My husband and I moved to Bend, OR in June of 2012 and as first time homebuyers, were a little nervous about the whole process until we met Sean. Sean took the time to sit down with us to get a clear understanding of our parameters and what we were looking for. He was in constant communication about new listings and did an excellent job at showing us homes that met our expectations. I particularly like the time that Sean took to talk with us about the homes we were looking at to get an even better understanding of what styles and aspects we tended to favor. He kept the search diverse while respecting our wishes. Sean ended up exceeding our expectations by showing us a house that had just came back on the market before anyone could snag it. It was a short sale and he was able to make everything happen within 3 months! As of September, we are happy to say we own a beautiful home! I would recommend Sean to anyone. He is professional in his conduct and will be honest about the market and your options. If you are looking to buy a home in Bend, Sean Barton is the way to go!

I bought my Bend home in April of 2012. The market at the time was full of cash buyers and investors creating multiple offer situations and a general stressful environment. (Not to mention all the short-sales and foreclosures). I had another real estate agent before Sean who was not helping me out very much, and then I switched to Sean. He was great. He was always a phone call, text, or email away for all my questions. He was also very proactive and would send me listings everyday that he thought met my requirements for a house (which were pretty strict). We had some setbacks and had one deal fall through, but ended up finding the perfect house for a great deal. He was incredibly helpful throughout the escrow process as well; working with me, my bank, and the seller to move things along. Long story short?
