So when I looked up West Real Estate I saw nothing but great reviews and I thought, sure, but where are the bad reviews?? Nobody has ALL great reviews, come on! Then, I used West Real Estate - and I realized why they have so many 5 star reviews. We used John to sell our house and Derek to buy our new house and they were both outstanding! Very professional, if one of them was out of town, the other was there to help. They answered all of our questions and were always available - or responded promptly if they weren't. I really liked the website, it gave us constant updates and feedback. Everything was detailed and documented, which is very convenient and helpful and made the whole process very transparent. They really went the extra mile for us, for example, Derek's car literally caught on fire on one of the days that we were scheduled to view houses. The car was gutted, the fire department had to show up. It was a total loss - really felt bad for the guy! Birds nest under the hood btw. That did NOT stop him from showing houses for the rest of the day! I'm not sure how many other real estate agents would put their life on hold and ignore the fact that they just lost their new car to a freak car fire - but I know Derek will! I heard that he ended up purchasing a Honda Del Sol, so even though I'm quite sorry you lost your car Derek, I'm glad that we could be a part of the hand of destiny that pushed you irrevocably towards the glory that is the Honda Del Sol. ;-) Also, when showing our old house to sell - they were very good about working around our schedules and being professional and understanding. I have three kids and both my wife and I work crazy hours at times, so I really appreciated them working with us in this regard. Selling and buying a house is a demanding and exhausting undertaking, but, it was made much easier by the professional, courteous, and thorough job done by West Real Estate. You all did a fantastic job and my wife and I are both very appreciative and thankful for your help! Do yourself a favour, use West Real Estate Group!! I have had the pleasure of working with John West twice, first as a mortgage broker on the purchase of my first home, and then as my realtor when I needed to sell it several years later. In both cases, the service, skill, and communication were far above what you can expect from anyone else. He and his team went the extra mile for me in both situations, whether that meant spending hours on the phone with an insurance carrier in order to save me money on my mortgage, or personally overseeing a few small repairs that needed to be made to my home before it's sale as I was out of the state. Of course, no realtor can guarantee such things, and he never would make a promise that he could not keep, but going with John will at least guarantee that you have the most skilled, knowledgeable, and awesome team in your corner, which will give you the best chance of getting your home sold on time, and for the amount of money that you want. I could not ask for better experiences than the ones I had. The only unfortunate thing is that I moved too far away for him to help me when it comes time to buy another.

My Realtor, Lauren Clark, is a powerhouse, a truly rare person, and one of those whose love for helping others really shows. To be a recipient of her knowledge and work ethic undeniably equaled more money in my pocket! When Lauren has listed a property, she isn’t afraid to spend money to make money. That is so difficult for almost everybody to do, particularly since there’s absolutely no guarantee that no matter how hard she works for you, that she’ll ever see a dime. She stages property without complaining and without charging you, and she lets you know when to leave something as is rather than spend money remodeling. As an example, our laundry “room” was in a closet in a room designated as the sewing or craft room. I was prepared to have a contractor come in and move it to another place, which would have cost me several thousands of dollars -- as well as the delay getting the house on the market of course. But thank Heavens Lauren said no, to wait until a buyer asked for them to be moved. She was right! Two separate families offered full price, and neither wanted the laundry room moved! She is a good photographer herself, yet she hires professionals. She talks with her co-workers, her Broker, everybody to get their take on the property; she is not too proud to learn more. Lauren is your best advocate, and during the time of selling or buying a home, isn’t that exactly who you want? Someone experienced and really, truly on your side? Well, here’s another example: A minor problem developed on my home’s sale, and I was just ready to bury my head in the sand and let the buyers deal with it. Three times I came up with ideas to do just about that, and three times Lauren stuck to her instincts and said No again, that that would leave me open to too much liability. She didn’t argue, she didn’t budge, she just stuck to her knowledge and quietly, professionally, said No, that she couldn’t let me do that. Too much liability for me. She communicates wonderfully well. You don’t have to ask why hasn’t she answered you, why hasn’t she called. She had Continuing Education while working with me, a State Licensing education requirement, so had her company’s transaction manager continually working with me. What did she do during this time? Phone me on breaks the class had. She is so one-on-one and so much your advocate. She’s honest, pretty, dresses well, makes you feel as though you are her only worry in the entire world. If anybody chose another Realtor over Lauren, I’d have to say they were, well, I hate to say foolish, but what else could be said? You’ll have no regrets hiring Lauren Clark.
