They never ever fix things when you ask them too, always send you 3 day notices to move out even though you have all paper work and receipts to show that you have payed everything . Always charging you late fees even though again you show them that you pay on time . Total rip off!

Things were fine under our original property manager, but when she got pregnant and brought ERA in, things just weren't good. Multiple ignored/or severely delayed maintenance requests, they posted our rent late once and tried to charge US a late fee, even though I was logged on and ready to pay rent on the due date, needing reminded to post credits to our rent from repairs we eventually did ourselves because we were tired of waiting, trying to charge us rent after we didn't re-sign our lease, and now telling us we are responsible for the property even though we have been moved out for over a month now. Their communication is clearly not good and their organizational abilities aren't any better. Would not recommend.

Well Donny and Dray is very rude I've been with them 3 years now and I've had nothing but problems with then they keep saying I owe money when I have paper receipt showing I owe nothing to them. but one day my heat went out took them a minute to fix . Then last summer my ac went out two days later my stove went out to and it took them 2 months to fox them so I called the city yeah well that got all bad they didn't like thsyto well I went to pay my rent and they was trying to charge me for a paper receipt showing I paid rent lol um no thanks I'm not paying but I did get a video showing me paying rent and talking to them about it

I rent from them. I’ve had MULTIPLE things that no one will call about. Maintenance just says “I’ll make a note I’m your account to have them call you” still nothing. MY FURNACE WENT OUT LAST NIGHT AND ITS COLD. ITS WARMER OUTSIDE THEN IN MY HOUSE. It’s march. The heat needs to work. It’s been 14 hours since I first called about it and nothing has happened. Reasonably priced.... but not worth the stress you have. The house has holes EVERYWHERE (in the walls, and structure) and mice get in. I called 2-4 weeks ago, and nothing has happened.

This place totally screwed me on my rental property. They fixed nothing in a timely manner, you pretty much have to harass them in order for anything to get done. Not to mention they go behind your back any chance they get. I hope that most have the complete opposite experience I had with this place, BUT mine was an absolute nightmare!

It's funny they promised my brother for new kitchen flooring when he moved in and signed his lease 3 weeks ago ,because the floor durning the viewing of the property it was stained with dirt no matter how many bottles of awsome,bleach,or kaboom we used and its cracked his toddler has now tripped on a cracked tile and busted her lip. when we call maintenance which never responds they are now saying they have to get funding for the floor we sent pictures as they asked now it's another story they will tell you anything to get you moved in then do nothing it seems Mr.Johnson at 2033 grasmere needs reliable people not another slum lord he's a single father you can tell him anything but not big sister once this is addressed I will be more then happy to update/edit the review

My husband and I rented from them for a year and a half. I’ve never had a worse rental experience in the 10+ years I’ve been renting. Donny yelled at us the first time we met him. I wish we would have taken that as a sign and left then and there. We had them try to evict us after the first few weeks saying we hadn’t paid rent. We had a receipt for paying. We had so many issues with things breaking because of shoddy workmanship and it being very difficult to get ahold of anyone, or to get them to come fix things. For example, the bathroom fixtures (towel rack and toilette paper holder fell off a few weeks into living there due to no dry wall anchors and they never fixed them). Once when they sent someone a contractor out to estimate how much work the house needed (approx $15,000 worth of work), the contractor told us how they always add an extra fee on top of contractors fees to make a profit and pass that on to renters. How unethical! When we finally moved out, leaving the house in pretty much pristine condition, we were charged for them having to ‘fix holes in the wall and repaint’, having a few things in the garage and for having to fix the bathroom fixtures. We had no holes in the wall because we never put anything up in the house. There were things in the garage when we moved in and we left them there. And despite having told Donny about 8-10 different times about the bathroom fixtures, we still got charged. We’re now getting our lawyer involved to try to get the $500 of our deposit back that they essentially stole from us. We will not allow them to get away with bullying and stealing from us. I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of their tenants don’t know their renter’s rights in Ohio law and get bullied by them. I’m continuously shocked at their lack of professionalism and utter ineptitude when it comes to managing properties.

Pam had trusted connections in finance, home repairs, and installation services that allowed us to quickly address items that were identified. We recommend Pam to our family and friends. We have always been impressed by her work ethic and her ever-cheerful attitude and would absolutely go to her first if we are back in the market.

We lost so much money when this company managed three single family rentals for us for the span of 1 year. They do NOT have good systems or processes and many things fell through the cracks, which ended up costing us so much more money in the end. We never made money because of their poor management and extra fees. Donny, the owner, is so nice to talk to and is really trying, but it just didn't work out for us at all. I would not recommend them to any property owner.

Era is the worst place to rent a place from. you pay your rent on time and you cant get any repairs fix especial the same-ones you been complaining about since you got in the place. they act like they don't know what is going on and then they send the same people to your house that could not fix the problem the first time. stay away from these people unless you just don't have a choice because they are full of it and is on the top list of being the worst of the worst place to rent anything.

This company is ran buy one man who is trying to keep up with 300 rental properties himself. They do not call back when repairs are needed. They charge you for repairs that are out of your control (paint chips from cheap paint, cracking walls, sink base that needs to be replaced, tub needs recaulked, etc. If you are African-American, stay away from this company. They will charge you to exterminate for bugs that were already in their property. This company is horrible!!! They (He) should be shut down.

We rent a property that ERA currently manages. We love our home but thus far the service from the office has been subpar. None of our maintenance requests have been done in a timely manner. We put a maintenance request in when we moved in (August) and it has yet to be resolved (today is November 30th). This has been super frustrating and ultimately we’ll be spending our own money to get the issues fixed because we’re tired of waiting for them to pick up their feet and make the repairs.
