My husband and I worked with Sam Ibrahim to find our new apartment in Astoria. Sam is a consummate professional, and is a phenomenal communicator. He responds at the drop of a hat. For those of us that know how difficult and stressful moving can be, having someone like Sam on your side to walk you through the process gives you peace of mind that everything will work out just fine. He was clear and concise in his instructions with what the management company, and the landlord needed from us, and helped expedite the process since we were in a time crunch. If you or anyone you know needs a good broker, please contact Sam. You won’t be disappointed!

Lying and incompetent! I was looking for no fee apartments (a specific search on StreetEasy), found one, went through the application process and then when I was ready to sign they informed me there was a $1,000 fee for Peter Ashe. I dealt with Meirav Gavrielov (mentioned in numerous posts below) and would not recommend her or Peter Ashe to anyone. While I decided to pay the fee because I liked the apartment, I asked Meirav if there were any issues with the building. She informed there were none and the management company, HRM, was great and tenant friendly. Well, she either lied to me or is grossly incompetent. There is an illegal tenant in the building, he is not on the lease and does not pay rent and has been stealing packages from other tenants for years. He was arrested in 2018 for grand larceny. Since I moved in a few months ago, he has stolen from me and other tenants. Very disappointed with Meirav and Peter Ashe.

Worked with these guys on securing a rental apartment in the Lenox Hill neighborhood. Overall, they were responsive, courteous and respectful of my time. They were able to work out a deal that was fair for both side of the landlord/tenant relationship. I worked mainly with Eyal, who I found to be helpful and knowledgeable in all aspects of the rental buildings in the area. Would certainly work with Eyal again in the future.

Meirav Gavrielov recently helped us with the application for an apartment that was part of an middle income program that needed aproval by NYC. The paperwork was intense but she was very efficient and knowledgeable so the process went really quick and smooth (it took just 9 days!).

Had the worst experience with Meirav Gavrielov from Peter Ashe - to the point that we walked away from an apartment that we really liked (Apt 1701 on 188 E 64th Street The Royale), just so that we don't have to interact with her. Solely focused on her commissions and called me to go on a 15 minute rant about commissions, "playing games" and having to split the commissions if I have a different agent representing me. Also did something very unethical and manipulative. Told me that she is very close to the owner and has served him/her for 15 years. So owner will ask for her opinion and she will have an input on which application she should select. It was a very thinly veiled threat that if I am not on her good side, I can go ahead with the application, but she will make sure that it is not accepted and I will lose my application fee. There are many good real estate agents and apartments in New York. Spare yourself the attitude she will give you and walk away from anything to do with Meirav. Somehow the owner of the apartment trusts her - and she is misusing that. I hope the owner of Apt 1701 at The Royale 188 E. 64th Street sees this.

Had the best experience working with Peter Ashe. So, I was looking for a very specific type of apartment in UES and they literally helped me get the exact same apartment (certain commodities) which i wanted to. They were always there to help me if I needed anything… Also, I liked the second apartment they showed me, but still he got like 20 more options to show me.. so If your looking for a real estate company I definitely encourage you to contact Peter Ashe!
