A friend referred me to Khalil and his team and I am very happy he did! Khalil is extremely knowledgeable and after interviewing multiple real estate agents, it was clear by a large margin that he was the best. The best and at the same time, was saving us money! A real win-win for us. We also liked the fact that he wasnt just relying on MLS but really leveraged social media to sell as well. Khalil always made himself available to us, even late at night, which was most convenient for us (after we put the kids down), his team is very professional and runs like a well oiled machine. I highly recommend Glasshouse for your real estate needs!

Simply superb! Working with Khalil was an excellent experience. He was well informed, courteous, friendly and basically guided us through the entire process of selling our house and then getting the new house. The whole process started with meeting Khalil at our old house wherein he explained his complete profile, his experience, his team and what should we expect were we to work with him. We were satisfied with his profile and went ahead. This turned out to be an excellent decision. He suggested the listing price for our old house, how to prep it, his team came over and advised on how to stage it, then professionally photographed it and finally listed it. We got our first offer with few hours of listing. We ended up accepting the 2nd offer exactly as per our asking price and a rent back too. So we got everything we had asked for. Khalil was instrumental in getting our new house from the builder, he advised us on a few issues we had with the builder and it was resolved to our satisfaction. My wife & me are thoroughly impressed by Khalil and his team and recommend him to anyone interested in getting a fair deal and have your interests watched all the time. Glass House Real Estate's business model reflects how the modern buyer shops today. We had initial hesitations not knowing if their lean team would be able to provide us the requisite resources/attention that we needed to buy in a competitive DC market, but we were always able to view properties on our schedule (most often the same day) and Jeff/Khalil were there with us every step of the way. The team knows the DC metro well and helped us negotiate to get the best deal (vs pressuring us to close quickly, potentially at a higher price). Having our best interest in mind was very important for us. The rebate is also an INCREDIBLE plus (we saved thousands of dollars and it's better than Redfin's) that we applied towards closing costs. After finding my own house and asking for a viewing, they were very responsive. I must have been the easiest client, because I looked at one house for 10 minutes and put in an offer. The next afternoon I received an email string from Khalil. That morning the buyer's realtor asked if we'd take counters, then two hours later telling us there was another bid in and to submit our best and final at our soonest. I responded with my best and final. I tried reaching Khalil via text, phone call and email with no response all day. Finally, that evening I called Victoria very upset due to lack of response and the urgency to respond with the best and final. I signed a contract that evening. The next day I received an email from Khalil stating they went with the other offer. I contacted the seller's realtor, and he stated he didn't hear from us so they took the other offer. So, basically I lost the house due to lack of response. There wasn't even a phone call or explanation or apology. The rebate is nice, but is it worth the lack of customer service needed to win a bid in this market? Totally unacceptable and unprofessional. In addition, the comps they sent me on the house were extremely high and included other houses that were 1000 sq ft bigger. Luckily, my friend is a realtor and she sent me the "real" comps. This business is obviously focused on making money and not getting you the best price. I received no call or information on the seller's position.
