While buying our home we were very pleased with Duane Toro Reality. Our concerns were heard, we were able to continually change our minds regarding what we were looking for and at each change we were continually treated with respect. We were so impressed with how we were treated during our buying process that it was inevitable a few years later that we would also sell our home through the same realtor. We highly recommend using Duane Toro for your home buying/selling needs. We felt that keeping the buyer/seller first is a priority when entering this season. Choosing the right realtor is a process; I recommend using Duane Toro if you're planning on buying/selling your home.

Will never do any kind of business with this company or his realtor Shaun. They would not even put up the promised signage. The do not advertise your property. They think MLS is good enough. They DO NOT believe in open houses. They are rude and lazy. Wasted the best part of the summer with this company. We ended up firing them due to lack of interest on their part in selling our property. The only offers they brought were low ball insulting offers. Toro only showed our property once. Goes to show you they are not even trying to sell your property. When we fired Shaun he became very rude and insulting to my wife. Very unprofessional. When we brought our concerns to Toro Real Estate all we were told is that's not how we run our company but feel free to go find someone else. They will not address client concerns. Shaun makes lots of promises and never delivers. If you want to sell your house DO NOT use Duane Toro Real Estate. I am not sure why anyone would use them.

Duane is a very personable and knowledgable realtor for the Laramie market, but he's old school (= computer illiterate) so all showings are done in person and limited use of the Internet. On the positive side, he has memorized all houses for sale in Albany county, who owns them, why they are selling and who built the house. A walking history lesson !

I spoke with Mr. Toro a few minutes ago. Within a minute, he came across as perhaps one of the most rude agents with whom I've had the displeasure of speaking with. Most obnoxiously, he took offense at the fact that I noted that I'm actively interviewing Realtors to find one that I find comfortable doing business with. So offended was he that I dare ask for an interview, he declined my business. In this business, the customer rules the roost. Not the Realtor with what I believe is an inflated sense of self. If I want to sell my home, I'm certainly not going to hire an agent who talks down to customers, nor will I let my experience be unknown. I'm looking for someone who is a salesman, who places his customer needs ahead of his own ego. I want an agent who is polite, and doesn't insult me with a wisecrack regarding my name. I, personally, will not do business with him.

I have appreciated the efforts made by Duane and his team to make me feel like the sell of our home is a priority. I have received prompt service, professionalism and great advise from one of Laramie's longest and most respected real estate companies. There are a lot of great real estate agents in Laramie.... however choosing Duane Toro was a no brainer for me. I know what to expect and appreciate his honest, straight forward approach. I am ok with "Old School" especially if that means a hand shake and your word are honored! Isn't that what the "Code of the West" is all about?
