Robert was the selling agent, so I contacted him regarding my home. He responded quickly and came to check out my house. We put the house on the market and had a steady stream of people looking at the property. On the 25th day, we had an offer for full asking price. Robert also served as our buyer's agent, and helped us find our next home. When we found a home that we really liked, Robert stayed with us at the showing for several hours so that we could call some family members to come check it out with us. He managed the sale and purchase so that they would both close around the same time so that we wouldn't have to find temporary housing/storage. Our sale was an estate sale in Dundalk MD--house unoccupied. Dundalk is working class area of mostly older homes that generally require improvements and may take extra effort/attention to sell. Kathy Banaszewski demonstrated definite working knowledge of the area. She provided comps and we selected what we expected was a reasonably aggressive asking price. Older existing furniture in the house but she added accents to stage. She got the house listed quickly after we cleared extraneous personal items. After little more than a week, we had 4 offers and ultimately settled at 5% above asking price. The inspection report highlighted several things that had to be addressed prior to closing. No one in the remaining family lives within an hour of the property, so Kathy accepted the responsibility to deal with contractors and even negotiated lower costs for several repairs. The whole process from contract signing, through listing, showings, repairs and settlement was about 6 weeks. We are very pleased

This is my first home purchase. I closed a month and a half ago. Robert was very helpful throughout the whole process. What really impressed me is his knowledge of the process. Robert let us know what was going to happen next and the time frame we should expect it to happen.... he was never wrong. He also guided us to the best deals. The house we bought was overpriced, initially. We were going to make the seller an offer close to what they were asking but Robert strongly encouraged us to make a lower offer. The seller countered with a slightly higher offer but the appraiser priced the house almost exactly at what Robert suggested. That is the price we paid for the house and the seller added $5,000 to closing. On top of that, Robert saved us money by referring us to quality companies for the things we needed(i.e. home inspection and loan officer) during the home buying process.
