Working with Tom was a great experience from start to finish. From the beginning he was helpful in giving me a better understanding of the Portland neighborhoods and what each had to offer by taking me on tours of neighborhoods as well as homes. As I got a better sense of what I was looking for we narrowed the search and I found my dream home. He was informed and thoughtful about what was the right amount to offer, he was right. The sellers accepted. He's a total pro with many years of experience. Throughout the escrow period he checked in regularly to make sure I fully understood the process and next steps. I was from out of town and I needed someone who really knew Portland -- especially the Woodstock area. Initially I had another realtor who just wasn't doing much for me and was only interested in showing me her listings. I quit that one and found Tom who was ideal. He kept me up do date on new listings and would even go over and see them and take pictures for me because I was out of town. I really appreciated his honesty and he would not try to play down a problem with a house just to make a sale. We found the perfect house close to Reed College. Again, since I was out of town he did a lot of the leg work for the sale helping to be the go between us and the seller on repair work. After the sale he continued to help me with arranging and recommending workmen to get the house in shape for the move in. If I were to sell this house I'd absolutely would give it to Tom to sell. He always called or emailed back and I felt I could trust his judgment. Tom is a nice guy who works hard and isn't pushy. I'd strongly recommend him to any prospective client.

He gave me excellent advice and guidance when looking at an older home and supported me as I backed out of the transaction due to the sellers unwillingness to fix something.
