We had a great stay again at Sun River. Mountain Resort Properties is very responsive and helpful in seeing to any need or questions prior to and during our stay. Sun River is a favorite vacation destination for us. It's a 6/7 hour drive from our home, but we make it a priority to grab a week there every year. This year we actually were able to rent the home that had been ours for a 10 year time frame during the years of raising our family. So...we got to enjoy having our grandchildren stay with our son, wife and us for a special nostalgic week! See you again next year .

10 Klamath Ln worked well for our group dinner meeting recently as it has an open floor plan that accommodated our needs well. At least one extra kitchen garbage can liner would have been helpful though. I had meetings elsewhere too so I wasn't in the home very much. Comfortable stay though. Thanks!

This is our 2nd experience renting from mountain resort properties. Last September we brought both of our children their spouses and our 4 grandchildren. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Of course it's easy to leave a good review and speak highly about a company when everything goes right. But what about when it doesn't. That's when a company shows their true colors. This time my wife and I rented a small house for ourselves. The pictures on the Internet made it look very nice. However, Upon our arrival we were very disappointed. It was a very rustic cabin. Just not at all what we were looking for. I immediately called the office and talked to Brody. Brody immediately went into action looking for other properties that were available. He called me back and a couple of minutes with a recommendation. He was spot on. It was exactly what we were looking for. No fuss no muss no extra charges. What's more they had it ready for us in minutes! Thank you Brody! And thank you mountain resort properties!You have our business for life!

It took us three hours to get the keys to our condo after office hours. We did recieve any information about how to get our key out of the lock box. All of their office phone numbers led to a voice mail. I had to contact our travel agency and they were able to eventually get a hold of someone at mountain resort properties inc. We spent four hours traveling from Portland, OR to Sunriver and then another three hours trying to figure out how to get our keys. Very stressful, to say the least...

Quail 5 at Sunriver OR. The home is very convenient to the scharc pool. The home was nice, as long as you overlook the old carpets. Fridge needed a new small shelf they tried fixing before we got there but was not holding up. 2 king King beds and 1 queen great for 3 couples. Master King very firm. Cannot count on bikes being in good condition. Oven display hardly readable one day, but worked the next. Mountain properties was very good to work with.

We rented Snow Goose Lodge from Sunday June 23 to Friday June 28 and the home was beautiful and the setting was beautiful and Mountain Resort staff were kind and helpful. HOWEVER, the house itself had a few drawbacks that need attention: 1)yard unusable because of overgrown grass 2)kitchen poorly stocked with pots and pans (a few there in poor condition--I had to buy some from Goodwill) 3) living room furniture shabby and uncomfortable 4)pillows stained and flat Apart from that, we had a lovely time in Sunriver, OR.

Wished we'd have looked at reviews for this company (and not just for the house at MRP's own website) before booking Sparks 4, a large house for a 7 night family reunion. Arrived at house to find dirty floors, various lights & thermostat not working, much-stained LR carpeting, exterior appearance very run down and poorly maintained (paint raised, cracked & peeling from siding, decking and railings, gutters overflowing with pine needles, decking black with grime, front sidewalk broken up, rat trap in corner of front entry, etc). Called office for add'l interior floor cleaning as toddlers would be arriving next day, cleaner was sent but floors still dirty afterwards (i.e. wet paper towel swipe on kitchen floor still comes up dark brown), some lights still out, no note or follow-up from manager or office. Hot tub hadn't been chlorinated, water murky, tech came and said total water replacement needed because it had been "undermaintained" for too long (=no use for 1 day of rental). After stay, letter to manager resulted in no response other than generic "come again" email offering 5% discount on future stays, no reference to list of deficiencies. MRP's description of house says "memories of your stay here will last a lifetime": yes and for all the wrong reasons! Never again, MRP.

Mt. Resort is the best place to rent a home for a stay in Sunriver, OR. The owners and their staff treat you just like family. We have always been treated exceptionally well. They have a wide selection of homes they represent and we have rented several as our family has grown over the years. Can't imagine renting from anyone else. They are simply great!

As a former employee the summer of 2017, and other years with various companies in Sunriver It is always interesting to peruse the SunRiver Vacation home sites, knowing allot about the various companies and facilties they maintain. Maintaining other peoples homes is a very demanding task with lots of give and take regarding how facilities are maintained, what you can spend money on for repairs and trying to give guests the best bang for their Bucks as you can, while maintaining excellence vacationers expect. Older homes as most Sunriver homes are in one of the harshest environments in this hemisphere , coupled with guests, some of whom treat them very kindly and others who do there very best to leave them in aweful condition and creates a demand on company crews to accomplish the near impossible to get them user friendly and nice at a frantic pace to keep pace with demand !!! The owner/ operators of this company and their employees are very talented and capable people who always go the extra mile to maintain and appease and cater to every need and demand busy vacationers have; not the least of which can be unrealistic at times considering weather, personal timing and acts of God and property age that creates breakdowns beyond anyones control !!!!!! They may not be "Perfect" , but they are as expert as one can be given the tasks they perform daily, and often in the middle of the night for your user pleasure ! So the next time you have a complaint cut em some slack and try to be part of the solution and not part of a problem made worse by an attitude of shoulda, coulda, woulda !!!! Great attitudes are always more helpful than sourpuss ones !!! We Love Central Oregon and hope you will too !!!! Everyday is an important day; one you will never have again! So I don't write reviews often and if I do they are usually to convey my dissatisfaction, however for once I am writing a review where I am beyond satisfied! My family and I were traveling from California to Oregon with 3 young kids in the back. 10 hours of driving was enough for us and so we stopped in lapine. We looked everywhere for a hotel-no luck. After searching for an hour online and driving around like a zombie, we found the only place with vacancy. I am not kidding, this motel was the nastiest place I have ever slept and nothing worked inside, plus there was no toilet paper! Oh and it also cost us $180 for the night! Ok fast forward to tomorrow. We drove up the street to sun river where we were visiting some friends and we decided to try and find a place to stay in the morning so we wouldn't run into another disaster like the night before. After some searching, I promise you, it's as if we won the lottery finding the place we stayed at in sun river. #1. Sandra and Scott were super kind and welcoming to their vacation rental. #2. It was beyond clean and stocked with all the supplies needed (toilet paper, towels, etc.), #3. This place is beautifully landscaped and very well maintained. #4. It cost us less than the dump we paid for the night before! For the money you get 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, games, books, etc. not just 4 walls and a room. I can tell you this, moving forward, I will always try to book Sandra and Scott's place. It's well worth it!

We have used Mountain Resort Properties for two visits to Sunriver, and I am sure we will rent through them again. My family and I have stayed in two great homes of varying sizes, both in great locations and excellent condition. Homes were clean and comfortable, and both included SHARC passes (a must!). Mountain Resort Properties sent very clear check-in and check-out instructions and provided excellent service on site. We're fans!

Stayed for 1 week at 17 Red Cedar Lane in Sunriver. The property was as described and just perfect for the 11 people in our party. The house was very clean and comfortable and had all the amenities as detailed on the VRBO listing. The location was perfect and we had a fantastic stay. We would definitely recommend both the house and Mountain Resort Properties.

We stayed at Blue Goose in July 2016. I was unhappy with the management of the property. We were promised 2 bikes and only had one upon arrival. The garage door wasn't working and they promised multiple times that someone would be right out to fix it. Never was fixed.

We stayed at 5 Modoc, it was clean and spacious and in a convenient location close to the Sharc and the Village! The electronic door lock made it convenient to get into the unit upon check-in (after-hours) and for coming and going throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend staying at this unit

This condo was very nice well furnished. this place is right around the corner from the sharc and right down the road from the village. Makes it really easy to walk to everything! Close to the mountains and bend. We will definitely come back!

While the house at 13 Loon Ln is nice and the view is awesome the amenities leave a lot to be desired. The heating system sucks and we roasted on the main floor and froze in the lower lever, unfortunately, where all the bedrooms and showers are so it was VERY miserable. There is a wood stove and wood is provided;however they don't even put wood in the area of the house where it is supposed to be kept. You have to haul it up 2 flights of steps yourself. There was a dead bird on the roof clearly visible from one of the windows that was very disturbing to small children in our party. The hot tub is old, has no pillows, was not running right and then got way to hot and they blamed us for it not functioning property. The coffee pot was disgusting and the timer only worked on it part time so you never really knew if your coffee was going to be done or not. The house came with SHARC passes which was part of the appeal; however, the day we decided to use the pool it was closed with no notice at all to us as guests that it would be. We could have planned our time accordingly if they would have mentioned that. I contacted the property manager about all of these issues and instead of owning any of them he made excuses, left and right. Never owned the heat issue, blamed us for the hot tub overheating, said we should be happy because we got a discounted rate, and was not willing to refund any portion of our fees to compensate us for the problems we had. Very poor customer service. When you pay that much for a rental house you expect it to be in perfect working order. It is unbelievable how many rental properties really don't care if the house meets any standards. They just want to collect the rent, do as little as possible and reap the benefits while others pay their mortgage off. Very sad.

This home was a wonderful place to stay - quiet and away from all the hubbub but a short distance to all the activity. Nestled in the trees on a cul-de-sac, it has a fantastic spacious raised-up deck with a hot tub that was glorious. We had a crackling fire on cold nights, lots of breeze from the many windows on warm days, and rode the bikes provided to Benham Falls on the numerous trails that lead everywhere! It was very accessible and so nice not to have to carry a key because of keyless entry. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there, and because of the open layout, it's very easy for a group of people to sit around and interact while preparing meals. Overall, it was just a lovely place to hang out.

My family and I spent four days in Sunriver at a home, Tamarack 13, rented through Mountain Properties. Upon arrival, the home was immaculate and stocked with everything needed for our stay. During our stay, we were comfortable with 8 guests. With the great weather, we particularly enjoyed the decks and barbecue. We look forward to returning next year.

I am updating my post and rating because of Mountain Resort Properties' response and follow up to my initial post. As I mentioned in my original post, Mountain Resort Properties made our check-in very easy, they had good customer service, and they tried dealing with my concerns as best as possible at the time. Since my post, Mountain Resort Properties has contacted me and apologized for the condition of the house and assured me they will be conducting a thorough cleaning. The next family to stay in 5 Lark should have a better and significantly cleaner experience. ----------------------------------------------- My initial rating of 2 stars was specific to the cleanliness of 5 Lark. Let me explain. It has become tradition to spend the holidays in Sunriver. This year my family and I stayed in 5 Lark from 12/22/18 to 12/26/18. We did NOT have any pets with us, but upon our arrival we quickly realized there was dog hair all throughout the house. My 8 month-old daughter was crawling on the floor and when we picked her up, she had dog hairs in her mouth and all over her clothes. I called the office the next morning and explained the situation. The lady at Mountain Resort Properties was very understanding and appolegetic, and was able to get a cleaner over to the house that morning to vacuum again. The cleaner came by 15 minutes later and re-vacuumed the house. It was very appreciated that the cleaner stopped by, but a quick vacuum did not make that much of an impact. Over the course of our stay we dealt with pet hair on the back of the toilets, on the bathroom floors and rugs, in the towels and bedsheets, all over the carpet, and most disgusting was the dog hair on the dishes, inside the microwave and inside the refrigerator. We made an effort to keep the carpets as clean as possible by having everyone remove their shoes at the front door. However, our kids clothes were brown after we let them play on the carpet. On top of that, the cookware was still greasy when we went to cook with it (an inconvenience, but something we could remedy ourselves by washing the pots and pans before using them). There were a lot of positive aspects to this home (the number of bedrooms, multiple living spaces, a formal dining room, island in the kitchen, lots dishes and cookware/bakeware, a working fireplace and hot tub) but the amount of pet hair that was left behind really overshadowed the positive aspects. Unfortunate this experience has caused me to rethink renting a home through Mountain Resort Properties. I give them very high marks for making check-in easy, their customer service, and dealing with my concerns promptly, but I will never stay at 5 Lark again nor will I recommend it to friends or family. I'm not opposed to staying in pet friendly homes, but for the price of the cleaning fee (especially when pet owners are expected to pay more), I truly had higher expectations. I think 5 Lark is in dire need of a thorough deep cleaning.

Good location and house design is good for blended families. House is starting to show some wear and there is some deferred maintenance that should be addressed. Biggest is lightning in garage...none now...so night time movement is haserdess. Dryer is missing filter and there are exposed wires that could pose a fire hazard. New cover for hot tub is nice addition.

We stayed at Poplar 6 during Thanksgiving and the house was great, very clean, well equipped, comfortable, quite surroundings, very well located, and the Management at the Sunriver Resort was outstanding. Will be back.

This trip included 2 Great Grandparents, 2 Grandparents, Two sets of parents and three little ones. The layout worked for us all. This house has many nice features. Two nice size bedrooms downstairs and a Jack and Jill bathroom and a half bath/laundry. Two large bedrooms upstairs with full bath. Each one had a patio deck. All bedrooms had their own TVs. Hot tub and enclosed patio off the garage we didn't use. Instead we liked the patio in the front (patio furniture stored in garage). This allowed us to enjoy the scenery and watch the kids play in the 'yard'. The house had no AC, but we found it wasn't needed as the house was in the shade most of the day. Now the cons: Single very long driveway we thought would be great for the kids to ride their scooters and tricycles while we watch from the front patio. But the 4 cars took up most of the space. Always a juggle to move cars when someone wanted out. House sleeps 10, but cooking for 10 wasn't going to happen with the small pans available. Good thing we brought our own crock pot and griddle. A big pot for boiling corn was available but the next size down was too small. Small skillets and no lids. Didn't find a container to make juice. Large enough kitchen but very limited cabinets. Shelves were available in the garage and in the laundry room that we used for our food. Careful with the drawers. When pulled out, they fall. No handrail for half of the stairway. I found this very dangerous, especially when house was shaded. No mattress pad on one of the beds. Just sheets. Other queen bed was made up with king size sheets and put on sideways! BBQ hadn't been clean in a long time. When we turned it on, it caught fire down below the grates. After cleaning it, we were finally able to grill our dinner. Kids toys ended up under the couch. When we retrieved them, we were shocked to see the dirt. Cobwebs in the window tracks. I mentioned a few of these issues to the Rental company and was told deep cleaning is only done at the end of the season. As the cleaners only have a limited it time to get the house ready for the next renters. All in all, we enjoyed staying in this house. But we will come more prepared with supplies next time.

The house was the perfect size for our large extended family. The layout was great giving lots of choices of places to visit, relax, etc. The house was also clean. There were not enough towels for 14 people. They provided only 2 dish towels and 3 dishwasher detergent pods for 14 people staying 7 nights! The beds were horrific! We went into Bend and bought mattress toppers so we could enjoy our stay. The furniture was also very old, some broken, and extremely uncomfortable. Although the house was great, we would not stay there again.

Rented 23 Poplar — nice enough home, Arrived to find no screen doors on either large sliding glass doors along back of home, an important feature for cooling in evenings/mornings in a home with out A/C. Gas grill looked as if it had never been cleaned. 2/4 bikes useless w/broken gear cables. Took several phone calls to really just be provided with nothing but excuses. Apparently the guests before us broke one of the screens, well what about the other one that was missing that we actually found in the garage several days into our stay behind the owners car that is housed in the garage. It had a tear in it, but we did put that up as it gave us one door to utilize for cooling although it had a tear, better than nothing. The mobile bike repairs showed up the evening before our departure so at least the next guests would have four useable bikes. Management says bikes aren’t guaranteed. We did bring some of our own, but hey isn’t part of managements job to inspect for things like broken bikes, screen doors (seems management should have known one door was in garage) in between guest visits and have repairs in the works? Also when someone did come to clean the grill (several days into the visit) they left the debris in a pile in front of the grill on the deck. We cleaned it up. I have rented vacation homes in sunriver and black butte (and other places all over US) and this is the first time I will not rent again from a company because of issues. I wish I could let the owners of the home know so they could consider who they partner with for their property management needs cause I’d be livid if I was them. Do yourself a favor rent through anyone, but Mt. Resort Properties. Useless management-no offer whatsoever of any compensation.

September 24, 2015 "Our first interaction with the office was the beginning of a great vacation. Not only were you able to adjust my dates when I messed up the number of nights but when I arrived there were no issues and check in was ready early for us. I love the lock system and the mobile app. it allowed us to get in and out without issues and we did not have to keep track of a house key. The house itself was very clean and felt like home to the kids. The amenities were just enough for us as well. the hot tub was fun, the tv an cable suited the kids for down time and the internet access let my daughter get her homework done. The location was excellent, easy to get back to 97 and to the activities we found on the mobile app. Thank you again for a wonderful family vacation." ~Gabriel Maldonado

The folks running Mountain Resort were really nice. Unfortunately, we had to go to the office several times. Basic ingredients to an “easy” vacation we’re missing from our house. We rented for a week, for 14 people, and there was literally 3 rolls of paper towels, no can opener, a shortage of silverware, lack of towels and about 10 rolls of toilet paper. We had a lot of laughs at the fact that basic supplies were lacking, and while we ended up getting our own stuff after they supplied us with 3 more token rolls of TP at the front office...good grief. We try to always prepare when going on vacation, but this was the first time we stayed at Sunriver and felt like the folks managing the homes were being super cheap to save a few bucks. The house itself was almost fine, a few sink drains were clogged, and a toilet was seeping onto the floor. The plumber came and said he’d have to order a part, left without fixing the problem. The leak continues. Oh, and neither of the bikes worked. Yikes. Tires flat when we showed up and tires went flat almost immediately. Just don’t supply bikes if that is the condition you want to keep the equipment. Anyway, I don’t complain often in reviews, but we gave a chance to make it right and this just wasn’t up to par with each of our other annual stays at Sunriver. We’ll come back, but avoid this house and avoid Mt. Resort Properties to get back to a better experience.

We stayed at 4 Malheur and could not have asked for a better place. The location is one of the best in all of Sunriver and the home was more than enough for our needs. The outdoor patio is amazing as it looks out to the golf course and there are no neighbors to be seen from the backyard as the home is situated at the end of the culdesac and at an angle that makes you feel very isolated. Great home and great experience using Mountain Resort Properties.

So far, our stay has been very comfortable. Nearly all amenities of home are available here. Our house is missing the stereo. Perhaps the last guests helped themselves to it. Other than that. One minor detail, our stay has been lovely.
