As we were then living out-of-state, we had to engage a realtor we could trust and who could handle the myriad details in getting out homes ready to sell and then handling the showings and sales. Babs came through with flying colors! Not only did she sell both our homes (one in one day and the other after less than two weeks on the market), she kept in constant contact with us via phone and email, made all the arrangements for staging and getting the houses ready to sell, closely worked with prospective buyers and their representatives, quickly handled all the paperwork, and facilitated our working with the title company in closing the sales. She handled everything in a highly professional and timely manner. Would not employ their services after considering a home they listed: multiple factual errors/misrepresentations (property tax amount represented as half of actual, square footage exaggerated, construction misrepresented), whether due to negligence or deception. Fortunately obtained accurate information independently. She also confirmed work was done (after many attempts to communicate) that we drove by to verify was clearly NOT, in fact, completed as reported. Trust destroyed.

After deciding to sell my home I had no idea who to use as a realtor. A friend had recently sold her place and highly recommended, Leslye Stratton. I contacted Hugo Johnson several months ago regarding my interest in buying a duplex as an investment. Within a few hours he sent me several listings to view and drive by. Once I had selected the most desirable for my budget and location, he quickly set up an appointment to see the property. He was so helpful in getting all of the documents completed to make an offer and really went the extra mile as we progressed through mountains for paperwork required by the lender and title company. I would highly recommend Hugo to anyone looking for property to purchase as either a primary residence or investment. The hour to sell struck this year. She offered advice based on best sales experience, sometimes whether I wanted to hear it or not, but always made it clear she'd work the problem the way I ultimately chose. She overcame some last minute neighborhood surprises potentially limiting viewers, obtained multiple good offers, guided us successfully through post-offer negotiations, and closed what I think was a win-win for the buyer and us, sales price solidly in the range I had hoped! It would be great if everybody could have Babs in their corner.

I'm not new to home buying (over 10 purchased & sold). Babs De Lay of Urban Utah Homes provided the MOST frustrating, no responsive, & unprofessional experience. She was unresponsive to requests for info & documentation. Information was withheld. She wouldn't even bother to provide keys and garage door openers at time of closing. She couldn't be bothered. FYI, she's the Broker here, steer clear of this company.
