Our realtors, Eric Clemente and Mary Simpson made our first time home buying experience exceptional from the very start to the very bitter-sweet end of closing on a 1920's farmhouse! Every step of the way, we felt confident and assured in our decision making. Their expansive knowledge and "all hours" work schedule was comforting and pleasant to work with. Not only did we feel well represented, but we are also pleased to say we feel like we made a couple of new friends along the way. With this being our first time purchasing a home, we couldn't have asked for someone sweeter than Mary to represent us. He helped us with our move 7 years ago when our sons were in middle school. My wife and I began interviewing agents in Nov 2013. We decided to use Marti Hampton and her team. This is a very project oriented team. Meaning you have dedicated staff for each part of the list/selling/closing process. This was very efficient and the communication was top notch. All emails were responded to. Our house was listed 1/15 and we received an accepted offer 1/28/14. Pricing a home is optimal and marketing is key. Without both working in tandem, potential buyers do not show. Re/Max One had both working for them, they knew the market and it has shown. The last piece to the puzzle will be inspection and closing. Nothing but good things to say about marketing and the listing process. As pointed out already, really like the fact they are project oriented, the process flowed smooth.

Ward was our realtor. We lived way off the beaten path, out west of Pittsboro. We had a bit of a niche property, 11 acres down a mile long gravel road, in a large lot neighborhood. We needed to to sell quickly, and couldn't afford for the property to be on the market for a year or more, like it was before we bought it. Ward skillfully guided us on any repairs or upgrades that needed to happen, as our goal was to put a little money as possible into the house before selling. The pictures his team took were fabulous. The Coming Soon posting was great, and so convenient. Easy to share on social media and really did a wonderful job at cultivating interest. When we finally went live on market, we had multiple showings scheduled within hours, and over the course of 2-3 days, we received multiple offers! We accepted an offer that was $14k over asking price, just 3 days after it went on the market! What an amazing relief it was. Once we were under contract, Marti's team did an amazing job handling everything associated with closing, dealing with the buyer's agent, etc. There are always bumps in the road along the way to closing, but they were made so minimal by Jan, our closing agent, and the rest of Marti's team. We could not have asked for a more professional, responsive, understanding, personable, caring, cooperative, or encouraging team of realtors. The results were far above and beyond what we could have imagined. There aren't enough positive adjectives for what they do. Working with the Marti Hampton team makes me want to buy and sell houses all over this area, and use their team!! Ha! I highly recommend them.

First off I will say that I do not usually write reviews, but I feel that if I did not share about my experience I would probably not be able to sleep at night from guilt. I recently moved to Raleigh last year renting for the past eight months before making the decision to purchase a home. After searching around the area I was referred to Jenne Kendziora through a listing agent. From day one Jenne has gone well beyond any preemptive set expectations. She made the whole buying process actually enjoyable as odd as that is to say when going through a home purchase. This was my first home purchase and being in my mid twenties I was unfamiliar, but through every step any question I had was answered and every concern I had was addressed. We were hoping for the contract to expire and to be done with this company! Our one offer was over $20K below asking and our Realtor urged strongly for us to accept!! She thought it was a strong offer--REALLY?? Why did you overprice us then? Will NEVER use this company again and DO NOT recommend them even to enemies.

I found out through a neighbor (who hired you) that you were spreading lies that our house had structural damage. We ended up getting Linda Craft to sell our house (in 6 days). I tried calling your office several times to complain but you never returned my calls. Your selfish actions placed a financial and emotional burden on myself and my family and I'll never forget that. You, woman, are scum! To spread lies like you did just to keep a homeowner from keeping 6% of their equity is just pure evil... You should be ashamed of yourself and ashamed to wear that cross aroind your neck!

Susan Brown has been exceptional to work with in our home purchase. She did a wonderful job of producing a set of listings that were exactly what we were looking for. She arranged showings for us on short notice, sometimes late in the day to match our work schedule. She drove through driving torrential downpours and did a good job planning routes to minimize drive time. She listened and was attentive to our needs and provided honest and open feedback on concerns on some of the homes (rather than just trying to get a quick commission; she wanted to make sure that it really was 'the right' home for us). She worked hard to negotiate the best possible price for us with the owners of the home that we made the offer on (even if that meant potentially a little less commission for her). My wife notes that she has an amazing memory for detail and followed up promptly with any questions or concerns that we had on a listing (she followed up within an hour on convenant restrictions, HOA information, lot information, etc. sometimes late at night). She worked late into Friday night (9:00) on a holiday weekend to close the deal. She is honest, a hard worker, an excellent negotiator and a tremendous asset to their realty team!
