We recently consulted Ryan Pronto to determine if building on to our house would be a viable option in comparison to selling and relocating. Given our rural area we knew selling our house would be a long involved process. Ryan sat down with us and our builder and was able to explain the houses current value and what adding on would make it worth. In the end we decided to relocate.
Ryan had two potential buyers lined up for us within one week of meeting and he essentially had the house sold the day it was listed. We entered this process expecting it to take up to 2 years to see our house due to the location (our perception) so we were not as quick to make changes that we knew needed to be made. Ryan motivated us, frequently checked in with us, and supported us throughout the process. We closed on our house three months after starting the process and never had a for sale sign on the property!
At the same time Ryan helped us find our new home. He considered what we wanted, provided us with a list of options, and met with us on a Saturday to see all four homes in one day. We found our new home within a couple of weeks and, again, he showed the same motivation and support through this process. He truly worked for us getting us a great deal with no worries. We ended up buying and selling our homes within two weeks of each other.
I think we all have worries when making a purchase like this that someone is going to take advantage of you. Ryan is not that person. He is very straight forward, open, and has an excellent work ethic. He is from this area and I think that brings a lot to the table; especially for someone new to Vermont. Not only does he help his client buy and sell but he provides options for lenders, inspectors and contractors who you can trust and depend on.
