We started working with Barrie Stavis and the Steven Cohen Team several years ago while we were living in California and contemplating a move east. They were helpful and accommodating and didn't seem to mind at all that we weren't yet serious buyers. For three or four years we saw Barrie once or twice a year and she showed us homes and then kept us informed of the market by email. Once we were ready to make the move, Barrie was ready to help us and through her office was able to not only show us on market homes but also several off market homes that met our criteria. She was knowledgeable about "home stuff" noticing and pointing out design details, asking important questions that we wouldn't have known to ask about utilities, the roof, facade, etc. and was a great listener. We felt like she understood what we were looking for and wasn't showing us homes that wouldn't fit for our family. Once we found a place we loved, Barrie and the Steven Cohen Team were fantastic. We carried out all but the final signing from afar -- they recommended excellent people to work with (lawyer, bank, etc). Our home purchase ended up having some complications and surprises and everyone was sharp and diligent on our behalf. If it wasn't for their competence, I suspect the deal would have fallen through but instead they kept up on the situation, sent countless communications to all necessary parties and made the sale happen. We couldn't have been happier of course and we felt so well taken care of despite the distance. We'd highly recommend Barrie and Steven Cohen. We met Steven several times -- he joined in for some of our house viewings and walk throughs and he was great to work with too.

Barrie Stavis was our realtor and she was absolutely amazing. We recently worked with Josh Leibowitz at Steven Cohen Team of Keller Williams Realty on sub-letting the apartment we were in. Josh showed up ready to make things happen less than 12 hours after we originally spoke, photographed and listed the apartment that day, and very proactively worked with us over 2 weeks to find the right sub-letter. He organized multiple showings, and when we found the right tenant, helped us negotiate the best possible outcome for all parties. Sub-letting can be tricky, the lease is shorter so there is less of an incentive for a renter to move in, and the broker fee is prorated to reflect the duration of the sub-let. Not a single time did this impact Josh's willingness to work with us and find the right tenant. We've worked with Nicole Spencer of the Steven Cohen team at KW Realty twice in the past year and a half, and couldn't be more pleased. In January 2017 we moved cross-country to the Boston area looking for a rental (apartment). We had a temporary place for a few weeks once we landed in Boston, but were on a pretty tight timeline to both find and move into an apartment. We began our search with Nicole's direction while we were still across the country, and we had a phone call so she could clearly understand what we were looking for, priorities, etc. She gave us a good feel for what we would find in our new area and we felt like she understood our needs & wants. We set up our tour day for a week after we got into Boston, and saw 4 apartments that we were interested in based on their online listings. We found one we liked a lot, applied for it that night, and got accepted the next day! Nicole checked back in with us throughout our move-in, even though her job was really done at this point. She offered to help us with any further questions or give references, etc that we might need. In January 2018 we began searching for our first house purchase. We decided to reach out to Nicole because we had such a great experience with her previously and remembered her stating that she worked primarily with buyers. As first-time buyers in a very competitive, sellers' Boston-area market, we so appreciated the time and care Nicole took to walk us through the entire process up-front, including potential timelines and all the steps of buying a home. She was incredibly patient with our questions gave us realistic expectations. Nicole did a great job making sure she truly understood our needs, wants, budget, timeline, etc. She was proactive in reaching out about properties and open to looking into (the very few) properties we found on our own. Nicole's input was invaluable as she advised us on tactics and insight on making competitive offers without over-paying. Overall, we actively searched for about three months and made an offer on one other home before having our offer accepted with the house we ended up purchasing and loving. There were some unexpected and out-of-our-control road bumps that came up throughout the end of the process, but Nicole hustled and worked diligently to make sure they were taken care of - I have a feeling she did a fair amount of work on her end to take care of these things that we never even knew about. Nicole reached out a few more times after our closing to check in on how we were doing, and provided us with references for contractors. I also received a very sweet phone call from Steven Cohen to thank us for working with them and see if there was any other assistance they could provide. If we are in a situation of selling our home or buying in the area again (which hopefully won't happen for some time!), we wouldn't hesitate to reach out to Nicole Spencer and the Steven Cohen team. I highly recommend them!
