Beware of rental procedures. Was looking for a short term lease until we buy. Was notified that we cant view any of their properties which is weird to me but that may be normal for Kansas, so if it is then disregard. The real issue is that after I viewed the "mediocre at best" property I was told in order to get it, both my wife and I would have to fill out another application and pay the the app fee $50 total. (Not a big deal) I was also told that the only costs would be first months rent a security deposit and a $250 admin fee because we were wanting a "short term lease". Kind of steep but was willing to bite the bullet because we were in need of a place and moving from state to state. We paid the $50 and was approved for the place. Then I was told there would be an additional months worth of rent up front to get the place. The catch is that it's not actually rent but an additional fee that goes straight to them for the short terms lease agreement!?!?! Long story short we lost 50 bucks and would have pain an excess of a thousand dollars which we will never see again. (does not include rent) just to sign a contract to get the place! Clever policies and tactics used to screw people out of there money... look elsewhere.
