Had an extremely terrible experience with Jane herself over the phone. I called with best intentions to let her know that the house she has listed and that is getting built on my street has a lot of garbage accumulating outside of the construction area. I called the builder the week before, but hadn't heard back. Instead of thanking me, Jane yelled at me saying that it's not her problem, to call the builder and that she has nothing to do with it. Extremely rude! Would NEVER recommend for someone to deal with this type of attitude. The proper respone would have been "thanks for letting me know. I will reach out to the builder and we will take care of it. I appreciate you letting ME know instead of calling the police and getting us a citation. I want all my listed properties to look presentable." How disappointing it is to get yelled at when you're trying to help someone. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

We were disappointed in our experience with "thejaneleeteam". The only time you see Jane Lee is when she signs you into contract, then you never see or hear from her again. She promised photos, 3D pics and drone pics and open houses. The only way we got all these items was by constant reminding to her "team". Her "team" was disorganized and lacked communication skills. Several times, there was miscommunication and team members arrived when they weren't supposed to, or they did not arrive when they were scheduled to. We were promised an open house the weekend after signing, then we were told they were "too busy" to handle it. The first offer came in at $40K below asking and Jane tried to convince us to take it. We held out a few more days and got full asking price. We succeeded in SPITE of this team and realtor. Our immaculate and updated home sold itself. I do not reccomend the "JaneLeeTeam". Not impressed at all with how we were treated. We did ALL the work. Additionally, we were offered $50 IF we submitted a five star review- we chose to be honest and submit a truthful statement.

I have a very bad experience with Re/Max top performers. They have rented the apartment to someone else after I signing the lease from my side and getting cashiers check (for security deposit and first months rent). This is highly unprofessional behavior and should be avoided by any realtors. I will never deal with this agency in future.

Jane Lee is a very dishonest agent. Have a question she won't talk to you on the phone emails only. When you send a email you get one word answers with no explanation what so ever. That just does not work. Have an issue with a property she will tell you everything was fixed when in fact it was not even touched. Now she re-lists properties with a price change just to get it renewed on the MLS and guess what the price was not changed same price for months. Awful experience working with this agent.

My house was listed with a popular broker in my area for six months without an offer. Frustrated and exhausted, I called Jane’s team. I am so glad that I did. My house was on the market for two weeks, and got an offer. Here’s what I think why Jane is No. 1 agent and top performer in Chicago land. Accurate market analysis is crucial in selling a house. Jane provided me with a very detailed analysis based on current market conditions. She gave me a range of listing price, and reasons behind it. The sold price was within the range. Second, Jane knows the market trend. She looked at my house, and told me what should be done, and what needed to be done in order to sell my house. After minimum upgrades and staging, my house looked amazing! Third, Jane’s quick reactions to market feedback, and adjusted selling strategy accordingly. Overall, my experience tells me that selling a house nowadays isn’t like what I knew from 20 years ago. Buyers are well educated. They looked at how your house is presented on the web before coming to see the house in person. Experience, and in-depth knowledge of market trend are very important for an agent. Last but not least, Jane is probably the most hardworking person I have ever met! Thank you Jane, and thank you everyone in your team!

Utterly and completely unprofessional and deceitful!!! I want to start off by saying I was not a client of Jane Lee team, I was the buyer of one of their listed homes. Unfortunately I'm limited in space to list all my complaints so I'll keep it short. When we inquired about what appeared to be water damage coming from the ceiling their office stated that it was "soda that shot up to the ceiling", after our purchase we found out that it was in fact as we suspected, luckily we got it in writing an are considering legal recourse. They moved very slow throughout the process and took very long to answer or provide any information to the point where we almost walked away from the sale. I would imagine that's something that our sellers as well as any other seller would not appreciate, loosing a sale because their representing office doesn't move promptly. At one point no one from their office was getting back to us and our agent called their office and asked for Jane Lee, our agent was told by one of Lee's staff member that she is never to contact Jane Lee directly or bother her. Seriously?!?! How arrogant and condescending is that!!! After ALL parties got the opportunity to come in and remove any and all belongings during the final walkthrough the day AFTER our closing we were contacted and asked to return their staging items that are in OUR HOUSE!!! How unprofessional for a "professional" business to go back to us buyers AFTER THE CLOSING and ask for decor items that we were under the assumption were left by the owners at this point because they were not picked up by Jane Lee's office when the opportunity was there!!! What was more upsetting is when I asked to speak with Jane Lee or an office manager to express my dissatisfaction my request was not honored! My advice... If you are looking at one of their listed homes make sure your home inspector documents EVERYTHING!!!!

We only saw Jane Lee during the initial meeting. Every other task throughout the selling process was handled by other team members. Communication between the team members was not very good. Jane Lee promised a video tour and aerial photos at the initial meeting. However, these features were not communicated to the team members handling the actual house roll out. There were also issues with flyers, the sign and coordinating an open house. Needless to say, the initial step of putting the house on the market did not go smoothly. It also took Zillow three business days to accurately list all of the features of the house when the listing went live. This was blamed on faulty processes by Zillow. Zillow needs to update their processes so that house listings are complete from the first day of listing. It is useless for Zillow to send out "just listed" emails when their listings are not complete. The best thing about their house roll out was their staging person, Amy. She gave some wonderful advice and we were impressed with her knowledge. Also, Jane Lee employee, Luther, did a wonderful job showing our house. His biggest struggle was receiving communication from other team members. We received an 85% of list price offer the first day the house was on the market. We were encouraged to strongly negotiate with this person. In the end, they only could afford 90% of our list price. We did not sell to this person. We did accept an offer nine days from the listing date. The house was a three bedroom ranch that had been totally updated and was move in ready. We believe the house sold so quickly because of the house condition and style. Finally, I was disturbed to receive an email from one of Jane Lee team members after the house closing promising a $50 gift card for a five star review. I find this to be totally unethical. Please consider this when you are reading Jane Lee reviews.

We were very pleased with the services that Jane Lee and her team provided. We received a prompt market analysis with relevant recommendations to prepare our home for sale. Jane even provided an interior designer who did a beautiful job in staging our home at no cost. We were pleasantly surprised with the professional drone photos, interior pictures, 3D tour, and YouTube videos that were used for marketing on-line and in the brochures. But after 4 golden months July, Aug, Sep, Oct, the staging contract expired, but the house was not sold. We then switched to Jane. A short story, she made the sale within one and a half month. I put in a request for availability on one of the listings on trulia and was messaged by Jane. I was asked If I had availability to talk at the moment and I was tied up and gave an approximate time of when I would be free. Never received a call. Then received another text same day asking if I was free within the next hour for a call. I said yes. I waited and still I received no call. I then messaged her asking if she was ever going to give me a call. No response. I messaged again asking to be helped because I was really interested in this property. And still nothing. Horrible customer service. I was NOT surprised when I found all of these horrible reviews here.

Hire Jane Lee and her team if your primary goal is to sell your house within a firm deadline. Jane has built a robust and capable team to whom she delegates process and detail in the listing, marketing and closing phases of a home sale. If work on your house is required to prepare it for showing, Jane has project managers and referrals to contractors and tradespeople that will help get jobs done with quality, on time and at fair prices.

We hired her team to sell our home and we did have more showings when she took over. The team sold our home after 8 weeks. Home was staged but with plastic plants and some broken/old items. Legal fees were also included but there was controversy over this and fortunately I had a text message that proved this was agreed. She insisted we wouldn't need to lower our price and ended up with a significant reduction. Communication is difficult and confusing. We were told we would save .5% if we bought our new home through the team and this did not happen. The team makes assumptions you know their business, Jane speaks very fast and listening is an issue. I agree with other reviewers that once you are signed you don't see her again and you are handed off to her team some of whom are inexperienced. Be prepared to take time to figure out which team member does what as we frequently spoke to the wrong person. Advice to others would be to get everything that is promised in writing as email or text if it isn't in the contract and ask questions and reclarify.
