Ordered online via Expedia. I was underage and using a debit card so I called ahead of time to see about the extra charges I would need to pay. Was not told of all charges over the phone and was surprised when I got to the rental counter. The employee over the phone did not tell me that I HAD to get vehicle insurance since I was underage. They did not have the car I ordered online available. I ordered a mid size or economy car. They tried to give me a mini van, then offered an SUV when I asked if they had anything else as if I had been offered a great deal. SUV had multiple scratches and dents. Motor made a weird sound when on the interstate. Line at rental location was extremely long. Nice employees tho. I'll just do Budget next time.

Overall experience was great. Lack of lighting at late pick-up made it difficult to inspect the vehicle so I did not see a small crack in the windshield. Simply reported it when they opened the next morning.

I can't decide how to rate these guys. Checkin was fast and efficient. From Denver, with snow in the forecast, I chose to upgrade to a four wheel drive SUV. When I left the lot, the tire pressure light was on. In my experience, this happens a fair amount, so I ignored it. Probably a big mistake on my part, as several hundred miles down the road the nail in my tire blew out the sidewall, ruining the tire. Four hours and $300 later I was on my way again. I can't be sure that they sent me out with a defective tire, but I do know that with a property inflated new tire, the system reset itself and the light went out in about 3 blocks. So, how do you rate that? Were they negligent? Was I? Just not sure what to say, but the cost of my rental was doubled by the new tire I had to buy and you can't love that. Everything else was quite good. Would've been 5 stars without the tire experience

Customer service lacking. Bearded guy who processed the rental for me was rude, it seemed like I was keeping him from being somewhere else. My questions were answered with tone and mumbles. The other folks behind the counter seem to be providing a courteous service to other folks. So why did I get stuck with him.

The worst place to get a car rental, they will get you by haveing cheap car rentals but once you bring the car back they add in a bunch of fees and overcharge you if you bring the car back not filled up. I understand that there is a charge for bringing it back not filled up but to say it was lower than it was and to charge you double the rate is ridiculous, I even called them and talked to them and they were not willing to help so I took it to my credit card. Never using them again!

Great deal online, but beware of hidden costs, (Kind of like Frontier or Spirit airlines) it can add up if you don't ask questions or decline the offers. Car was dinged up, over 50k miles, tire pressure was way off. Definitely a no frills rental car company.

The customer service is really bad. If you want piece of mind, don't rent the car here. They gave me a really bad car. One of the tires kept losing air. Not only that the car had lots of dents. I don't mind that as long as they take ownership of the dents that were already there. They asked me to mark them and said they will not verify. I was really scared until the end that they were gonna charge me for something I haven't done. When I finally returned the car, they left the windows open, left the keys in there and said you may go. I asked for a receipt that I returned the car. They said they cannot give one then and they would email. But I never got one. I didn't get any extra charge. But I was worried days after my trip was over and kept checking my card. I wouldn't rent here again.

Lorenzo was awesome at finding us a vehicle that was exactly what we needed. He made sure we got a 4x4 since we were going up into the mountains and gave us a great deal on it. Highly recommend! Shuttle from airport was waiting for us and fast.

This is the worst costumer service I've ever had. Last week I called to get an extension and they had me on hold for over an hour. The women answering the phones doesn't even give you a chance to tell them what's going on before they click you on hold right in your face between sentences. I would never come here again or will I ever refer anyone here. Plus they never answer the phone anyway. I would not give them a half a star!!!

Horrible experience. The company tries to take advantage of tourists. First the employee tells you the price of the rental, and I specifically asked it it included everything, taxes, fees and the ez pass equivalent. He said yes in a way that my question was insulting. Once he has my credit card he quietly says sorry I forgot to add the toll road daily fee, which was an additional $50+. He also told me the toll road is mandatory and no way to get to south beach without using it. The whole 5 days I went to south beach there was not once that we took a toll road. Horrible company and the man helping me was not honest and rude.

They look cheaper on the website. After they get done charging you all the fees, which you don't know about until you bring the car back, you should have just gone with a more reputable rental company. The cars were in pretty rough shape. They consider a Hyundai Santa Fe a "full size" SUV. Not the greatest of experiences.

Not the worst car rental experience ever, but definitely not planning to use EZ again. 1) They charge $10 per day for Sun Pass, regardless of how much your tolls actually are. So, for a four day rental, we paid a $40 fee for what amounted to $4.24 of actual tolls. 2) We had booked via Expedia and thought we were good to go. If we weren't paying attention, the rep at the Miami Internal Airport would have added in full insurance without asking - increasing the price by more than $150 - and seemed a bit putoff when I asked to see a breakdown of the pricing, before declining the insurance. 3) The first car we were given had a huge dent on the passenger side. I don't know about you, but I never expect to rent a sports car for a vacation and pay full price for one with a dent. They swapped it out, but another thing I had to bring to their attention during the process. 4) When we stopped in Key Largo for lunch and put the roof up on our convertable, ants began streaming out of the passenger-side window. We saw a handful of ants at other points during our drive, so they were definitely living somewhere in that car. 5) We purchased the option to return the car with an empty tank and have them refuel for $40ish. When we got home, we were billed $40 plus AN ADDITIONAL $85 for fuel. They ended up refunding the $85 after I called, but it was another 20 minutes on the phone to get it resolved. Overall, I enjoyed our drive down to Key West, but really expected a much more seamless process, considering that I booked online. Felt like I had to interject at every turn to get what we had paid for, which is more work than anyone wants to do when they're on vacation.

This was a nightmare. We are 4 hrs away from the rental office. The car will not start. Deader than dead. Their solutuon is for us to pay to have their vehicle towed to Denver, leaving us without a vehicle. They say we declined roadside assistance - we were never offered the option. This is not a situation where we wrecked the car or had a flat. Their car simply won't start. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH EZ.

RENTER BEWARE!!! We showed up at 11 pm with a reservation, to find out they would not rent us a car. This was with a confirmation number, and no prior warning until we arrived at the desk. The desk attendant, Jules, was extremely unhelpful and could not clearly explain the situation, or even what the problem was. ABSURD!! I will never use EZ rent again, I advise you to do the same.

Place needs some major remodeling. Stood in line for over 30 minutes and I was the only person in line. Some of the employees were standing around chatting and not being attentive to providing customer service. I gave them a star because I liked my car. It was clean and new however I got the car with half of a tank. When the guy reviewed the vehicle prior to taking it off the lot, the attendant said it was okay, just bring it back the way I got it. I took the car back 2 hours earlier than it was reversed for with half a tank and I was charged $98 for fuel refuel!!!! This company is a joke and will scam you if you don't pay attention! I'm happy I bank with an amazing bank and helped me dispute the unauthorized charge.

I was very happily surprised by what a positive experience this particular rental car pickup was. My car had been reserved in advance, and the process of getting to the E-Z location (shuttle gets there in a few minutes), getting to the counter, and walking out with the car was one of the smoothest as painless I've had so far. The clerk was friendly and helpful, went through the list of items they're required to mention and offer without being pushy, and was even nice enough to offer, without being asked, to remove one of the add-on services as soon as he realized that I wasn't going to be needing it. He gave me clear and precise instructions to help me get the paperwork done as quickly as possible, and to let me know where to find the car, and that was that. The car was clean and pretty much exactly what I had reserved, and I was a happy customer (not such a common experience at many car rentals).

This company it's a trap! the worst service I've ever had, and they don't even care. 1- My flight was delayed and they canceled my reservation after just 2 hours of pick up time. 2- The car was very dirty. The windshield was totally greasy and became dangerous to drive with the rain. 3-They are charging me double of what the original quote was, and I am calling to dispute the charge and they have had me waiting on the phone for more than 30 minutes Avoid this company!

I rented from advantage rent a car. The people at the desk were nice. The service was very slow, it took over an hour to get to the counter and there were only 6 people in front of me. The vehicle I received was dirty, needed an oil change, and had a slow leak in the tire. It was dark and cold and they have you inspect your own vehicle in a dark parking lot. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.

I called the service number for E-Z car rental and cancelled my reservation and walked over the Dollar Car rental and rented a car for my stay in Denver. I was pleased with my decision to not wait for a car at E-Z rental...and happily rented next door.

I am a local from Miami...made a reservation..went to their location Mia airport....they turned me down..I have all in good standing ....they did not want to rent me a car for the reason that I only carry a PIP even though I was willing to pay for their insurance...!! I have never been so upset about a rental company. I booked through priceline. When I finally arrived on their extremely slow shuttle, I waited 10 minutes to get to a person. The man I spoke with lied to me multiple times. I was told that I should get an EZ Toll pass because if I didn't use it, I would be refunded. That was a lie. I told him I did not want supplemental insurance but they have something called collision damage waiver which is supplemental insurance under another name that they do not inform you about so if you don't read or understand the fine print, they will charge you 25.99 a day! The final straw is that a booster seat is a 68.45 fee that is non refundable. You can buy a booster seat for less than that and you can keep it or donate it. Then if that is not enough, I was told that I should get the FPO which is where you don't have to fill up before you return your car. I was told it would be 2.37 a gallon, but what they don't tell you and their contract is not clear on, they charge you for a full tank of gas even if you return it with 1/4 of a tank. After all of this, I sent a message to their online customer service the day after I picked up my car when I had a chance to sit down and look into the fees. I got no reply in 24 hours. I called their customer service and told them how upset I was at being deceived and charged so much. I had to talk to 3 people to get a straight answer on where all of the charges came from. That response was from a supervisor. Her solution, go back to the store and they might be able to cancel some days of the extra services that I didn't use, however their lack of response through email will not be honored. Might be able to! She can't or won't do anything for me on the phone. Needless to say, never use EZ Rent-A-car! Just as one more reason, the first customer service person I spoke with let me know that the agents in their offices work on commission, so they are encouraged to be deceitful by getting extra pay for the more product the sell you.

WARNING!! DO NOT rent from these people. They are crooks. It may seem like the rentals are cheap, but they end up charging you for small things that add up. They will tell you that it's a $5/day rental, but actually charge you $35/day because of "fees." DO NOT fall for it like I did. Rent from more reputable companies. You will end up paying LESS at other companies. Just look at all of these terrible reviews and you will see that most people have had a bad experience.

I would rent here again but it wouldn't be my first choice and only if I was not in a hurry after landing. Line was long and lengthy in time waiting to get our car. Well over an hour. Car we selected online was rated for 5 adults but the counter clerk continually tried to get us to upgrade due to size and being a 4cyl. engine. If 5 adults don't fit well in a Kia Optima, which they do, quit advertising it as full size. If a 4cyl isn't good in the mountains, which it was, quit renting them. Car smelled like smoke. It was newer and we had no problems. Everything functioned as it should and we averaged 30mpg. DO NOT fall for the toll payment. Set your Google map setting to avoid toll roads and you'll be fine. Mostly I just saw it for Express lane usage anyhow. Also there is a gas station right next door, so fill car yourself when returning. When you drop off, unload people and luggage next to office, don't listen to person telling you to proceed to lot as you only walk back to the office as we did in the heavy rain. Otherwise, return was easy. This place is conveniently located by Denver airport and it has 24 hour shuttle to and from every 15 to 20 minutes.

Probably the worst car rental agency I've ever dealt with. RUDE counter service after waiting 30 mins behind 1 person. The shuttle just Didn't Show Up like it was supposed to. We had to take the Hertz shuttle (that drove by 5 times in 30 mins) and walk over to EZ. When we got there, the shuttle driver was just sitting in the shuttle with the heat on (it was a little chilly that night). Then, after our rental, we drop off our car and think "how could these people possibly screw us over any more?" They dropped us off at the airport at Arrivals instead of Departures.... so then we had to circumnavigate the entire airport to find a way upstairs to get to ticketing/check-in (it's a lot easier to get downstairs than it is up-stairs at DEN). Overall, this place sucks and apparently they don't want your business.. do yourself a favor and don't bother wasting your time.

Was pleasantly surprised by this car rental company. Denver was booked with my go-to companies, so I was kind of worried when using a different car rental service. Definitely glad I chose to rent from here. I was worried about the airport pickup, because it seemed like the other shuttles were coming more frequently, but that was just me being impatient. Anyways, the service was amazing when getting to the actual location. The process was quick, even with a good amount of people there to rent cars. The service was friendly and answered all the questions we had. They were helpful and not pushy to get us to buy add-ons like you can sometimes see. I won't shy away from this company in the future.

So why did I reserve the stupid car ahead of time. It should be in and out. He can tell them to go on the side and think on their choice. Waste of time. This is my second time renting a car with E-Z. I think they do a great job overall. Definitely buy the eToll for about $10/day since Denver, CO does not have toll booths on their tollways. It takes a photo of your car/plates as you drive. I was mistaken about this during my first rental with them, and luckily I only took the tollway once, otherwise the fees and penalties would have been very pricey. The second time I rented with them I bought this eToll per day and on top of their good customer service and good cars, I enjoyed renting with them even more the second time.

Horrible costumer service.... I really mean it: DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY... We tried changing airport return 25 miles apart 30 min driving( FLL to MIA) and they wanted to change $600. Really? Is this a joke? Its double of what I paid for a whole week. They also gave us a smaller car than what we rented. Totally disgusted. Lesson learned NEVER AGAIN

Not a scam for us. They were inexpensive and there were no hidden fees for us. Our deposit was refunded in decent time. You do need car insurance to rent a car (probably collision coverage), but that is the same as everyone else. The staff when we picked up the car was not the friendliest, but the staff when we dropped it off was very friendly. There is a free shuttle to and from the airport.

It wasn't until I was on my way to pick up my reservation that I read a lot of terrible reviews about this place which had me extremely nervous, but I couldn't have had a more opposite experience. Definitely lived up to its name. Only waited about 10 minutes for the shuttle, once we made it to E-Z we were in and out of there in another 10 minutes. They even upgraded me from a compact to a midsize. Car was easy to locate in the lot and returning it was even easier. Maybe they've improved over time but I would definitely rent from them again.

Refused my business because I am a "local driver" I needed to rent a car for a quick business trip as my car was having issues. I provided EVERYTHING. Credit card for deposit, valid insurance, valid license, everything. The lady apologized several times on how they wished they could help me, but stated that I couldn't rent a car because I live in the same state.

HORRIBLE. STAY AWAY!! The rental car company decided to charge me $200 more and decided not to let me know. They do not answer the phone and put me on hold for 30 minutes. Later when the priceline agent called in my presence, her call was not answered either. They gave a car with bumps at the back and a non working remote. Made me check the condition of the car and fill in the form myself. E-Z Car rentals are the worst that I have dealt with in my many years of renting. The agents there were so grumpy and talk to threaten you for no reason!! I will never ever go back there.

DO NOT GET A RENTAL HERE! This place is a scam! They charged my credit card on 7/18/19 for a rental car that we were suppose to get tonight for the weekend. When we got to the airport "ez rent a car" rental location at 1:30am to get our rental car there were about 30 people in line that were waiting for about 2 hours for their cars when staff member announced that they ran out of cars and that there is nothing they can do. They told all people in line including people with disabilities and service animals to wait for someone to return a car which could take up to 24 hours or go elsewhere to look for rental cars. No refund! No explanations! No credit! Nothing! They didn't even want to take my written formal complaint or give out their license number! This business should be shut down for bad business practice and violations! DO NOT RENT CARS HERE!!!

Be aware of all of the extra charges that will be added to your bill. I was charged over double the amount that I was told when I picked up the car, with no explanation. When I called the customer service number, they weren't able to help. There was no problems with the car itself, but next time I will use a different rental car company that is honest and up front about the price.

We had booked an suv through EZ at a great rate, but we mainly chose them because they were the only company that said the vehicle and pick up desk would be at the airport terminal. However, like every other car company at the Denver airport you actually have to shuttle to the office. Not a huge deal, but they need to change that false advertising. What was a huge issue was a line of about 30 people waiting for vehicles in the office at midnight. Only 2 people working the desk. After waiting in line for 20 minutes without moving, I had my wife walk across the parking lot to thrifty who matched the price of EZ. No line at all there. Super friendly staff. Ended up in a brand new Yukon XL for super cheap. Never again will I use EZ. Their office feels more like a greyhound bus station full of unhappy people. The only positive I took away from the experience was the ease of canceling our reservation.

Called the phone number on the email to cancel. Was told that since it was not prepaid, I had to contact a third party for which she had no phone number. She would not cancel the reservation. Found the EZ Rent a Car website myself and cancelled it via the website. Got out of this one without an issue, and I feel lucky I did, since they're already lying to me, ugh!

I would give this car rental place a -5 star rating if I could!!! I prepaid for a reservation to arrive and get told that we could not take the car we reserved upon arrival due to weather conditions. Only after we told them that we prepaid, they found an alternative vehicle and an employee said it would be $200 extra when returned (with management’s permission). After having no other choice we agreed to rent the vehicle. Upon return they charged us $500 in ADDITION to what I prepaid. THAT IS $700 FOR 48 HOURS!!!! The managers had absolutely no concern with solving this problem and said there was nothing they could do. She told us we should have taken the car we rented in the first place, THE CAR THE EMPLOYEE WOULDN’T LET US TAKE!!! This is the absolute worst place to rent a car and the customer service is absolutely disgusting as well. They trick people into paying more money than what was agreed to and in plain terms, are theives. Rent a car anywhere but EZ.

I had a paid SUV , upon arrival guy in counter told me there were out of SUV, that i could for extra $15 a day a convertible. Said NO, that i was sticking to my paid SUV. offered me a Pick up Silverado, a 7 pass VAN and voila! the convertible (which was charging me extra before for). Took the VAN, told me i could change it next day for free, but endep up keeping the rental period. beware with the insurance, they tried to sell them to you as "required by law". I said no to everything a few times. finally got it for what i paid no more. at $15/day for a van was a good deal

Everyone was rude and it felt like I was inconveniencing them by me renting there especially the three behind the counter on 8/30/18 just when I thought that was over I met andres k, when he brought the car over I wanted to ask him a question he turned and walked away then I got to do the vehicle inspection found trash in the trunk it not vacuumed out pretty much the only thing rite about the car was it was full on gas, then on return I met the same guy ( andres k ) I told him I wanted to use a different card to pay the rental he charged my card anyway and drove off this was my honeymoon and these people were horrible to work with I will never do business with them again and I will be telling everyone I know to steer clear of them also.

DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!!! It's also 3x more expensive than it really says online! They charge a whole bunch of fees when you go to pick it up! DO NOT RENT HERE! They gave me a broken vehicle!!!!! I got onto the highway and half my bumper was flying off of the car! They just tucked it in so you couldn't tell when I had done the walk around, but 5 minutes on the highway, I heard a loud banging against my car, I couldn't figure out what it was until I was able to pull over and Half the bumper was off!! I tried to call but couldn't get a hold of anyone. I just returned the car and none cared. I sent an email and all they did was give me a 20% discount. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!?!?!?!

A big advice I'm giving you here, STAY AWAY. I've rented cars in many countries all over the world with almost all the car rental companies BUT have never seen anything disgusting like this. After charging me with all they could I ended up paying for insurance and other services more than double of the car rent price. BUT this was not the case. I paid for their ROAD ASSISTANCE SERVICE just in case anything happens to me. The second day of my rental I got into a situation that needed road assistance service, so I called them and explained the issue. FOR CONFIRMATION, they asked me for my rental agreement number or license number which I forgot in the hotel that day, but I offered to give them all the other personal details. They refused to go ahead an help me without the license number IN ADDITION, they asked for my location and offered to call the POLICE for me because I'm driving without a license. So because it was late and they didn't want to send anybody that late, they tried to get rid of me by THREATENING me to call the police for me in a very sarcastic way (airport staff) ALTHOUGH I paid for road service assistance. Just imagine that. My friends, you'll see some good reviews for this ugly company, but they are only because customers took the car and brought it back in time and never had to call them during rental or discuss the bill after returning the car. Try to have a situation with them and you'll get what I'm talking about. I still have my deposit with them and I don't care if they return it to me or not, but I just wanted to make people aware and not to do the same mistake I did.

It’s 2am and we’ve been waiting 40+ mins in a 10 person line for a car. Agent tells us no notes were put on our reservation when we spoke to an agent TWICE to put a note on our reservation. They are not working to reduce wait times as only 1 agent (eventually two when one couple took a half an hour to work out their rental details holding everyone up) was working and the early AM is a busy time for them based on reviews. They told me (Maria, the name of the employee) it was ok, but when i arrived to orlando, company is asking 250 usd fee for leaving the car in another location than i rented it, fee thst the employees in miami didnt mention AT ALL. I dont usually write such negative reviews, but I cant sit in silence about the tactics and scams this place is doing to get extra money out of you. My story begins with doing a Google search for rental cars. I saw an ad through Hotwire, So I clicked on it. It took me to Hotwire website and I began to fill out my information. Hotwire then gave me its lowest quote for Advantage. $49 daily rate plus taxes & fees was $68.68. I also purchased the daily insurance for an additional $18. Now my total is $86.68. Still not too bad for a 1 day rental. Not too bad. Check in at Advantage Denver Airport. The staff seemed very nice and professional. When I was motioned to come to the next attendant that was available, he began by asking my name to start the reservation. I gave him my information and he seemed very quick at getting everything together. He asked me if I wanted the insurance. I replied Yes because I had indicated that when I booked it through Hotwire. I'm assuming it's still the $18 insurance I requested. The attendant then asked me to electronically initial the signing pad. There was a small square box to initial and then it would go to the next page to initial. Please note the information is so small that you cant really read anything. I felt at that time that the attendant would tell me all the information before he wanted a credit card for the deposit. I was handed a piece of paper that seemed to be a receipt of all the charges. The total was $143.28. I assumed this was the rental fee plus the deposit. The attendant quickly printed out my paperwork and thanked me and pointed to where the vehicle was. Nothing else was explained. I was expecting for the attendant to review the information with me to go over all charges, how to return the vehicle, emergency contact in case something happened with the vehicle like a flat tire or something, but non of that was done. The attendant did mention to not bring back the car full of gas because he told me it was cheaper for them to fill it up on site and he told me it was about $2.59 a gallon. Ok, that sounds reasonable but I learned later the real charge. I picked up the car and left to where I was going. Later that day, I had some free time, so I began reading through the rental agreement. I first noticed extra insurance charges and a prepaid fuel charge. First, the prepaid fuel charge is $55.98. I wasn't expecting to prepay for fuel when they dont know how much fuel it will have when I return it. I assumed once its checked back in, they would fuel the vehicle and charge whatever it required. The next item is PAI/PEC insurance $6.99 per day. The next item is supplemental liability insurance $15.99 a day. The next item is collision damage waiver $34.99. The next item is RSP $7.49 a day. Then the next few items are standard state & local taxes totaling $38.43. All totalling $143.28 in addition to the $86.68 I paid to Hotwire. Then I checked my bank statement to see these charges and found in addition to the $143.28 there is a $200 deposit for a grand total of $429.96. I'm not upset at this point. I was thinking that maybe they gave me a new reservation and wasn't aware of the Hotwire reservation because looking at my bank statements its separate charges from Hotwire and Advantage. I would just talk to someone about it when I returned the vehicle. Before returning the vehicle, I filled up the fuel. I was at half a tank and it cost me $21 at $2.63 a gallon. The return. I pulled up and the attendant checked me in. He looked at the vehicle very carefully especially the exterior looking for dents as if he was looking for hail damage. He took down the milage, input all the data and told me I was good to go. He never mentioned anything about the fuel being full on return, so I would have been out $55.98 they pre-charged. So I went inside to talk to a manager. To be continued..

Absolutely a terrible experience. I reserved a mini-van and I was given a 12 passenger Nissan van without my knowledge. I had to discover that it's a 12 passenger van in the pickup parking. I went back to the counter to inform the agent I reserved a minivan. The agent said "call it an upgrade". No resolution till next day when I had to come back to the airport. My entire family (3 kids and 2 grandmas) had to wait in the airport till 1am for more than 2 hrs.

I am writing a review about my experience with E-Z Rent-A-Car in Denver Colorado, in late June 2019. I had booked the car on a car rental site with E-Z Rentals based on their low prices, without doing too much research. A day or two later I read some of the reviews about the company, especially about their Denver location. The reviews were quite bad for the most part and I thought I should change the booking,go with another company but in the end kept the booking simply because of the low rental price. Once at the airport, the experience was quite different form what i was expecting: quick shuttle pick up, quick drive to the rental location, no line-up (ok, I guess this was just luck), quick chat with a knowledgeable and pleasant employee, quick paperwork, detailed explanation of all rental-related payments and options, quick access to car, car in great condition, relatively new. I would say, all-in, it took about 25-30 minutes from the moment I stepped out of the airport to the time I was actually driving the rental car. Not bad at all. I just felt that it is fair to share the good experience that I had with this rental company, to show other potential customers that it is not all gloom and doom with E-Z Rent-A-Car. I may have been just a lucky exception but personally I would rent with them any time, assuming this is their standard service level. 5 stars from me, absolutely no regrets about choosing them.

The worst experience I have had from a rental car company. I made a reservation online for a good price. Upon arriving I spoke with an associate who offered an upgrade for 100 dollars. I though it was a good deal. After the trip was over i checked my credit card and was charge 300 dollars over what the rental was for. I called their "customer service" and they offered me 60 dollars. Stating that the charge was due to me returning the vehicle 1 hour late.

I will never rent from this company again. Following a very long wait for the shuttle and a long process at the rental counter, we were told by the employee that the E-Z Toll pass and CDW were not optional. Having rented hundreds of times from multiple other companies, I knew this was not true. My husband and I both told the employee multiple times that we wished to decline both. The employee again told us that neither was optional. He said in the state of Colorado the toll pass was a requirement with rental cars due to no cash option at the tolls. I've experienced this in other states, so I knew that couldn't be true. The most frustrating part was that the employee told us both multiple times that the CDW fee is not optional. We explained that we have our own vehicle insurance and even brought a copy of our policy. I've never paid for additional coverage on a rental. He again told us that the company's policy is that every rental must include the CDW fee at a minimum, and we could not decline the option. Later, we read on the company's own paperwork that CDW and EZ-Toll are both OPTIONAL PRODUCTS. The employee lied to us on both accounts. At best, the employee is incompetent (although we spoke to multiple employees), and should not be handling reservations. I believe this company is fraudulent and intentionally scamming people. Our charges were more than double the amount our reservation stated, and the reservation included taxes and fees. Not to mention the car was absolute junk.

There were 10 customers waiting for the ez shuttle with us. We were all standing under the sign that clearly stated that we were at the ez shuttle pick up area. It was pouring rain and we waited for over 30 minutes, getting soaked, as we watched your shuttles go by several times without stopping. We were waving at them. All 10 of us called and kept being told the bus was on the way. Then it would drive by without stopping. I gave up and rented from Hertz.

A real bait and switch. They make you come in with a great deal on a regular car and then inform you that you need an all wheel drive to get to the mountains. I think all car companies should be obliged to announce this so that you can shop around. What I thought was going to cost 100 us for 4 days ended up costing 300. Don't fall for lower prices. Although our vehicle was good, one thing that one should know is they have only Airport location, no other locations in Colorado :O, so if your car breaks down, you are screwed, they said they will not offer towing, tow at your expense. This doesn't give piece of mind. Check in was quick, and drop off, Airport shuttle is convenient. So I'll update my rating from 3 to 4 as I didn't face problem, but they have only location, so if you are driving multiple cities beware of that.

Do not use this car rental… If you do not have a credit card you cannot rent a car Flew all the way to Miami Florida from Texas… And rented the car with them for the last three years… When we got there they change the rules and said if you don't have a credit card you cannot rent a car. They couldn't care less that we were stuck at the airport with no rental car. The lady basically pushed me aside and said nothing I can do. Even though I made the reservations months ahead and it said that they would require a $200 deposit on a debit card. Don't rent here if you value your life! We rented a car for a week and drove to the Everglades. Two days later, the tire pressure indicator light came on, because one of the tires had low pressure. When I was putting air into the tire, I discovered that BOTH front tires were completely worn bald (no tire tread left at all -- extremely dangerous, especially when driving on highways, because it can cause a tire blow-out). I had to drive the car back to Miami to switch rental cars. The staff at E-Z Rent-A-Car didn't seem concerned at all that they were putting unsafe cars on the road and people's lives at risk. BEWARE!

My experience was wonderful. All of the staff were great and provided me with a quick experience from retrieving the vehicle and during the drop-off. It was clear to me the pricing for the toll tag. The only thing not mentioned was information about bringing the car back with the same gas in it, but this isn’t my first rental so I put it back where it was. I definitely plan on using the services more whoever I’m in a city in which they are located. Cars were very affordable - I was able to get an SUV during Memorial Day Weekend for only $56, a car at Enterprise was the same cost but they were fully booked.

A SCAM! The absolutele worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! I attempted to make a reservation yesterday online however, the system did not allow me to complete my reservation. I called the call center for assistance - They too were experiencing system issues and was unable to complete my reservation. I was told to call back because the system was down. I called back this morning only to be told that my rate had increased by $100! I spoke to the most rude claim center rep named Raquel in Gautama (according to her). When I asked to speak to a supervisor she said she was the supervisor. They should’ve honored the rate at the time I was making my reservation. I was told there is nobody else I could talk to and I could “take it or leave it”. THE WORST! THEY WOULD NEVER GET MY BUSINESS.

Poor communication at the counter regarding fees & other issues. I went to pick up the rental & everything seemed fine. They took a long time to pick us up at the airport. When we got to the location everything seemed straight forward. The guy at the counter seemed nice & helpful. He told us how the gas was cheaper at their location so it's better to fill up there. It sounded pretty good & I trusted him giving me advice on to save money. When we left the lot, the people that checked the car didn't look at anything & just told us to sign. There were no notations on vehicle condition although the vehicle was a great condition. When dropping the car off it was quick and simple. They did an actual check of the vehicle which is interesting since they didn't when we picked it up. Something to watch out for since they could claim a prior dent or scratch was new. They told us we were all set to go. A few minutes later they sent me a bill via email that was about $65 over the quoted amount. It turns out that they rounded what was in the tank down & said we used a 1/2 tank of gas which we only drove 166 miles which might have came close to a half tank but they didn't have record of the actual gallon amount that was refilled. The fuel charge apparently was for a full tank of gas which I didn't agree to or sign for anywhere. I tried reaching out to customer service & they escalated the issue but they never responded back to me. I ended up calling them 2 more times & still had no results. At one point they said I could dispute the charges but they would charge me $9/gal of what i used on top of what I already paid which made no sense at all. I'm sure this was more miscommunication. I finally ended up calling corporate from the number provided on the BBB so attempt to finally resolve this issue. I highly recommend giving that number a call if your first attempt at the normal customer service doesn't get you anywhere. The guy was very helpful & could clearly see that there was miscommunication between myself & the guy at the counter. There were missing signatures & notations on the agreement that didn't line up with the charges. I was finally refunded on the miscommunication & he explained in more detail of how the prepaid fuel charges work. Even though this was a bad experience at the end of it all, the overall ease & price was good. I might use this place again but if I do, I will be fully clearing up everything on the agreement before I walk out the door. I will also be filling up the car with gas myself as I really still don't trust the outcome of leaving it up to the company. My advice to you is to take a good look at the vehicle's condition since they don't make note of anything when you leave but thoroughly look at the car when you bring it back. Like I mentioned above, the car was in great condition but I feel like even the smallest of scratches or dents that might not be an issue to the guy checking the car out, might be to the guy checking the car in & you could get hosed from it. Just fill the tank with gas before you get to the airport. You might pay an extra $0.05-0.10/gal but it will save you so much time & frustration on the final billing. Maybe the person at the counter will be more informative than the one we got so everything might be clear & fine but as far as I'm concerned, I don't trust the follow through & clarity of the information. 3 stars because of the miscommunication, lack of support from their customer service reps over the phone & the fact they never followed up on my original claim. Other than that, friendliness at the location, price & car selection were good.

They just want to do their own things but not what the company require them to do. Sorry if I could not give 0 star. They lost more than 2000$ only from me,every time i made a reservation I had to fight with them. That the last time they will fight with me. Advantage rental and EZ car rental are the same garbage. They try to pass off a Jeep Renegade, which is literally the size of a four door mini cooper as a mid-size suv. Sky, who works in the denver airport office, is a complete tool and the rude. I never write reviews, but I was angry enough about this place to do it. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. My husband and I rented a vehicle here on February 3, 2019. We paid the rental in full ($673.80) on the day we picked up the vehicle. No employees or agents went outside with me to complete the vehicle damage report, so I did it alone. The vehicle was very dirty when we got it. It was obvious that it had not been cleaned between customers. It didn’t really bother me so I didn’t bother to show anyone. The only instructions we were given when we drove off was to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas. Today I was reviewing my credit card bill and saw two new charges, both dated Feb. 19, 2019. The first one was for $673.80 (the amount of our rental that we paid in full at pick-up) and a second charge of $754.99. I called in and spoke to a rep. Long story short, she told me that they always charge for the rental on the day of return (even though we paid up front) and that the second charge was a “$600 cleaning fee, plus tax.” I naturally gave the rep a piece of my mind and all she told me was that she would submit the charges to “management” for consideration. By the way, I was directed to the call center, not the local office. Aside from the fact that it was dirty when we picked it up, we were NEVER told to have the car cleaned before we returned it. Besides, how is a $600 cleaning fee even remotely reasonable?? There was nothing spilled in the car, no stains, no smoking. No need for a deep clean other than it’s previous used by other customers without being cleaned. Which is absolutely NOT my problem. This company charged my friend 110.00 a day during the Irma disaster period. He was working out of town and had to return home to check on his family and could not return the rental car on the given day. Horrible rental company, take it from me, a Google Local Guide, stay away. The customer service was horrible, I found 2 empty beer cans in my car, I paid extra for the roadside assistance and then they told me that it doesn't cover lock outs, I ended up having to pay a locksmith $250 to get the keys out of the trunk. They frankly don't care about customer retention, they just want to make a quick buck, and I find that truly appalling. Rent from a more reputable rental agency.

There were NO clean baby seats available when we got there. We had to hunt for one, which smelled very heavily of old sweat. We cleaned it off ourselves but could not get rid of the odor. Then my family was overcharged for supposedly returning the car over 2 hours late. By that time, we had already boarded the plane! Also, Customer Service has been terrible, taking 4 days now to not give me a response. I called twice myself after having been told someone would get back to me within 48 hours! If you have a family, I strongly advise choosing a different car rental company.

Hate to give 1 star ratings, but this location consistently runs 1-2hr wait at the counters. Shuttle wait about 30 min. The agents are SLOW at their upsell routine. Upsell is business, understandable, but other agencies find a way to push the upsell while processing customers realistically. Not excusable in today's market.

I would give this company ZERO stars if I could... I made a reservation with EZ Rent-A-Car out of Atlanta, GA from 12/01 - 12/04. When I arrived I was issued a Chevy Cruze. Within 15 minutes of leaving the rental facility, I had a flat tire. First, there was a speed warning that flashed across the dashboard. I found that odd, since there was heavy morning traffic and I was going no more than 40 mph. Then, I noticed an orange warning light. I pulled over on the side of the road to see that there was also a low tire pressure warning. Within minutes, the tire was completely flat. I immediately called the number listed on the rental record. The customer service representative told me I had 2 options: 1. I could have them come out and change the tire. Then, I could carry on with my trip on a spare tire. 2. I could change the tire myself and bring it back to the rental facility to exchange it for a new car. Since I was not under time constraints, I went with option 2. I changed the tire and returned to the rental facility. When I arrived, I was told that I had to complete an incident report and that I "may" be responsible for paying for the tire. I documented this "incident" with photos of the tire, which show no visible signs of damage. The manager even looked at the tire with me and said that he did not see any visible damage, including nails, glass or puncture marks. I found the whole situation ridiculous, since this happened within minutes of leaving the airport. I was informed by the agent that someone would contact me within a few hours to discuss the incident. That call never came and I have still received no information related to what the "damage" on that tire was. I returned the second car on 12/04. When I returned the car, I asked the agent about the Chevy. She said they fixed the car and it's already back out. She also said I had nothing to worry about. I naively took her word. Nearly 2 months later, I received an invoice for approximately $200. Renting from this company has truly been a horrible experience from beginning to end. Not only was my card charged for refueling, when I returned the car completely full, I now have to deal with being charged for a tire that I clearly did not damage. I have sent multiple emails to EZ Rent A Car and have not received a response.

With snow happening right now, upgrading to an AWD was a must and he worked with us on the price so that we could afford an upgrade. Did the ole bait and switch. Didn’t mind the huge line but when I got to the counter they had given my car away but said I’d have a “free” upgrade to an suv from a compact. Turns out it wasn’t so free. They told me the additional surprise fees they had given me for the new rental would be returned after 21 days, that was a lie. When I went to exit the lot after picking up the car from some really rude employees they would not let me mark all the asphalt and “tiny” scratches on the car because they could “wash” off. The man at the gate refused to accept my review of the car and ripped the paper I had signed 3 times in my face stating the car just needed a good wash. They trick you into thinking it’ll be easy with the easy pickup gimmick but this place is really just sad bad. Total literally doubled by the end.

We had a great experience with E-Z Rent A Car while we were visiting family. We had a lot of flight delays and cancellations causing us to have to find a quick car rental in Denver which is not easy to do at such short notice. We have two little ones that were close to meltdown mode so we were desperate to find something fast and go grab some food. We told the employee Lorenzo our situation and he was incredibly helpful. He found us a car that should have cost us a fortune but gave us an incredible deal and went through everything very quickly for us. He even helped us bring our suitcases to the car! He was so friendly towards us and our kids. Plus dropping off the car was so easy and quick! Also the security deposit came back into my account within three days! We will definitely be going back. This place is ridiculous I specifically told the person I did not want prepaid gas and he charged me for it anyway on my contract it is abbreviated so you have no idea what it is. So I filled the car to full when I returned it. Customer service was no help she told me well they do not check the gas when it is returned. That is crazy. I have rented cars here three times. The first two times went fairly smoothly, except for quite a few additional charges that were NOT in the quote when making the reservation. However, the third time was a “charm”!! I added a day to my reservation and upgraded at the counter upon arrival. I had just changed my return plane ticket to add a day, so I added the day at the EZ counter. The agent quoted me an additional $63 charge for the upgrade. My quote for the four days was $220.61. My final charge was $539.62. FOR FOUR DAYS!!! I just rented a nice SUV for a THREE WEEK road trip from Enterprise, and the total is $833!!! EZ Rent A Car is a predatory bait and switch company. Please avoid them at all costs. They will most assuredly rip you off.

There was nothing easy about my experience with E-Z Rent A Car. Never in my life have I had to wait 1 hour just to get a rental car that was already reserved. The line of people waiting to be seen by a representative was to the door. I counted and there were 23 people ahead of me. There were only 5 agents working but there were 10 work stations at the facility. It’s unbelievable that they weren’t fully staffed, knowing in advance the number of reservations for the morning. Agents showed no remorse for the delay and long line of people either. A simple, I’m sorry for the wait would have been nice. Needless to say, I will never use them again.

You have to start all over again from the beginning which is Miles away. This is definitely not a location for Tourists. I live in Miami and still got lost. After returning the car and seeing the charge, I called customer service and they couldn’t help. UPDATE: I was able to get 50% of my fuel pre-payment back. What a joke! Waited 25 minutes in the freezing cold for the shuttle. All while watching other companies buses come 3-4 times. It’s a good thing I left my husband to get the bags off the shuttle because it was a 2 hour wait for the people in the back! But it wound up being a bait and switch! Booked a 4x4 GMC Acadia or “similar” and was told I was getting a 2 wheel drive Santa Fe...not similar! Up charged me what I thought was $50 a day total for a base model 4x4 Tahoe but after getting my credit card statement found out it was an additional $50 a day. So my $365 bill went to $989?! Still more than should be with up charge with no explanation. Save yourself a lot of time and stress by paying the few extra dollars to use another agency!

Rented from EZ for the first time in Denver. The shuttle kept us for 30 minutes waiting to be taken to the car lot. The car had a significant ding on the windshield and a large dent on the side of the back left door. Inside the rear was covered with dog hair. I booked a mistake, and be warned they do not tell you to walk the car and inspect the vehicle. They tried to blame me for the damages, we will see if they charge me. I expect not to be held accountable for the damages already on the car when I received it. Lastly the tire pressure was 8-10 psi higher than the manufacturer of the tire suggests, which is very dangerous and can lead to loss of control. Overall, don't book with these guys until they sort out what they want to be. A.

They don't call advantage any more ,now they call EZ rent a car, and they move in the terminal with other big name. i rented a car from them for 2 week in February 2017, book through internet. it's one of the lowest price. Before you rent, PLEASE do your homework. They entice you with their low price then they charge you more for other things. First, the lady at the counter told me i need to buy extra liability insurance, and that's mandatory. I refused as, I have rented a car several times and been to Florida before so I am aware of my rights. but she kept insisting that it was mandatory until the man work next to her said that was ok not to buy it. I assume he's the manager. When I asked about the sunpass, she told me they charge $10 a day for the whole rental period with no cap. But their website say $35 a week or 7.99 a day, anyway i know if buy it outside it would only cost me $20 and i can register online. it's a lot cheaper to do it this way, and don't drive without it. because they will charge you $25 + toll for each time when you pass though a toll charge, and there were toll everywhere even in the city. So i would say it " either pay now than later ". Later mean 1 or 2 months later on your credit card. PS: if you decide to buy the sunpass yourself, buy the one with suction cup, not the sticker one, because the sticker one will leave a residue on the windshield , it's very difficult to remove it and you don't have time to do that either. so rather pay a little more than let them charge you whatever.

I made the reservation for $37per day, total $70 for an economy car and they were trying to charge me $52 plus taxes and extra fees total $160. They were very pushy for me to sign their agreement without letting me read all the charges, when I realized I was being charged double, i asked them to let me charge my phone to show them the actual reservation they became mad towards me. The place was empty and the guy helping me said I had to hurry up because he needed to complete the reservation and said he needed to free his computer for other people. (The Place was empty and there were other 5 employees working there). Be aware of hidden fees and they will be acting in a rush to make u sign anything.

The check in process is painfully slow. One obvious problem is under staffing, a common problem throughout our retail community. Compounding the company's problems is the failure to invest in adequate IT resources; specifically POS hardware and software. A comment over heard throughout the almost two hour check out time: 'computer is slow.' Credit card equipment is relied on to select rental options, yet the equipment is painfully slow. The process is redundant. First, the customer is asked to fill out a paper form, indicating what options are desired regarding insurance and other options. Fine but why ask the same questions electronically via the credit card reader? My guess the local server is over taxed and poorly configured. Review of damage to the car should be a walk through with an agent and customer, not a quick two part paper form at the exit. Numbers identifying car locations are worn out and difficult to read.

This place needs to be shut down. I rented from this company about a year ago and they had extremely poorly maintained vehicles. While I was in line waiting for a vehicle, several people came back in to complain about cracked windshield or maintenance light being on. I ended up with one of the last vehicles since they oversold. It had a maintenance light on. By that time, it was either take the vehicle as is, or go to another company that still had vehicles available. Oh! This company was tun from a trailer in a parking lot. I had the displeasure of renting from them again. 30 min to catch a shuttle. 50min to wait for a car with about 20 people ahead of me and 4 workers. Overall, took me about an hour and half to pick up a car. When I left, there was about 50-60 people behind me, lined up out the door. Those poor people probably ended up waiting 2-4 hrs for a rental car.

My mom got in a minor fender bender where someone hit her vehicle last night. Not only was this company hard to get in touch with for details when filing the police report, but also treated my mom like garbage once she finally was able to get intouch with someone. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!! Would not recommend renting from these people if you can avoid it. EDIT: She also reserved a SUV which they didn't have when she arrived so they had to give her a completely different car. Keep in mind the manager was the one handling this entire situation and in the end left my mom stranded without a car at the airport. My mom ended up taking an Uber back to the hotel.

Got the wrong car, so I had to come back the next day to change. They tried to give me the same car at first... The correct car had windshield wipers that could be compared with two blocks of wood trying to get rid of water and the brakedisks was warped. Poor costumer service, said that I was required to have the EZ pass to not get a $25 ticket for each pass. Most tolls could take cash or credit card... Thanks Europcar for using this agency.

Its employee Jules tried to make me pay for a "new policy" that the company has (150 miles +) and I've been renting with the company twice a year in the last 3 years, after I gave him another account number, my charges for the "extra miles" were dropped. When we returned the car, he charged us extra for gas, because the gas tank was completely full, apparently he didnt see it. I always recommended this company for rentals to friends and family, but now, my money will be going somewhere else, where they dont have employees as rude as Jules, trying to take your money for any reason, citing new policies regardless of my history with the company. And if we didnt get the pass the tollway would take a picture of the plates and charge $15 per toll! We were charged for every day we had it, went through ZERO tolls and was never credited. They said "you signed the agreement'. They need to explain more thoroughly so these extra charges are not a complete surprise. Total of $133 in extra charges. I want to make sure new customers know this before signing anything. Unfortunately on the way back to the rental company to drop off the car, our windshield was hit by something that fell off a work truck in front of us. They were very understanding and we still have to pay for the new windshield but at least it wasn't a huge hassle.

Listen carefully, stay away from this place!!!!! They just gave you a lower price and over charge you on other parts. At beginning they told me my total 5 days price would be $250 after tax, then they told me I have to pay a easypass fee for $50 dollars. By the day I returned the car, I ask them if there is other charges, they told me I should be fine. But after 3 days later I back to home, I found out they charge me other $90 dollars I don't even know what that was. So, I end up to paid $390 plus instead $250 they told me at beginning. What a cheater.

This is a fraudulent company. They charged my car Amex $1,800 for a $180 rental. When I disputed the charge they sent Amex documents with forged signatures on it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Used this company for the first time for a trip. Took a few minutes to figure out how to get to the rental place after landing at DEN, but finally figured that there was a shuttle service outside of the baggage area. The staff that assisted me upon arrival to their establishment was friendly and very helpful. I’d shout him out if I knew his name!! I’d use this company again in the future.

Charged additional day, given that extra 45min were agreed The original reservation was from 9/10/2016 4pm until 9/11/2016 4pm. At the counter I asked whether I could rent the car until 9/11/2016 5pm. The EZ employee said it was perfectly fine. So i returned the car on 9/11/2016 at 4:45pm, and I got charged one extra day. When complaining at the counter, the referred that the manager is going to contact me. Since this didn't happen, I call them. Basically they said they are charging me what is on the contract. Have this being disclosed previously, then I would have returned the car earlier. I think this is a ripoff practice. The conflict has ended up resolved to my satisfaction through contact to a manager.

When I arrived in early November, I had made a reservation for a car online many weeks prior. The reservation was completely irrelevant, there was a line of over 100 customers (wrapped around the building) being helped by only 4 employees. The wait was over 2 hours to pick up the car, in a room with no air conditioning and many sweaty bodies. Beyond the wait, when I got to the counter to collect my car, there were several hundred (you read that right, HUNDRED) extra dollars in "service fees" that were not quoted when I booked the car online. It's honestly a really evil thing to do, because I'd already been waiting for hours and was exhausted from travel. If I had walked in, been helped immediately and seen the prices they jacked my rental up to, I probably would've left and gone somewhere else. As it was, I had waited 2 hours and I was leaving that building with a car. Worst service and worst transparency of any business I have ever used in my life. I very rarely leave 1 star reviews, but this was so so so bad. BOOK ANYWHERE ELSE. It's worth the "extra" money because I promise, you will pay as much if not more for a much worse experience at EZ.

So the guy can spin us and up sell us everything under the sun. He, as it turned out lied about needing the toll pass, which was $10 a day. Don't do it... Go elsewhere. This rating is firm until the company reaches out to me and returns the toll charges.

Rented a mustang convertible for our trip to the Florida keys. Car that we were given had huge dents scratches and reeked of smoke. Rear windows would not go up all the way. We were more or less told take car or they had nothing else for us. Next time we will keep with a national chain like hertz or Enterprise. I guess you get what you pay for.

Overall it was a good experience and super affordable. I only payed 156 for the week! But there was a lady upstairs who said it was MANDATORY to purchase there insurance when I asked and initially charged me an extra 150$ plus the 200$ deposit putting my purchase at 500$. I went downstairs and asked the other lady and she told me it was optional so I had to bring my mother up.to confront her and she changed it. She straight lied! (I think she gets commission or something) but anyways it should be refunded as soon as the car is returned but make sure you go in knowing what you have to do and don't have to do because she is a scam artist

I want to write I a nice review but I cant for this place. If you enjoy standing in line for an hour and a half and then not getting the car you reserved then this is the place for you. We reserved a small compact car and were given a Toyota Sequoia, so much for good gas on our long drive. The lady who helped us was nice enough, although she was incredibly slow and un the middle of helping us she got up and went to the bathroom (I guess nature calls). If you value your time and reservations go somewhere else!

If you are a FL Resident do not rent from this company. These days you assume that all car rentals company offer unlimited miles, but people with a Florida license EZ Rent A Car charges over 150 miles. If you are renting to visit family in any part of Florida expect a big charge on your credit card. Now days when you initial rented cars contracts you assume its for the insurance and liabilities not for unlimited miles. The agents do not explain that part on the contract so unless you are one of the very few people that read everything they will get you. I was charge around $300 for a 2 day rental that online was booked for less then $40. Since you initial and signed the contract there is not much you can do. Be careful. If you don't have a Florida license then I guess it should be fine.

Vehicles are poorly maintained. The Toyota Rav 4 I received was keyed, scratched and had a huge cigar burn in the back seat. Did I mention this was the second car I received at that time. The original Subaru they gave me had been hit on the passenger side rear quarter panel. Additionally they charge extra for a spouse driver so be very careful and review your charges and vehicle thoroughly before leaving. If your not satisfied with your vehicle make sure they get you one to your satisfaction. Find another time place to rent they are very sketchy at this place be very cautious and have your radar up when dealing with this company!

If I could leave zero stars I would. I rent cars on a regular basis. This place is horrible. Reserved a Rav 4. Got there they said the Rav 4 wouldn’t work for where I was going, Estes Park. I had never been so I took there word for it. I was given a GMC Yukon for $350 more than the Rav. The vehicle had tons of damage that I noted. Major noticeable damage. Apparently there must have been a small ding on the hood that I didn’t see or note. Upon returning the vehicle the attendant tried to say I had caused hail damage to the vehicle. It did not hail at all while I had the vehicle, It had one ding. I would think if it hailed, as suggested there would be multiple dings. The attendant was yelling at me that I caused damage and was pointing out previous damage that I had marked. He was very unreasonable and rude. I have pictures of the vehicle and the alleged damage. I am hoping that this does not go any further than a rude employee. If I am held responsible for damage that I did not cause. We will be going to court. Unreal!!!!!!!! On top of that there were tons of Ravs and smaller vehicles in Estes Park. It was the perfect bait and switch.

Honestly I had a great experience from when I was checking prices with them and then renting my car which was a TURBO!! (sonic) :) I paid $53 for the one day with toll pass compared to a different company trying to charge $115. The drop off was seamless and quick at 5 am and we were off to catch our plane, got my invoice in my email with a refund of the deposit 45 minutes after dropping off car. Good job EZ!!

Mixed feelings... In St Petersburg Florida we had an amazing experience... Quick... Pleasant BUT in Denver I waited more than 2 1/2 hours from midnight until 2:30 (3:30 am home time) Car rentals really need to get it together. For the amount of money they charge there should be better organization of car rentals. All these people exhausted in the middle of the night just standing and waiting.. and the poor babies and children. The people at the desk were VERY nice and doing their best. But it is not THEIR fault the company is lacking in efficient customer service. Shame on those at the top of the company for not getting it together in this day and age of technology with so many possible opportunities to improve efficiency. This is not just EZ but the entire car rental business. I sure hope it improves. As a teacher.. I can say that his kind of work ethic would never fly in the classroom.

Do yourself a favor a rent from another company, unless you are willing to take a risk and be late for your appointment. This is totally unacceptable, at airport only 1 person working. Actually, wrong, there was nobody at the desk, except for a sign to go across to Advantage, Huge line there and only 1 person working. Another person comes and looks around and after 30 min she goes back across, without letting us know. People that arrived later and went straight to that desk, actually cut the line. Absolutely ridiculous! Instead of making excuses, hire more people at the counter!

Our car broke down on the way to Breckenridge. We were on hold with customer service for 70 min after which we were being insulted stating that we should have purchased roadside assistance and we will be billed for towing! We were also advised to use our private AAA services. Eventually, some supervisor told us that in good faith they will not collect the money for towing. Well, we called AAA. My advice, use bigger company that has more locations and will be more courteous to you. The employee was nice.

When we got there somehow the price jumps up to $800?!?!?! Because they “ upgraded” is from a Nissan Versa to another small car. I was shocked at this price. Ended up going to enterprise for a MUCH better deal.

I initially did business with EZ Rental on a few occasions because of their competitive prices. However, last month while traveling to Denver, my flight was cancelled. I called EZ to let them know and they told me not to worry, that my reservation had a 24 hour grace period. I showed up for my car within the 24 hour period and was told they did not have the car I reserved (and by the way, prepaid $471 for), and that I would have to wait 3 hours to get it. After having flown for 12 hours to 4 cities, I said I did not wish to wait another 3 hours and asked that they give me another car. They were only able to get me the next largest size car, and charged me an additional $83 for an "upgrade". When I questioned the agent about having been promised that my reservation would be held for 24 hours, he responded that "we hold the reservation, not the car." Unbelievable. When I got home, I sent an email to EZ's customer service and they simply did not respond. I have done business with them for the last time.

The only thing I thought was good about this rental place is the price. Till I returned and they charged my credit card $1,190. for 28 days. So, I rescinded my thoughts of them being more economical. I rented to save money and should have spent it somewhere else where customer service was much better. I won't give them a horrible rating on the customer service side because I did not have a horrible experience. It was ok. I definitely would not recommend them to anyone. All I can say is review your contract pricing at time of pick up and drop off. And, look for ad on's and hidden charges.

Pick up went smoothly and the customer service employee was great. The trip went great without any problems. Dropped of the car when I was supposed to and followed their drop off instructions. They said they would email me the final receipt and I left. Come a WEEK later, I get the email. They charged me for FIVE days that I didn't have the car! They were trying to say I didn't return the car for almost a week after I did and even sent me a letter by mail that I was committing a felony..... I RETURNED IT ON TIME! The process to get my money back was so horribly tedious. Needless to say, make sure you have them print you out the final receipt when you drop off the rental. Or... rent from a different place!
