Anyone moving to a location where Michael Biddinger Real Estate is in charge of the HOA, I'd advise you look elsewhere, unless you're okay with nothing ever getting done in a timely manner. As with most HOA's, they are responsible for maintaining and repairing the exterior of the apartments and condos, but such is not necessarily the case for this business. We've been dealing with a raccoon infestation in our attic for over a month and nothing has been done to remedy the issue. They are so loud we have been forced to sleep on the first floor, and the smell of urine coming through the ceiling has caused us to have to shut off one of our rooms completely. After calling repeatedly for several weeks, our messages have been unreturned, we, along with our 6 other neighbors affected, have decided to pay out of pocket to take care of the situation the HOA has chosen to ignore. It seems that like most HOAs, they call when it's time to pay your dues and then they disappear.

Pest & Animal Control is actually the responsibility of the home owner. The only thing the HOA would be responsible for is common areas in the complex. I also had an issue like this in the community we lived in and we learned the hard way that we were responsible to pay for this. It sucks that your HOA didn't at least get back to you so you could take care of it on your own sooner! Hope everything worked out for you guys. The agents who are in this office are great! Don't let the ratings discourage you!!!
