I had been looking for an apartment for months with other brokers with no luck at all. I was being shown units that weren't even close to what I was looking for. That all changed when Melissa, from Christie Property Group, met with me one Sunday morning and showed me two fantastic units that same day. She understood EXACTLY what I was looking for just through a phone call conversation we had. Within a week I signed the lease and a few weeks later I moved into my dream apartment. You can't go wrong with Christie - they are very professional and will not waste your time. Thanks Melissa!

I did not feel I was being treated with respect by Sean Christie. After negotiating a fee for his services, he harassed us to make sure he could collect by sending numerous texts and contacting the leasing office of the building we applied to. He then sent us texts attacking our character when we decided to not proceed with the lease.

Sean & ian christie are a bunch of scam artist. i attempted to rent a apartment from ian christie back in September. Gave Him a deposit for 2,500 tried calling the maiden lane office several times & even showed up only to be told they are no longer in the building. i have since moved back to florida but stay away from these people they are only after deposit money and won't return any of your calls

David George was very quick to respond to my initial inquiry and showed me several apartments that were great matches for what I wanted. He worked extra hard to get me a wonderful apartment and took the time to educate me about the different areas where I was looking. I happened to choose an apartment owned by a friend of a friend, but if I had not chosen that, I would have ended up in the apartment David found for me. I would give him six stars if it was an option!

Melissa Hristov was absolutely fantastic! My fiance and I were able to find our apartment, submit an application, get approved, and sign the lease ALL WITHIN ONE WEEK. I told her exactly what our budget was and where we wanted to live and she did the rest. We got to see a good variety of apartments within our budget and she was super knowledgeable about the different neighborhoods and recommended great places to eat/shop/hang out. She has a great working relationship with all the different leasing offices/agents which made it easier to schedule appointments to see apartments and to communicate with the leasing office of the building we ended up signing with. I really appreciated how quick she was to respond to my emails/texts and that she always followed up on everything. She made the entire process effortless. I've already recommended her to several of my friends and I would definitely work with her again if needed in the future.

I am from South Dakota and my family and I are needing to come to the upper east side of NYC for surgeries every 3 weeks for 3 months time. I have searched for the last month trying to find the perfect location and price. Apartment searching in Manhattan on a budget is extremely overwhelming! I have gotten depressed thinking I wouldn't find a place on time, as we are leaving in just one short week. Last night I started messaging many many people asking for help, praying one would come through. This morning I got a call from Ian Christie. He was very energetic, listened to everything I had to say about my needs for an apartment and location. He looked up many apartments for me and never made me feel like a bother, even though I find myself complicated to work with. He kept in close contact with calls and emails. Even when I felt like giving up since I wasn't finding anything I truly liked.. he called me back again with a GREAT deal, one I couldn't pass up! I was surprised that he kept trying for me! It was by FAR the cheapest price for a 2 bedroom in upper east side Manhattan. I highly suggest them to anyone and everyone. He took so much weight off my shoulders. Thank you Ian, what troubles you endured, the phone calls and the emails you did for me really made a difference in my life. Terrible experience with this company. Santiago Pareja has no idea what he was talking about and told lie after lie just to give us a false piece of mind. Our income was short but he said the building would consider our bonuses. This was one of the many lies he told that ended up screwing us. We used a guarantor website and he told us it would take a half hour to get a decision. This was another lie. I called and they said they don’t know why he said that. It takes at least a day. The final lie was when he said we we had gotten assurance of approval and we’re just waiting on the lease. I called the l leasing office the day after and they said our application was rejected and they don’t consider bonuses to qualify. This whole process left us without an apartment and over a thousand dollars in hotel/Airbnb costs. Stay away from this snake oil salesman at all costs.
