Maria Tabakova is the most responsive, professional, focused and task-driven broker I have ever had the pleasure of working with. From our very first call to the closing of our condo purchase, Maria was always one step ahead in explaining the process and strategising with me to resolve complex and unforeseen issues that arose in a unique deal, which included a last minute change of lenders due to issues with my original mortgage broker. Maria never hesitates to go above and beyond her responsibilities as a buyer’s broker and would respond to me 24/7, including when she was on leave. For example, we recently welcomed a baby to the family, and without backup care, I couldn’t attend many purchase related meetings in person. So I relied heavily on Maria, who enthusiastically arranged and attended inspections, organised contractor quotes for our upcoming renovation, and picked up and delivered original closing documents to the managing agent and my lawyer. Maria is the reason we had a relatively stress free and smooth closing. I wholeheartedly recommend Maria to anyone looking to purchase or sell an apartment in NY.

You're much better off finding an apartment elsewhere (or on your own!). I do not recommend. It will not make your apartment hunt faster, better, or less stressful.

This review is in regards to Juliana, the Triplemint broker that I worked with during my relocation to New York. Courtesy of my employer, I found myself in a position to find a place to live in New York, and wanted to move as quickly as possible. Since I am a planner by nature, New York's rental market was incredibly intimidating, as the rules were infinitely more complicated than the city I was moving from, and the listings that were worth anything seemed to be gone in a matter of days after posting. I had tried calling many many brokers a few weeks in advance, and most of them would not even remember the first time I had spoken with them upon call backs. Then, I received an email from Triplemint inquiring about my move. From the very first contact they were professional and courteous, an instant improvement from what I was experiencing. They connected me with Juliana, who spent plenty of time before my departure to listen to all of my priorities, and to make sure that I had a full proof application ready upon arrival. Once I landed in New York, she helped me hit the ground running right away, and had lined up several showings for the first day. It was immediately clear that Juliana was on my side while working with the leasing companies, and one of the landlords even made a comment that "she was really fighting for me". As soon as we had found a place to pursue, she ensured that all bases were covered. We found, applied, and locked in a perfect fit apartment in a hot market at the worst time of the year to do so in only TWO days. Her flexibility and attentiveness to my needs made the experience leagues better than I was told to expect. I highly recommend Juliana and Triplemint if you are looking for a new place in NYC.

Communication is the key when it comes to this business. Looking for an apartment and moving is already a stressful experience for any person without the anxiety of waiting an indefinite amount of time for agents to reply to your questions or update you with their findings. I dropped another highly recommended agent (by a friend) in favor of Jamie because of his professionalism and prompt responses to any concern we have. He managed to get us an exception for our pets (they allowed 2 instead of 1) and got us a rate $100+ below our budget in our most preferred area with a balcony 4 times the size we were looking for. He's been very patient with us and worked around our busy schedule. Amazing!

We were moving from Indianapolis to NYC, so we were a little overwhelmed, to say the least, about all the different rules with apartment-hunting and all the areas to choose from. She was extremely patient and informative and made sure that she showed us different options to give us a really good idea of the neighborhoods. We knew we were on a time crunch to make a decision on a place, but she never made us feel pressured. It definitely relieved a lot of stress on our part and I don't think we could have done it without her. As a bonus, she made sure to check in on us after our move to make sure that everything had gone smoothly. She has gone above and beyond and I would recommend Tara to anyone in a heartbeat!

I contacted her directly and her response time is very quick. We had an initial call and talked about everything my husband and I needed for an apartment. She has everything down to a science. You will have no worries at all in her capable hands. She will walk you through the whole process and explains everything with specific and simple detail. Marsha showed us many different options for apartments in the city and everyone was a little different but checked all of our boxes. We did an all day apartment tour on a Wednesday and at the end of the day we chose one we loved, we submitted our application and Marsha took care of the rest. We signed our lease that Friday and Marsha was there by our side to answer any questions or concerns we had. It was the easiest and best experience I’ve ever had in an apartment search. Whether you are a first timer to NYC or have been here all your life I highly recommend using Marsha for all your realtor needs. We are moving into the city having gained a wonderful and amazing new friend.

Triplemint was crucial for our moving process. We worked with Rick Suchan and would recommend him to all. We were moving from out of state and he made the process as pain free as possible. Rick volunteered to do FaceTime showings with us when we could not make it to the city and also couriered deposits/paperwork etc. when we were unavailable. We felt that Rick spent the limited time we did have wisely, showing us apartments that fit into the specifications and price range we gave him. The best part of working with him was we felt that he would not show us an apartment he was not willing to live in personally, which was really comforting, especially when we could not always view apartments in person. He was very flexible and was willing to meet and talk around our schedule. There was never a time that we could not quickly get and answer from him or an email back. We would not have been able to make this move with Rick and would recommend him to all apartment/ home hunters in the future!

Our experience with Triplemint began with Anne Richmond, the Member Experience Manager, who reached out to us immediately upon the creation of our account. As Massachusetts residents who are relocating to Manhattan, we had many questions about the process as well as specifications we wanted to be met in our search. Anne was quick and thorough in her responses, and set us at ease from the start. She made an excellent first impression of the level of care and service provided by Triplemint. We were initially paired with Phillip Salem as our agent. We appreciated our phone and email communications with Phillip, who was very knowledgeable and helpful. Phillip was very clear and honest about what would be available within our budget, and advised us throughout the process. We really enjoyed working with him. Unfortunately, Phillip was not available to show apartments on the date that we were planning to be in Manhattan, but he connected us with another agent and maintained communication and support throughout. The primary agent that we worked with was Xavier Sotelo. Xavier was aware of our concerns and questions about this process and was in frequent communication with us from day one. We would recommend him highly as an agent working with people out-of-state in the future. Xavier and Phillip worked together to plan a day of apartment tours for us in our preferred neighborhoods. Xavier was the agent leading these tours, and he was very positive, professional and personable. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed spending the afternoon with him. Once we found an apartment we were interested in, Xavier helped us through the whole application process. Our application was not selected, and Xavier rallied with us and continued the apartment search on our behalf as we had to return to Massachusetts. We felt confident that Xavier understood what we were looking for and that he would advocate for us and put in the work to find an apartment that was right for us. He shot detailed videos of additional apartments and found exactly what we were looking for just days later. Xavier worked with us to ensure that all of our documentation and paperwork were in order and quickly submitted - and helped us get an apartment that we are very happy with. We will finalize our business engagement with a bottle of wine proposed by Phillip and Xavier during pickup of lease and keys!! Across the board, our experience with Triplemint was excellent and we would absolutely recommend the agency to others, and specifically would recommend Anne Richmond, Phillip Salem and Xavier Sotelo to anyone looking for a positive and stress-free rental experience.

My lease was going to expire in Long Island City in 2 weeks. I wanted to move in my neighborhood but I had recently got a puppy home and most places in LIC restrictions on the weight of pets. I tried to look for places everyday using every app at my disposal but could not get the apartment I was looking for. Either the rent was too high or the place was too small. That's when I came across Triplemint. They put me in the hands of one of their best agents Elliott Sudwarts who took note of all my requirements--a two bedroom, with ample closet space, parking in the building, a dog friendly management and neighborhood. Elliott found around 8 apartments that fit my description ready to move into by the end of 2 weeks. I fell in love with at least 4--all of them had exactly what I was looking for. I think what I liked most about Triplemint and Elliott is that they make apartment hunting all about client's needs than their own profit. Elliott has great people skills, that made the apartment hunt fun and upbeat, even though I was stressing out about finding the right place in time. He paid attention to what my preference was--whichever building or management we checked out. By the end of the day we were sitting and filling out the application for an apartment that I fell in love with. Elliott also walked me through the details of the lease, gave me info about a great moving company, and is currently helping me buy property in New York. Elliott understands the real estate terrain in New York really well. He is extremely patient and attentive to his clients needs and work schedules. I really admire his work ethic and passion. Without his help I won't have been able to find a home and neighborhood that I absolutely love.

I had bad experiences with this company. The first person they assigned to me disappeared on me and I called Anne and apparently she had gone on vacation. Then I was assigned another person who had just moved to NYC herself not even a few months ago and was clueless on apartments. She was using a public website to look for apartments, then sending me the links, then calling the listing agent to see if the landlord would take me and my conditions. I can do that for free myself. I expected this company to have expertise in Manhattan and know of landlords who would fit my needs and then reach out to me with those places, but that did not happen. I think you could call the listing agents yourself and save yourself thousands, because this company did not do much for me. My current person I am working with has disappeared and stopped reaching out to me and replying to my texts. I will be saving myself the money and using public viewable websites and searching for apartments myself. I would not recommend this company. The 2 agents I dealt with were clueless and you can save yourself thousands and search yourself.
