My husband and I and another couple went to the Long Beach Peninsula to check out the area for possible relocation (a 2 day drive). When my husband called and made an appointment with Bonnie Carmack, at Lighthouse Realty he made it clear that we were not in a position to purchase at this time but just doing some investigation. We wanted to check out some houses we were interested in to see the area they were located, what was around them and how representative they were compared to the pictures on the internet. I could not remember whether the appointment was at 10 or 10:30 so about 4:00 the afternoon before I called to confirm. She had left her office so I contacted her via cell phone. She did not answer that line either so I left a message. Much to our surprise, she did not call but sent a text that she would be unable to meet with us because she was working with someone else out of the area and to stop by any of their office and perhaps the floor agent can show us around. This is the most unprofessional behavior I have ever experienced from a realtor in 40 years of purchasing and selling homes. If she could not meet with us, she should have set us up with another agent and not just suggest perhaps someone could help us from one of their offices. If I had not called to confirm the time, we would have went to the office the next morning to be stood up by her without even a courtesy notification. What professional does this? Needless to say we contacted another company and are working with another agent. Needless to say, she has lost out on the purchase of two homes in the near future.
