I very very rarely review products let alone people but I can’t go without saying how great this man is to work with, I am the owner of a rental house in Yukon and we started out renting it out on our own for a couple of tenants and wow what a headache that was, we got referred to Armand from another RE/MAX employee and I can honestly say it was the best referral we got, from finding tenants to getting repairs and maintenance done he has been able to get things accomplished in a very timely manner, within budget and with excellent results, I have only had dealings with Armand as a property owner so I can only give an honest review from that perspective but I can say he is great to work with and always has been very helpful and does his job as a property manager and is a professional.

I’ve lived in my home for almost 5yrs, I’ve not been very consistent in rent, Remax Agent Mr. Burleigh has been extremely helpful and paitient. I’ve had several slum lords when I was in a better position financially and had even hated the idea of landlords and property management. I'm currently a tenant at one of their properties. We always are early or on time paying our rent. As well have been leasing for almost a year. At first Armond was awesome speacially when we decided to start our application and getting us into the property. A month or two passed and we noticed there was a lot of wood ants crawling out from the floor boards. We reported it but we never got a response in that work order. We eventually used home remedies like cinnamon to help with the insects. A few months after we had a rodent problem and it turned out to be there was a lot of wholes in one of the rooms and the kitchen. My husband decided to take care of the issue himself since they seemed not care from the first insect issue we had. We got it all taken care of being rodent free. Other works orders were taken care of but we had to always expedite since they were more serious like our electric wasn't working and no it's wasn't because our electric bill wasn't paid. It was the power box. One of the power switch had stopped working. They got a electrion the next day. The property eventually was put on sale and as tenants we were asked to keep our scheduale opened for people to come and look at the property. We weren't very happy about it but we understood. As any winter passes we had a lot of sickness happen in my family and they seemed to act like it was a issue. I understand they needed to sell the property but my kids come first. Plus we pay rent to be able to have a home where my kids can feel safe and heal when sick. The property eventually got sold and we were told that rent will go up. The home is in the same condition as we moved in. Nothing was put in to make the living state better for the tenant even though we told our landlord the windows let in a lot of cold air and his response was well we can replace that but your rent will increase more. Which we understood and we make it work by trying to keep our home warm as best as possible during winter. But the problems started when we submitted a work order for our toilet and we get back charged for $75 stating that we didn't let them in. First of all we didn't get a call so I call the property manager about it and no answer. We leave always a voice mail because he doesn't answer so at that point I send a text message and he says I'll talk to Pat. No reply so I message him for a follow up and his reply is didn't you get a email? I'm here like I didn't know I was going to get a email from you guys so, I check my email and it's a invoice from Pat stating we missed two appointments and that from now on any missed appointments we would get back charged. I explained to her we didn't get a call to ask for entry. The guy showed up early in the morning and left a card. Her response was, well from now on we do back charge and said to talk to Armond. I text message him and his response is haven't you checked the invoice and I said yes and try to explain we didn't get a call and he just ignored me. I also asked when we would get our lease renewal since April would be coming up soon. No response meaning he can't give a rats behind. So at that point I noticed this people don't care they just want their payment so I gave them their payment. And I still haven't heard anything about my lease renewal. Since I can't get their attention through a phone call maybe I can through a review. I guess it's time to look for a new home rental. Thank you for reading my very long review. Heads up before leasing their properties please check for bugs and rodents. Look out for wholes around the siding of floors and inside kitchen cabinets. Hope that helps

They'll put on a good show at the beginning, but don't let it fool you. They are lazy. I wanted to be involved with my property, but it was always difficult to get a hold of my property manager. I spoke with his voicemail more than him. When my first tenants moved out, I was in another state. I came back to find the rental a mess. Nothing had been cleaned. I did not receive this information at the end of lease walk through. I was also supposed to receive a video at the end of the lease walk through and I did not receive that either. Had I received that, I would have seen how dirty the house was and that my thermostat had been changed without my knowledge and would have charged the tenants for cleaning! After discussing this with him, along with other issues I had with him, like his breach of contract, he got the house cleaned. Apparently whoever he got to clean the house just mopped the floors so it looked like they had cleaned. There were noodles on the carpet that had not been vacuumed and hair in the bathroom drain. He breached the contract by not observing the quarterly walk through that we had signed a contract on. Also, after the tenants moved out, I had to switch the gas, water, and electric, myself even though I was paying him to manage the property. This occurred well after the tenants moved out and his excuse was that he thought they were coming back. However, their lease was well up and they were moved out. I tried to contact the manager multiple times. Apparently he cant return a phone call either. There are many other companies that will do business with you for the same percentage and will work hard for you. My new property manager will actually communicate with me. I am very happy I switched and would never recommend ReMax. I no longer pay for a property managers excuses. I am no longer being taken advantage of.

Armand and his staff manage a rental property of mine. He takes great care of my cute old house and finds quality tenants who seem to care. That house means a lot to me and like I said, it's older. When the tenants put in a work order, Armand is quick and cost efficient at getting quality work done. There is a great line of communication and I trust him.
