We worked with Lana Heike at this agency based on the recommendations of a friend who had purchased their house through Lana. Lana helped us with the stages of looking to find what we wanted to having keys in hand within a month and a half. She was careful to show us houses in our price range but also was encouraging enough to help us stretch outside our comfort zones a little to find the place that we really wanted. Just starting this review seems an awesome task, but then, when I consider my experience with Betsy Schairer at Mike & Sandi Nelson Real Estate, the best word I have is "awesome." I had been looking for a new home for almost a year when I decided to try another real estate company. I found Betsy by accident and am so glad that I did. Then, the buying process began. Sadly, things did not go well. There were issues with the appraiser, with the people handling the loan, and more, but through it all, we persevered, and if it weren't for Betsy's calm demeanor and smart actions, I don't know if this deal would have succeeded. My house price was reduced without my concurrence. I informed Janet I needed to push the date (a few days) to sign off on the house (extenuating circumstances). She didn't communicate that with the buyers and when I reminded her I needed additional time she informed me I'd be sued by the buyers and her agency because the buyers would lose out on the property and she would lose out on commission....long story short, I had a horrible experience and will not recommend this agency to anyone
