It's rare to have someone go the extra foot, let alone mile, when it comes to customer service these days. I have lost track of the times spent languishing on hold, at restaurants or at store counters, desperate for even a modicum of acknowledgment. I assumed my recent home-buying experience would unfold in similarly frustrating fashion. Then I met Keegan Latta. He came highly recommended from my fiancee, who worked alongside Keegan for nearly a year while searching for a home in Belgrade. I cannot sing his praises loudly enough. Keegan is professional and kind. He is refreshingly transparent and patient, willing to walk us through each step of and expertly navigate what can be a convoluted process of selling one property while identifying another. I am sure he was juggling a host of clients, yet I always felt as though we were the only ones. He was gracious with his time, routinely dropping everything no matter the day to meet us for a home tour or answer our questions. He offered to entertain our dog if showings conflicted with work schedules and to help install backsplash tile. He pointed us in the right direction when selecting everything from a lender to a cleaning company. He pitched in to complete work requested by the buyer of our condominium — I once returned home to find him on top of a ladder caulking siding before departing to retrieve a light bulb for the bathroom fan. He even prodded the builder of our new home to complete punch-list items prior to our move-in date so we could enjoy our first few days and not be distracted by blue-tape-spotted walls. Through it all, Keegan was a trusted confidant. He made what can be an anxious time downright enjoyable. We consider him the best in his field. We consider him a friend. We will only consider him for future real estate transactions. We cannot thank him enough for his efforts.
