They are hard to get in contact with. They never gave us a copy of our lease even though we called and asked a dozen times. We always get someone on the phone (when they actually answer) that says "I'll ask so and so and call you back." No one ever calls back. We were told when we moved in that they would replace the broken windows and the WAY outdated appliances. Then someone actually comes to the building, MONTHS after they said that they would replace these things, and just says "No. That person didn't know what they were talking about. If you want something replaced or fixed, you have to do it yourself." Also, they never take out rent reliably. We've been here a year, and rent is NEVER taken out on the same day! A lot of the time rent for the month won't be taken out until around the 25th of that same month. There is a lot of damage in the apartment (not from us), and we just know that they'll keep our deposit to fix things from previous tenants... Oh yeah! They're changing this apartment building into an AIR BNB (no one told us until a half a dozen tenants were evicted) and have threats up about raising rent for everyone because of smoking tenants, they aren't accepting therapy animals anymore, and the building is literally crumbling. There are HUGE cracks in the corners of the outer walls, the bathroom sink has huge rusty chunks taken out of the enamel and leaks into the cabinet below, the carpet is bunched up in lines across the floor and has chunks taken out of it around the base plates for the sliding doors in the closets, there are more buttons on the stove than in an airplane, there's a hole punched in the back of the bathroom door, the sliding closet doors don't work so we had to put them in the closet (which doesn't lock) in the communal hallway, water damage to the ceilings, huge holes in the walls from previous tenants TV mounts, and huge holes in the ceilings from hanging planter mounts, and the building is not handicapped accessible. One last bad thing. There was a woman who came into the building at 9:00 pm a couple weeks ago. She kept knocking on the neighbor's door. He didn't answer because he liked to sit and listen to music in his headphones (the walls are thin). She unlocks the door and sends her male accomplice in all police style like the guy is going to jump them, and they just start taking pictures of his apartment. A few days later he was gone. Even if he was getting evicted, the management people aren't supposed to come into your apartment between 8 pm and 8 am. It was aggressive and off putting. Anyway, on the nicer side of things, the one lady that I met in person from management (Not the one who barged into the neighbor's apartment) was very nice and informative. Also, the gentlemen from the Air Bnb wander around at midnight and urinate in the bushes on this property and in the trees at the apartment building across the street. Also, the Air Bnb people are the ones leaving trash and cigarette butts all over. Plus we just found out that there's a homeless man sleeping on the bottom floor of the building because there's no security, and because there's no security packages have been going missing! We sent our notice that we were moving out and where to send our deposit check on July 1st with our last rent check, but we have heard nothing back. And though their comment on the Facebook review states that they are "alarmed" they have done nothing to reach out to us to do anything about it. I sent the message the same day she told me to contact them (July 2nd), but there has been no communication. Yesterday we moved out and cleaned the apartment as much as we could, and I can confidently say that it's cleaner than when we moved in. I also did a final walk through video (and pictures) of all the damages. Addendum: Once we got in contact with Josh, things smoothed out. They were able to take our last month's rent and sent us back our deposit. Glad to be done with it. Thank you Josh!

I seriously cannot begin to describe how fantastic working with Cathy Hanson from the Archer Real Estate Services team was! She made everything SO simple for me - and I was super nervous going in, as it was my first time diving into homeownership. She took care of EVERYTHING and made me feel so comfortable and confident! She is so great!

Updated: Slow to fix issues with their properties. Terrible communication. Have to basically harass them to get anything done. Then waited almost two months after we left town to suddenly call up and say there was a problem and we're not getting our security deposit and are still locked into our lease. Properties overall not bad but only deal with them if you have no alternatives.

NO STARS!!! I had to put something to leave the review! Rent anywhere but here. My fiance worked for this company as a maintenance tech after putting in a 2 week notice at his previous job to take that position and we also entered a 7 month lease. At the walk through we were told it would be prepped and ready. Upon moving in, none of the cleaning had been done, and it had not been prepped at all. When we mentioned the condition, they said they were under the impression we were taking it as it. So we had to steam clean, clean, paint ECT. He quit Archer after they "lost" the agreement for his stipend to reimburse for gas, insurance and medical. He was loosing money working for them as they refused to pay until the 60 day review since Josh "couldn't remember what they had agreed on" (upon hiring it was agreed to be right away) and was making less with Archer than his privious job. Now as renters they are trying to evict us alleging we haven't paid rent at all when we were only behind on this month due to my fiance having to switch jobs. They haven't answered or returned any of his calls about being late this month, just served us an eviction notice and claim they have tried to reach us for payment. They are claiming we owe $3,954.18 which makes no sence since we entered our lease mid December making that month prorated and we paid January (note rent is $995/month) Their summons was served incorrectly and they claim they gave us a notice to quit which strangely we never received. These people have no idea how to run a company but run a fine scam.

A lot I can say about them...a lot of pros and cons. Repairs...carpet cleaning and conversations need to be fixed! To many different leasing agents and I want JOSH back. Their office is nice and homey JOSH and DANIELLE are nice and friendly. I was told numerous things that still have yet to be completed. When talking to my current landlord it’s unprofessional and often I have to take in consideration I don’t want my daughter being homeless so i bite my tounge. But when July 2020 comes and I will no longer be a tenant of archer I’m going to express my true thoughts and show all the pictures I have been taking for a year and a half. Until than I’m stuck! But I love Josh wish he was still the person I was dealing with. Keith overall is understanding but the way he says things is unprofessional. But he did offer to walk threw with me in my last apartment to provide saftey, which was thoughtful. So nice people crappy apartments.

They do not communicate anything aside from threats. They don't do any maintenance. They don't return phone calls. They send people after 8pm to bang down people's doors so they can take pictures. Their building in trf is literally falling apart. They no longer allow pets even though almost no one else in the city does. They won't take care of a sewer backup that stinks up the building. No onsite help. They don't take out rent checks for at least 3 to 4 weeks, and this time it has been over a month. They lied about renovations to get us to move in (told us renovations were imminent and then tell us 6 months later that we would have to move out before they would renovate). Almost all communication has been threats or lies. Avoid renting or doing airbnb with them as much as possible. If you do have to, get EVERYTHING in writing.
