In my first interaction with the Joe Hayden Real Estate Team, I was referred to their resident “Highlands Expert,” Craig Greenwell. Craig was given my contact information and promptly followed up to introduce himself and see how he could help in my quest to find my first home. That will forever live as the day I won the real estate agent lottery! I was incredibly nervous going into the search process as I knew I’d have to go through most of it remotely from the west coast. That nervousness disappeared quickly after I met Craig. From our very first phone call through the closing date and beyond, I could not have had a better experience working with him. His professionalism, attention to detail, knowledge of the Louisville real estate market and incredible guidance made the entire process a breeze. He found house after house for me to review, recorded private video tours, walked me through houses via FaceTime and even went as far as meeting my friends/family anywhere I would send him while I was in California. When I was finally able to fly to Louisville for in-person showings, Craig blocked out his entire Friday (and part of Sunday) to show me a full slate of properties. In addition to the three or four houses I really wanted to see, he lined up showings at many other houses to give me a full flavor of what the market had to offer. Importantly, he always gave me his honest opinion and never pressured me to settle for anything less than the perfect home. Once we found the right house, he was the perfect person to be in my corner for the offer, negotiation and closing processes. His guidance was top notch, and his work ethic (he worked nights and weekends to make sure everything was in order) was incredible throughout. Because of Craig, I now own the perfect house in one of the best areas in Louisville. Craig’s excellence as a real estate professional is only matched by his awesomeness as a person. I commented multiple times throughout the process (to my parents, my girlfriend, my friends and really anyone who would listen) that I could not have found a better person to work with, and I truly mean that. While I don’t know if I’ll ever want to sell the fantastic house that Craig helped me purchase in the Highlands, I do know that if I’m ever in need of buying/selling services again, Craig Greenwell will be my first call. Thanks to him and the Joe Hayden Real Estate Team for everything!
