Honestly if I could give no stars I would. I have worked with this company twice the first time went well (2010) the recent (2015) left much to be desired. They did not have any follow through on getting my house sold (never posted signs or told neighbors), they claimed they worked harder than they did (could not even used a rag to clean up after the workers they were supposed to watch but did not left a mess), and the commission is not up for negotiation (%6). I am reporting them to the better business bureau. Be cautious, I feel they are much better to buyers than sellers.

Having lived in Columbia for a year, I was in the market to purchase a home. As a first-time home-buyer, I naturally had some reservations and lots of questions running through my mind. Jill Moylan set me up with regular house updates matching the location, price point and size of the home I was looking for and we were able to find several matches within a week. Thanks to her wide network of mortgage brokers, closing attorneys and inspectors, the entire buying process took just about 30 days and went smoothly as ever . I was always provided an extensive list of professionals to call, ranging from inspectors to chimney sweepers and tree specialists, and each and every time I called one of them, they were happy to know that I was a client of Home Advantage as they knew they are a professional team and don't waste any time. Ms. Moylan was also extremely courteous with lots of expertise in the Columbia and Richland County area and was able to guide me in the direction of where I would want to live and what type of home I would enjoy. She was not pushy at all and was there when I needed her. Always on top of emails, calls and inspection letters, she was able to get everything done and the final purchase price well below the going rate along with several included perks such as a full year homeowners warranty and several other additions that were not part of the original sale. She literally moved heaven and earth to ensure we could still close on the sale of our house in the wake of Columbia's recent, terrible flooding.
