Terrible customer service! If I could give them 0 stars, that is actually what they deserve. They double charged my account, to get the security code for viewing one of their properties. If they can't be bothered, to show a property...if they charge potential clients, just to view a property of interest, and then they keep an overcharge fee,...why would their "M.O." change once you moved into one of their rentals?

Dont waste your time with this property management company. They promise to fix things and months later they still havent even bothered to show up despite repeated phone calls and emails. Save your time and money and rent from a reputable property management company. One star is more than this company actually deserves.

Celeste and her counterpart Justin did a fantastic job with the sale of our home. As soon as we met, they knew we needed to sell fast as we were moving immediately, and they gave us a list of exactly what we needed to do to get the house in shape for pictures. They had a great photographer come out and take pictures and even a drone video of the property; all of which was posted immediately online. Within 3 days we had competing offers on the home, and got under contract for more than our asking. While my wife and I were across the country starting our new careers, Celeste helped us handle everything needed to get the repair list completed and the house ready to sell. She regularly checked on the home, and had access to inexpensive and quality resources to get everything done ASAP. She and Justin helped make our moving process so much less stressful than we were expecting. I cannot recommend her enough.

Horrible company. Took money from me and provided no service. Can’t talk to anyone they only have an answering service. Everything is done through email. And they have excuses for everything. But you don’t have to take my word for it, just look at their poor Google reviews. Find another company. I went with LFM Properties. Actually talked to a real person at LFM. Can you believe that a real person..

One star is three too many.... After being shown a place for rent, I was told to fill out an online application and had to pay the back round check fee. So I did.... The very next day, i was told that the property was going to be rented to someone else. I asked if they had anything else for rent, since I filled out the necessary paper work and payed a lot of money for backround checks. I was told there was indeed a another place and I could come pick up the key to look at it. When I got to their office, they told me that I was not eligible to rent that place either because of my dog..... complete waste of time and money

We have had an excellent experience with Marchant Company. We are currently home renters while we have a home built and have been very pleased with the timely response we get from this management company and the property owner on any of the minor concerns we have had. The maintenance is completed by reputable service persons in a timely fashion and the Marchant staff is both friendly and professional. We especially like the Tenant online portal for rental payments and communication. We highly recommend Marchant Company.

This is the worst company I have a deal with they are not responsible they don't check the house before they give you the keys and then they charge you for any damage that was previewed there, I would never recommend anybody to deal with you guys.... you are very irresponsible... my deposit was $1,200 and you gave me back $752 .50 for a dirty carpet... hope people realize what kind of company are you guys before they get in business with you....

I agree with all of the other reviews. Marchant property management is managing a property that is being remodeled behind my home. The house’s fence was recently replaced and as a result, all of the old chain link fence that was replaced as well as large tree branches that were trimmed was dumped into my back yard. I called to complain and after being passed from person to person, I was finally told by Gayle, the property manager that they would get to it when they would get to it and that they would NOT be making a special trip out to clean up the mess. When I expressed concern over my small children playing near the rusty pile of fencing on my property she told me to have them play somewhere else. ITS MY YARD. I've owned my home for 6 1/2 years and have never had a problem in our neighborhood. Finally after exhausting all other efforts, I told Gayle I was going to call Code Enforcement because what happened was considered illegal. Her response to me was "Go Ahead." I have never encountered such a rude, unprofessional "manager" in my life. She should work for the DMV or IRS instead of a rental company that boasts "Great customer service" as one of their mottos. It baffles me how she still has a job. The mess in my yard was only cleaned up after I posted a note on the door of the house and a contractor was nice enough to come move all of the debris. I will NEVER use or rely on Marchant Property management for ANY of my future real estate needs. *** After being asked to remove my negative online review by a lawyer representing Marchant Property Management, I would like to clarify that Marchant does NOT own the home being remodeled. They are the "property management" company for this home

Marginally competent. If you are looking for an experience fraught with difficulties, this is the place to find it. Use a nationally recognized real estate firm. This is a small town, inbred firm with questionable business practices.

Absolutely love the folks at Marchant Company Real Estate. My husband and I recently purchased our first home with their assistance. They were quick to return calls and emails, day or night including weekends. They accompanied us all over Greenville and surrounding areas looking at houses for weeks until we found the one. Their wisdom and guidance was second to none. Would recommend them to friends and will look forward to using them again for all real estate needs.

Kelly has always rapidly responded to any requests for service and makes immediately makes arrangements for contractors to complete repairs. When inquiring about our account she has been professional and percise with all accounting. Five star rating!

EXTREMELY difficult to get a time set up to view any home with them, I text back and worth with Charlotte which would not show the home unless the time was convenient to her, when I mentioned that we both worked till 5 her response was "send someone else in your place" WHY when I want to see a house I could be living in? If you're looking to rent your house out DO NOT pick this company because they will NOT show your house unless its convenient for them.
