiting customer. It was 12:45 am and they turned many customers that had reservations away. Terrible service, super long lines and disturbing amount of shaming to nudge you to get an upgrade. The car that they provided was extremely warm down on the exterior and not washed to even attempt to clean things up a bit. If it wasn’t for the price I would have gone elsewhere. On a high note, the car was clean on the inside and ran fine.

Great value rentals but be prepared to spend 3 hours in line to pick it up, this is not acceptable. The company needs to employ more staff to process the high demand of customers. Will not book through them again.

I had a pathetic experience with this car company. The bus that drives you to the pick up location has no air conditioning and looked a hundred years old and had Dirty seats. The driver was unprofessional. The car pick up location seemed like an old warehouse and had more dirty seats. I got to the front of the line after 90 minutes only to be told that the car I had reserved online had a wait time as it was getting washed. If I did not want to wait I could go for a "bigger and better" car at just 20 dollars a day extra. Having run out of patience I accept the deal and drive away only to find a few minutes later that the car I had gotten was not cleaned either. When we returned the car 2 days later after filling a full tank of gas my receipt showed a 200 dollar charge for gas. When I asked the agent to correct it he put his hands up and said it was not something he was able to do and I had to go inside to get it corrected. Finally a supervisor showed up and directed me to someone who was able to take off the charge. They did not apologize even once the whole time which made me wonder if this was business as usual for them. The ride back in the bus was also very interesting. The driver kept turning back and talking to a passenger and taking his eyes off the road. Needless to say the AC was not working either though it was close to 100 degree day. These guys are a bit cheaper compared to other car companies but when you factor in the condition of the cars, the quality of service (the lack of it) and the gimmicks they plan on you - you are much better off staying as far away from them as possible!

We rented a car (Chrysler 300) online from fox. When we landed we went to pick it up ..there was a line. Each customer in line took an hour to take care of. I was very upset. I told my wife that I was going to check with some other rental places. I walked over to National and they had a chrysler 300 ready in 10 minutes for LESS money. Do yourself a favor...stay away from Fox

Just a heads up, the agents at the desk in Denver sold me a package to cover tolls after receiving explanation of where I would be driving and I was assured that the package was cheaper than the toll fees I would pay to drive to Santa Fe and back. Clearly they were wrong as there were no tolls at all on the highway to get to Santa Fe and back. Toll package is just another scam for Fox to fleece its customers. Will never rent with this company again.

Do not rent a car from here. Waited in line for 2 hours and finally decided to cancel the reservation after they detailed all of the fees and extras to rent the car. This place is not cheaper if you factor in all of the hidden costs. An elderly woman literally passed out in line and the paramedics had to come tend to her.

Cars are very dirty, high miles, and facility is not nice. Left personal keys attached to their keys, and still can't get a response, call, or anyone there to answer the phone. If you can, rent elsewhere, it's not worth the savings.

If I could give less that one star, I would! AWFUL experience in Denver! The line to collect our pre-paid car was over an hour and a half long. The service was awful and the carseafa for my toddler were so dirty and gross! Full of stains and just laying out in the open for bugs to crawl over! They refused to return our money and for over 50 people in a line they had 3 people! We had our toddler with us and were just appalled that this was the kind of service we received!

We had the most terrible experience with this company. DO NOT USE THEM. We prepaid for the rental and there were no cars when we got there. The person working gave us such a hard time (see youtube under Fox car rental in Tampa) and refused to help us and our kids. They still owe us our money back ($450) and they have been unresponsive to our needs. We will never use them again. They are thieves and should not be able to operate in the state.

Worst place to rent a car. Made an online order several months in advance and paid for it. Once we got there they took 2 hours to get the car and then they gave us the wrong car and that all they had. I ordered to 2 large suv to take us into the montians. They gave us to small cars with no 4 wheel drive. Made the trip so much harder to get to ski resort to ski resort

Waited an hour they didn’t have car ready even past pick up time. They didn’t even have the car we ordered at all!! Tried to give us a mini van when we payed for a luxury suv then tried to give us a Toyota Corolla. The car we received was damaged and had stains EVERYWHERE! I’m sorry but if I’m renting a vehicle on vacation I expect it to be nice. Rudest employees to deal with.. I have NEVER experienced such rude and unhelpful people before!! If I could give no stars I would! Tried to call customer service to complain and I couldnt get through. Couldn’t speak to the manager there because the employees said he wouldn’t do anything anyways?! Who says that?! If I ask for the manager get them! HORRIBLE COMPANY I WILL BLAST OUR EXPERIENCE EVERYWHERE!

They sold us a toll package telling us that it would be required to go in the mountains in Denver. Turns out that was not true. I didn’t know because it was my first time in Denver. We did not need that pass and we feel cheated and conned by them. They exploited our lack of knowledge of the area. They will not get a repeat business from me, or at least I will be more cautious. Plus they charged 33% tax. Which was unbelievable. Just make sure you decline everything they try to sell. They tried to sell me other stuff, insurance, fuel etc. I know better to decline those because I have perfectly good insurance. They guy wanted to see the proof. The first time a rental company has asked me to show proof of insurance! I had to dig it up on my phone, but I am sure they were hoping someone would pay instead of being able to find it. This is predatory company, I wish I had read the reviews here before booking with them. Be cautious.

I wish I could give zero stars. This company is a bunch of CROOKS!!!! They were unable to honor my pre-paid booking and made us book again. I was told the contracts would be merged so that I could receive a refund of the original paid amount. When I called to confirm I was yelled at by their customer service member (after waiting 2hrs) without her even asking for my confirmation number. I was eventually transferred to their building dept and promptly hung up on. I’m still trying to ensure I am refunded my original payment. Not mention the car we did end up with has trash littered all over the backseat. I am enraged and disgusting that you think this is a legitimate way to run a business.

I had to get a rental car at the last minute. The price of the rental was great with coverage for unlimited mileage, but be aware a hold for $500 was placed on the card and released within 48 hours upon return of the rental (depending on your bank). The car was clean, ran great, and was an excellent gas saver. The rental agents were great upon picking up the car and returning the car. Because it was my first time renting a car from the airport, it seemed to be a bit of a hassle due to me not really knowing my way to the counter and getting out upon picking up the car and returning it.

We rented from Fox for a rental car. The service has been horrible. Upon arriving to collect the car we were scammed by the office and forced to purchase a second rental. The first rental was finally refunded but not worth the headache. Secondly, the staff is poorly trained, and not just at one location. We had to pick land drop off the vehicle at different states. Both locations staff were incompetent and lied multiple times through the process. Finally, when we were dealing with a minor accident during the rental, a fender bender, they specifically stated they would not file a claim until with any insurance until after they have confirmed if the damages would be paid for directly. Instead, an hour after dropping off the vehicle we were notified they filed a claim causing our rates to go up with our insurance. Liars, scammers and thieves.

I did the mistake of renting a car from this place without reading the reviews, after reading the reviews you would know better to never rent a car from this place even if it is free because the fees they charge you after that is ridiculous. The rates on priceline and other websites are very cheap which are highly deceiving. When I reached the counter RITA (the worst staff) told me that they did not have full size I reserved so they would have to start a new reservation. They charged me $17 more per day and gave me a compact car. She forced me to add liability as she said she was going to give me an intermediate car and had to RIG the system! And on my birthday I had to drive a compact car with insurance that was forced on me. The car I was given was had white spots all over the seats my friends even got rashes sitting in the car. NEVER rent from this place again! I should have walked away from the counter, but I was too tired from the travel and they took advantage of my situation.

Horrible.....I did the booking with orbitz need the card for one day, upon arrival at the Miami airport i have wait for a bus, most rental car are in a modern building, well this is not the case with fox....upon arrival at the counter the agent said....we will charge you for insurance even that i have declined because i do have my own insurance plus my visa also cover the rental...noop this is not an option with fox, they he said we will hold 500 dollars deposit in the card.....when I refuse those ridiculous charges he said well go back to the airport in the next bus.....trust me cheap is not better, will never make a reservation with Fox not i will recommend to family and friends.

Also, they charge an atrocious amount of money for a deposit. After my own horrible experience with lack of customer service and reading reviews I canceled my reservation altogether and went with Alamo instead!

Never seen a car rental place that does not invest in technology. Their express check out app us complete garbage and does not work in most cities. At the time of writing this there are only 3 cities that the app allows you to use this service. There are literally 100 customers waiting for assistance by what looks like a very undermanned and underserved 4 people. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND SAVING THE FEW DOLLARS IS NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE. No customer should wait two hours to receive their car.

I would give 0 stars if possible. Prices were not as quoted, additional fees were added on at the last minute. Had to wait over an hour to get checked in for the car. Then I wanted to extend my reservation tried calling and all calls go to a corporate number. After waiting on hold for over an hour I got a real person and they were so rude they offered no help and hung up before we got the booking made. I am returning this car and going to rent from somewhere else I will never book with Fox again.

Terrible! Landed in Tampa at 9:45 and have been waiting 2 hours in a line of 60 plus people and the employees are laughing and having a good time. It’s taking 15 minutes per person to check in. No wonder they have such bad reviews this is a terrible experience and a waste of a beautiful day on our family vacation.

WORST EVER, THEY HAVE CARS THAT NEVER GET CLEANED. Customer service is non existent, you will just be on hold for ever. I was changed for rental and a deposit and when return of vehicle was charged again, my deposit is short by $200 and no way to get a hold of anyone to take care of problem, my advice is to pay the little extra and avoid the cheap price for cheap service.

Charged MORE than quoted through Expedia. D'ONT TAKE the PlatePASS that they promote. The counter agent LIED about how important it was to take. He Said: 1) there are so many tolls in Florida 2) if you go through and don't have a PlatePass it is a penalty of $14 each time plus the toll 3) when we asked about Just Cash lanes he said that there weren't many left. Sadly I only saw a toll on the last day of a 10 day trip. #feelingrippedoff

I messed up on my flight times. I thought it was 9:30 am but it was actually 9:30 pm I called and asked if I could change the pick up time to 11 PM. They told me to call southwest since it was a 3rd party. I called south west and they told me that I needed to call fox rentals. I called again and she says we can hold it for three hours but you will have to reserve it again! The price I reserved it was 190. They said it will be 373. I went Thrifty and got it for 197 for the week. When she ask if I needed anything else I said I don’t think so by time I could finish she already hung up on me! Worst experience ever also this is our honeymoon and they made it pretty bad!!

Nasty nasty workers. The Indian gentleman (he didn’t have a name tag) was horribly rude and just strait up disgusting in how he spoke to me. My husband even had to step in after hearing him. In addition he said it’s $15 per toll on a sunpass. $15 for a $2 toll? Doesn’t add up. I was overcharged as well. The vehicle I got had dents in it. Also the woman behind me had a pick up scheduled and he closed the glass at her and told her to go to another car place. She was also appalled. THE worst customer service ever. We rent cars all over the US, including at other Fox locations but I have never had such terrible experience picking up a car that was reserved online. Today was our second reservation. Our first reservation was in May. We booked online days ahead but when we went to pick up the car, not only did we have to wait over an hour but they told us they didn’t have the car for us. How?! You have a reservation made online days ahead and you tell the customer you don’t have their car?? They did not work with us on getting another car. We were so frustrated that we ended up leaving and booking with another company. Today, we went to pickup a car from them. Booked online, one day ahead. Because we are locals, they put a $1000 hold on our credit card (I don’t care about the hold amount but I’m sure a lot of other people would as this is a steep amount). After completing the paperwork, the Hispanic lady said “I have to wait for the Jeep”. They didn’t have it as the manager was driving it. We asked for another car. She gave us the worst looking car on the lot, it was beat up pretty badly. There were 3 other wranglers on the lot so when we went to the car pick-up area we asked the younger lady who worked there if we can have a Jeep like we originally booked. She was nice and said “no problem”. I believe people and places deserve a second chance but this place did not show any improvement in customer service so I will never book from them again. Just a terrible experience both times.

We booked a Jeep 4 months in advance.We even had to Uber from one airport to anther and they didn't have the Jeep. Then they tried to give us a lower end car for the same price. It was very upsetting. The clerk then told us they just rented out the last Jeep to make matters worse. We cancelled our reservation and went to Alomo. I guess I should have known better to rent a car drom a company I never heard of. I'm will never rent from them again.

Worst experience ever with a rental car company! I had a late flight into Tampa and just wanted to get my two young kids to bed but once we reached the rental counter that was clearly nit going to happen. It took over an hour to get my car (there were only two people ahead me in line). I booked through Expedia and thought I paid online but they told me they never received payment. So my rental car that was supposed to cost me 284 ended costing me almost 800. So many fees were added that weren’t listed when I booked. Then they didn’t inform me that when dropping off my car that it wasn’t at the Orlando airport it was off site...I wasn’t even given an address. We finally found it dropped off the car. Unloaded and reloaded our luggage and our kids twice from a shuttle because the guy didn’t want to go back to the airport. Made our flight by 3 minutes despite giving ourselves 3.5 hours to get it all done. I’m not one to complain but this company is a joke and if you want to keep your sanity during vacation...Do Not Rent from this company. I did learn a lesson though read all reviews not just Expedia’s recommendations.

This was my first time using Fox and I was pleasantly surprised. My rental car was clean, modern and work fine, Dodge Crossover and the return process was as smooth as it is at Hertz. My only knocks are how long it took to get the car, 25 minutes in line, despite all 6 service counters being open. There's no self-service like Hertz and it seemed like the system they were using was slow as there were clear time gaps between the questions I was being asked and the items I needed to sign off on. The other thing is the airport shuttle. I was leaving Sunday morning and it took about 1/2 hour to arrive and another 10 minutes to get to the airport, so just plan accordingly for the wait.

the site changed my dates when i entered a coupon. i immediately tried to use live chat on website ro change reservation. Live chat means send an a message to someone that is not there. No one is live. Then i called to cancel erroneous reservation. i held 30 minutes then chose call back when representative available. i received a call back 45 minutes later. the call said it was fox rental car i was 8th in line. WTF???? Why use this feature if they call back so you can not talk to someone! 5 minutes later it said i was 9th in line. HOW CAN YOU MOVE BACKWARDS IN A QUEUE?? I will tell you how. DISHONESTY. 45 minutes later, with the phone to my ear, still on hold. all to cancel a reservation that was erroneously booked because i had no option other talk to someone. Then i finally got someone. Only to tell me my reservation was not editable!!!!!!!! Crooks. Every thing about this company is crooked. They are dishonest Thieves. Check out the consumer fines they have paid. Complete schiesters!!!!!

If you can rent a car through another company please do, I’m just warning you now. Was told over the phone before arriving to pick up vehicle that the deposit was $200. I was perfectly fine with that and once I got there , the deposit magically turned into $1000 so I went elsewhere for a vehicle last minute and paid more money than I needed to.

First time using this agency and I must say that it may be the last. Five agents were actively serving customers rotating out for lunches and breaks and the line was still long. I have learned patience over the years and was quite proud of myself this day, but there comes a time when enough is enough. Waiting in line for hours is not acceptable. My suggestion to Fox, if you know you have peak periods, hire more staff. After a long flight, customers want to pick up their rental cars and check into their hotel.

I ordered a full size. At the counter the guy told me I was getting a compact. When I told him I reserved a full size he said "ok". Walked to pick up the car and it was a mini van..... The guy didn't say anything about putting me in a mini van. Pretty sure that's not going to go unnoticed. He was very rude. I went back and all they said they had left was compacts. I said that's fine but then they tried to charge me the same price. I had to get a manager to give me the lower price for smaller car. Total hassle and never again will I use Fox

DON’T RENT FROM FOX, IT IS NOT WORTH IT. I just had a terrible experience with Walter. After standing in line for over an hour, the man was very rude to us. It started when I asked why the bill was so high. He asked me if I ever read anything. I told him there was no need to be rude. He said he wasn’t and we were off. He told me I was negative and a complainer. I’m a CUSTOMER who waited over an hour and didn’t bring it up and then I get criticized and insulted. He kept on at me and was never apologetic. He mocked us for waiting in line so long. It was really amazing to be treated like that. I asked about a manager, he was working right next to us and could hear what was going on. I asked who I could talk to tomorrow since they were clearly buddies and the “manager” said anyone in the office. He didn’t offer anything in the way of customer service. Please don’t rent from Fox. They don’t deserve our business and we don’t deserve this kind of treatment. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for.

When I arrived to pickup the car I reserved I was told since I wasn’t using a credit card they couldn’t rent the special suv to me. So they gave me a Toyota 4Runner that was pretty beat up by car rental standards. I drive the car about 40 miles and the check engine light came on. I called customer service and was told the oil change was due. I was told by customer service I could either bring the car back and exchange it or I could get the oil changed at firestone which is who they use for corporate maintenance. I was an hour 1/2 from the Denver airport so I chose to just take it and get the oil changed. I spent 3 hours out of my vacation getting the oil changed for them. After getting the oil changed the check engine light stayed on so I again called customer service. I was told I would need to bring the car back and exchange it. I asked if they could meet me with a car to exchange and I was told not unless it was broke down and not drivable.

Completed the request form online and didnt get anything I asked for. Charged me more then I was given with reservation and still didnt give me any of my requests. After waiting 45 minutes to get my car the vehicle was dirty, smelled bad, did not have auto locks or windows. Only took the car just to get out of the airport. They talk about customer satisfaction but agents are incredibly insensitive to any basic customer service skills. The agent who helped us had my license in hand and continued to type in the wrong name on my paperwork 3 times. Try calling them at anytime - you will never get through. They will keep you on hold reminding you that you are behind 10 callers for over an hour. Never have I ever experienced this in my life with a simple rental car.

From the start the shuttle driver was in his phone and didn't help at all. The staff in the facility recommended add-ons that weren't needed. Sent us to the lot to find our dirty car that had crumbs all over the inside of the vehicle. The rear wiper didn't work on the vehicle. The tire pressure monitor was on the entire trip into the mountains. Overall a very disappointing experience.

This is a major rip off. MAKE SURE YOU GE THE TOLL PROGRAM OR THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A $15 ADMIN FEE FOR EVERY TOLL EVEN IF THE TOLL IS $1. They say that in your agreement is a clause that they will charge you $15 for every toll no matter what the toll amount is. We had a $1.35 toll and had to pay an additional $15. Funny thing is I just read about rip off fees in this months Consumer Reports and this was exactly what they said. If you sign up for the toll program, they charge you $11 a day even if you dont use any tolls at all. What aj joke. They bury this in the rental agreement knowing full well no one reads it and just signs and get son their way. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL PAY MORE FOR TOLLS THAN THE CAR!!!!!

The worst experience I have ever had renting a car. The wait in line was over an hour and the customer services reps were very unfriendly. I had prepaid online and assumed that was the full cost of the car, wrong. I called customer service and ended up waiting another hour and half on hold. I assume this is a typical wait time since so many people have issue with renting a car through this company. Next time I'm sticking with National... or just any other rental company.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!! You might think you are doing yourself a favor by saving a little money, but I can assure you that you are NOT! Read all these reviews! When you finally get off your plane and are ready to get going on your vacation, you will be greeted with an extremely long line (we waited in line for over an hour and when we left the line was even longer). No other car rental companies at the airport even had a line. We rented a Jeep Wrangler, paid in advance, and when we got there they “had no jeeps left”. TWELVE people in line had jeeps reserved and there were none in the parking lot to rent out. We were told we had to get a different car. We settled for a small suv, asked for a discount and were told “no because we were upgrading from a Jeep Wrangler”. Everyone in line was having the same problems. Service is very poor. Our car was dirty and smelled. I most definitely would rather have paid $100 more and NOT waited in line for hours after a long flight and had the clean Jeep I reserved. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! Please learn your lesson from this review as I am trying to save you from the horrible experience everyone has with this company. Honestly, this business should be reported to the better business bureau as it is fraudulent. I wish I could give negative stars, but a 1 out of 5 will have to do. If you rent from here, you might save a little cash but the hassle you will experience from this company is truly not worth it. You also will not get the specific car you reserved.

We reserved a car online only to be told that the car isn’t available and they could only offer a 2 door compact car....we have a toddler in a car seat. Buckling a child into a 2 door compact car is extremely difficult. They are not willing to accommodate and take no responsibility. They are extremely unapologetic. Rude even. Currently standing in a line that’s 12 people deep. I’ve been here for 30 minutes and 2 new customers have received service since I arrived. The three agents working take an average of 10-15 per customer. And just then, one of the agents left. A toddler is crying alone against the wall next to the line. Children run back and forth the cavernous warehouse style building, every sound amplified by the concrete floors and aluminum ceiling. People stand still or slightly sway nervously. No one looks happy. Why would they? And the wait continues ...

About 45 minutes after waiting at the airport we finally got picked up at 1am, corralled on a crowed shuttle bus. After arriving at the facility we waited in line for another hour and a half just waiting in line. A lady in front of me got her car and then had to come back 15 minutes later because it had a flat so they had to re-issue a car to her. The worst experience of my life. I finally gave up and while in line, I ordered a Uber and left. Only 3 people were working the counter for about 30 customers at 2am.

Horrible cars and service! Go elsewhere! The first car we got did not start. Then the lady tried to tell us that it did start and there were no other cars to rent. Then she went out to prove to us that the car would start, but it didn’t so she MIRACULOUSLY found a car for us (where there hadn’t been any others available just 5 minutes prior. The replacement car had stains all over the seats, a smashed side view mirror, smelled like cigarette smoke, and it took almost 15 minutes to do the check list. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!!

Car had done over 50k miles and is scratched and scuffed in many places, got double charged for the rental by the booking agent and Fox. Also Fox rep said the damage deposit is only a credit card authorisation hold but they actually posted the transaction to my card. Never again, never ever.

So I need to express my frustration with Fox Rentals. I recently flow in to Denver and need a car for two days. So thru Expedia I rented from Fox. To state I want to just say Never Again. First I had to wait over 45 mins for their shuttle. Then when I arrive before the girl at the counter knew how I was paying the girl at the counter she grabbed an SUV keys. Then when I tell her that I ordered a Jeep Wrangler, she goes oh, well it is our policy not to rent then unless you are personal credit card. FYI I was using a business credit card. Then when I asked to speak to a manager I was told, sorry they are too busy to hear me complain. Which honestly is pretty rude. So as I could not wait any longer I just took the SUV they gave me. The next problem, the car was barely clean on the inside and dirty on the outside. Other Problems: * They accidentally charged my card twice, and told me it would take update 5 days to correct. So as a whole not the best rental experience I have ever had. I would not recommend using this car rental company to anyone. It is clear they do not operated the best rental service, and have bad customer service.

Scam company. Quietly tried to steal $25 off our deposit without saying anything. I'm lucky to happened to have noticed it on the receipt. When asked why, he claimed the tank wasn't full. I showed him the Shell gas receipt from 15 minutes earlier, still claimed that wasn't proof that it was full. I called out their bull sh1t until they refunded the full amount. Trust me, spend the little bit extra to avoid this scam company. They survive by falsely nickel and dining customers and stealing from your deposit. If you do decide to go with them (don't do it), check your receipt over very carefully.

Rip off!! Booked car through kayak... Returned car full of gas. Bunch of hidden charges including 150 dollars to fill car with gas. Argued with girl at counter until gas money refunded. I passed and they gave me a different car. At one point there were 13 people in front of me in line and many more than that behind me. I waited in line for two and a half hours for my rental. The guy told me he was going to upgrade my car to a challenger for free because they were out of the car I rented. He then added on a bunch of extras that I did not want. When I told him I didn’t want all those extras he got very mad at me and told me that he is going to charge me $10 extra a day for the upgraded car. I spent 30 minutes arguing with him after waiting nearly two and a half hours. Terrible place and terrible customer service.

Save yourself the hassle and DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! I should’ve done my due diligence and read the reviews prior to coming to the airport and standing in the ridiculously long line they had. Once I got to the counter, the problems only got worse. They took my ID & company credit card, swiped it and ran it for the $500 hold, and then tried to tell me that my card was a debit card!!! Mind you- I have never had issue renting a car any other time with this same method of payment! I opted out of their additional fees and insurance since I was only traveling a short distance to Orlando. This is an independent rental car company and they are in the business of taking your money and ripping you off!! HEAD MY WARNING AND TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!! Horrible customer service even after I asked to speak with a manger!

We waited a fairly long time (15 to 20 min) at the airport waiting for the shuttle, as were other customers. After boarding the shuttle with several other passengers, it was apparent the AC did NOT work and several passengers voiced their opinion about this. The car we had was not the cleanest on the outside, had several dings and just overall unimpressed with the vehicle. The staff we encountered were not very personable or even overly friendly. The shuttle had no air condition and was stuffy. After returning the car we got on the shuttle and waited a few minutes, then asked the driver how much longer til we left (as stated previously, the shuttle was hot and stuffy) the driver said about 5 minutes. We told him we were going inside to charge our phones. We were inside,but could still see the shuttle. Within 3 minutes the driver hopped on the bus and left as we are trying to run after him. We called an Uber rather than wait on another shuttle. I was waiting in line to complain, however our uber arrived before I reached the counter. Do yourself a favor and deal with another car rental company!!!

We rented a car on May 19 for June 12 through 19th through Expedia. On morning of June 12th we received a phone call from Fox Rental car company that they do not have a car available. He also informed me there are other car rental company at airport where I can rent car from. I asked him wouldn't last minute renting be expensive? In answer he hung up. I complained to Expedia. They contacted the rental company. Fox rental company informed Expedia that it was I who cancelled the car renting, which was lie. Of course, I had to rent another car at exorbitant price from another company. You might save a few dollar by renting car from Fox rental car but you might find out at last minute that you do not have car and lend up spending much more.

Kristen, I believe was her name was making it so difficult for us to get a car. We had a family of 6 and lots of luggage. 2 children under 3 and wheelchair. It took 2 hours to get a vehicle. Price was not the same as quote from Southwest reservations website. It was way more! We won’t be back!

Terrible, terrible, terrible. It took forever for the shuttle to arrive at the airport. When it did arrive it was so small that all the people waiting would not fit in it and many on it had to stand. The driver got in a disagreement with the people waiting about when the next shuttle would come. Then, once we finally arrived at the rental building the wait was over an hour. Then they didnt have the car I reserved and I had to drive a much smaller car. Why even make a reservation? When we finally got our car it has a tire out of balance that is causing an uncomfortable vibration. Not worth the time. I will never use them again.

Upon getting picked up from the airport the shuttle driver picked up everyone else bags but mines. Upon arriving at Fox there was only 2 people working so the line was slow which did not bother me. ON THE RIDE BACK same guy did not help us with our bags and when we got on the shuttle to leave he decided to smoke a cigarette and talk to his buddies. 20 min later I missed my flight. Hire people who actually care. AND fire the shuttle guy, possibly African.

Not even worth 1 star. Worst car rental experience so far. I rented a Jeep Wrangler which had mechanical issues. The car used to vibrate vigorously all of sudden on the highways. Basically they didn't even check the car before renting it out. Since Fox car rental is only located at Denver airport, I had to travel 2 hours to get the car changed. They were initially very reluctant in giving me a replacement car. I asked them for different car other than Jeep Wrangler, they asked me to pay more if I need a different car. So I ended up having another Jeep Wrangler only. The staff was not at all friendly. I would highly recommend to opt for different car rental agency even if you have to pay few dollars extra. Also the car was scratched up every where.

Rent a car from these guys at your on peril. The worst experience and company I’ve ever dealt with in renting a car. Don’t be fooled by the offer of a discount or low price rental. There are a lot of hidden fees added on and they come with substandard service. I wish there was a way to rate them below zero. I pre-booked the rental for a vacation. As I arrived to pick up the rental there was a very long wait for no apparent reason..the reps were rude and seemed as if they just didn’t want to be bothered. And of course, they didn’t have the vehicle I booked. I was provided with something of a lesser quality but at the same price. Since I paid in advance there would have been substantial penalties for canceling the rental. There was just stupid stuff like if you bring the car back early there is a penalty. Give yourself time to go over your final bill before you leave their office. If you don’t you may find yourself trying to resolve a bunch of 3 letter acronyms fees. This was my first time renting from Fox and it’s definitely a NEVER AGAIN!

Took 45 minutes to checkout at 8:30 pm. Every customer was taking 20 minutes to process. Car ran fine, but had 66 k and a 6" round hole in carpet where drivers heal hit. Scratches all around and key fob did not work. Lots of up sale pressure at counter. No scratch and dent form was provided. You get what you pay for as it was the least expensive option that weekend.

Terrible car rental experience. My vehicle was old had 70,000 miles, smelled of smoke, looked like it went through a hail storm and must have had something stuck in a tire because it made a funny noise the entire drive. I picked my car up in Tampa and had to wait about 45 minutes for someone to help me get checked in. This was not the fault of the employees though. There were 7 people in front of me and 4 counter employees all working very hard. However it appears that this rental company is mainly used by newbies that ask lots of questions (my normal rental companies had no cars available) and had no clue how to rent a car. Truthfully the employees at Tampa were very professional but the vast majority of the clueless masses renting from FOX should not be allowed to drive, breed, or make adult decisions. So if you’re planning on leaving the airport quickly don’t use FOX. They’re really only for a last resort situation.... Driving the car was painful there was something stuck in the tire which made a it painful to drive. The car was old, missing parts and smelled of smoke. However the car worked and have us no issues. What makes my review worth 1 star was the return experience. The location of the return area is off airport and the address on top of the rental form is incorrect. If you go to the address on the rental form it brings you to an old auction house. The shuttle is supposed to run every 10 minutes but we waited 30 minutes for it to arrive and then waited 25 minutes on the shuttle before departing for the airport. Total time from arrival at drop off facility to airport was 80 minutes!!

By far the worst experience ever dealing with a car rental company. Overall poor leadership and no sense of urgency to move customers in and out to cars. There was at least 20 people in line and only two agents working (who were working diligently). I stood in line for an hour and 10 minutes only to be told that they would not be able to give me a car for reasons I will not go into, but I never have any issues with the more commonly used companies. In fact, I went right over to Dollar and rented a car with no issues and it only took me 15 minutes max without a reservation. Beware of the low cost at Fox rental, because you will definitely pay later in one way or another.

Rented from Fox in Orlando. First time with this company as I am preferred with Avis, Hertz, and National. This was a personal trip and I was trying to save a few bucks; didn't work out that way and the experience was unpleasant. First, voice prompted telephone for customer service requires you listen to and use prompts, which is horribly inconvenient when you are trying to sort out their location of pick up location at the airport. Check in agent was surly and unprofessional. The car (a Toyota 4-Runner with 10,000 miles included several dents and scrapes) and check out with the gate keeper was arduous. We returned the car at 5:00 am and was met with an extensive line waiting for the shuttle, which arrived late. Ended up call for an Uber to make it to the airport on time. Add $14 to the cost of the rental. All in all...I would never use this firm again.

Horrible! Worst rental car company I have dealt with. Didn’t have the car promised. I had to have the car back by 4pm. I returned it at 2pm and they said there is a $19 fee for returning it two hours early. For returning it EARLY. The customer service rep had an attitude when I complained about this. I checked with Budget and Avis and they have not heard of such a thing. Stay away.

Rent here, be disappointed. The employees there are not to blame, it's the policies this company has in place. It must wear them down so that everyone is immediately surly and disrespectful. If you are a florida resident, be surprised to be hit for a $1000 (One Thousand) dollar hold on your credit card. Booked through Hotwire and didn't know?? Tough, pay it. Picked out, Reserved and Paid for a vehicle a week In advance. They did not have my vehicle I requested. Therefore for whatever reason, they felt the need to charge me $10 more a day for a "Jeep Wrangler"? over my reserved vehicle a "Jeep Grand Cherokee". Please people, tell me how a "Wrangler" should Cost $10 more a day than a "Jeep Grand Cherokee"??????? "MY Personal Opinion ONLY" Bait, switch, because they probably only have Extremely limited Grand Cherokees. Then charge more in the process? AND FOR WHAT? Never Ever Ever Again! They owe me 50 bucks After all of this though, Everyone was very nice. They're just doing their jobs. They don't make the rules, they don't buy the inventory, And they don't write the online advertising. That's FOX, And that's who the "1" Star is for!

First we waited about 30 minutes for the shuttle, and now we have been waiting 40 minutes in line and still are not close to the desk. There are at least 35 people in line with only three people working the desk and I haven’t seen any worker take less than ten minutes, and one employee in particular took at about 20 minutes just talking with the customer. They knew we were coming and yet the employees still do not seem to care. Overall this place really does not even deserve one star. I’m being generous

This it the worst rental car place I've ever seen. They are nothing but a scam. You have a reservation yet cars aren't ready, You wait in line for 2 hours to find out it will cost you $120 more than then it takes them an hour to bring you a car, they'll try to tell you that the car is full of gas to rip you off for a another $20 but you'll be lucky if it's half full. Save yourself time, frustration, and probably money and just avoid this dump.

Terrible experience. Ended up renting from a different rental company. I booked my car 2 months in advance prior to my trip, followed-up with Fox a few days prior to arriving in Tampa to make sure everything was good, and they still didn't have the type of car I booked. They said they could give me a car that was cheaper/smaller than my original booking for the same price (???), or I would have to pay $30 a day more to "upgrade" to a convertible. I booked the car through Orbitz, so I'm not sure if the disconnect is between Fox and Orbitz or if Fox is just that bad, but regardless I will never do business here again. The agent I worked with was very rude, not helpful at all, telling me he was doing me a favor by ONLY upcharging $30 a day when he didn't have the original car I had booked, and in my opinion was asking for a fight. Also if you are a Florida resident, be prepared to have a $1,000 pull from your credit card as a deposit (Keep in mind they are located in Florida and this ONLY applies to Florida drivers... another questionable scam in my opinion). I rent cars all the time and understand the industry quite well, I know all rental car companies will take a deposit, but never $1,000 and especially not if you are a driver in the same state that their company is domiciled in. Needless to say, the only good part about my experience is I didn't have to pay anything up front and was able to walk away. In the amount of time I was going back and forth with the unprofessional rental agent, my girlfriend acted quickly and rented the same type of vehicle (through Orbitz) that I originally rented from a different rental company at the Tampa airport for $5 less. Fox wasn't doing me any favors, and I assume this is how they handle all of their business/treat all of their customers. Do yourself a favor and stick with the well-known, big dog rental companies when you travel to Tampa and need to rent a car. Fox claims they are cheaper than the bigger rental companies but realistically they aren't and their customers are the ones that pay the price for their lack of size and professionalism.

The shuttle took 15 min to pick us up at the airport on a shuttle bus with no AC in 95 degree heat, then any non prepaid (we had a reservation with credit card hold online) car was cancelled due to a "late shipment of cars". We were asked to book another company online last minute. Here we are 1.5 hrs after we landed standing in yet another line at Avis... Hopefully they have a car for us. Its cheap, but not worth the hassle in the end... Don't go here. I'd consider giving it .5 stars more because the manager was relatively nice and they shuttled us directly to Avis, but then I realized all they had to do was have a team member standing at the airport informing the people who didn't prepay to go somewhere else and not waste the time

Worst experience ever. Slow. Bad attitude by employees. Be careful if you want to extend your rental especially if they chose to upgrade you for free. They’ll want to charge you the daily rate, plus the difference for the “free upgrade”, plus $25 PER DAY!!!!! My $27/day car would have jumped to $87/day!!! No kidding!!! Highway Robbery!!! I would give them -5 stars if I could.

they need to make sure the car or vehicle type you reserve is available. we took a family vacation and had 6 adults. we reserved a van. we got an SUV. the suv had enough seating however not enough for our luggage, which were one personal and one carry on per person. after going back in, they gave us keys to a van that had water collecting in the back where our luggage was suppose to go and the third row seating was wet. oh and the moldy smell. after going back in another time, WE SETTLED on another suv. we squeezed in holding our personal bag in our laps for the drive of 2 hours to get to the rocky mountain state park. we had to rearrange at a walmart on the way due to getting a smaller cooler than we would like and groceries to eat for 4 days. Thanks fox for making the rental car experience from you guys horrible! I will never rent from yall and warn my friends and family!!! not worth the money saved. Also the suv we received needed new front turning signals, oil change, and airbags serviced or checked. So we rode without airbags enabled or turning signals

Worst car rental experience. This was in June and somehow has not been resolved yet. Our flight was delayed and we got in after midnight, Fox was staffed with three employees. When we got in line there were were 3 people in front of us. It took over an hour to get our car. After returning from our trip we noticed the charge was $150 more than quoted, no damage to the car while we had it and filled the gas tank. This has still not been resolved and then a couple weeks ago we were charged an additional $100 for “tolls and fines” we did not go through any tolls. Would rate a 0 if possible. Will update review if matter is resolved satisfactorily.

This place was terrible! Booked a rental for our family vacation, had been traveling all day finally made it to our destination try to rent our car, they say they cannot use my card that I made the reservation with and after I said well what am I supposed to do now I have two small children with me we need a car? The guy at the counter was absolutely rude, he said not my problem. They were going to charge my card an extra $400 that was not agreed upon. I honestly can’t believe how I was treated and this company is garbage. I hope nobody else uses them. Thankfully I walked around the corner and rented a car from Hertz and the lady there was amazing!

The price I booked for the car is not the price I payed even after the employee at fox reassured me I was just putting a deposit of $150 and that I would get it back upon return of the car. Not what happened, they took the $150 on top of the $180 to rent the car. I'm out $330 even tho that's not the price I got thru Fox and Expedia. Also thier customer service phone line is just an answering machine, they do not call you back. Go somewhere else to rent a car!

Flight was delayed, called them to let them know, they said I would have to cancel my reservation and re-reserve at nearly 20% more than my initial reservation. WTF? Renting a car at an airport, people are flying in, flights might be late, delayed etc ... right? This was all after nearly an hour on hold listening to them say over and over their mission statement was to create happy customers. You guys have a long way to go. Extremely disappointing.

Ouch. This was the most painful rental car experience I've had. It took us 45 min to rent a car with a prior reservation. The line was 20 people long and the throughput was slow. Fox has not invested in their operations or technology which resulted in long transaction times. Even as frequent renters knowing which coverage to decline it took us 7 minutes to check out. Then we had to wait to exit the location too. Not ultimately worth the discount. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the SUV we rented was in good shape and the return process was smooth.

DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM HERE. I booked online a week in advance and chose this place because it was a little cheaper than most rentals. The shuttle picked us up fairly fast but the line for the rental was over an hr wait. Only one person working and informed me the car I reserved was no longer available. However, they had several Jeeps in the parking lot. Then, he proceeded to try and get me to pay more for a different car. By the end, I ended up paying $400 extra. The car is not at all maintained. The inside was NOT clean. Gross stains on the seats and the car keeps knocking out of fear in the middle of the road. And the oil change and various other signs keeps popping up. SAVE YOURSELF FROM RENTING HERE.

We haven’t gotten our car yet, but no one wants to arrive from a non-stop red eye flight and wait on a line that takes nearly an hour. There are only three agents working and the line moved once since we’ve been here after 15 minutes. The driver was polite and helpful but the shuttle was old with dingy, soiled seats.I don’t have a good first impression of this company. Their whole organization seems to be a waste of time and space.

If you’re a fan of overpriced cigarette smelling cars, terrible service and questionable car seats you’ve come to the right place!! The first car they assigned us smelled like they had just finished a carton of marb reds in it that morning. We asked for another car because we were traveling w our 1 yr old and didn’t want her breathing that garbage in. The second car was smaller than the first (“standard suv”) but we were still able to squeeze in our luggage. Would’ve been fine with it BUT even though it was smaller and technically in the same class as the first, it increased our rental rate..... wait, what? Then there was the “car seat” we rented. Lol. Admittedly this was our mistake and we should have brought our own. The seat given to us (for $90!) wasn’t even fit for my daughters dolls, it was extremely cheap. To make matters worse the staff did not know how to adjust it or set it up nor did they expend any extra effort in trying to find another staff member for help or direction. Instead they just stood, hands in pockets, watching us struggle with the toy car seat. All in all the service was terrible, the car seat was unsafe and the cars were of poor quality. And on top of it all the quoted price was not even close to the final price. But some people like pain so if that’s your thing, rent a car from Fox at the Tampa airport!

Overall I had a great experience with Fox rent a car. The pickup and drop off process was easy. The reasons I'm giving them a four star was because when their employee was checking on the vehicle before we left, the paperwork had the wrong mileage so the employee corrected that. Then after we got back home, I had to call them in order to get my refund back. But other than that, no problems or issues.

Extremely unprofessional, unhelpful, and unfriendly. Fox claimed the pre-paid rental could not be picked up because it was booked under a different name than the name on the credit card. Could not change the reservation name or refund the rental - only offered to book a second rental at a “hopefully” similar rate. Was told to call the 1800 number for the company we booked with, low and behold, it connected us to Fox Rent a Car, scam. Refund was issued but not until after I booked for cheaper through Budget - much better experience. Don’t waste your time, just go with a better brand.

The rental car I received was great. However, the lost and found service is horrible. I forgot my jacket and hat in the back seat of the rental. I called several times and never received a return call. I understand that i left the jacket however, it would he nice to hear from a business when you leave a message. I was eilling to pay the shipping. Their customer service is lacking and I hope they never find themselves in a similar situation.

We arrived at a show time, shuttle was quick, didn't have exactly what I rented but offered a great replacement. Employees were moving as fast as possible, just not many of them. I would recommend you NEVER rent a car from this establishment. I came in on a delayed flight and then waited in line for 1.5 hours at 1 am. Everyone in front of me was also having issues with the company. When it was finally my turn, they told me that since it was later than my original time, ( by 3 hrs per them) my original booking was canceled. They only also had one car available. I explained, my flight coming in was delayed and then I waited in line for 1.5 hours, So technically i was not late. The agent informed me at 245am, that the only solution was to rent me a minivan for an extra $75 then originally ordered. Needless to say I went to AVIS who promptly assisted me and were extremely accommodating.

One star because it is the lowest you can give (MIami location). I can not imagine who rents from this place on purpose. We ended up with this in a Priceline bundle (never using Priceline again. First PL said I had Hertz in the bundle then after I received my emailed receipt it then stated Fox rental as my new company.) Reasons for one star: deceit, hidden charges, damage on the car, $25 penalty for returning it at 5pm the day before rather that noon the next day (we had a 7am flight). Deceit: they have a sign tries to get you to buy their gas saying we could pay as much as 3.99 per/gal if we don't - actually gas never topped $2.60 per/gal all the way to Keys. They forced us to buy extra insurance saying it was Florida law-it is NOT. We knew that it WAS NOT but we just wanted to get out of there. My husband didn't have enough patience for one more lie. They told us that we should buy a Sun Pass from them for $8 per DAY and that if we don't Sun Pass could potentially charge us up to $20 in fines per day. We purchased our own. The car had damage, no one inspected it with us, and we were so flustered by our encounter that we just took pictures before we left the company's lot.(pics have time/date proof) . When we returned it, they tried to say there was no record of the damage. When I said that we had picture proof, they let it go WITHOUT seeing the pictures. The car: no door mats, it smelled faintly like someone had smoked in it, and no electronic lock opener was provided. The shuttle is slow and both the building and the shuttle smell like urine. The place was dirty, both figuratively and literally.

Extremely poor experience. Shuttle did not meet us at the airport. There were about 30 people waiting when we got there. I asked how long they had been waiting and they said over 40 minutes. Decided to get an uber to the location to pick up the car. Even then there was one guy working the counter and had to wait in line about an hour. Car was not maintained. While driving in remote Colorado without cell reception the tire blew. When I inspected the tire you could tell it was way past its life. I changed the tire myself and when I called Fox to explain to get a new car, they wanted me to take the tire to Firestone to get it inspected to determine the cause of the blowout. They also said I would have to pay for another car to be shipped to Denver to exchange the one I was currently in. Believe the 1 star reviews. The cheap comes out expensive.

Great experience from start to finish. I first rented for 3 days not knowing how long I would need it for. I was upgraded for free to a better (bigger and brand new) car then I paid for because they didn't have a car in my size. I ended up needing to stay in FL for 3 weeks. I was told it would be cheaper to make a new reservation instead of extending the existing one. I returned the car after 3 days and immediately went to pick up my new car. They told me I could keep the car I had if I paid extra 20 for early pick up or I could come back an hour later to get a car in my size. I waited for an hour, came back and got another car. They were able to accommodate my request for a specific make and model. The whole experience was hassle free and very positive. I arrived early morning and there was only one person ahead of me the first time, and no one the second time. I also followed their rules and paid attention to their terms. They will charge you for things like early return, late return, extending the car, etc. so if you want to keep the cost down, just follow their rules.

I liked it because of the price and the vehicle they gave me. Also they had this system where you could prepay for the many toll roads instead of paying a penalty. It probably cost more than the tolls ( who knows) but gave me one less thing to think about. The only negative thing was the long line to sign contract and be assigned a vehicle.

I came early around 6:15 am on Sunday and was out in 30 minutes. Get there early there aren't a lot of customer service people. The car was great, new, clean Toyota Rav 4 with only 2000 miles on it. I loved the car. I returned the car Monday, the next day at 5pm. The return was expedient and only a 10 minute wait for the shuttle. The price was outstanding.

Terrible. Period. Rental car companies have many regulations for a reason and for good reason so always be sure to know policies before you choose a rental company. I was very aware and prepared, but not for a $400 deposit as I was originally told $200 (for debit card users). The shuttle drivers unfriendly and seem bothered to be there. When I got to the Fox Rental location it was more like a run down warehouse. The worst part was the card machine come up with an error and the lady helping me ran the card again. Same issue and then I was told I could not use the card because it was run too many times. I left without a car to seek a better rental company.

Long line to pick our car up that we already paid for in advance, reps try to upsell you on BS and then get irritated when you tell them no. They try to get you to buy gas from them and then when you say no they tell you its hard to get gas on way back to the airport lol ..We drove all over the place and used a Q TANK that week so our fill up cost before we dropped off the car was 18.00$ but nice try lady.. Lady also told us to bring a reciept back for gas to "prove" we filled up within 5 miles of airport. Dropped car off guys in parking garage were super cool and said didn't need a receipt lol like 1 mile is gonna affect a full tank of gas.... We will go back to dollar or hertz where we are treated like adults that know what we are doing thanks!

I was hesitant after reading the reviews but went in with a positive attitude. I was pleasantly surprised. My agent was very polite and friendly. She assisted and answered all questions. She assisted with routes and toll pass. Return was easy and again staff was great. Wait time is dependent on those ahead of you and their experience with renting a car. If they have a lot of questions be prepared to wait longer.

I got worried about renting from Fox after seeing so many terrible reviews, but I have to say that my experience was much better than I had expected. I traveled to Denver this past week and upon arriving to Fox, the line was fairly small and only took about 15 minutes for my turn. We got a good Jeep which lasted an entire tank of gas driving to and from both Colorado Springs and Boulder, AND back. Drop off was a little different than most places and the wait was about 20 minutes but it wasn’t all that bad. I wasn’t pressured to buy any add-ons, as I was only asked once. Best part about all of this was that the shuttle from the airport and to the airport was QUICK. Absolutely no wait time. All in all, for the price, it exceeded my expectations.

I will never ever rent from this company again. They have a lot of hidden fees. We drove through ONE single toll on accident (not from the area) that cost $4.30. That turned into a $58 fee. I got a letter in the mail saying I owed about 20$ (4$ fee+ 15$ fee for a toll) then I logged on to the website and it said $60 fee. I was not late on the payment or anything. I tried to call and ask what this was for and goodluckkkkk! You’ll be listening to a machine talk at you instead of a real person. The car cost me $560 for THREE days plus the 60$ fee so over $600. I rented the cheapest car on the website and it was supposed to be $32/day. It may look cheap online.... but go with a different company. It will save you in the end!

I would give less than one star if I could. We rent cars on a consistent basis and this is the worst customer experience of our lives. They charge an absurd fee daily for returning your car EARLY. We would understand if they did not refund for days you’ve prepaid, but to charge an additional fee? Makes absolutely no sense. Desk agents were extremely rude and each one of them told us a different fee for completely different reasons. Lastly, we waited on the shuttle at the airport at least 30 minutes. Just truly an awful experience all the way around. Spend the extra few dollars and rent with a reputable company with an iota of respect for their customers.

I just paid $40 for going through 2 tolls that had a total cost of $9.30. You charged me a extra $30 for a “administrative fee”. I explained to you at the counter I went through two tolls. DONT rent car from here unless you are ready to wait at least 2 hours. We waited for 3.5 hours. Came in at midnight and came out @3:30 AM. It ruined my next day. One day of precious vacation day ruined. On top of it received bill of $105 administration charge + actual toll @25 for 7 toll . Totally rubbish....

SCAMMERS! I'm giving them 1 star because 0 stars isn't an option. I waited in line for over an hour to speak to an agent at the Tampa Airport. Many people were walking away angry because they were running out of cars. The agent told me that my reservation had expired because it was 3 hours and 5 minutes after my scheduled pick-up time and they keep the reservation for only 3 hours. It didn't seem to matter that I had been in line for over an hour. He was happy to give me a car that was $100 more than the car I had reserved. He tried to sell the "Tolls Package" for $50. He told me about all of the tolls around Tampa and that it's a real necessity. No, I didn't buy it. I easily avoided the few tolls that exist. He tried to sell extra insurance. No. He tried to sell a half tank of gas. No. Then he charged a $150 deposit. They also charge $250 if the car is dirty when you return it. How dirty? I don't know. This was a terrible experience! I've rented from other companies at TPA and have never had any problems. Avoid Fox at all costs! I will NOT be returning!

I can't give a negative star so that's why the 1 star is given. There are so many things wrong with these people. First let start out by the long lines. I waited in line for 45 minutes before I even got my rental. When I got there the long line was already formed. First red flag!!! Then they charge your card $500.00 for a deposit. I questioned as to the reason when I got to the counter and I was told that people with low credit card balances had been stealing cars so now its a rule to charge 500.00 and if you have a limit over 500.00 then they don't believe you would steal the car. Anyway.... While I was out of town, I had gotten to someone's house at 9:20 pm, parked and tried to pull the key out of the ignition.(I had a 2016 Toyota Camry.) The key would not come out. I called the number on my invoice and was directed to roadside assistance. I held on for 2 hours. I have the screenshot to prove! After a rep got on the phone, we were suddenly disconnected after like 6 minutes. I held for 2 hours with no issues and finally the rep gets on the phone and conveniently the call drops. He decides to text me 10 minutes later. After we went back and forth via text from 11pm until 12:30pm looking for a locksmith to come and take the key out, an entirely different rep takes over the text and seems to be misinformed. Once i correct her and let her know that she has been provided the incorrect info, and screenshot her the prior conversations, the sassy rep got petty and was actually arguing back and forth with me via text. It was finally decided by 1:30 am more than 4 hours since I called and waited for 2 hours on hold, that I was then on my way to another fox rental place in North Miami. This was a nightmare. If I was not enclosed inside of a yard at the house that I was at, I would have been in serious trouble and danger. The response from the second rep was uncalled for and was not handled properly at all. Even when I got to the other place to pick up the new car, nobody was in the front as I waited in a space in the pitch dark after 2am. Finally someone comes from the back as though he was napping and was also rude. I believe that this is the training that is given because if you read the other reviews, you can see where others have also mentioned the poor customer service. You may need to pay a little extra for a vehicle with someone else, but it's worth it in the end. All of these people on the reviews are not lying. The 2-3 good reviews are more than likely from employees themselves. Don't believe the hype. Run away from this place. The fish stinks from the head down. This has to be the training that is given and the behavior that is allowed.

Do NOT use this car rental service!!! It may be cheaper then the rest but there is a reason it is cheaper. Waited in line forever to pick up the car. The customer service representatives were rude and incredibly slow! There are fees which are not brought up until you pick up the car. I reserved a compact car, when I got there it was a wait for a smaller car but we could take a minivan. Ok no big deal. The customer service representative gave is the key and said stall 6. We get to stall 6 and no minivan. We had to walk around the lot looking for the car. The car smelled of smoke. Very dirty. The gas tank was only half full. Looked like it was returned and not touched until I rented it. I should have gone back in but it was already such a hassle and no way was I waiting in line again to deal with the rude customer service representatives. Just chalking it up to NEVER renting from there again!!

After reserving online. We showed up to get our car. They ran our card, took payment, and reserved the deposit. All of this before telling us that they CHANGED OUR CAR!! They would not be honoring the car we reserved but they charged the same amount, which was DOUBLE the rental price for the car we actually got. 1st off the shuttle was late even picking me up with a reservation the line isn't even worth it no fast service at all the agent insisted I pay for the daily toll in Denver Colorado the fast lane is optional dont need the pass he tried to really sale me on something took a 400 dollar deposit for a debit card if you have a credit card use it or I'll recommend staying away from this place all together its Tuesday I turned the rental in Sunday at 5am and I still haven't recieced my deposit back yet this place is terrible

To be honest, I wouldn't give this company 1 star. I got inside and a man and his infant child and wife had been waiting for almost an hour for their car. I was at the top of the line and the manager finished with a customer looks at me and says "someone will be right with you" then proceeds to go into an office where I later catch him lounging and talking with someone he works with. The woman that finally helped me, I think I met bumblebees that have been friendlier, but the topper was that even though I made a reservation with my debit card, they wouldn't rent to me because I didn't have a major credit card. No where on their site does it state they don't except debit cards. So I took shuttle back to the airport and called several rental car companies that DID take debit cards and WHALLA rented a different car and even the price was better. Go to Dollar Rent a car. I would NEVER recommend Fox Car Rental to anyone. Best of luck to the customers that did use them. Hopefully you won't run into any of their tricks and rude unhelpful behavior. Because when I boarded the shuttle to get a new car so did another customer because his rental fell through for a different reason. But if Fox can turn away customers so easily they must NOT care.

My family and I had a terrible experience with FOX Rent A Car in Denver, CO. We will never use them...IT IS NOT WORTH IT. The waiting area was very hot, dirty and the waiting line… Not to mention. We stood in line for over an hour, once we reached the customer service agent he was very rude and said, “Well why did you wait in line?”. He had us wait a bit longer and was not helpful, he was very upset because we had reserved an SUV not a car (which would not work for us) and we questioned him. Like if he was the customer not us, he said that he was not able to help us and we should just leave without any explanation. Trying not to let this event ruin our vacation. We took the shuttle back to the airport and found AVR very helpful, without reservations we were able to get an SUV to start our vacation. Needless to say, we spent over three hours of our vacation getting a rental car. Thanks to Fox! DON’T RENT FROM FOX, IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

Now the 3-star review, Shuttle took almost an hour to pick us up from the airport which was a pain, once we arrived to their location there was a huge line that took us about another 45 minutes to navigate. This is where my three stars come from, mostly the shuttle wait.

Beware of this place!! We reserved our car rental in a package deal from the airline we flew. After a 6 hour flight with an infant, we were greeted with a line of about 10 people. I’ve rented numerous cars throughout the years and have waited in lines longer than this for a car but it’s always gone quickly. However, an hour had gone by and the line barely moved. My baby needed a diaper change and was crying, we had several bags, a car seat and a stroller. I was at my wits end and becoming very frustrated. There were two agents that worked very very slowly and were chit chatting with customers and offering upgrades. All the other car rental companies had no lines. I asked a man to watch my bags for me and walked straight up to the Thrifty counter and the agent gave me a better/upgraded vehicle at the same price that I had reserved at Fox. The entire transaction took maybe 5 minutes. The agent said I was the fourth Fox customer she had in the last 20 minutes. This is just unfathomable that a company can run like this. I will never rent from Fox again.

I rented a car online for a trip to Tampa, when i got to the kiosk to pick up my car it had bald tires. they then put me into another car. They then billed my credit card $150.00 for the Gas i never used in the car that had bald tires. (i never even opened that car) I will never rent from Fox again, Very dishonest practice. Let me just say... if i could rate this place with negative stars, I would: after walking up to the TSA line, I realized my wallet was missing from my purse. In an effort to find it I called every where I had been including Fox’s. I called Fox’s lost and found department at minimum of 20 times with no one answering. I called the customer service center, and had them leave a message with the Tampa Airport location’s service people with no return call to say they had checked the car I rented. I am LUCKY that there are good people in this world, because they OBVIOUSLY do not inspect their cars. I received a message from a kind person today saying they FOUND MY WALLET IN THE CAR. HAD THEY ANSWERED THEIR FREAKING PHONE OR RETURNED MY CALLS I WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO RETRIEVE MY WALLET FROM THE CAR AND BEEN SPARED THE TSA EMBARRASSMENT. More so, they didn’t even inspect the car for the next person... shame shame Fox Rental Cars. I will never rent from you all again.

OMG would give you ZERO stars if I could! The agent Mayans Manchanda was HORRIBLE! He asked me if I had a problem when I couldn’t understand what a sunshine pass was. Then when I tried to pay all of a sudden there’s a $200 deposit! Then when I paid he said we can’t take your credit card be it’s a debit card even though I use it all the time as a credit card. I could now get a car but only if O give them $400 and it’s going to be a minivan. Went to Dollar got the car I wanted deposit $200 no problem with my car! M

We arrived at Fox rent a car right in time for our scheduled car pickup. There was a huge line with only 4 counter employees. We waited 1 hour and 35 minutes.....ridiculous. The employees were helping others for over 20 minutes, chatting about personal things instead of being professional. They did not apologize for the wait, they showed no sense of urgency. Our car had dings and dents all over it. We were renting a suv, they gave us the keys and told us it’s in the middle and the spot number was wrong. Horrible service and very unprofessional. I gave them one star because the car was needed and was great!

I guess I am happy I didn't read the reviews prior to booking. I went cheap and didn't even know who I was getting my car from. I am embarrassed to say I didn't check until I arrived. But I had zero line. Walked right up, Kevin was my agent and he did all the expected things every rental place does like selling insurance. I asked him about tolls and after asking me where I was going he said it's not necessary. He was right. I spent three bucks the whole week. I asked about an upgrade and he changed me from a Kia to a Chrysler 300 for ten bucks a day. I bought the thirty dollars prepaid gas only because my experience with gas stations near airports are frustrating. I only used a half tank if gas so I probably over paid for gas, but didn't for the easy return at four a.m. Kevin was friendly, helpful, and quick. When he finished with me I asked where and how do I get the car. Instead of just pointing, he actually walked me around the corner to the escalator and said...right through those doors. The person checking out my car was equally friendly and quick. He gave me great directions to the city I was headed to. The car worked great. Upon my return I found the process easy to navigate. A nice man Patrick was outside at the drop off and he told me I could just leave my car there. I asked how to get to the terminal and he smiled and pointed twenty feet from us to a bug door with Terminal on it. He joked with me and I walked away. I was inside and up the escalator headed to the train and I heard Patrick called out Miss, Miss. I turned to see him running to me with my phone in his hand. I left it on the dash. Leaving my phone would have ruined my trip home. He was my hero. Honestly, who is kind like that anymore. It was a struggle for him to get to me, yet he did. I will rent from Fox every time in the future. Thank you Kevin at check in and Patrick at drop off.

Upon picking up my rental, I was given a free upgrade after discovering that my initial car choice was unavailable. Pick up was smooth, as was the drop off. At the end of the day, I would highly recommend Fox to anyone looking for a rental in Denver as their prices are easily the lowest around!

There are now 7 people in line as it seems to take 35mins per person to get a rental!! Advantage, ace, executive all seem to be able to get their customers in and out in 10mins or less!!! Never ever ever will I book with this company- and I would say from the faces in line you just annoyed a lot of people with such terrible service.

I've rented from fox several times while in Denver . I've never had any real issue. The only thing is , sometimes you have a long wait in line . Actually they usually upgrade me for my patience. Cars are nice, price is great and they accept debit cards to rent. My only suggestion would be to determine who in the long lines has a reservation and what time and allow then to go through first. I did talk to quite a few people who didnt have reservations and were ahead of us . But the cars are nice, service is good , price is good , so a little patience and you'll be driving in no time

If I could give them 0 stars I would. They gave us a car that the key wouldn't work work. It started when we got the car but wouldn't unlock the door once we parked... they sent road side assistance to unlock door then key would start the car. Rode side service left and they told me to call customer service again. I was put on hold for 30 minutes only to be told my only option was to get the car to a fire stone. AND then if Fire stone cant start the car I am to ride with tow truck 35 minutes back to fox car rental. This has taken more then a half day! Not the way I wanted to spend a long weekend! I absolutely would never use fox car rental or recommend them to anyone. Needless to say the customer service was completely terrible.

We traveled from chicago to Tampa and we experienced the worse service ever. Your company was completely sold out of cars for 15 patrons including me then left with the options to cancel (isn't beneficial considering we are from out of town and planned to explore the city and go to the beaches) or rent from a different merchant which will charge higher prices and will not honor the price we reserved with your company as well as send in a receipt in order to be reimbursed. Lured me in with a nice online price where I paid up front. Needed to add an extra day, they obliged but proceeded to slap on a bunch of nickle and dime charges. My clerk also threw on a bunch of insurance I told him not to add, my bad, I should of read the contract closer. Still bad form though.

If I could give 0 stars I would!! This place doesn't even deserve a 1 Star. Here is our experience so far and this is only day 1 * 25 min wait for a shuttle to come. The driver was not helpful with the bags. *Looong line of people waiting for a rental. Only 1 employee working and the others just randomly walk out of their office and go back in, but aren't actually helping the customers. * A lady just walked by, said she had 6 people ahead of her and it took her an hour. *We've already been waiting for over an hour and we aren't even half way yet... *Restroom stalls only 2 and filthy...!! * I will update our total wait time when we finally get a vehicle.

Longest process to get in a car. Loooong wait for the shuttle, no bodies to answer the phone, skeleton crew to fill paperwork. From the airport curb to sitting in the car? About 1 1/2h. Return was a bit faster but then same issue with waiting for the shuttle: allow yourself plenty of time to get to the airport. First time / last time.

I rented a vehicle from fox and three days after I returned the vehicle and I was still getting charges from them on my credit card. So far there has been three separate different rates charged to my card and I have been calling their customer service number since yesterday with no success. They have twice put me on hold. For more than 30 minutes the first time and 47 the second time and then disconnect you while you are waiting to get through. I won't ever rent from them again. Oh and when I did my walk around the vehicle to check for damage before taking the car, which there was, the guy refused to put his full name on the sheet. He put only initials that were barely legible. I found this very shady, not to mention the form they use for you to confirm condition of the car was laughable as a serious business form. He also instructed me to only mark scratches that were longer than a pen and dents that were bigger than a golf ball. This is ridiculous as it never stated that on the paper.

After a long flight from the West Coast I arrived at Fox and there were 25-30 people waiting in line, and the line wasn't moving. I asked one of the agents where the manager was (ostensibly to help customers) and he said "the manager was VERY busy". Obviously, customer service is NOT important to this company. I rented from Budget. I will NEVER EVER rent from his horrible company.

These reviews had me nervous to say the least but I couldn't have had a smoother experience. I rent cars on a regular basis and typically I stick with Enterprise but I decided to give Fox a try and I'm glad I did. I reserved a sports car and received a 2018 Dodge Challenger with 17,000 miles in great shape and at a great price. Pickup (about 10pm) was painless (READ YOUR CONTRACTS AND KNOW WHAT YOU'RE SIGNING) and drop off was quick and easy. I reserved without insurance and never once felt pressured to add insurance, a toll pass, or pre-paid gas despite all being offered. Would rent from Fox again.

Terrible Terrible Terrible!!!! It’s cheaper but not worth the savings. We waited in line 2 hours to get our cat we reserved two weeks in advance. The car was all scratched up which I didn’t care about except I had to take pictures of all of them because I was afraid the would blame me. I wanted a compact car and they gave me a big SUV. It’s harder to park and has bad gas mileage. The worst part was the car had been smoked it. We complained after our two hour wait at 1:30 am and ended up just taking the car because we where exhausted.

Where do I begin with this company. I would give it no stars if that was an option. We arrive at Denver airport and wait 20 minutes to be picked up just to get to the rental area. Once we finally arrive things are looking bad. There appears to be the same wait out front to catch the bus back to the airport. Once inside it takes close to an hour to eventually get a vehicle. Getting excited now we finally are released from the captivity of the airport and begin our vacation. Wait there’s more to this nightmare. We get our vehicle which is lightly used with 66k miles on it. Take a walk around this gem and we notice everyone else must have used this thing as a bumper car. The front bumper was flailing in the wind and the rear bumper looked as if it was used on a bulldozer. Guess this isn’t so bad don’t have to worry about creating any new damage lol. My guess is that this company would have no idea anyway. So we finally get to return this toad to the prison release work program company. I in fear of getting to the terminal in time because I know this will not be a short wait for the bus rush out of the vehicle. Oh did I mention they make you return the vehicle in the rear of the building only to haul your luggage around and through the building just to catch their non-air conditioned bus. I digress on that subject. I’m my haste to get away from Fox I left a fleece jacket in the back seat. Once past security I realize my error and figure I will call Fox when I get to the terminal and they can ship it to me. WRONG AGAIN. I attempt to contact Fox and am redirected to a voicemail for the lost and found. The message asks for the rental agreement number, dates of rental, and description of article left behind. Well I give all information that was asked for up to and including a superb description of my favorite fleece. Would you have guessed it by now? Yep probably did never heard from Fox after two days. Well I am quite sure this is futile at this point and one of their paroles are very fashionably rocking my jacket at work by now. I call twice more leaving messages and fill out an online request as well. Yep once again no response... shocker! So I call for a fifth time, it’s now four days after the rental return and I know damn well I’m never seeing this jacket again. Non the less just trying to get Fox to acknowledge me now has become priority. After waiting on hold for thirty minutes I give up and leave my number for call back. A small miracle happens and a real live person finally speaks with me. This was the end of my excitement. The live person tells me someone will finally call me from Denver and advised me she can’t help locate my jacket because she’s not in Denver. After much persistence by myself to have a better answer she places me on hold to maybe help me? Wouldn’t you know it after an hour on the phone she disconnected and my line was dead. End of the story : ( I finally got a call from Fox after five days all to tell me they could not find my jacket. Chalk that one up to I should have know better and after the first 10 mins of waiting I should have went to another rental company while waiting at the airport. Lesson learned stay away from this company unless no one else will rent to you.

I'm 12 and my family had a horrible experience with this rip off company. All it deserves is zero stars. My family had to argue to get one of their best cars which isn't even that good. Even the employees try their best to be rude. Waited more than an hour and other people wait even longer :C. Why must fox ruin everyone's lives? Worst company I have ever encountered.

The only complaint is the line when you rent. It's a discount car rental place so just expect to wait about 45 minutes to an hour when you rent. Otherwise, they upgraded our car to an SUv at no cost and the rate was really good. No unexpected expenses. Dropoff was super easy. I'd rent there again as long as I'm not in a hurry.

The staff just seemed not to care. I have never rented a car that required this much time. The line was short but I was there far too long. If this was somewhere else I might be more generous but this is in the fifth largest airport in the country so I expected more. The staff here should be the best the company has to offer but I felt they just didn't care. As other mentioned earlier, it was a long wait for the shuttle. When we did finally get there three unused shuttles were parked off to the side.

Looking to rent a car from here? Don't do it! Run away!! 1) To begin about our experience they take forever to pick you up at the airport, our bus didn't have AC, and the building look like an old rundown warehouse. 2) the wait in line was terrible too. it took almost 2 hours to get to talk to someone, and when we got up there she didn't know how to type! While we were waiting to get our car there were flies everywhere. 3)When we got our car they said they just washed it, but it was filthy inside and out, there were crumbs everywhere. We bought the toll pass for $48 and they charged us twice for it. We called the customer service number on our paper, and it was not the correct number. We searched the number, called the correct customer service, and they tried to switch us to another phone number that was doing nothing but offering free products. If we could give a below zero star rating we would. Meanless to say DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a great rental car for a really good (cheap) price here through car rental 8. Only $84 for three days! Not too shabby, I booked an economy car (Toyota, Yaris) but they didn't have one like it when I arrived for pick up so they upgraded me to a Hyundai Accent Hatchback...for no extra cost. The only reason I give two stars is the price was decent compared to the bigger car rental companies. On the other hand the full size car we got after waiting for about 1/2 hour was damaged on absolutely every section and also had a loud noise coming from the back passengers side tire area while driving. I believe it was a wheel bearing problem. Not real safe for going through the mountains from Denver. The car was also very dirty with bugs all over the windshield so was not washed between last renter. When driving out at the attendant booth there was no one there. Just a note that they were on break and to take your own pictures of the car for record before leaving which we did. You would think they would have someone there full time especially when most likely only paying minimum wage for their own good. On dropping the car off there was also no one to check the car in and several of us waited but no one showed up with no indication of what to do. Finally I had to go in to get someone after 1/2 hour wait. Will not rent from Fox again they are way to wish washy. Not good business even for their own sake.

The pick-up process was tedious and not very efficient in Denver. The persistent sales tactics made pick-up frustrating, especially since our pick-up was very late at night and we were already tired. If a customer says “no” to the extras being offered, then it would be nice for that to be honored. We were continually pressured, which left us not wanting to use this company again. The company also seemed unorganized. We reserved a car seat, which we had to go find and pick through a cluttered space to find a clean and suitable seat. We also had to wander through the parking lot to find our rental, as no instructions were given and no employees were available to help us. It was overall an unfortunate experience and we will not be using Fox again in the future.

Anyone posting a positive review about this company is likely a fake customer working on behalf of the company to counter all of the legitimate, negative reviews. Alternatively, I suppose they might be an actual customer who just doesn’t realize that he/she got scammed. Let me summarize my experience. I booked my car on Priceline and paid ahead. The charge was about $180 for four days. When I returned the car I was hit with OVER ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS in hidden fees. The prices they advertise are misleading. It’s criminal. Thank God I filled the car up with gas right before I returned it. Otherwise, they would have filled it up and kindly charged me $7.99 per gallon.

The Fox facility in Denver is a glorified warehouse, that is dark and run down. Extremely SLOW and painful experience. I wasn't very optimistic about how my experience with Fox would be after reading the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, I had to wait a few minutes for the shuttle. Yes, it didn't have AC for the short ride to the rental center. But there was a very short line and I didn't have to wait at all to be attended to. The rental process wasn't any longer than other rental places I've been to. Overall I was very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to use Fox again in the future.

Upon waiting 1 hour+ for the FOX shuttle we arrived at FOX rental car pick up. The staff was incredibly rude to person after person. The staff would be laughing about the wait and walk away from the desk in front of customers to go joke and talk to one another. After another 1+ hour wait to speak with someone just to get a car, our staff member also walked away while getting us a car to go joke with friends. We were given a car with out a lock button or unlock button, the car had shifting issues, the seats had holes and rips in most of them. Never again will we try FOX.

So after reading the many negative reviews online, I was strongly considering eating the cost of my rental pre-payment & booking elsewhere. I ultimately decided not to, and took the chance renting with Fox. Ultimately, the experience was exactly what I paid for. We saved a decent amount of money compared to the other rental companies & got a car that worked, had low miles and was well worth what we did pay. If you have small children I would say "no" as the wait was very long for the shuttle & from what I saw, so was the wait in line for some people. (We had absolutely no wait). It really just depends on the date and time that you are flying in. If I was coming back to Denver without my toddler, I would rent with Fox. Again, you get what you pay for.

The most horrible customer service I have ever had at a car rental. The girl helping us had a major attitude problem. She left half way through the process for a good 10 minutes. For what reason I have no idea. When I asked for her name she refused to give it. When I was waiting for her return I overheard the people next to me. Their person was telling them they would need a toll pass. I heard what roads they were going to be on and I told them those roads have no tolls. He was scamming them. Never will I rent from Fox ever again. I canceled my car and went elsewhere.

I arrived on Sunday and it took almost 2 hours to get a car. I had reserved a 4 door Wrangler, but none were available. I got the first car available, and it was dirty inside and smelled like pot. But I drove to the hotel and discovered that the suv I had was not roadworthy. It had low pressure in all 4 tires, and when I stopped at a service station to fill them up I found that the front two tires were so worn that they were showing steel. I drove on surface streets to the hotel and called Fox. I was told that they didn't have another vehicle, but I could drive back to the airport location and wait for another available vehicle. I parked at the hotel and Uber saved my travel plans.

After waiting for nearly 1.5 hours to be seen by one of two clerks working on Labor Day weekend, we were told the mini van we had rented 4 months in advance had been given to someone else. They upgraded us to an Expedition at no additional cost. However, it's only 2 years old and is the nastiest car I've ever seen. The windows were filthy, duct tape holding parts of the driver seat on, dirt all over the dashboard, food on the ceiling, and it was dented and scratched up all over the outside. The absolute worst part though was the mildew/musty smell inside the vehicle. We had to spend the first 30 minutes of the trip documenting all the damage so we wouldn't be held liable. The more we drove the vehicle the more issues we found. We also spent a portion of our trip cleaning the car inside and out. Needless to say the money we saved renting from this company was not worth the wait, dirtiness, or issues we encountered. Do not rent from them.

Rented a full size car from Fox at the Tampa airport early November 2018. We reserving the car online, I agreed to an estimated total of $219. When collecting the car, the agent lied to me about a small fee of $13.20 as added insurance and a free second driver. That was charged daily and added $52.80 plus additional taxes. With prepaid gas our total was $349. They also pointed out damage on the exterior of the car and neglected to tell me the drivers seat was broken (the seat control was broken off) and my wife was unable to drive the car when needed. The seats were also heavily stained. They are very friendly but have deceptive up-selling and poor quality vehicles. Will not use them again.

Gave us a car with tires that were WAY over inflated and the back rear tire was just about flat. The indicator light was on so clearly no one had checked over the vehicle before putting us in a dangerous situation. Have been on hold for over an hour trying to see how to get the tire fixed. Oh, and no windshield wiper fluid. Won't rent from Fox again. I didn't even want to give one star but I had to to post.

Everything seemed to go smoothly, rented with them as they were cheaper than the alternatives. Make sure you don't go through any tolls though, they charge you $15 extra for EACH toll. Looking at my bill now, we went through 2 tolls that were $0.78 and two that were $2.03 with $60 in "administrative fees" ...yup, we paid $15.78 for a 78 CENT toll and $17 for a $2 toll. What a rip off. No wonder they are so cheap they nickle and dime you.

Ended up being charged $520 for 8 days when I reserved it the price was $300. The check in process took over an hour and a half and by the time I got to the counter I didn’t want to rebook somewhere else. With the hidden fees that you’ll pay it’s worth choosing a different rental company to start off with. 0/10 would not recommend.

Will never rent a vehicle from them again. Took 1hr of our time to get anything to drive. And it cost over $800 to rent a Ford explorer. They added money at every turn. After 30 min. Of paper work at checkout then they say its additional $400 if you use a debit card . We even did most of it online and prices went up double when we got there. That's just a few problems. Customer service sucked as well.

I rented a car for a weekend with weather in the 70’s and at the return they are saying that the car has hail damage and ask if I took any photos before hand to prove that the car didn’t have damage. Booked a SUV back in September for the day after Christmas. Arrive to collect vehicle & get told there wasn't one available. Was instead told i would be using a Kia Soul (a compact car). There was a mid size SUV sitting on there forecourt, but the young man serving me told me that one was already booked & they had nothing else available. Really? I book a specific vehicle 3 months ago & yet apparently the only SUV on there forecourt was already spoken for. Not only was i forced to take the Kia Soul (since it was the day after Christmas & i was on a schedule i was not able to turn it down), but they also originally charged me over $100 for the day. I did ask to speak with a manager & was told i would have to email them as there was no one available. Did file a complaint with there headquarters & was given a half price discount upon return of the car. But will definitely never rent from Fox car rental again. Terrible, terrible service & expensive for what you get.

Now I’m waiting for my 1000$ deposit back which posted on my billing which should have never been posted but pending. Never received an emailed receipt like requested either. Never again !

First off, let me say that I rarely, if ever post bad reviews. I usually will pan things off to a bad day, or a you get what you paid for situation. But none of those apply here. I have been renting cars both in the USA and abroad for years and have never encountered what I have just experienced. We reserved a car through Orbitz (usually a very reliable third party app) months ago, and were quoted a price. We did not prepay, as I have never had to prepay before in my life. When we got to the terminal, it was announced that unless cars were reserved AND prepaid, there might not be any cars (this is at midnight, by the way, after a long trip to Denver from Florida). We get to the counter, and are then, and only then, were told that we needed to pay extra toll fees AND extra deposits, taking our fee to over $1,000, which we did not have available on one card. As we were trying to work something out to split payments, we were abruptly told by the MANAGER that we were through and they would not rent us a car. As I sit in an Uber to my hotel, my wife is currently online looking for another car. Please, please , please- take heed to this warning! This review, and the others like here, are the rule, not the exception. You get what you pay for with this company, and they are by no means worth it.

Arrived at shuttle pick up at 11:55am. Was not picked up until 12:20 pm while Avis, Hertz, National all came by 3 times. Got here at 12:30 pm. Now It is 1:05 pm. I am maybe halfway to the counter and Thea’s optimistic side of me. Now I remember this might be the second or third time suffering. Thank goodness I am not traveling with kids today. Save $15. Lose 2 hours. Fox Rental Car. The save is not worth it. Seriously

As seems to be the dominant experience, I waited more than 90 min in line to pick up my rental. The concern is that you’re then likely late for your reservation by the time you get to the desk, and their policy states they can cal you a no-show and drop your reservation. (Don’t know if they enforce that). But frequently they apparently run out of cars as well. Bottom line: unless you REALLY EWS to save a few dollars, not with the pain and frustration. At least adjust your expectations.

Two stars is being generous. When we arrived to pick up our car, there were perhaps 8 people in line ahead of us. It took us a solid hour to reach the single agent on duty. They spend significant time with each renter...up-selling them on various add-ons. This _might_ be OK, had there been more than one agent on duty, mid-day. There was some sort of mix-up on their end, and when we tried to pick up our van/SUV-sized vehicle for a family of 4 with a week's worth of luggage (not to mention me, a 6'6" guy), they tried to give us a compact (perhaps sub-compact, I missed what was said as I was trying to entertain our two kids who were bored out of their minds by this point). My wife had to argue with them that she had reserved a larger vehicle, to which they eventually acquiesced. When our outgoing flight was cancelled at the end of our trip, I called their support line to extend our rental an extra day. It took more than 40 minutes on hold (at 10:00pm) before the call was answered. They needed to speak to my wife, since the rental was in her name. When she questioned why the one additional day would include something more than $50 in "fees", the agent (a guy (unfortunately I didn't catch his name), who had been a jerk when speaking to me, before speaking to her) hung up on her. This forced us to call back, spending another 30 minutes on hold before the call was answered. Fortunately this time by a less-jerk-y woman. At this point, we didn't care what the "fees" were, we just wanted to go to sleep, so we took whatever was offered. Suffice it to say, I'll never, *ever* again use Fox rentals. For what it's worth, the car we eventually received (a mini van) was in excellent condition and performed flawlessly. So I'll grant a couple of stars for that. **Edit 5/5/2019 to add** Removing one star because... So we just got the bill for the tolls we encountered on our trip. There were no cash toll options where we were in FL, it was either use a SmartTag-like transceiver, or they record your license plate and send you a bill. You can either "rent" the transceiver from Fox for $15/day, or you can opt to have your license recorded and pay the tolls later. We opted to pay later. We just received the $50 bill from Fox. They charge $15 per toll "administrative fee", plus the toll amount. So doing the math, we went through three tolls costing $5, and paid $45 "administrative fees". Had we opted to rent the transceiver for the week, it would have cost us $90 plus tolls. So we made the right call. But $45 in fees on $5 in transactions is offensive. I will never, ever, ever, ever give Fox my business again. There really ought to be laws on this kinda of behavior. Or at least cash-toll options on roads that choose to charge tolls. But that's got nothing to do with Fox, so I digress. Avoid.

Do not go here. We booked our car online for $230 for 4 days. After standing in line for over an hour we found out there's additional chargers including a $150 down payment. The person helping us was so confusing and insisted its state law that we get insurance. We ended up paying $450.

Gave them a try as all other rental cars were 2x more expensive. NOT worth it. Line to get car was :40 long and about twice that when we dropped car off. People waited :40 to get shuttle bus back to airport, and then It had no AC (102 outside). Driver couldn’t be bothered to help lift luggage up the stairs. Bus crowded and absolutely miserable. Will never use again.

I tried to call for 3 hours before my flight to let them know my travel plans had been delayed and did not hear back on call back until right before my flight took off to let them know. This experience was abysmal. Even this single star is too favorable a rating. Will not be working with Fox in Denver, or anywhere else they may operate. I showed up with a reservation, yet waited in line for over an hour to speak to an employee. Since all or most of these rentals are set up ahead of time by reservation, management should be very well informed of the volume of business to expect at any given time. The employees showed no sense of urgency, or any desire to keep operations running smoothly, which gives me the sense that this was simply business-as-usual. There appears to be a complete disregard by management and employees for customers' time and dignity. Finally speaking with an employee didn't alleviate any of the frustration of the long wait. I could barely hear the person I was speaking to (after mentioning several times that I was having difficulty), and I had to guess at the content of their attempts to upsell and nickel-and-dime me. And, to ice the cake, they didn't have the car I reserved - I declined their offer to wait *even longer* while they investigated its potential availabi

Our experience with Fox car rental was very frustrating. Our $204.00 rental ballooned to $574.00 due to high pressure techniques to add on unneeded options and unexplained taxes and fees. The customer service representative I spoke with was neither polite or helpful, but she did put me in touch with a billing representative who was very helpful. Melinda took time to explain the data she had before her, but she also listened carefully to my concerns and was able to compensate us for half of an insurance fee that we did not need or want. In the end we felt that we had a fair resolution to our situation thanks to this wonderful representative. So, in summary, I believe this company has very flawed policies, but they were wise to hire Melinda. If you choose this company be sure to check all money transactions and be prepared to ignore the high pressure to purchase options that are not needed.

Our first experience with Fox was excellent! The manager Mike helped us out when we had issues with our card (our fault not theirs) and really went above and beyond to take care of our family. Our second trip was even better. We returned to fox again and upgraded our rental to a jeep which was really affordable and upon return the manager remembered us and helped us out again. He was so kind and really just an awesome guy. Going to be going here from now on.

This incident was after having tried repeatly at tampa airport to get a car that was already reserved in Fox system. (contract was shown to the guy) And the white guy (Kevin)keeps raising the price above my confirmed reservation, said he is the “corporate office, so you can’t contact anyone” Then tells us we have to wait an hour to re-enter another reservation that my wife made while we stood at the counter (now we have a another contract number with even lower pricing than yesterday” lol). Then Kevin says the reservation is canceled because our flight arrived late (3 hours) and we can’t “skip the line in the computer” but no one is in line at any of the four counters, but parking spaces and their employee in the garage says the garage is full of cars ready to rent. So we ask for a home office contact again and he says while pointing at his counter, “this is it we are a small company only three locations and this is the airport main office) and he still won’t honor either of our 2 rental contracts that Fox emailed us! We really don’t think he means to deliver terrible service but suspect he might possibly have some type of disorder like ???? so we rented from another company that is nationally recognized (we use this other company several times a year but Fox was cheaper, so another lesson learned the hard way) and the other company stated about this Fox counter employee” we hear this all the time about those guys and that guy is just a little ?” So then I took a photo of a Fox sign that stated who to contact with a problem. As I am walking away this Kevin runs thirty yards down the corridor screaming at me that I can’t take a photo. Gets into my space obstructing my way to my luggage and the elevators. This guy is possibly not “playing with a full deck” . Form your own conclusions but beware and forewarned of Fox in Tampa

The one attendant is slower than hell, keeps trying to upsell the rubes, and at the rate I'm going, I'm going to be here another hour. For 3 years now I’ve rented from Fox rent a car and only them, the process was smooth quick and easy(a little on the pricey side but overall great experience) ; that being said I do not know what happened. I will never again rent from Fox. Seems like they’re just trying to suck every penny possible from your pocket. I got charged $20 after calling a few hours early and being told there is no “Early return fee” because I had read a (RECENT) review that says they got charged an early fee. I show up and return the car 75 MINUTES early. I got charged $20. I informed the man(looked like a 14 year old kid behind the counter) there shouldn’t be an early fee because I called and asked ahead of time just to be sure. He said there is a 59 minute grace period for early returns even though over the phone they said you can turn it in a few hours earlier. I call the customer service number once again ask the same question got the same answer as before(you have a few hours to turn in early as long as it’s not 24 hours or more) I explained to the lady on the phone what was going on and she didn’t want to hear it, interrupted me and said if I was upset I needed to make a claim. Rude. I don’t care about the $20. POINT BLANK Fox : I’ll donate those $20 to you as my last dollars I’ll ever spend on your company seems like you need them more than you need a customer

Had a pleasant pick up experience with the representative Elijah for the rental car. Good customer service, explained everything patiently with me. I had the airport shuttle pick me up from the airport relatively quickly. (Sit at the front of the shuttle to get in line first at the facility) I will update when I drop off and charges ensued... *Note the deposit they charge your credit card is the $150 PLUS the charges for your reservation. They then refund the $150 after return. *Four stars right now are for all the things they try and add on to your reservation charges like toll service and extra insurance. Do you research of rental car coverage on your personal auto policy before picking up your rental, you don't necessarily need their extra coverage. Also, for the cleanliness of the facility. I get it, it keeps the price low, but meh. *updated after return: no problems with the return or being charged for any damages that were already on the car. Would use them again if needed

While nothing was wrong with the actual car (Ford fusion as promised), everything else about this place is sub-par. The shuttle from the airport - filthy with coasters/folded magazines supporting the front end of luggage racks. Yikes. The building was absolutely repulsive, women's bathroom both toilets clogged, unusable, trash everywhere. The staff at pick-up was in zero hurry, took us 45 minutes to get the car even though there was no line. They parked our car in the wrong place instead of bringing it to us (while we stood and watched), then couldn't find the keys. The two ladies helping us didn't explain anything and were VERY rude, terrible customer service. The lady at our counter mumbled something and disappeared for 10 minutes. No idea what was going on at this place. Rented here because of zero availability elsewhere, despite other negative reviews. I didn't think it would be quite that bad. OH it was.

Terrible service. Arrived in Orlando Airport and spent 30 minutes waiting to get the transfer from the Airport to their Office. When there, 1 hour and 20 minutes in the line waiting to LEARN they didn't have a car available anymore because I was late !!!! I was late because of them ! RENTERS BEWARE!!! YOU CAN'T DEPEND ON A RESERVATION HERE. Never will rent from this place again. Reserved a minivan 2 weeks prior to date. I got a confirmation #. Called the day before pick up to again confirm. Show up, no minivan! I got 5 people just arrived from out of town!!!! Not only did they not have my rental, but had NO cars for the at least 10 people behind me WITH RESERVATIONS. It cost me $230 more to rent one without a reservation somewhere else.

Fees included if you don’t know any better or fall to their trap, extra driver, car insurance, toll pass which I only came across one while in Denver which was easily avoided but counter person told me there were a lot of them, cost for them to fuel your car which they say is .10cents cheaper but only if you drop it off literally sputtering to drop off on fumes. Oh and then there was $180 dollars in taxes and fees that are not mentioned until you arrive at the counter, and a $150 dollar deposit. Lots of hidden BS with poor service. Highly DO NOT recommend this place. I’ll be going to a reputable company next time. If you want to take a chance, go for it. You can read many more reviews just like mine, wish I would’ve read them before booking. I suppose it’s the punishment for booking with third party company.

Prepare to wait over an hour to get your car. They don't care about you or your time, just money. Complete lack of customer service that the BBB should look into. The manger was no where in sight and they think twizzlers should make us forget one of the most wasteful moments of my life.

Very pleasantly surprised at the quality and service of this location. I was made to use this service by my company and expected the worst but I was very pleasantly surprised at what I got. The service rep was very friendly, fast and helpful. I think a lot of the bad reviews are from people who had crazy expectations or were looking for comps that were unreasonable. The vehicle I got was clean and very nice. I was out of there very quickly and returning was even faster. Be prepared to provide 2 phone numbers and your e-mail when you check in. Patrick at returns was awesome and took great care of me when returning my vehicle. I will definitely rent from them again.

The pick up vehicle will be long waiting and there are no A/C inside or driver didn’t chose to switch on looking at 15 people inside. The counters are super full and only 2-3 staffs are on duty which are inefficient. God bless their business

We had to wait about 45 minutes for the shuttle to arrive, and there is no way to contact the local office to request the shuttle, it just plays an automatic message. (Our flight was delayed so we arrived at close to 4:00am... so that might have been part of the issue) But the guy at the desk was super friendly and got us and the others in line in and out quickly. We had a choice of vehicles and all were great options. The vehicle we ended up picking was in excellent condition. No issues during our trip. And returning the vehicle was quick and easy. I was pleasantly surprised at how great Fox was, would absolutely rent a car from them again in the future.

DON'T DO IT!!! Waited in line for 2 hours. Might be cheaper but they will gouge you with fees! First and last time I use Fox. Avis, Alamo, National and Enterprise have all been outstanding in DEN.

Waited over an hour in line because there was only one employee working the counter. He did not read or provide any disclosures. Did not say more than 5 words throughout the transaction while he worked at a station different than the one he called me to. Obviously issues are larger than this one employee if management didn't feel necessary to schedule the appropriate amount of employees. I would rather pay twice as much for good service. I'll never use fox again.

Don’t go to this place. First of all, on what planet is a Hyundai Sante Fe, with a 4 cylinder engine and ridiculously small storage, similar to an 8 cylinder Jeep Grand Cherokee, which is built on a truck frame and has great storage room. They advertise this but the garage didn’t have one of them anywhere. The car I got had 34,000 miles on it, stains on the passenger front seat. It was raining when we drove it and the windshield wipers were so old they didn’t clear any of the water away. It was downright dangerous. And lastly, it took us nearly an hour to just do the paperwork to get the car. Aggressive up sell on insurance, toll passes, gasoline fill, etc. Go somewhere else. This place is HORRIBLE. Attorney general should shut them down for deceptive practices. I will file a claim with this place.

We waited over 2 hours to get our rental car (longer than our flight). There were 1-2 workers with 30 -40 people ahead of us, which easily more than doubled behind us once we got to the desk. They were estimating some people to be waiting 4-5 hours. Not only should Fox have staffed up for the beginning of a holiday weekend, they should have seen the number of cars reserved and at least had someone on call to assist speeding up the check in process. The only reason this is not a 1 star is because the staff member was still very friendly and helpful even after dealing with so many frustrated customers. I will be looking for another rental company next time.

The worst experience I have ever had with a car rental company. The shuttle took forever to arrive at the airport to pick us up. We booked a compact car but got a 7 people car. No explanation was given until we went to the car and come back to ask them why is it a huge car. Horrible attitude as well.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY DON'T HAVE CARS AND STEAL FROM YOU. FILING A CLAIM WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAUWe arrived to your location at the Denver airport on Friday night midnight Saturday. We were shuttled to your car pick up location and were told there are no cars available. We had booked this reservation well in advance and your ability to fulfill your customers reservations is horrible. Then we were told to go ahead and take a form to complete for a reimbursement and the difference we would pay at a different car rental place. That's fine but with a 2 and a half year old this was worst case scenario. We are stranded and no one offered to help us at the other places so we tried booking online and had to pay for a Lyft to Enterprise just to find out they were sold out to because all of your earlier customers went there already. We ended up calling Hertz who was ready to help us. The lack of communication and inability to help us, now we have to pay for another reservation instead of refunding us on the spot and working with Hertz directly for this mistake so we are not paying for this out of pocket. Worst customer service ever

We had great service and a great price. Picked up in Tampa and returned in Orlando. Everyone was friendly and I didn’t feel pressured at all. Even bought the prepaid gas which I never do because they made it soooooo comfortable. Completed the inspection with me and off I went. clean 2017 fusion hybrid. Keep up the good work. Much much better then when I used budget in the past.

The guy at the counter was very rude and was bothered that I made him actually have to do some work. If you are a local I suggest you stay away from this place. They will charge a security deposit of $1000 on your credit card. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more for a better company like avis or enterprise.

We had an issue with our reservation, and, with our flight coming in so late and being so tired - we were ready to get on the road, he handled it with grace and ease. Rated 1 star because I couldn't rate it 0 stars. Price was cheap which was great until you meet the lovely employees who are rude and not helpful at all. Got our car, drove about 20 minutes until all check engine lights that ever existed came on. Returned the car and they tried to charge me extra because they didn't have anything similar to swap out with. That didn't go so well for them. So needless to say, stay away from Fox Rent a Car unless you want a Kia that blows up after 20 minutes.

I’d give no stars if I could. The wait in line was over 30 minutes long and it wasn’t peak business hours. I then waited another hour and a half due to my vehicle being cleaned while three other vehicles of the same make/model were just sitting in the parking lot ready to go. Staff kept informing me it would be 5-10 more minutes. Staff was at least friendly, but service couldn’t have been much worse. Still waiting to receive my emailed receipt. Also made the mistake of adding the toll package to my trip. I explained to the guy at the desk the highway I’d be driving and he said I would be going through tolls. Didn’t drive through a single one. Jokes on me.
