I am a south korean and I came here to do my further study. I was afraid of finding a new rent house because it was my first time to come to NYC (of course, also U.S. is too.) My friend recommended Kian Realty and intoduced Elizabeth who is an agent of Kian Realty. Actually, I worried about broker fee because it is very expensive as I heard. However, after meeting Elizabeth, I thought it was acceptable cost. She is kind and has a lot of responsibility on her works. She is really good at negotiating rationally. She tried her best to find a rent house within my limited budget. Of course, I contracted successfully with the owner. She always asks me how condition of house is even though the contract is finished. I always found her and asked to help me when there are some problems. She always gave a perfect solution for me. I think our relationship will be maintained countinuously. Without doubt, I would find a house with her if I have a plan to move to another place. I highly recommend Kian Realty to people, especially Elizabeth. I am sure that people are satisfied with her dedication to work.

Skip is the best! By some miracle i found THE BEST apartment on craigslist. From our first conversation, Skip was very upfront with us, gave us extremely detailed descriptions of the apartment and the building. I could call him with any question and he made sure i understood the process. if you're moving to New York from out of town, you gotta call Skip!

ZERO stars in reference to Agent Adriana Floarea. This is in regards to the studio at 143-45 Sanford Avenue Unit 609S. Her RentHop profile states, "I AM HIGHLY MOTIVATED AND VERY INTERESTED IN SAVING YOU TIME, MONEY AND STRESS" This could not be farther from the truth. Our experience was completely reflective of increased stress, wasted time due to continuous requests for more documents and finally, increased costs as per Adriana's suggestion to utilize a third party guarantor service Insurent, which charges 70 to 90% of the monthly fee. In our case, this would equate to an additional $1155 to $1485. I am not an accountant, but I am certain that does NOT sound like she is saving money. In addition, she continuously and annoyingly kept on requesting more documents from copies of original SS cards with the numbers not redacted (Risky) despite the rental application having those numbers already! Bank statements from three months with a substantial balance to cover the entire lease. Yet, still the uncertainty. Why we are only leasing not buying for Christ's sake! This is Flushing Queens NOT the French Riviera. Why the NSA type scrutiny to live around overcrowded and unhygienic Mandarin Town. After living in both Canada, Europe as well as Texas and Florida, this has been by far the most annoying and disgusting time wasting experience as an individual looking to secure a rental whose financial house is in proverbial order. Avoid this agency and especially Adrianna. In fact, to make matters worse, she still has yet to refund the application fee since she never even processed anything. Very unprofessional. AVOID!

We specifically asked the realtor if we could hear the neighbors from our building. The realtor, adriana, outright lied and said we couldnt. Now we were just told that several people have already moved out because of the noise issue. We can hear every little thing they do. Update: Charles Doolan from kian realty reached out to after reading this review and they are actively helping us to find a new tenant to get out of our lease. I will update this review once we know of the results of their efforts. We hope to move out as quickly as possible. Update: Adriana and Charles Doolan was able to find a tenant quickly to take over our lease. They moved quickly and efficiently and really wanted to make tenants happy.

I have used Kian reality multiple times since I moved back to the city in 2009. They helped get me my first apartment in the financial district and even bought me a replacement blind when one went missing in an apartment I wanted to rent. Since then I've worked with multiple agents and they have always been helpful and gone out of their way to show me apartments in different neighborhoods. While they focus on Manhattan they have helped me look in Williamsburg, Park Slope, and other parts of Brooklyn. I recently bought a home and Kian was the only firm I wanted to represent me. We must have looked at 20 places before we found the right one, and they were friendly and informative throughout the process.

Most of all she is very honest and really works with you to find the right apartment (which isn’t always easy in New York City)! This is a terrible agency. The Realtor I had, Dean, attempted to berate me into signing for an apartment that hadn't been finished yet, and this after cancelling several meetings where he promised to "finalize my application." When I was tired of the harassment and told him no, he continued to text and call me at the same time sending screen shots of his conversation with the building owner saying I would be a terrible tenant and shouldn't be trusted! I'm also fairly certain he was either intoxicated or high, that is how aberrant his behavior was. Unprofessional and unethical. And then, when I attempted to contact the agency and file a complaint, you just get a voice-mail box stating the number. Avoid at all costs!

Don't trust this company. I worked with a realtor - Julian. He walked me through apartments and really pressured me to put a security deposit (refundable) on an apartment. I did, but told him I wasn't fully committed. However, he called me the next day and said that the apartment I put a security deposit on was already signed - which was a lie. He just found someone who could commit even though I already had a deposit on the room. Terribly stressful and took forever to get my money back.

I have used Kian Realty three times in the past four years (I know, it's a lot of moving!). I've worked with a number of their agents and each one has consistently been professional, friendly, and successful. When renting out my old apartment was stressful, Kian took over, helped touch up the apartment and take the photos which framed it in the best light, and did all the showings. When finding an apartment in a difficult market in a hot part of the city, they got the listings nobody else seemed to have, and even helped me negotiate rent with the landlord! When finally buying a condo of my own, they helped frame the negotiations with the seller, navigated all the obstacles thrown up by legal and finance, and brought the whole deal together with very little effort on my part. I couldn't recommend Kian Realty more highly.

I chose Arthur Steuer based on information I read on the internet. The following is my review of the work and services he provided me which led to a the expeditious sale of my property for which I received a fair price. If you need a real estate professional I highly recommend Arthur Steuer. He is personable, passionate and extremely professional. He takes the time to consult with his clients and is more than happy to to go over all aspects of every situation in an effort for them to have all the information they need to make the decision that is best for them. His insight and knowledge of the market was very beneficial to me with helping me price my property realistically. His ability to engage with potential buyers and communicate with their brokers, along with his negotiating skills, resulted in my getting an accepted offer very quickly. When the home inspection found a few minor problems he researched and interviewed contractors before referring them to me to vet for myself and decide whom to use. When the sale was getting close to closing he went over all the paperwork with me to make sure I understood everything and pointed out items that he thought I might want to address and clarify with my attorney. I can honestly say that Mr. Steuer offered invaluable assistance to me throughout the entire process. He made a complicated and stressful process a whole lot easier. Whether you are selling or purchasing a home you really can't go wrong hiring him to represent your interests.

I worked with the agent “Anna” and it was the worst experience ever. She mislead me about the room’s size and the prices and I’m stuck now for one year lease. Be aware when you are dealing with her. I recommend not to come near her.
